Chapter 2

Back in the Waking World

Haku's honey brown eyes harden as she glares at the mad child who is just smirking at her and laughing at the sight of his teammate's compulsing body laying between them.

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!'' She screamed at him in rage. ''HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO A TEAMMATE WHO TRUSTED YOU. YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE ON THE GROUND HAVING SEIZURES AND DYING PAINFULLY. I HAD MADE THIS POISON ESPECIALLY FOR YOU!" Haku roared before pouncing at him with her ice kunai, ready to cut at his throat. But he managed to block the blow with his own kunai and snorted at her.

"Why cry for a loser like her, she served her purpose." He mocks her with a larger grin on his face while his kunai is still locked with her. But that and his ego was blinding him so much, he didn't notice the floating ice senbon made of leftover frozen poison behind and around him, ready to strike.

But unseen by the two, a soft emerald green light was slowly beginning to rise, the glow starting at the tips of the young girl's feet, creeping up her legs and her toes slowly twitching where the glow had begun.

"I'm going to murder you." Haku tells him in a deadly calm voice while pushing on the kunai hold.

"Like you would even be able to." Sasuke tells her in a taunting tone while pushing back.

"Oh i will you fucking little duck ass little boy. I had the upper hand in our battle before you took the coward's way out and used this poor girl as your shield. And I still do now." Haku tells him as ice tears slip down her masked cheeks while the icy poisoned senbons were twitching in the air, as if itching to pierce the bastard's skin.

But before either nin could make a move on the other, a gasp is heard coming from behind the two as a bright emerald glow comes from behind Haku's back.

Haku's eyes widen as she slowly turns to see the girl she has been fighting for…..gasping for breath while black and crimson veins pulsed under the light of her body, with a crimson black sludge oozing from her mouth as she flips herself over, throwing up the poison that's been coursing through her veins.

"Nariana?!" Haku whispers as the shower of ice needles around the cowardly Uchiha dropped and melted on the ground from the shock of seeing the blond still alive and purging herself of the poison.

As for Sasuke, his eyes widened with horror and fury at the thing coming back to life. "What the fuck?" He questions out loud, not caring if anyone heard him. "It's impossible, impossible, You should be dead! Not coming back to life and puking your heart out." He said before breaking away from the kunai hold and took several steps back, wanting to get away from the unnatural thing that is knelt over, still throwing up black crimson sludge.

Hearing Sasuke's screams about Nariana still being alive. Kakashi's heart stops just for that second, and the second later he felt his heart finally coming back to life at the news that his sensei's daughter is alive, that he didn't fail them.

"Don't take your eyes off of me, CopyCat." Zabuza calls out to Kakashi, drawing the man back to the rogue Ninja's attention.

But then his single crimson eye began spinning to life, changing into something that shouldn't be possible for one that doesn't have Uchiha blood in his veins "Sorry, but I have someone more important than you to worry about.'' Without another word, he vanished into some kind of swirling portal that sucked him in like a black hole before closing, only to reopen right next to Nariana and dump him there.

A Roar of Furry could be heard from where Kakashi had once been fighting Zabuza. No doubt the Rogue being quit pissed off at his opponent dishing him, but Kakashi didn't really care or even bothered to look up from his spot as he knelt down next to Nariana, placing his right hand on her back as she vomited up the last of the poison from her body. "Shh…Nariana….you'll be alright." He tries soothing her.

"Sensei?" Nariana gasps out between breaths as she slowly lifts her head to look up at the silver hair man knelt down next to her. "What…what are…are you…you doing here?" She questions him, still gasping for air and confused at the man's suddenly caring for her well being.

"I was worried about you. I would have come as soon as I heard you screaming, but Zabuza was not easy to shake off." Kakashi admitted to her sheepishly as he looked away from her, unable to make eye contact with his young student, his guilt finally having caught on to him at the fact that to her like the others, he was a poor Sensei. He hardly ever taught her or Sakura anything individually while teaching Sasuke too much, and doing too little to curb his lust for power and revenge. He couldn't even teach his students how to work together properly, he was such a failure.

Kakashi's head then snaps head up as clapping is heard coming from the edge of the bridge. "Well, well, what do we have going on here?" Came the nazely voice of the little troll who's taken over the island.

"Gato." Growls out Nariana as she pushes herself up upon her knees as her emerald green eyes glowed with slights the briefest of seconds, when she narrowed her eyes upon the tiny man in his tiny business suit.

Kakashi glances at her out of the corner of his gray eye, seeing the brief flash but brushing it off as his imagination do to being exhausted from the overall fight. He also moves into a crouch position, ready to attack at any second with his right hand moved to his back pouch to grab a kunai.

Behind them, Zabuza appeared in the mist, taking long, slow steps as he narrowed his black eyes upon the man toddler that had hired him. "What are you doing here?" He growls out as his own eyes flash crimson for the briefest of moments.

Well, when it didn't appear my investment wasn't delivering the goods as promised, I hired some cheaper thugs to take care of the little shinobis as well as yourself. You are charging me way too high for what you are providing, which is nothing at all." Gato tells him with a snort.

A deep rumbling growl escapes his throat. "You little bastard. You dare double cross me?" He growls out at the man toddler standing across the bridge from him.

"Oh don't be so upset, Zabuza. You should have known this was going to happen to you sooner or later." Gato tells him with a smug tone of voice.

Suddenly, a light green glow slowly began to surround Nariana once more as she began rising from the ground and floating on the spot, with her eyes glowing as well and turning into snake slits in anger, something Kakashi definitively saw this time and looked upon the girl in shock. "Every Village or Port you have been to. You have killed or double crossed every missing shinobi or legal shinobi you have ever hired, did you?" She hissed out at him as her voice takes on an unnatural tone to it, not demonic, but not natural at all either, like the combination between a snake and a ghost.

Behind everyone, Sasuke looked upon the now floating strawberry blonde with his eyes growing wide with horror. A voice deep within his psyche whispered to him with his brother's voice. "You will never grow stronger, little brother. You are worthless, I should have killed you that night with the others." The ghostly voice of Itachi whispers to the unstable boy.

And so without a second thought, neither for his teammates or his sensei, he turned tail like all the other Uchiha's did before him. Running for their own lives and not caring for the lives of others.

Meanwhile, Sakura who's still guarding Tazuna as best she could, brightens when she sees her "Prince" come running out of the mist towards her. "Sasuke-kun." She squeals at the sight of him.

But all he did was push past her and Tazuna and ran past them, making her fall on her non-existent ass. "Get the hell out of my way you stupid useless girl." He cried as he continued running while Sakura cried at being pushed hashly, and Tazuna helped her get up while sending the boy a dirty look he completely ignored.

But before he could completely get off the half finished bridge and to ''Safer Grounds'', an ice mirror suddenly appeared before him, and a fist came out of it to punch him hard on the face, knocking him on the ground and to unconsciousness with a little trickle of blood coming out of his broken nose ''Not so fast coward, you have a lot to pay for before you leave.'' Haku said after sticking his head out of the mirror to look at the boy's uncold body.

Back with Nariana on the bridge

Snakes and tree vines began coming out of the nearby forest, twisting around the support pillars so hard they would crack in some places, and hissing at Gato and his thugs so much they would back away or risk getting bitten by them. Meanwhile, Nariana's glowing green eyes settled upon Gato, with a dark smile that is unfitting upon her innocent face.

"You have brought upon yourself the wrath of the Loa Gato. For your miss deeds, I shall be your Judge and Jury." Nariana spoke in an eerie tone of voice.

Screams could be heard from the thugs as the vines reached them and tied them up into place, that being the snakes cue to attack and give them a hefty dose of venom, those who were not crushed to death by the vines anyway.

Kakashi takes a slight step back at the sight before him. The girl was looking a lot more like her mother in terms of rage right now, and this new power she seemed to possess was like nothing he's ever seen. For a second, he even thought that the girl has inherited a Kekkei Genkai similar to the First Hokage Mukoton, which would explain the vines, but nothing he could think of would explain the snakes, she couldn't have been trained by Anko, and she certainly couldn't have been in contact with Orochimaru, so how is she doing it?

Back with Gato, the man was lying on the ground in Terror, watching all of the thugs he brought with him being crushed to death by vines or being poisoned to death by snakes.

A dark chuckle draws Gato back towards where the demonic strawberry blonde was floating, with Zabuza now standing next to her with his arms across his chest and his bandages having fallen from covering his face, his shark-like toothy grin perfectly visible as he watches the terror on the little shit's face. "It appears the table has been turned." He told him, chuckling dark, then his dark eyes looked up towards Nariana.

'That girl's power is impressive, if i didn't know better… I'd say she was really from the Hidden Swamp village in Marsh.' Zabuza thought to himself before his eyes moved again, now towards Kakashi, noticing the slight fear in the man's body language. "Moron." He chuckles out, glad to see even the legendary ''CopyCat'' Kakashi can be frightened.

Before anyone knew what happened, Gato began floating in the air and was quickly brought to Nariana's face. Her right hand reached out towards him as her nails grew longer, becoming emerald green claws as her fingers slowly wrapped around his neck. "As for you, My judgment that I passed… Is eternal banishment from humanity, Gato." She tells him chuckling as her nails dig into his skin. As he gasps, choking in Nariana's tight grip, a green smoke begins to wrap around his whole body, slowly changing him into a form that suits him better. When the smoke finally cleared, all that remained of the man toddler was a yellow/green, fat and slammy toad, resting in Nariana's hand.

"My creepy little pet. No one will ever break the spell that I had placed upon you, not even a Koa. You shall spend the rest of your now much shorter days as a toad. For no one will ever love a thing like yourself, unless of course they are a snake or bird that would love to have you for dinner." Nariana tells him with a dark giggle.

But the toad didn't care much anymore, just croaking at her before jumping off of her hand and mindlessly finding its way towards the edge of the bridge, dropping into the sea below it.

"Well, that sure was fun." Zabuza said as he looked towards the strange girl slowly lowering back down upon the bridge.

"My life has changed from this day forth. No one she'll ever be able to hurt me again, and I will do what I want to do." Nariana said as she looked down at her hands, more precisely at the long green nails that had blood covering them, and slowly watched them turning back to normal.

"Good for you kid. We need change in this kami forsaking world." Zabuza tells her with his arms crossed.

Nariana slowly looks up to the missing shinobi standing behind her, showing him no fear and neither did he for her. Then slowly again, she looks over her shoulder, towards her Sensei still slightly cowering on the ground, but also looking relieved that it's over and that she was ok. This made her smile for a moment, then she frowned as she looked back up to the bandaged faced man. "I do agree. But for real change to happen to me, I must leave my village behind and go south, towards Marsh country where Great Mami Wata said ``I'll find a better life, but first..." She finishes telling him, just as an ice mirror appeared on their right and a now awakened Sasuke was harshly thrown out of it, followed by Haku who walked out of it before it vanished.

Nariana frowns looking down at the little bastard, now on the ground before her. "I need to handle another waste of space and time." She grumbles out as her slitted emerald green eyes turn icy cold while looking down at Sasuke with disdain.

"The villagers are right, you are a monster." Sasuke tells her with a shaky voice laced with fear when he raises his head to look at her, panic and fear helded within his eyes as hers eyes only reflect anger and disappointment. Slowly tries to crawl away from her.

Nariana shakes her head at the trash on the floor, trembling like a frightened mouse. She would very much like to feed the snakes, but that would be too good for him, no she had another idea in mind. "Maybe I am a monster, but what you are is far worse: A Bloodthirsty coward with delusions of grandeur coupled with an inferiority complex and too much pride in your family's heritage, before I leave I'll need to remedy it. I'll start by removing these." She said before raising her glowing green hand to his face. Suddenly, a searing pain coupled with a harsh pulling sensation was felt in his eyes, causing him to scream for a good minute before his eyes were telekinetically removed from his sockets and crushed in the air for everyone to see.

''My-my eyes, you bitch, wha-what did you do with my eyes.'' Agonizing Sasuke screamed out while trying to get up and find his eyes, ''I took them and I crushed them. Like i said Teme, you put to much pride in your family's heritage, and it ends here and now with you.'' She then raised a glowing hand again, but this time to Sasuke's ''Man Parts'' and quickly closed it into a fist, causing yet another searing pain to pass through there and making Sasuke fall on the ground screaming and holding his parts.

Kakashi then snapped out of his fear induced stupor and dashed to Sasuke's side to see what was wrong, ''Nariana, what did you do to him.'' He dryly and worriedly asked the girl who smirked. ''Just a little magical castration to insure he wouldn't pass on his worst traits to his descendants, and to ensure the Uchiha bloodline dies with him and that psycho brother of his.'' She said with no shame.

Horrified and a bit upset now, Kakashi slowly moved his hands to form some kind of jutsu to incapacitate the blond, but an emerald green aura appeared around his hands and froze them in position, stopping the jutsu. "I wouldn't even think of trying something sensei, the ass deserved it for what he tried to do to me, and deserves no sympathy from you or anyone else." She tells him before giving a good telekinetic push that sends him crashing to one of the bridge pillars painfully. "Besides, i don't intend to come back with you, so do yourself a favor sensei and forget you even knew me and Goodbye." She said before walking to the bridge's edge, her emerald green eyes looked down upon the sea below her. With one final look over her, she gave her misguided sensei one final smile as she took a step off the bridge, falling a few hundred feet to what appeared to be her own death into the sea.

"NARIANA!" Screams Kakashi as he painfully pushes himself off the ground and ran to the edge, passing by his crippled and still screaming in pain male student, but didn't stop to help him this time as there was nothing anyone can do for him, the injuries he had suffered marked both the end of his shinobi career and any chances of ever reviving his clan.

"NO!" Kakashi cries as he reaches the edge just in time to see his young student's body disappearing in the waters below, losing yet another student. Tears rolled down his masked cheeks as he fell back upon his butt, his hands raised to cradle his head as he finally snapped. Losing himself to the events of the day, hell, the events of his life.
