Prompt: WHERE IS LOKI?!
The grand plan to hide Loki from Thor ended up being fairly simple. Loki would use his illusions to disguise himself and would go to school with Peter for the day. Peter thought it was a good idea, since it would allow him to keep an eye on Loki and hopefully keep the God from getting bored. The only problem was Loki's disguise. It wasn't an actual problem per say, but it certainly made Peter want to hide from embarrassment.
"Mr. Loki, did you really have to tell everyone that you're my girlfriend?" Peter whispered, face brighter than a tomato. He could hear all the other students' reactions to his "super cute and totally out of his league" girlfriend and it was driving him insane. Loki only shrugged.
"It was the most logical excuse I could have used," he (she?) said, tucking a strand of honey brown hair behind her ear. Loki's disguise was of a fifteen year old girl. Shoulder length brown hair, bright green eyes, and freckles creating a bridge across her nose. She also happened to be Peter's girlfriend, who was visiting and wanted to see what it was like at Peter's school since she attended an all girl's private school.
"At least drop the act around Ned and MJ," Peter begged. Loki smirked, knowing exactly why Peter was requesting such a thing. He didn't want anybody to flirt with him period, but since that was unavoidable in his current situation, the least he could do is have Loki not flirt with him in front of his crush. All of them knew it was faked, but the thought still made Peter uncomfortable.
"Pay up losers," MJ said smugly when Peter's phone rang during lunch time. She had bet Thor would call during lunch while Peter had bet during their science class. Ned had optimistically said they would make it through the day before he called. Obviously they forgot the Golden Rule. Never bet against MJ.
"WHERE IS LOKI?!" Thor shouted into the phone. Peter winced. Thor plus super hearing was already a bad combination. If he had placed the call on speaker like he normally did, Peter would have been deafened.
"Sorry Mr. Thor. I don't know. Maybe he's in Central Park?" Peter suggested, trying to stay calm. It was taking every ounce of self control in his body not to immediately hang up the phone. But that would make him appear guilty, and that's exactly what they didn't want right now.
"I SHALL SEARCH THERE AT ONCE!" Thor shouted once more before hanging up abruptly. Peter released the breath he was holding and put his phone away.
"I can't believed that worked," Ned said, amazed. Loki rolled his (her?) eyes.
"My brother is a simple fool. It makes it easy to betray him," Loki replied.
"Lokiā¦no. You're doing so much better than before," Peter said softly, holding up a hand in protest. Loki stared at him for a minute before sighing.
"Fine," Loki said, reaching over to steal one of Peter's french fries.
Whoop! Done! And I still have time to work on typing my next chapter, although I don't think I'll be able to finish it before I have to leave. Luckily, today is a sunday so the theater closes early and I can try to post it tonight when I get home. Maybe even a few other chapters, if I'm able to be productive and type up my chapters while at work. Perks of being the arcade person. I don't have to do a lot until people come up to me.
I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter! Please Review, Follow, and Favorite! I'll see you all on the next update!
