Chapter 1:
It was a really hot summer day, I mean a really hot day. Zoro ,nami, usopp , and luffy were sweating despite having air conditioning installed into all of their apartments. Apparently all the air conditioning systems in the city stopped working. Usually Sanji would have whiped something cool for them but he was busy today at work . Luffy was hungry, sweaty, thirsty and did I mention sweaty? After an hour or so he snapped,
"if he won't come to us then we'll go to him!" Luffy said while standing on the table.
"With what money?" Said nami as she fanned herself with her hand.
"We shouldn't have to pay, we are his friends! And friends don't make friends pay on a hot summer day" luffy said in his most childish voice.
"I guess it's worth a try..." Usopp said while grabbing the keys to his truck.
On the way there they picked up Robin, Franky and chopper. brook was busy on a secret mission since he is a private detective.
" Wait guys, does the restaurant have air conditioning? " asked Chopper .
" Yeah it's one of the few places in this city with air conditioning, " answered zoro.
". that makes me wonder how many people died trying to get there before they overheated," said Robin, chuckling in a sinister way.
" That's not funny!!" said usopp and chopper in unison.
When they got there the cool air cooled all of them down as the smell of food hit them next. Luffy was practically floating to the food when he got a sniff of the delicious food, but before he reached the stool he felt someone pull him back .
" Now...we are only spending enough for us to be full, which means no hundreds of plates of food okay? You know since I'm paying, " said Nami, holding her purse.
That rule went out the window quickly after nami had about 3 bottles of whiskey. They quickly turned the whole restaurant into a party when Zoro made a proposal that all food and drinks were on nami . Usually nami would have hit him across the head but she was too drunk to even consider doing anything but drinking and dancing.
Sanji gladly served the ladies in the restaurant and was having the time of his life being cuddled and kissed by women .
Usopp was telling a story while he stood on top of a table while hundreds of people listened to his tale.
Luffy ate more than 1,000 plates of food and still wasn't full and he was watched by a girl whom he knew from high school. " Hey Hancock, are you hungry? just order something nami will cover it" said luffy yelling to boa hancock since the music was too loud . Boa felt her heart melt as she thought about him caring about whether or not she is hungry.
A few hours later things got wild . Robin saw Sanji and Zoro start to makeout she wasn't sure if they were just drunk or what but she chuckled to herself knowing it would have happened sooner or later. Sanji's co-workers were taking pictures as the two men were making out , this was a night that Sanji was going to regret as long as he worked at the Baratie.
Franky was doing that weird pose while saying 'super!' People were for some reason coping him but whatever.while Chopper had chopsticks in this nose while he was dancing . It was truly a good time.
After 9 hours of partying the time came for nami to pay. Just looking at the bill was enough to make her turn sober. It was 7,000 dollars! How is she supposed to afford that? Nami panicked and was about to ask if anyone could help pay the bill, when a man gave his credit card to sanji and a hundred dollar bill.
"I'll pay and tip for you guys " a man said from the back of nami. He took back his card after the payment was done and left the building. Luffy tried to catch up with him to thank him but the crowd of people stopped him from seeing where the mysterious man went .
Luffy only knows what his physical appearance was. He had golden eyes , black hair, tall, and he had tattoos.
It's been a week since that day and it was still hot as hell outside but some apartments got their air conditioning back so people like Zoro , Sanji, and Robin didn't have to worry about the summer heat. Luffy had one more day before he moved out of his brother's house. Ace was busy trying to convince his brother not to go and the dangers of moving out. Sabo was sad about Luffy leaving but he understood that this is what his brother wanted and it was no use trying to talk him out of it.
The next day all of Luffy's friends came to help him move into his new house in the deserted neighborhood where there were only 3 other houses. That made ace worry a bit more
" Hey Lu you don't have to do this " .
" Really ace don't worry I have 3 other neighbors I'm sure I'll be fine plus I'm strong " said Luffy with a large smile .
After they moved everything from the trucks into the house they all decided to go see if the neighbors were any good.
The first house they were going to check out was gray and two stories high. It had double doors , the outside looked pretty modern but also tropical. The house also had bushes around the house that were shaped to act as the fence .
"I wonder if they are rich, they have the biggest house here " said Nami with an evil grin.
" What if they are a serial killer?"Robin commented.
"that's not funny,!" said usopp, chopper, brook and ace in unison.
When they got to the door they rang the doorbell 3 times before the door opened to their surprise it was someone they would have never expected to see again.
