Peter just wanted to get through the school day without interruptions. The sooner class let out, the sooner he could do Spiderman things or go to the lab with Tony. Instead, he gets spammed with phone calls in the middle of class. Classes where "The Rule" is strictly enforced. If you get a call you must answer it. On Speaker. Part of the Itsy Bitsy Spider series.

Prompt: Hide me from Thor

This was probably the first time Peter was grateful when he heard his phone start ringing. Normally he loved it when they watched movies in class. What kid didn't? But this time he'd rather have a lecture. No offense to Mr. Harrington or anything. It's just that the movie he picked was super boring. More so to Peter because he had already watched it several times with May. So when his ringtone rang out, causing the movie to be paused so Peter could answer it, he was happy.

"Hi Mr. Loki! You're on speaker," Peter said cheerfully. Half of the class had fallen asleep while the other half was absorbed in their phones. Most, if not all, of them had their earbuds in so Peter didn't have to worry about them listening to the conversation. Only Ned and MJ were paying any real attention, and Peter never had to watch what he said around them anyway. They already knew all of Peter's secrets, so there was no reason to worry.

"Hello son of spiders and class," Loki replied, causing Peter to sigh. Try as he might, he still couldn't get Loki to call him Peter.

"What's up Mr. Loki? You don't usually call."

"I am in need of a place to hide," Loki answered. Peter raised an eyebrow. Loki, the literal God of Mischief, needed a place to hide? That was suspicious.

"What did you do?" Peter asked hesitantly. He wasn't sure if he wanted to know the answer or not.

"I may have replaced all of Thor's clothing with dresses. Wedding dresses to be specific," Loki said. Peter could hear the mixture of pride and mischievousness in his voice.

"Why wedding dresses?" Peter asked, deciding to just roll with it. As long as Loki was having fun and not murdering people, then Peter wouldn't stop him.

"It is a bit of a sore spot for my brother. I will tell you the full story at another time."

"Alrighty. If you don't mind, what did he do to annoy you?"

"That oaf was blasting Barton's hideous excuse for music in the early hours. He disturbed my rest."

"Ouch," Peter winced. He liked Clint, truly, but his taste in music left much to be desired. He couldn't blame Loki for wanting revenge.

"Exactly. Now where do you suggest I stay until Thor gets distracted by something shiny and gives up looking for me?"

"You could always hang out at my apartment? You might need a disguise but I doubt that'll be hard to do."

"Not at all. A disguise that will fool my brother is quite simple to accomplish. Very well. I shall await you to finish your midgardian education at your apartment."
"School will let out in a few hours. If you get bored, you can always play the xbox or legos. I have some books you might like if you'd rather read instead. If you get hungry, there's snacks and drinks in the kitchen."

"Thank you, child of spiders."

"No problem Mr. Loki! I'll see you after school!" Peter said happily before hanging up. The movie was resumed, not that the other students realized it had stopped. Peter did have to calm Ned down from a fanboy attack, but other than that school was over quickly.

Peter didn't make any stops on his way home, too eager to hang out with Loki. He did have a hard time suppressing his laughter at the sight that greeted him though. Loki was sitting on the floor, legos scattered around him. It looked like he was building a horse, except the horse had eight legs instead of the normal four. When Peter asked, Loki explained that it was his son, Sleipnir. Peter didn't even try to hold back his coo's.

The duo spent the rest of the evening hanging out and planning how they were going to hide Loki from Thor. Aunt May was a little surprised to find a literal God on her couch when she came home from work, but she recovered quickly after Peter explained things. She even suggested a few ideas of her own that had Loki nodding in approval.

Alrighty! Here's the next chapter! I was actually really surprised when I looked back and saw that this fic was already halfway finished. This chapter brings us to number 16 out of the original 28 chapters I needed to rewrite for Itsy Bitsy Spider. Who knew phone calls would be so fun to write? Thor is next for this fic, so I hope everyone looks forward to that.
