summary/A/N
Ben still gets the Omnitrix, but some aliens are replaced with others that Ben unlocks during the summer and future also this first chapter is probably cringe, but next chapter will not be as cringe I hope
disclaimer I do not own ben 10 and there might be some violence and blood in later chapters and this chapter has been redone
the screen shows A massive brown ship is attacking a much smaller teal ship, somewhere in outer space as the screen zooms into the bigger ship
"Hull damage: 20 percent, weapons systems still operational." a robot drone said
"I have come too far to be denied. The Omnitrix shall be mine, and there is not a being in the galaxy that dares stand in my way!" Vilgax said with his raspy voice
meanwhile on earth the screen zooms into a school to a 10-year-old boy named Benjamin Kirby Tennyson also known as Ben
Ben was making a paper airplane as he looked around for a moment to see if anyone's looking when he saw that he was in the clear he threw the paper plane at his longtime bully Cash. It was seemingly going to hit him until it suddenly veered to the left and hit his teacher in the back of the head. The teacher gasp as she looks back at Ben who was poorly pretending to read his book, smooshing his face in between the pages.
15 minutes later the clock was ticking as Ben is waiting for the bell to ring
"And I just want to remind you all that I will be teaching summer school this year, and it's not too late to sign up!" the teacher said
"Yeah, right." Ben muttered to himself as the bell ring
"Everyone, have a good vacation, and I hope to see you all again in the fall." the teacher said as everyone hurried to get out so they can enjoy their summer. As Ben was about to leave "Benjamin, could I have a word with you before you go?" the teacher asked as she holds up Ben's paper airplane. Ben huffs and walks over to the teacher's desk
meanwhile outside Cash and J.T were backing a kid up to a tree
"Normally, we'd take your money and beat you up. But since it's the last day of school, we're going to give you a break. Now fork over the cash, so we can get out of here" Cash said as he and J.T got closer
"Leave him alone!" Ben yelled as the three looked at him
"Get lost, shrimp." J.T said
"I said, back off!" Ben said narrowing his eyes
"Oh, looks like we got us a hero. Suppose we don't wanna back off?" Cash said
"Yea What are ya gonna do about it, Tennyson?" J.T asked as the three stare intently then Ben runs towards them triumphantly
Ben and Jamie hung up on a tree branch by their underwear, as a squirrel squeaks and scarpers off
"Thanks a lot." the boy said sarcastically
"I was just trying to help." Ben said annoyed
"Next time you wanna play hero, make sure you can back it up." the boy said as an RV drives and parks Infront of them
"Come on, Ben, let's go! We're burning daylight. I wanna to make it to the campsite by nightfall." Max said
"Uh, Grandpa? A little help here?" Ben asked
a couple minutes later Ben gets in the Rust Bucket
"I have so been looking forward to this!" Ben said as he noticed someone sitting at the table
"What are you doing here?" Ben asked as he turned to Max "What is she doing here?" Ben asked his grandpa
"Take it easy, dweeb. This wasn't my idea. Somebody convinced my mom that going camping for the summer would be a good experience for me." Gwen said
"Grandpa, please. Tell me you didn't." Ben said
"I thought it would be fun if your cousin came along with us this summer. Is... that a problem?" Max asked
Ben and Gwen say nothing but look at one another as the Rust Bucket pulls away from stop
" Aw, I can't believe it. I wait all school year to go on this trip, and now the queen of cooties is along for the ride." Ben said
"Hey! I had my own vacation already all planned out too, you know?" Gwen said as she pulls out her schedule "Each activity is color-coded, so I never do the same thing two days in a row." Gwen said almost like a lecture as Ben was surprised
"Now, I'm stuck with my geekazoid cousin going camping for three months." Gwen said
"Geek." Ben said
"Jerk." Gwen said back
"Something tells me it's gonna be a long summer." Max muttered to himself as the Rust Bucket left Bellwood
Later in the day, the trio of Tennysons gathered in the woods around a table-bench as Max brought out a bowl of food to the kids
"Chow time!" Max said as he plops down a bowl of still-wriggling worms, to Ben and Gwen's disgust
"Okay, I give up. What- is that?" Ben asked
"Marinated mealworms hard to find them fresh in the States. You know, they're considered a delicacy in some countries?" Max said as Ben and Gwen had disgusted looks
"And totally gross in others?" Gwen muttered as one of the worms falls out the bowl and crawls on the table
"If these don't sound good, I've got some smoked sheep's tongue in the fridge?" Max asked
"Urgh. Couldn't we just have a burger or something?" Ben asked as he and Gwen smiled at Max
"Nonsense. This summer's gonna be an adventure for your taste buds. I'll grab the tongue." Max said as he went in the Rust Bucket
"Okay, I got a bag of corn chips a water bottle and some leftovers from lunch in my backpack. What about you?" Ben whispered to Gwen
"Some rice cakes and some snacks my dad wanted me to take." Gwen whispered back
"Think we can make them last the whole summer?" Ben asked as the two sulk together
meanwhile in space closer to earth Vilgax's ship continues attacking the other, blasting lasers into the hull of it
"Their propulsion systems have been destroyed." one of Vilgax's drones said
"Prepare to board! I want the Omnitrix, now!" Vigax ordered
The ship getting chased primes a laser blast and fires, directly hitting Vilgax's control room, blasting him across. But immediately after the warship retaliates, blasting the ship to pieces. Out of those pieces, a small pod ejects down into Earth's atmosphere
Ben and Gwen sitting. Ben is playing his handheld videogame while Gwen is typing away at her laptop
"Who wants to roast marshmallows?" Max asked as he got no response
"Okay, um… How 'bout we tell scary stories?" Max asked
"Scarier than having to spend a summer with your freak of a cousin?" Ben said with a laugh
"I'd like to, Grandpa, but I'm busy doing a web search on cures for 'extreme doofus-ness'. Nothing yet, Ben, but let's not give up hope!" Gwen said
"Aww, come on you two. We're all in this together. You can mope around like this all summer, or we can have some fun. Now whadd'ya say?" Max asked
"I vote for moping." Gwen said
"I'm gonna take a walk." Ben said as he got up and chose a random direction to walk in
"Aw, man. This is gonna be the worst vacation ever. I might as well have gone to summer school." Ben said as he kicks a rock on the ground as he looks up at the sky and sees a shooting star
"Whoa! A shooting star I wonder where it's going?" Ben said as the shooting star suddenly switch directions towards him as he jumped to the side dodging the shooting star as it crashed down on the ground
ben looked in the crater and accidently fell in
"W-wow!" Ben said as he stumbled when he landed on his feet as he looked at the meteor and saw it was some kind of pod as it opened up revealing a watch
"Huh? What's a watch doing in space?" Ben asked himself as he reached out to grab it with his left hand as it suddenly leaps from the pod and onto his wrist, latching itself to Ben
"Ahh! Get off me! Get off, get off!" Ben yelled as he started to try and pull the watch off
a couple minutes later of Ben trying to get it off he saw a button on the watch and pressed it as the dial popped up
"Wow!" Ben said as he looked around for a minute as then looked at the silhouette
"Cool!" Ben said as he pressed the dial down as a green flash happened
red rocks crawl up his body from his arm
"Aaaaahhhhhhh!" Heatblast yelled as he started running in circles
"Im on fire! Im on fire!" Heatblast screamed as he finally noticed
"Hey... I'm on fire... and. I'm okay... Check it out. I'm totally hot." Heatblast said as he snickered at his own joke
Ben turns to see a tree behind him that he can practice his new abilities on.
"Oh yeah, uh-huh. Here goes!" Ben said as he got ready by Slinging his wrist, as he shoots a fireball out of his hand, blowing a branch off the tree entirely
"That's what I'm talking about." Heatblast said as Between his hands, he creates a larger fireball as he slings the fireball, unexpectedly through three trees instead of one, causing a fog of smoke around him
his smile drops as he sees the fire created by him spreading to other trees
"Wait! Stop! ... Uh-oh." Heatblast said as he runs to the fire, and tries stomping out a flame with his fiery feet, only for it to erupt into a larger one
"Oh man, I am gonna get so busted for this." Heatblast said
meanwhile Max was sitting by a campfire outside the Rust Bucket, as Gwen walks out, seeing the smoke from Ben's escapades in the distance
"Uh Grandpa I think you should see this." Gwen said as she pointed towards a cloud of smoke in the sky
"Looks like the start of a forest fire. We better let the Rangers' Station know. Probably some darn fool camper out there, messing around with something they shouldn't." Max said as he got up and realization came to him and Gwen
"Ben!" both Max and Gwen said as Max quickly opens a camping-kit and grabs two fire-extinguishers, passing one to Gwen
"Be careful out there Gwen." Max said as Gwen nodded as they went into the forest and split up1
Heatblast is continuing trying to put out the fire, unsuccessfully
"This would be so cool, if it weren't so not cool" Heatblast said
Gwen was putting out fires by spraying the extinguisher. Up until she shoots it at Heatblast's back, causing him to turn around to look at her
"Aaaahhhhhh" gwen screams
"Look, I know I look weird, but there's no reason to be scared-" Heatblast was about to continue but Gwen clobbers Heatblast round the head with the extinguisher, knocking him down. When he tries to get up, Gwen sprays him, knocking out the flames surrounding his rock-like head for a brief moment
"Hey! cough" Heatblast said
"I don't know what you are- but you'll stay down there if you know what's good for you!" Gwen said while pointing the fire extinguisher at him
Heatblast annoyed gestures to Gwen's shoe, setting a small flame on it with a chuckle
"Ow!" Gwen said as she started hopping on one foot until she extinguishes the small flame "I warned you!" Gwen said as she raised the extinguisher above her head
"Don't even think about it, freak!" Heatblast said as Gwen paused for a moment
"...Ben? Is that you? What happened?" Gwen asked
"Well, when I was walking, I was almost hit by a shooting star only it wasn't it was this cool watch thingy ghat jumped on my wrist and when I pressed a button on it the dial popped up and when I pushed it down, I was on fire only It didn't hurt when I accidently started this mega forest fire." Heatblast said as suddenly they heard Maxs voice
" Gwen, are you alri- What in blazes?" Max said as he saw Heatblast
"Hey, Grandpa, guess who?" Gwen said as Heatblast started waving
"It's me, Grandpa!" Heatblast said
"Ben? What happened to you?" Max asked
"Well-" Heatblast was about to repeat himself as Gwen interupts him
"Erm, excuse me? Major forest fire burning out of control, remember?" Gwen said
"What do we do?" Heatblast said as Max has his hand on his chin
"Backfire. Start a new fire and let it burn into the old fire. They'll snuff each other out. Think you can do it, Ben?" Max asked as Heatblast grinned and nodded as all three separated as Heatblast finds trees some distance away, then shoots them with a blast of fire, causing a new blaze
5 minutes later
Up above the Earth, Vilgax's ship has a damaged bridge, and an incredibly mutilated Vilgax is in a stasis tank
"What do you mean it's not there? This battle nearly costs me my life! And you say the Omnitrix is no longer on board the transport?" Vilgax yelled at his robot
"Sensors indicate a probe was jettisoned from the ship, just before boarding. It landed on the planet below." the robot drone said
"Go. Bring it to me." Vilgax ordered another robot drone
The drone, enshrouded in darkness, walks off
back on earth the trio where eating marshmallows by the fire, Heatblast having just explained to Max
"And you say that this watch just jumped up and clamped onto your wrist?" Max asked
"Hey, this time it wasn't my fault," Heatblast said as he caught a marshmallow in his mouth that Gwen threw and starts chewing
"I swear!" Heatblast said
"I believe you, Ben." Max reassured him
"Think he's gonna stay a monster forever?" Gwen asked
"He's not a monster. He's an alien." Max said as Heatblast and Gwen stare at him inquisitively "I-I mean, look at him. What else could he be?" Max said
"Yeah, I don't wanna be 'fire guy' forever. How am I supposed to play Little League this fall if I charcoal the ball every time, I catch a pop fly?" Heatblast said
"Don't worry, Ben. We'll figure this thing out." Max said as they heard a beeping sound as they looked at Heatblast chest and saw the symbol beeping and flashing red as a red light happened as Max and Gwen shielded their eyes
"Hah! I'm me again!" Ben said as he looked himself over
"Aw, too bad. I liked you better when you were a briquette." Gwen said as Ben went back to trying to rip the watch off
"I still can't get this thing off." Ben said still trying
"Better not fool with it anymore until we know exactly what we're dealing with. I'll go check out that crash site. You guys stay here until I get back" Max said as he walked of to where Ben said he found the pod
up in space A pod shoots from Vilgax's ship above orbit, landing deep in the woods, next to the Omnitrix's pod. Revealing itself as a gigantic robot drone, it scans and promptly disintegrates the pod in the crash site, and ejects smaller flying drones from its shoulders to go find the watch
meanwhile Ben is fiddling with the watch as he presses a button on the watch and turns the dial
"Hmm... I wonder what this does." Ben said as he was about to press the dial down
"Caught ya!" Gwen said as she laughed
"Haha. Very funny. Like your face." Ben said
"Grandpa said not to mess with that thing" Gwen said
"Yeah? So, what's your point?" Ben asked as he turned the dial a couple times
"Did your parents drop you when you were a baby?" Gwen asked
"Come on. You can't tell me you aren't a little bit curious what else this thing can do?" Ben asked
"Not in the least." Gwen said
"You sure you're related to me?" Ben asked
meanwhile Max is observing the crash site
"I don't like this one little bit." Max said as he saw metal pieces scattered around
"Look I know you probably don't understand but if I can figure this thing out, maybe I can help people. I mean, really help them. Not just, you know, make things worse." Ben said to Gwen
"So, what did it feel like going all alien like that?" Gwen asked
"It freaked me out at first. It was like I was me, but it was also like I was somebody else." Ben said as he grinned
"Should I try it again?" Ben asked
"I wouldn't." Gwen said
"No duh" Ben said as he pressed the dial down as a green light happened
vines went up his body as a venous fly trap closed around his head as it opened up revealing a dark blue eye and two more on his shoulders
"Wow. What does this one do?" Wildvine asked
"What are you some kind of plant creature or something?" Gwen asked
"Don't know but let's see." Wildvine said with a grin as he extended his arm to tree branch as he retracted his arm making him go to the tree as he started swing from tree to tree
"Get back here! Ben! I'm gonna tell Grandpa that you turned into some freaky plant thing and went swinging around the forest when he told you not to!" Gwen yelled as she realized what she just said "Oh, this is a majorly weird day." Gwen said
Wildvine was swinging from tree to tree when he caught a glimpse of something flying behind him as he used his momentum to swing up dodging a laser blast as he swung back and landed on the robot drone that attacked him as he used his vine legs to tear into the drone and rip it apart as he jumped off of it and landed on the ground as the drone crashed down and exploded as Wildvine heard a beeping sound as he looked at his chest and saw the symbol blanking red as a red flash happened as Ben looked at the fallen drone
"Yes" Ben said as he hears a sound behind him as he turned around and saw another robot drone
"Oh no, not good" Ben said as Gwen suddenly comes behind the drone and hits it with a shovel
"Ugh! Back off Sparky! No flying tree-trimmer is going to hurt my cousin!" Gwen yelled at the drone as she hit the drone a couple more times
"Never thought I'd say this, but am I glad to see you." Ben said as the drones starts sparking. Ben and Gwen run away before it explodes
Ben and Gwen where walking into the clearing as they saw Max standing there
a couple minutes later. The trio of Tennysons are sitting in the RV as Max scolds Ben
"I was worried that you might get popular with that thing on your wrist. That's why I asked you not to fool around with it until we know what the heck it is." Max said
"Sorry, Grandpa... But at least I figured out how to make it work. All you do is press this button. Then, when the ring pops up, just twist it until you see the guy you wanna be. press it down, and bammo! You're one of ten super-cool alien dudes!" Ben said
"What about staying a super-cool alien dude and not transforming back into plain old pizza-face?" Gwen asked
"I- kinda haven't figured that part out yet." Ben said
"With a device as powerful as that watch clamped on you, my guess is we better help you learn, fast." Max said
"All right!" Ben says as he punches the air with a fist as suddenly hears a man's voice comes from the radio " Mayday! Mayday! Somebody help us! We're under attack by some sort of - I know you're not going to believe me, but… robot!" the man said as the radio goes quite
"Sounds just like those things that attacked me. Must be looking for the watch. Those people are in trouble because of me! I think I can help them." Ben said
"Er, you? What are you gonna do about it?" Gwen asked as Ben looks at the watch and smirks
Ben, Gwen, and Max all go into the woods for Ben's transformation. The Omnitrix beeps and lights up in standby. Ben looks to Max, who nods in approval as Ben activates the Omnitrix and choses an alien as he slams his hand down on the dial
crystals climb up his arm and on to his body as crystal spikes grow from his back as he closed his eyes and reopped them to show they were yellow
"So, what can this guy do?" Gwen asked
"I don't know." Diamondhead said in a deep voice "but I bet it's gonna be cool." Diamondhead said as he the trio arrive to see Vilgax's gigantic robot drone attacking a campsite full of RVs and people screaming
"Looks like papa-robot this time I'll get Gearhead's attention; you guys get the campers to safety." Diamondhead said as Max and Gwen run off. Diamondhead's eyes glow, and he runs towards the giant robot as it grabs the Park Ranger, as he's helping one of the campers left behind, with the others running off screaming
"Leave him alone! You want somebody to pick on? Try me." Diamondhead said as the robot has scanned him and sees the Omnitrix
The robot drops the Park Ranger and blasts Diamondhead away. He lands in an RV, which the robot also immediately blows up. Diamondhead is underneath it, but manages to cut himself out with his now turned to blade arm
"Cool." Diamondhead said as he examines his arm and produces tiny spikes from it
The robot starts walking towards Diamondhead. Diamondhead's eyes glow and he decides to test out his new blade arm and attack with it. The robot jumps in the air to avoid it, spinning its three legs and falling down on to Diamondhead who is now trapped underneath
"Uh-oh. I think I'm in trouble." Diamondhead said as Max and Gwen save the ranger
"What is going on here?" the ranger asked they hear screaming civilians and fire all around them
"You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you. Now come on." Gwen said as the ranger hesitates as Gwen and Max run off, but runs once the giant robot throws Diamondhead into his truck, just barely missing him
as Diamondhead is dodging various laser blasts a stray one hits a tree, causing it to fall down exactly where Gwen is standing. Gwen stands, wide eyed, as the tree before her splits perfectly in two and falls to her sides. Diamondhead is in front of her, having grown a mountain of spikes out of his back to cut it
"So, we even?" Diamondhead asked as his spikes are retracting
"Even." Gwen said with a nod as the robot suddenly grabs his entire body with one hand "Uh oh." Diamondhead said the robot lifts Diamondhead up and grabs his left arm, where the Omnitrix would've been on Ben, with its other hand. Diamondhead struggles and destroys its hand with spikes, so the robot simply shoots Diamondhead away with the other hand as he lands in a building "Ben!" Max yelled
Diamondhead gets up and tries using his arms to block the next blast. He does momentarily, as the laser reflects off his arms, sending split beams to fly in all directions. However, Diamondhead can't hold it and is pushed back but now, on the ground, he gets an idea
Getting up as the robot approaches "C'mon! Burn one in here!" Diamondhead said as he points to his chest, goading the robot into readying another shot
the next shot fires and Diamondhead holds his palms up to it. He is still pushed back by it a little, but he's now gotten the hang of reflecting the robot's lasers
"What comes around, goes around. Let's see how you like it, ya techno freak!" Diamondhead said as he cuts the giant robot in half with the reflected laser blast, destroying it
"All right!" Both Max and Gwen shouted
"Way to go, Be-" Max was about to say as the saved campers stare at the two "...um - Diamond-headed guy!" Max said
"Oh yeah!" Diamondhead said with a jump as Gwen and Max silently try to wave at him to make him notice the people, then shake their heads in embarrassment when he does
"Well, I… think my work here is done." Diamondhead said trying to not embarrass himself as he runs off
"Who was that guy?" a random camper said as Gwen and Max quietly tiptoe away
meanwhile on Vilgax's ship is being repaired by drones as Vigax is informed on what happened to his drone that went to earth
"Failure?! Unbelievable! The puny Earth being that is keeping the Omnitrix from me- will soon hang on my trophy wall." Vilgax said
back on earth Gwen and Max are packing up
"Where's Ben?" Max asked Gwen who shrugged
"I haven't seen him since breakfast" Gwen said as Max hears a distant sonic boom, before its source immediately arrives in front of him and Gwen
"Ben?" Max asked
"Yep. -Hey, check this out!" Xlr8 says as he uses super-speed to break camp and pack the baggage in record time "Pretty fast right?" Xlr8 said as as they heard a beeping sound as a red flash happened as Ben was now there
"I think this is gonna be the best summer ever." ben said
and thats done now this was a redo of chapter 1 so I hope this was better than the first and here's the known aliens
