Chapter 5:

"Luffy, you just need a way to get even closer to him, he just doesn't seem to like someone who would date someone he's not that close to, " Usopp advised while sitting next to luffy.

" i think i know what to do" luffy murmured while he was still blushing but carried one of his big smiles on his face .

"Um yeah no luffy you only dated one person plus your ideal type of dates aren't really uh….ideal to other people to say the least" nami shared with luffy as she was painting her toenails .

" I have an idea it can be something the whole group can enjoy, but it's disguised as a way for luffy to hang out with traffy " chopper blurted out , causing him to almost choke while he was eating cotton candy.

"yeah like a beach day!" Brook vouched as he came up from behind nami's couch "yeah" chopper conceded to the proposal . With that settled they decided to pick a day where they could all go to the beach.

On a hot summer day 4 days after the meet up at nami's place everyone that was available was driving or being driven to the beach they agreed to meet at .

Luffy had butterflies in his stomach, thinking about how this was a way for him to ask law on a date . Law had offered to drive luffy to the beach but it would have made luffy explode so he had his brother drive him instead.

On the drive there Luffy decided to let sabo, ace, and marco in on the plan"Um…guys I need to tell you something…." Luffy announced nervously.

"Ask away lu" Ace consented while driving not knowing his brother's next words will shock him.

"I have a crush on traffy…"

"I know, " Sabo said while looking at his brother with a smirk. "What the mother fucking hell!!" Ace cursed and jumped a bit in surprise which in turn caused them to swerve a bit .

"Yeah….and we are using this trip as an excuse for me to hang out with him," Luffy said trying to reassure ace, but all it did was piss him off more" why him though " ace questioned angerly, but he didn't let luffy anwser as he continued to rant on

" I don't see what the big appeal is . Sure he's hot or whatever but come on that's the only thing he has on him"ace stated. But he Immediately regretted talking because Marco gave him a look of confusion. "So now my coworker is hot now?"Marco said as he looked out the window,"Wait, I didn't mean it like that baby," Ace said as he tried comforting his boyfriend. The rest of the way Ace tried comforting Marco, but Marco stood his ground.

When they got to the beach they saw everyone else. Marco disappeared into the crowd. " Okay let's get everything out the trunk then you can go hang out with your crush luffy " Sabo said trying to tease ace. Luffy put his straw hat on and grabbed his stuff and went looking for law .

When luffy finally found law he was sitting on a beach chair under the umbrella that matched his tattoos. Luffy's heart started to beat faster as he saw the shirtless law sitting on the beach chair ."Hey torao " Luffy greeted law as he was setting up everything next to him."hi" law said while he looked at luffy.

After Luffy was done setting up everything he sat down on the chair . Law was confused because he would think that luffy would want to hangout with his other friends" straw hat-ya why are you here with me, don't you want to hangout with your friends? ". " I want to hangout with you," Luffy gave him a smile. Law blushed a while he answered with"okay".

After an hour a few people decided to play volleyball. Luffy,Law,and Boa Hancock were on one team and Sanji,Franky, and Vivi were on the other team .

During the game boa and law were fighting about something from a long time ago, that pissed luffy off seeing that she was annoying his crush. " Can the two of you stop fighting! '' Luffy finally snapped,." Sorry my love " boa hancock apologized while grabbing on his arm. Luffy pushed her away, but only because he was really pissed so he walked away to cool off.

Law felt bad since he was part of the problem so he went after him ."hey straw hat-ya I'm sorry about what happened back there with her" law apologized because he was genuinely sorry.

"It's fine torao ,I just like it when all my friends get along," Luffy said while blushing. "Yeah I guess that makes sense,'' Law said while walking next to luffy.

Then Luffy thought of something,"Let's go swimming with everyone else," Luffy said while grabbing Law's hand and running towards the water. " Wait! I don't want to get wet!" Law protested as he was trying to get free of Luffy's grasp before they hit the water. Unfortunately it was too late ,they hit the water. Law was now wet. " Sorry torao…" luffy apologized, he did something his crush didn't like.

"Mugiwara-ya..." Law said in a cold tone as he approached luffy.

"yes torao?"Luffy was going to apologize again but as he opened his mouth to talk he tasted salt water, law splashed luffy with salt water. Sabo smiled as he watched Luffy and law continue to splash each other like little kids . That shocked everyone but Sabo ,"take care of him traffy" Sabo said while getting out of the water.

30 minutes later Nami saw Luffy and Law go for a walk away from the group, that was good now she could assemble the whole group together to talk about the situation. "Okay guys I gathered you all here today to talk about luffy and law " some just looked at her confused . She sighed "for those who don't know, luffy is head over heels for law and as good friends we have to help him in his heart" nami enlightened them while she stood on top of the cooler usopp just brought.

"there's no way my future husband is Gay for him! Sure he's more into guy other, but I'm sure we'll figure something out" She yelled "Especially not for that fucking emo ass doctor" boa hancock said while standing up to testify against nami

" for your information Luffy is demi-pansexual boa so get your facts straight, and think about this. It could be his only chance at love. Do you really want to ruin that?" Zoro taunted her as he wrapped his arm around sanji. Those words shut boa up for the rest of the meeting .

Usopp stood up " Um..before we continue the meeting can you please get off my cooler ? That wasn't cheap".

"Let me think…uh no " nami said with a hint of sas in her voice.

" bitch " usopp muttered under his breath .

Nami still heard him so she smacked him across his face.

"Now let's continue, we know luffy has something for law but the real question is does law have a thing for luffy?" Nami questioned as she cupped her chin.

"Uh we've known law since middle school and in that time he never gave signals for liking guys" penguin said while looking at nami. Jinbei made a proposal "maybe he's heteroflexible like sanji".

" True, or bi " Brook said while cupping his chin. At that point in time everyone including shachi and penguin were playing guess law's sexuality.

"Let's just stick to jimbei's guess " chopper exclaimed exhausted from thinking in the hot sun.

"Yeah, but the problem is why does My brother have a crush on Mr. Hotshot emo doctor?" Ace said angrily.

" I don't know, the same way you think 'he's hot or whatever'" Marco said sarcastically. Ace blushed a bit from embarrassment.

"Um okay…Guys let's give him some suggestions when he comes back so he can choose whose idea he likes best, " Nami suggested while she pointed at the sky.

" I think we should just let him do what he wants to d-"

"Shut up Jinbei," Nami snapped at jinbei.

Nami grabbed Luffy after he was done talking to law and they went their separate ways. Law went to his chair and decided it was time to take a nap with chopper on his chest.

"Luffy, how's it going with traffy?" Nami said, while handing him an ice cream cone.

" I don't know…but I'm going to ask him on a date ",

"no the hell you aren't "ace said to luffy while coming out of nowhere.

"Yeah! "nami, franky,sanji,and usopp said also coming out of nowhere.

Ace thought they were on his side so he was about to thank them "thank you gu-"

"You need to butter him up bro so he'll be super ready to go on a date with you " Franky said while doing his pose.

"No wait what!?" Ace said confused on whose side they were on.

" No, you need to seduce him to keep him Coming back, " nami suggested , " I think that only works on bitches like you" usopp said while rolling his eyes but was hit on the top of his head by nami.

They all ignored Ace , and eventually Ace gave up and just watched as his brother asked out his crush. The meeting ended and they all waited for the final results.

Luffy shook law to wake him up from his nap, law woke up and he saw luffy looking at him , " you need something luf- i mean mugiwara-ya", law almost said luffy's actual name that made luffy a bit hot.

"Hey torao…I have a question.." Luffy said while sitting down trying to hide his hard cock from his crush.

"What Is it ?" Law said while looking at the sun setting.

" This may seem weird but, can we please go on a date and at the end you can determine if you want to be in a relationship, you're under no pressure…"luffy voiced while looking in the other direction ,blushing at embarrassment.

"Sure,when?" Law said in a cool tone but he was totally exploding inside .

" next Friday at 7pm " Luffy said with a cheerful tone.

"Okay then it's a date" law said while taking his sunglasses off , his yellow eyes shined as from the setting sun the sky was pink and yellow from the sun was setting. Luffy had never felt like this about anyone , he was so excited to go on a date with him .

He got up and walked joyfully to nami and the rest of his friends with an excited expression on his face.

" he said yes!" Luffy announced while hugging them in a group .

"You seduced him right!?" Nami said excitedly .

Luffy shook his head side to side "Um no I just asked him on a date, no extra stuff " Luffy said as he grinned .

Penguin gasped "Wait that means….law's…heteroflexible! " Everyone but Jimbei and Zoro got hit with that realization.

"Called it," Jumbei casually said to himself.

It was about time to go so everyone was packing up and leaving."Luffy I got some bad news: the Donquixote gang members shot up some people in our territory, " Brook repeated a text message from Bon clay.

"Oh hell no! Is everyone okay?" Luffy asks anxiously while grabbing brook.

"Um he was shot so was Rebecca ,Leo and 2 underlings " Brook continued to read the message out loud. " shit!" Luffy cursed . Luffy ran to law .

" Can you take me to the hospital? " Luffy asked law,"sure-" he got a phone call from the hospital. He answered , he was told about 5 people got shot and were badly injured in the heart . Without letting the front desk lady finish talking, Law got in the car and drove to the hospital with Luffy while some of his friends followed behind him .

When they got there Luffy and Law split up. Luffy ran to catch up with his friends and then they checked in and waited. Luffy was counting on law to save his friends.
