chapter 2 Washington BC
A/N
I'm going to be honest I'm not to motivated to do this story, but I figured I should do a couple chapters to see how people like it and ben will be smarter in this story not too much but a little bit so enjoy this chapter and leave a review if you want and I will do mini A/N in the story to explain somethings or say where I got something from or to explain something in the story
and also, I don't know how warnings really work so warning blood in this chapter and disclaimer i do not own Ben 10
The screen zoomed into a burning building where a bit of the building was about to fall on top of a mother and her son as the mother hugged her son to her to try and comfort him as they close their eyes, but they didn't feel any pain as they looked up and saw a fire creature keeping the building pieces from falling on top of them and then fire creature threw the pieces to the side and absorbed some of the fire in the door way
"Follow me!" the fire creature while going towards the doorway as the mother son duo followed 'it' the did so a bit reluctant as the creature said, "Quick down the stairs!" as only a second past the stairs then collapsed and the fire creature saw a window and blasted it with a fire beam to cut a hole into it as the carved out peace fell to the ground outside as a fire like tornado came out of the hole and revealed the fire creature and the mother son on the ground safely as the fire creature started talking "No need to thank me it's all in a day's work." the creature then saw the boy he save pull out sumo slammer cards as he saw a golden card
"Wow where did you get those?" the creature asked as he crouched down to be on the kid's eye level
"I um got them from a box of sumo slammers cereal." the kid said a bit confused as the onlookers were also a bit confused from the creature's actions
"Hey doofus the fire was a distraction for a robbery!" shouted Gwen from the Rust Bucket the creature now known as Ben or Heatblast ran to the rv and decided to jump on the top of the Rust Bucket, so he won't accidently burn something if he sat down or touched something flammable
the rv drove off towards an armored truck that was stolen full of money Heatblast then threw a fire ball at one of the trucks tires as it exploded it sending the truck out of control into a wall as Heatblast thought as he jumped off the roof 'ok watch i know it's almost time to transform back but please just give 3 minutes to arrest
these guys so they won't try to fight back' the Omnitrix seemed to shine a bit after he thought that but no one noticed it
as Heatblast got closer to the truck he ripped to door open "Get out and put your hands on the wall now!" Heatblast said with a glare as the scared robbers got out and went to the wall with their hands up Heatblast looked around for a minute to see if he could use anything to tie them up but couldn't find anything, so he decided to just hit them on the back of the head with the door he ripped off so the police can get them as he finished knocking them out, he heard police sirens coming this way he then ran into a nearby ally and sighed as he started hitting the watch symbol on his chest "Come on watch transform me back to normal." he said as when he got tired of hitting it he just press his hand to it as a bright flash of red accord surprising him since it didn't beep
"Wow I didn't know I could do that if I just tapped the watch?" Ben said while walking out of the ally towards the Rust Bucket which was parked a bit away from the crime scene, he opened the door and walked in and sat down on the opposite side from Gwen "Hey Grandpa I learned something new about the watch." Ben said with a smug grin on "Oh and what's that kiddo?" Max asked
"If I just tap the watches symbol when I'm an alien I can turn back to normal." Ben said
"Well, that should help you if you need to transform back after a battle." Max said
"Hey grandpa were almost out of food." Gwen said while looking in the fridge
"Hm that's strange I thought I bought some sheep's tongue meal worms and some octopus?" Max said while looking in the fridge
"Um no were all out I heard there's a mega mart nearby maybe we can go there?" Gwen said looking hopeful as Max sighed "I guess since there's no other places, I heard they have canned octopus." Max said while putting his hand on his chin while looking up a bit
meanwhile in an apartment somewhere
"Animo open up!" said a voice as the doorknob shook a bit before the door opened revealing a somewhat short and fat middle-aged man, he is partially bald and only has brown hair on the side of his head he wears a brown suit and has wrinkles of his forehead he has a tie which is a little more reddish than his suit his eyes are black (mini A/N I got this from the wiki) he walked in the apartment and saw lots of animals in cages as someone came behind him
"How did you get in here!" said a man's voice
"Spare key I'm your landlord but you may have forgotten since you rent is 6 months late so horse up the green Animo." the landlord said while turning around to face the man
"Horse up the green what an odd way to phrase you must be an animal lover then you'll love this." the man now known as Animo said while putting something on his head and torso as he looked at the landlord again
the landlord looked at him and bursted out laughing at what he put on "what is that supposed to be?" the landlord asked
"This is my transmodulator it allows me to mutate DNA but I'll give you a demonstration." Animo said as he activated his device and shot a beam at a frog as it grew bigger and mutated as it stuck it tongue out and grabbed the landlord and pulled him in
"Do you have a frog up your throat or is it the other way around." Animo said while laughing as the frog spat the landlord out "Now I only need a few more parts to complete transmodulator." Animo said while thinking as the tv caught his attention as it was talking about a mega mart as Animo smirked and cackled
a bit more then 30 minutes later
Ben Gwen and Max were walking around the mega mart
"Hm this store only has 1 type of canned octopus I thought this store was supposed to have verity." Max said while looking at the canned octopus
"Uhm Grandpa can we eat something normal for a change?" Gwen asked
"Nonsense this summer has barley started I'm giving you kid's tastebuds on an adventure this summer." Max said while smiling
meanwhile with Ben as Max and Gwen were talking
Ben was looking around the cereale aisle of the store closes to them as he looked at a box of sumo cereale and sees it says every box comes with a sumo slammer card and Ben grinned at that and got an idea as he made sure no one saw him as he went in the aisle and activated the Omnitrix's and scrolled through it a bit before selecting one and decided to push the dial down instead of slapping it so the sound hopefully won't be too loud and attract attention luckily for him the sound of transforming did beep quieter but the flash did not change at all
Bens body shrink as his skin turned grey as his head expanded a bit as he was wearing a white body suit with a black stripe went down his back and front as the Omnitrix was on his back as he structs a pose as the transformation finished
meanwhile a bit before with Gwen
Gwen was looking around the store and saw a green flash
"Ben!" She thought with an angry look on her face knowing that he did something dumb and her and grandpa would have to pay for it
a bit later
"So, tell me why we're buying all this cereale?" Max asked
"Well, if Gwen didn't stop me, we would only have to buy the box I found the gold sumo slammers card in." Ben said with an angry look on his face
"Hey doofus what do you think they would've done with the other cereale that we wouldn't buy?" Gwen said with a scowl
"I don't know close the boxes up or repackage them?" Ben said with a confused look
"Uh you doofus they would waist the food by throwing it out and probole only save some of it just for a stupid card!" Gwen said getting furious
Max decided to stop the fight before it could proceed " now Gwen I'm sure if Ben knew that he wouldn't have done it."
Ben and Gwen huffed as they both crossed their arms and turned away from each other
Ben then saw a collection of sumo slammer cards "One day you'll be mine." Ben said with some drool coming out of his mouth
"Hey Gwen, why don't we check out the pet department." Max said as he and Gwen walked to the pet area
"Please tell me that were you're not going to be feeding us any of them?" Gwen asked pleadingly as they continued walking
Ben then heard a crash and looked to his left and saw a giant mutant frog and saw a man on top as he got down from it and started to grab things from a tech area with computer components and other electronics components
"Wow!" Ben said as he ran towards the guy "Hey what are you doing?" Ben asked
"Don't be a hero kid go and play." Animo said as the mutant frog shots tongue out into boxes as they fell on top of Ben as the boxes landed on him he looked at the watch to see it still in the red "Come on I detransformed like 3 minutes early shouldn't you be recharged by now!" he said with a groan
meanwhile outside of the boxes
Animo was walking back to his mutant frog
"Freeze!" said guard 1
"Get down off thar giant...frog with your hands up." said guard 2
Animo just ignored them as he got on his mutant frog as it jumps away towards the pet area
"We go a grab and dash in electronics male 5'6 riding a giant frog or toad trust me you can't miss him." said guard 1 into his walkie talkie
Gwen and max where in the pet area Gwen was playing with a hamster as Animo and his mutant frog jumped in the area as Animo shot a beam from his helmet at a hamster and a Cockatiel bird as they grew large and mutated "Fell your potential my pets!" Animo said as the hamster chased after Gwen and Max
meanwhile Ben was pushing the boxes off of himself as he started heading towards the area, he heard screaming as he got there he saw Animo on his mutant frog and a mutant bird nearby to him as he looked left and saw Gwen and Max running from a mutant hamster Ben saw a scoter nearby as he got an idea and grinned
as the mutant hamster was chasing after Max and Gwen, something hit it in the face from the side "Hey furball you ok." Ben said in a mocking tone as the mutant hamster snarled at him as Ben started going forward on the scoter the mutant hamster started chasing him Ben noticed the watch was green and grinned as he steered with his left hand as he used his other hand to activate the watch as he pressed it down without even looking at what he picked as a green flash appeared Bens skin turned black as green circuit like lines grew on his body as his chest was white as his shoulders arms back and legs where black with circuit like patterns on him and his head was black as the circuit pattern made a circle which was his eye
as Ben took a moment to look at his hands, he grinned which was hard to tell since he had no mouth as he merged with the electric scoter and upgraded the handles into something similar to a turret and shot the mutant hamster but it barley left a mark since Upgrade could not upgrade the scoter as much as he would like since it's still a scoter as ben stops the turret fire since it did nothing as he sunk the scoters handle and handlebar into its self as he made the handles into mini boosters on the back of the scoter and made a tiny gun from the handlebar bar and shot high speed medal bars at the hamster it seemed to do nothing at first but when it hit its foot it tripped a bit slamming into a couple of shelfs knocking them down "Oh ya who's the best super hero around!" Upgrade said with a robotic voice a bit deeper than his normal voice (mini A/N yes, I'm making his voice a bit deeper cuz I would like his identity to be secret but its only Bens voice robotic like but deeper so I hope no one minds)
Upgrade then put the scoter back to normal as he used his liquid medal like body to grab the pieces he shot at the mutant hamster when he was finished which it only took like 3 minutes to do, he turned himself into a puddle and went somewhere private to transform back
meanwhile with Gwen and Max
"Behold the brilliance of Dr Animo nothing can stop me from getting what I deserve mark my words today I will make history or prehistory." Dr Animo said to the people in the Mega Mart" and I will make Washington DC into Washington BC." Dr Animo said while his mutant frog jumped off with him on top as the mutant bird followed its master
Ben was running towards Gwen and Max as Dr Animo and his mutants were leaving
"Come on kids we got to follow them." Max said as Ben and Gwen followed him towards the Rust Bucket
"Ah just like the days before I retired." Max said
"Exactly what type of plumber where you?" Gwen asked
"Um a darn good one." Max said as he tried to change the conversation but luckily Gwen gasped
"I found something about Dr Animo." Gwen said
"Five years ago, Dr. Animo was a promising researcher in veterinary science. But it turned out he was doing all these twisted genetic experiments where he was mutating animals, and when he didn't win some big prize called "The Verities Award", he flipped out." Gwen reeded out load as she finished tho Max lost view of the mutant bird
"We lost sight of the bird he could be anywhere in Washington DC." Max said
"Or Washington BC." Gwen added as Ben got an idea
"Hes heading to the Natural History Museum!" Ben said as Max turned the rv towards the museum
when they got to the museum, they saw a giant hole as they got out as Ben picked up a giant feather
"Something tells me where on the right track good work Ben." Max said
"Huh even a doofus can be right once in a while." Gwen said
as they walked in, they saw Dr Animo
"You are very persistent I hate persistent." Dr Animo said as he turned to them
"We all know about you and your freakazoid experiments Dr Animo its over! Ben said louder then he needed to
"Oh, but it's only just begun. See, I only needed a few components to push my work into phase two: the reanimation of dormant cells."
"Um does this guy come with subtitles?" Ben asked
"Hes going to bring back the dead doofus."
Dr Animo then shot a beam from his helmet at a mammoth statue bringing it to life as Dr Animo walked off
"Hey doofus now might be a good time to go hero!" Gwen said to Ben urgently
"No duh." Ben said while activating the watch picking an alien at random that looks strong "You guys go after Animo I'll take jumbo here." Ben said to Gwen and Max as they left, he slammed down the watch
his body turned black as his eyes merged into one and he grew a tail with a plug on its end as he grew antennae from his head that where as long as his tail almost as they also had plugs on, they as his fingertips also turned into plugs as his toes merged into two toe feet
"Wow what can this guy do?" Feedback said in a deep voice with what sounds like static electricity in his voice
as he put his hands up pointing his fingertips at the mammoth electricity flew out from them hitting the mammoth as it looked like it may have paralyzed the mammoth for a bit as its hair sticked up but after a second it started charging at Feedback as he then jumped out of the mammoth's path
"Ok let's see what else this guy can do." Feedback said as he jumped up then off of a wall and landed on a lamp
"W-wow this guy has some good acrobatics." Feedback said as he stabilized on the lamp he landed on
"Hmm this guy can shoot electricity, but can he absorb it?" Feedback said as he looked up at the wires showing as he grinned as he grabbed the wires and thought of absorbing the electricity at first nothing happened but after a couple seconds, he felt like he had enough power to run up the stairs on a skyscraper after a couple more seconds he stopped absorbing the electricity and looked at the mammoth who after it charge failed and it looked around and saw nothing it started destroying things to find him
"Hey ugly!" Feedback yelled at the mammoth to gets it attention
the mammoth looked up and saw Feedback but before it could move Feedback shot electricity in the mammoth's eyes making them bleed a little as the mammoth eyes where white as it was now blind knocking into everything around it
Feedback was watching the mammoth as he got an idea
"If I can absorb and shoot electricity maybe I can power things to Ill have try that later." Feedback said as then saw some exposed cables from a wall the mammoth broke as he grinned, he jumped down to the cables and absorbed some of the electricity as he then fired a mass amount of electricity at the mammoth leaving it smoking as it collapsed if it was dead or just unconscious Feedback didn't know but he didn't want to find out anyways as he ran 0down the hallway where Gwen Max and Animo went
flashback to when Max and Gwen where following Dr Animo
Gwen and Max where chasing after Dr Animo the mutant bird flew in front of them as Gwen saw a broom nearby as she grabbed it spined it around and hit the mutant bird in the jaw "Bens not the only one with skill." Gwen said with a smirk as they then went down the hallway they were in and saw Dr Animo
Dr Animo then smirked at them as he activated his transmodulator and turned to the T-rex in front of him and shot it with a blast as it was reanimated but deformed as it roared as Dr Animo got on its back as it broke through a wall "I'd love to stay but I need to claim the reward I so richly deserve." Dr Animo said as the T-rex ran off as the mutant bird came flying towards the hole in the wall from the hallway as it grabbed Gwen as it flew over them
"Gwen!" Max yelled as he ran out the hole in the wall as he saw the mutant bird flying away with Gwen "Ben we could really use your help right now!" Max shouted into the museum barley even 5 second later Feedback came out and he saw the mutant bird flying off with Gwen he jumped off of the museum to the mutant bird and used some electricity to get a boost up as he grabbed onto the mutant bird trying to make it go down, but he heard a beeping sound and looked at the symbol on his chest "Not now!" Feedback thought as he gritted his teeth, and an idea came in his head and without even thinking of the consequences that could happen he used one of his antennas and plugged it into the symbol to put some electricity in it to stay alien for a couple more seconds as it seemed to work since the watch stopped beeping
Feedback then sighed in relief as he started punching the mutant bird
"Hey doofus I'm still here!" Gwen yelled at Feedback
"Hopefully this works." Feedback thought as he shot electricity at the mutant bird's face as electricity went through its body knocking it out as it dropped Gwen who was still wearing her backpack luckily Feedback used his tail to grab Gwen's backpack which was still on Gwen as he pulled her up on top of the mutant bird using it to take most of the impact as Feedback and Gwen where on its back as it crashed on the ground making a crater on the ground
"Man, that hurt." Feedback said as he rubbed his head
"You're telling me couldn't you of stopped the mutant parrot without crash landing?" Gwen asked also rubbing her own head as she hit Feedback on the back of his head
"Would you rather be takin by a giant bird or be saved with a bumpy landing?" Feedback said while holding the bump on his head
"Ben Gwen are you two, ok?" Max yelled into the crater
"Yea where fine Grandpa despite the fact we could have died!" Gwen yelled back
Feedback pressed his hand against the watch transforming back to normal
Ben and Gwen then ran up to the top of the crater and saw Max in the Rust Bucket as they then got in
"Kids look at this I found it on the ground, and I think I know where Animo is going." Max said as he showed a paper to them as Maxs reads it "Dr. Kelly accepts Verities Award"
"Hes going to get his reward!" Gwen realized
"We got to stop him!" Ben said
they drove off
meanwhile
Dr Kelly is showing his VIPs his rewards
"And here is my Verities Award of course, it was an honor just to be nominated with a distinguished group of scientists." Dr Kelly said to the group
Dr Animo and his T-rex broke through a wall
"I believe you have something of mine." Dr Animo said as he jumped down from the T-rex and grabs the verities award "I'd like to thank the committee for this honor." Dr Animo said as the T-rex roared and went towards Kelly
meanwhile outside a rv was driving down a road towards the building the T-rex broke in
inside the rv Ben was looking through the watch trying to pick the right alien "Which one could beat a dinosaur?" Ben muttered as he scrolled through the aliens passing each one multiple times
"Hey doofus if you beat Animo then you beat the T-rex." Gwen said as Ben paused for a moment as he then turns the dial on the watch a bit before pushing the dial down transforming into
veins went up his arms as he closed his eyes as he opened them, they were yellow as his skin turned blue but he had what looked like black skintight outfit that stopped a bit below his shoders and a bit below his knees as he grew a tail with blue and black stripes, he had a helmet on as his feet turned into wheels he was

Xlr8 then ran out of the RV towards the building the T-rex broke into as he saw the T-rex was about to eat someone as he rushed in and grabbed the man and brought him to the hole in the wall, he then ran to the T-rex and kicked it in the face and sent it flying a few feet away also knocking it down but it only took a second or two for it to get back up
"You speed creature are ruining my plans." Dr Animo said angrily and intrigued by the creature
"The names Xlr8 and I can't let you and your mutants roam around the country and do who knows what." Xlr8 said in his raspy voice
"You think you can stop me?" Dr Animo said
"I don't think I can stop you I know I can stop you." Xlr8 said as he ran over to Dr Animo and hit him on his chest breaking his transmodulator and sending him into a wall as he hit his head
the next day
Dr Animo was being dragged to a police car "Let me go I deserve that award I've got it coming to me I want it!" Dr Animo shouted
Ben Gwen and Max were watching this from the Rust Bucket
"Well, that was fun and look at this trophy I got from Animo." Ben said as he held the now broken transmodulator
"You are such a doofus what can you even do with it?" Gwen said rhetorically
"Your right I can't do anything with it but." Ben said as he activated the watch and slammed his hand down on the dial
"Upgrade can." said a small and squeaky voice
the small creature then looked at itself
"Grey matter I wanted Upgrade stupid watch!" the now named Grey matter said
"Hm maybe I can work with this." Grey matter said as he jumped on to the chair and then the table
"Ben what are you doing?" Gwen asked
"Well, it seems when I'm Grey matter I get smarter, and it seems I can comprehend things more such as if I turn into an alien such as Upgrade when I meant to go a different form and there's no tech around for me to merge with, I could be in trouble if I can't transform back and then into a different form." Grey matter said as Gwen was a bit confused as Max was listening from the front seat but said nothing
"Maybe I can turn this into something Upgrade can use if there's no tech around?" Grey Matter said as he was thinking of what he should do with the transmodulator
"Grandpa do you have any old technology that you don't use any more that I can use?" Grey Matter asked
"Sorry Ben no can do." Max said
Grey Matter then started taking the transmodulator apart and used the parts to make a gun like turret that seems to be able to be mounted onto the watch and it seems to be able to retract the mount
the gun made from the transmodulator looked like one of the horns from the helmet was attached to its point where it shoots as the trigger was shaped like a normal gun trigger but seemed to have some buttons and switches as the back of the gun had the dial that Dr Animo had on his chest to activate the transmodulator
and that's the end of chapter 2 wow I somehow got this to almost 5000 words and this chapter seems a lot better than chapter 1 and will there be any consequences to what Feedback did and what will Bens new weapon do to help him and what's up with the watch and does the watch have its own conciseness or something else and we were introduced to some more of Bens aliens
