Chapter 15

Konoha:

Anko felt like smacking herself upside the head for not noticing the egg Koga had sent her. She was quick to unseal it from the letter. How in Giratina's name had she not noticed she had been sent a Venonat Egg? Then again she had been waaay too amused at the Chaos Koga having Moltres kidnap Sasuke wrought, and then finally managing to broker a deal for a Bulbasaur Egg. She might be able to excuse herself for not noticing this sooner. Too bad Koga was in the Kanto Region, she might actually consider jumping him just for all the sweet Poison Types he'd sent her. Hm, there was an idea, Koga would need to help sire many more Uchiha since he was re-establishing the Clan in Kanto. There'd be a special allowance for mistresses for himself, Itachi, and Sasuke as Anko hadn't yet been informed that Uchiha Obito had been saved by Moltres.

That would actually be in the next letter Koga sent to her along with her new female Salandit. The letter would be sent to her via Dragonite Express Deliveries, which could handle sending things to the Elemental Nations unlike Delibird Deliveries. Though Koga was planning on going through the hand signs in order to find a summon that matched him. He did not want Orochimaru to be able to find him after all. He knew of that being's obsession with learning every jutsu. The Uchiha's kekkei genkai would make learning them that much easier. Still Anko hugs her Venonat Egg, then she polishes it, and puts it back in the Egg Case Koga sent it in. She had one of the best trained team's in all of Konoha, mostly because she wasn't stupid enough to treat her pokémon like lesser beings.

Anko treated them like family since she had been condemned for being Orochimaru's apprentice, and it showed in how loyal they were to her. It also showed in how they were able to fight off status effects, stay conscious after what should be one hit TKO's as well. All she had to do was figure out how in Giratina's name she was going to get a Budew. She wanted to be able to play with Roserade's Poisons as well. Her Bulbasaur was close to evolving, and what made her really happy was the fact that her Oddish wanted to be a Vileplume and not a Bellossom. She would have to make sure she happened to have a Leaf Stone when the time came, but she figured she could handle that. If nothing else she could always send a message to Koga asking him to buy her one, and transfer the funds to his Trainer's Account.

Just Outside Tanzaku, Fire Country:

With the help of her Meowth Tsunade was starting to make progress in paying down her debts. It helped that several passing through trainers, some being Reporter and Cameraman Duo's would challenge her to battles even as she continues to train her ass into the ground. She did not have any of her pokémon hold back against her, she needed her speed, reflexes, and situational awareness finely honed again. Senju Tsunade had been a fearsome opponent to face during the Second Shinobi World War. She and Shizune would need to check the orphanages and see if there were any promising medic ninja just waiting to have their talent nurtured. Hell, they could nurture a Poison Specialist as well, since Shizune's talents were more along the lines of using poisons on her weapons while in battle.

The blonde granddaughter of the Shodaime knew damned well she preferred to get up close and personal before pounding someone's face in, or turning their head into paste with a flick of her finger. She would have her combat Medic Corps, and it would be sorely needed since Madara fucking Uchiha was still around somehow. She substitutes herself with a pebble to avoid a Hyper Beam sent her way by her Wigglytuff, Blissey, Hariyama, and Audino. Why had she taught them all Hyper Beam again?

Shizune was working on her ability to use the Substitution Jutsu as well, having all of her pokémon attack her. Their job was to hit a moving target while hers was to get down to using no hand seals for the Substitution Jutsu, and to be able to do so instinctively as well. She'd also have to work on her chakra reserves as well. Medics may have finely honed chakra control, but that meant nothing if they ran out at a critical time. It also meant nothing if they got hit in battle as well. That meant being able to dodge and stay alive. It also meant when they put an enemy down they needed to STAY down!

Inside his room, since Tsunade had yet to release him from bed rest, Itachi is meditating. He knew he would need new pokémon, since he suspected his ancestor may just be behind the Akatsuki. This meant catching pokémon while away from Kisame and the others. He was not expecting a Shuppet to appear before him, but Itachi was no fool. He throws a quickly primed Quick Ball at the Shuppet, and with his Dex discovers he has a female Shuppet. The deep cover ANBU Weasel smirks wickedly as he calls his Shuppet out, " Do you know of any other Ghost Pokémon that would love to spy on the group I was ordered to infiltrate while at the same time causing havoc with no discernible cause? "

Shuppet twirls in place twice before disappearing only to reappear with a Duskull, Sableye, and one he didn't recognize. The one he didn't immediately recognize is a small, green Pokémon resembling a reptile or amphibian. It has yellow eyes, pink horns, and a light green tail with two hand-like protrusions at the front of its body, while its head is a darker green. Its tail also possesses a darker green area with three protrusions surrounding it. He primes three Friend Balls and they all touch the center button themselves. It was Tsunade whom told him what the pokémon he didn't recognize was, " How the Hell did you manage to catch a Dreepy. Those are Galar native pokémon, and they've only just started opening their borders up. I only know this because I went to Galar to learn some new medical techniques without the use of chakra. It also meant that I had to become a doctor by civilian standards. I managed to do so for humans and pokémon in five years time. Sensei had no problem with me doing so once the Second Shinobi World War was over. It was considered a training trip and I did bring back a lot of valuable knowledge that wasn't sensitive. "

Itachi blinks, " I know Dreepy is a Ghost Type since Shuppet went to get Ghost Types she knew that would love to spy and cause havoc. "

" Dual Dragon/Ghost with two evolutions, Drakloak and Dragapult. " Tsunade answers, " I would say someone emigrated at some point, and one stage of the evolution either got loose or was released. "

Itachi was inwardly smirking, his entire Clan would have been seething with jealousy at the mere fact that he got another Dragon Type so easily. Not even the Byakugan was capable of seeing Ghost Pokémon when they were invisible. He was going to have so much fun with this! It was at that moment that Itachi wondered if maybe he had spent too much time with Shishui before Danzo killed him. Shishui had thoroughly destroyed his body to the point where not even the Nidaime's Impure World Jutsu could resurrect him. The ultimate way for Shishui to flip the bird at Danzo. It was then Itachi remembered his mother had begged him to seal her body and preserve it. He only found out why after the fact, and he reaches into his pack, " I have another request of you, Lady Tsunade. My mother's last request was that I seal and preserve her body. I only found out why later. Mangekyou Sharingan has a debilitating effect on those whom awaken it unless you transplant someone else's eyes whom also had the Mangekyou Sharingan. "

" It makes sense that Mikoto would look after you like that. I'll do the procedure, we need to have you in top fighting form anyhow. " Tsunade muses.

" Agreed, taking down Madara is not going to be easy. " Itachi states.

Santalune City, Kalos:

Violet, Photographer and Gym Leader for Santalune City is surprised when Genesect of all pokémon appears before her with a girl with short mint green hair and orange colored eyes. Being informed by Genesect that the girl would be a new gym trainer and had been removed from the Elemental Nations for her own safety and mental well being was not how she expected her day to start. Still, Violet didn't mind taking on a Gym Trainer for the gym, and Fū, as the girl introduced herself, could potentially take over for her as gym leader once she was ready to retire. Violet gets the new gym trainer settled in, and introduces her to the concept of the Battle Chalet. It would be a good way for Fū to train, and earn a decent sized nest egg as well. Sure she'd be a Baroness until she ranked up, but once you got to a certain rank you could face the gym leaders over and over again, along with other high level trainers.

She was so giving her new Gym Trainer a Surskit Egg though since she already had a Scatterbug. Violet could not wait to see what form of Vivillon it evolved into though. There were so many different wing patterns for Vivillon, and they were all equally stunning in their own way. Having Genesect literally bring her a Gym Trainer had come from way out in left field, but she happened to be a Bug Type Trainer, and adapted very fast. She had to in order to be able to actually kick Grant's ass when she was already suffering from a type disadvantage!

Akala Island, Alola:

Koga's one male Eevee had finally evolved into Sylveon which meant he could get Anko a female Salandit. His Sylveon's brother and himself were brainstorming on possible ways to unlock the Poison Eeveelution. Koga would love to be the one to discover how that is done. Anko might actually jump him when he figured out how to pull it off. He wouldn't actually mind that since he would need to have several more children. Thankfully the Fire Daimyo was kind enough to explain this to the President of Kanto. This meant that until the numbers of the Uchiha were up to a reasonable amount the males would be allowed multiple wives. Though Koga was going to make damned certain that there would be none of that inbreeding or the Holier-Than-Thou attitudes.

There was a very good reason as to why he had left Konoha after all. He had not been able to stand being around his family. Finding out that they got killed off for their arrogance only proved to him he had made the correct choice. He did wish his nephew Itachi hadn't been forced to kill the Clan though. However, rot like that had to be culled at the root, if that meant getting rid of the infants and children on top of those actively planning a coup in Konoha, so be it. Sometimes atrocities needed to be committed for the sake of the many. His team were enjoying the Poké Pelago while harvesting all sorts of fun items. The fossils of Kabuto and Anorith were set aside so he could send them all to the Aburame in thanks for those poison and antidote recipes.

Fuschia City:

Obito delights in watching Janine kick Sasuke's ass around the training field even as he gets his ass trained into the ground by Bruno's Machamp. To be fair, once more he needed to get up to Jonin level while still being a Chunin. There was no way he was going to let his sensei and Kushina-nee down. Naruko and her ready made genin team needed a sensei, someone that could help them further their training. He so wanted them to be able to take the Chunin Exams by storm. Hm, freelance ninja did take the exams, mostly to promote their names. In this case, well, it would be shoving Konoha's failures into stark relief. It would serve the village right since a Chunin literally went after a clan heir just to psychologically damage his sensei's only child! That bastard had best consider himself grateful that Minato-sensei's Gallade or worse his Kommo-o hadn't gotten to him first. Being given to Anko and then the Aburame Clan was tame in comparison to what Gallade and Kommo-o would have done to the fool.

Obito could still hear the bitching Fugaku had done about the fact that Minato had gotten the Jangmo-o line, not to mention the praises Minato had sung about him as well. To be fair Minato-sensei did earn his Bingo Book ranking. Kushina-nee was almost as scary as Minato-sensei. Even she had admitted that when Minato got pissed he was scarier than she was at her hormonal worst. That was something Iwa/Rock, Kumo/Cloud, and Kiri/Mist learned the very hard and terrifying way. For someone that was not a blood Uzumaki Minato-sensei had been scary good at the Sealing Arts. The legally dead Uchiha finds himself dodging on instinct as he utilizes moving meditation to organize his thoughts. He had always been way too active for the sedentary style of meditation. It did have the benefit of making damned certain his situational awareness was through the roof.

Bruno was going through the proper channels to spar Might Guy while also training himself as well. Learning that Madara was still around after a fashion was not a pleasant notion. Putting that bastard six feet under where he should have already been was of the highest priority. If that meant several ninja that had stopped pushing themselves started to again...well, Obito sure as hell wasn't going to complain. He also wasn't going to allow his sensei's only child to get drawn into that kami damned mess either as he had heard Jiraiya, Minato-sensei's sensei mention that the Toad Elders knew of a prophecy. Jiraiya had thought Minato-sensei was the Child of Prophecy. Since Minato-sensei had died saving his child and Konoha...though really, what had he been thinking when allowing every adult to know about Naruko's status? No one knew about Mito or Kushina-nee holding the Kyuubi, and yet Minato allows Naruko's status to be known when there would be so many emotions running rampant.

If his spirit wouldn't be in Shinigami's stomach Kushina-nee would have already kicked his spectral ass while ripping him a new one. Obito did not blame Lugia for getting Naruko out of such a caustic environment. Hell, if he'd've had his way he wouldn't have grown up in the cesspit Konoha was already in the process of becoming. Had Minato-sensei survived things might be different.

Enroute to Tanzaku Town:

Uzuki Yugao, Shiranui Genma, and Gekko Hayate did not yet know why they had been sent with the Senju Accounting Information. Sarutobi rightfully decided that it would be better to keep a lid on his three best choices for Hokage so as to keep outside elements from interfering. This was of course before Kushina's Spirit decided to Raise Unholy Hell after what her daughter had suffered through. Two of her clones had Koharu and the other old fart that made up the elders cornered. The original was not going to allow them to escape. The three jonin had already left before Kushina made her move. Yugao freezes just then, " Dammit Kushina-sensei, you couldn't have waited until I got back so I could enjoy the show! "

Genma and Hayate look at her, " What show? "

Yugao's smirk was all teeth, " Why the one where she seeks vengeance upon every bitch and bastard that either harmed her child or stood by while doing nothing. "

Genma winces, " Well, shit. We should have known she'd be able to make her Wrath felt. She's an Uzumaki, Order Logic does not apply. "

Hayate grimaces, Konoha's citizens were getting a very thorough wake up call at the hands of the spirit of one Uzumaki Kushina. He was suddenly very grateful to not be there. When Kushina was angry she got creative. " Remind me to hunt down Kakashi when we get back. Knowing him he'll have his Sharingan up and running along with a stash of chakra pills so he can watch and remember the carnage in full detail. " Yugao says.

Genma cackles at this, " Agreed, Kushina always did put on one helluva show when her ire was properly roused. "
