Hey Everyone,

So, thank you to those who have reviewed. I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad that despite my lack of updating, this story is still getting traffic and that you all like the story so far. I've been wrestling how I best want to go about this story and I think I might end up going back and forth quite a bit. I do like changing it up and writing from Caleb's POV though. It oddly makes me feel better.

Anyway, happy reading.

Annie's POV

I woke up early in the morning knowing that Caleb and Mr. Shadow would be up. I hadn't told anyone at the time, but sometimes when I stayed with Caleb's family, I'd watch him train with his dad. One day I guess I was curious enough to try to figure out why he did it and liked it so much. So, I secretly started to watch him and studied his movements. Ultimately, it made me tired and awake at the same time. I guess that's what happens when you do this so early in the morning.

Today was a little different though, Uncle Knuckles was up with the twins and joined them. That's when I remembered that the twins started to learn to box or at least something like that from Uncle Knuckles. I watched as Caleb held his hands up for the twins to practice. The twins didn't look too recognizable in their padding. They sure moved fast though. Eventually, Uncle Knuckles let them spar each other. I hadn't seen them do that before. It was kind of weird knowing that they were siblings yet they jabbed at each other as if it were the real thing. I was actually kind of worried one of them would get hurt. I was so fixated on my cousins that I didn't realize Caleb was gone.

I jumped and yelped when I heard a knock at my door. I covered my mouth and looked at the door.

"Annie, are you all right?"

"Yeah…" I relaxed, "hang on." I went and opened my door.

"Could you not sleep?"

"I just woke up is all." I tilted my head hoping that wasn't a give away. The spying on him was kind of embarrassing for reasons I didn't completely understand.

"Would you like to join us outside?"

"Uh… sure just let me change." I had been wanting to go down and get a better look and this was my chance.

"I'll let everyone know."

When I made it down, Caleb was teaching the twins kind of… well I call it a dance. I think Caleb told me what it was actually called but I forgot. Anyway, they were in mid movement when I walked up to them.

They all said hi to me and I said hi back.

"You want to try it out?" Uncle Knuckles motioned to Caleb and my cousins.

I smiled a little and nodded. "Sure."

I don't remember exactly the movements but I do remember what Mr. Shadow and Uncle Knuckles said.

"Amazing, you have perfect form." Mr. Shadow said.

"You're a natural Annie." Uncle Knuckles said.

I nervously smiled. "I have a good eye remember. Remember when I learned to write on cakes."

"Oh that sounds good. Can we have cake later?" Brick asked.

"We'll ask your mother." Uncle Knuckles responded.

"Hey does anyone else hear that?" Roxy asked.

We got quiet. I could hear something faint kind of. The sound got quiet, then loud and then quiet again.

"It's…" Brick started.

"Music?" Roxy finished.

"A cello I believe." Caleb said.

"Where is it coming from."

"Hmm." We all looked at Uncle Knuckles. "Well your mothers mentioned they were going to a yoga class with Sandy. Your friend plays the cello, so it stands to reason that the class is actually at their beach house and Conner is providing the music."

"How do you know he plays the cello?" I asked.

"His mom mentioned it."

"Hey, let's go check it out. We never get to exercise with Mommy." Roxy said.

"Isn't yoga more of a girl thing?" Brick asked.

"No way. It's exercise. And exercise is for everyone."

She grabbed Brick's hand and started leading him down the beach. "Come on Daddy. She called out to Uncle Knuckles. I went too. I was curious about the cello and any workout has to be interesting with live music.

They were on the deck at the side of the house.

"Mommy, we want to take the class with you." Roxy ran to her mom.

I saw Aunt Rouge pick her up. I suddenly missed how my mom used to pick me up. Oh well, I can settle for my dad and Caleb being able to pick me up.

I noticed Conner near his mom. I waved at him and he held up his… stick thingy… I'll ask later. His mom tapped his shoulder and told him something. He nodded, closed his eyes and I guess positioned himself to play. When he opened his eyes, he focused his eyes on his hands and he played… loudly and intensely. I could feel it in my bones. Wow… I didn't notice at first, but the chatter stopped. My mom tapped my shoulder.

"He's good, isn't he?"

I nodded. He stopped playing and looked at his mom. She smiled and starting clapping. We started to clap too. His mom motioned him to get up. He did and took a bow.

"Shall we continue the class with the kids… and a few of the guys?" Ms. Sandy asked with a smile.

"Oh, I think we'll head back."

"No you're not." Roxy told him.

"Wha-"

"Let's skip to the part where you cave in Dear." Aunt Rouge told him.

He opened and closed his mouth a few times before taking his place next to Aunt Rouge.

The class didn't last that long since they were about halfway done when we got there. It was different, really slow. Dad would not last long here. I nearly fell over at least three times. I kept getting distracted by Conner's playing. I was fighting between following Ms. Sandy and Conner's hands. I was trying to figure out how it works roughly but I wasn't in a good position to see.

He'll have to show me later. At the end of the class, I walked up to Conner and told him, "You're really good."

"Thanks."

"How long have you been playing?"

"Forever…" He smiled kind of. "I've actually competed all over the country."

"Compete?"

"Music is like anything else. Someone is always trying to prove they're the best, so competitions are set up for all ages and levels. I've won a few competitions back home. I haven't gone international yet."

"Gee, I had no idea."

"Would you um, would you like to hear something I've been composing?"

"You mean, you wrote a song?" I didn't know much about music but I've heard that word before.

"Well more like the start to hopefully an opera, but yes."

"Oh, that's so cool. I'd love to hear it." I had no clue what to actually expect but I liked the music he was playing earlier.

I remember feeling excited and anxious while he played. I never heard anything like it. It was like I was dropped into the middle of something important that I didn't actually understand. I felt the harsh notes in my bones. I watched him move his whole body. I could feel the heat coming off of him. When it was over, I was stunned. That sound, that feeling… it was all him. I had never been so amazed by something so normal in my life. I had never been so amazed by something so normal in my life.

FBZ MMX the account: I'm actually surprised. Have you never seen a first person perspective fanfic at all before now? Just a curiosity.

Blaze Sparks: I didn't think these two would ever reach that kind of status but I'm glad the next generation obvious love interest doesn't seem to be an issue. I mean it's been done to death but I couldn't see it any other way. Plus, this is what I set out to do. Watch them grow up.

Web2theweb1: I like your enthusiasm. I don't think I've ever been given a request but I suppose I can give it a try. I know what it's like to find less than what you want in topics. I've only recently started to look into Miraculous. I'll think about your offer too. It's been a while since I've had anyone edit a story of mine.
