In the isolated island of Aeaea, a notorious witch leaned against a crib. The house she was residing, was occupied by different species of animals, all that were once humans. Inside the crib, slept a girl that was born a few days ago.

Weak, small, and fragile with white skin and a patch of dark brown hair on top of her head. She was unaware of the look her mother gave, being far from caring.

The Witch knew the kid held magic; she could feel it even at this stage of her life. Worse though, was the fact that her beauty was a danger to her in the nearby future since the men arriving on her island could pay attention to her daughter and not her.

As she eyed the baby, thinking if she should transform it now to save her future, a figure materialised not too far away from her—the black smoke wrapped around the body before it took solid matter.

It exposed a man with greyish skin and yellow eyes, sharp teeth and dressed in a dark grey chiton with smoke at the end. Instead of hair, bright blue flames existed on top of his head.

"Circe, my babe. Look at you, always beautiful even after birth" he said, giving a smile and opening his arms as he took a few steps closer.

The woman turned to face the God, a smile on her lips. "Hades, been a while since last you visited me. Did you miss me that much?" she asked.

The man chuckled, placing his slender fingers under her chin, and pulling her closer. "You know that. How can someone not miss you."

"Tell that to the others," she said, motioning for the many men that were currently her pet animals.

"They were fools if you ask me" he charmed and let her go, moving towards the crib. "So this is the little sucker, huh?"

He looked inside, the child sleeping peacefully without a care to the world.

"Unfortunately. Don't know what I will do with her" the woman replied, and the man grinned.

"Well, I happen to have a great offer for you, babe."

"I am listening."

The god of the underworld turned to face her. "You see...I have a plan which will take place in around *thinks* 19 years or so, and I need strong minions. Now, this little...thing...bears your bloodline and strong magic. How about, I take her from you in...16 years, give or take"

The woman crossed her arms in front of her chest; her loyal snake sceptre leaned against the crib. "And what do I win from this?"

"Well, you will get rid of her competition. Isn't this what you wanted?" the woman wasn't pleased with the offer and the god left out a sigh in defeat. "Okay, look. In exchange, I will give you this *conjures a vial in his fingers, a red liquid inside* This, is something special I...' borrowed' from Aphrodite. You spray yourself, and no man will be able to resist you, ever."

The woman eyed the vial, the offer tempting her a lot. She didn't care how the said God obtained the vial and didn't want to know either. This deal was beneficial since not only she would be irresistible, but she could also get rid of the competition.

If her daughter would end up being a powerful Witch, it meant she could spoil her plans if wanted. No, she couldn't have that.

"We have a deal then," she said.

"Yes!" Hades' flames light up as he did a small happy dance before bringing forward a contract and a skeleton pen. "Just sign your name darling" The witch grabbed the pen and signed the paper, the contract disappearing into black smoke. Hades tossed her the vial with a grin. "I will be back in 16 years."

Aeaea, 16 years later.

In the isolated island of Aeaea, a young maiden was laying on her red couch.

Barely passing the age of 16, she had dark brown curly hair that reached her waist and a slightly pinkish-white skin. Dressed in a red lose crop tunic, her cleavage and waist were visible and exposed to the humid air. Her skirt was a light red with the back reaching almost her ankles but very short at the front. On top of it, a darker red layer, matching her top and brown sandals.

Her light blue eyes were locked on the form of a squirrel, one of her mother's latest victims. With bored eyes, she had one finger pointed and moved it up and down, torturing the animal mid-air.

Her lips, covered by a magenta lipstick, were forming a pout as she tried to find something to pass the time. For 16 years, she had been trapped on the island and watched as her mother seduced men, slept with some, and then turned them into animals.

Somehow, this was how her father ended up. He came as a voyager, slept a few times with the witch and was about to flee when he found of the pregnancy. Circe turned him into the hare and sent her dogs to devour him alive.

So far for having a parental male figure in her life.

With a sigh, the woman stopped and held the animal mid-air. She wished she could travel or do something interesting, but her mother had strict rules that she couldn't break. She tried a few times, resulting in transforming her into an animal and locking her in a cage.

Not so happy times.

"Someone seems bored," a voice said and broke her concentration.

With a jump, she had rocketed herself of the couch and all the way across the room. The squirrel had landed on the floor and had fled, at first sight, leaving the young Witch alone with the stranger.

Hades stood behind the couch with his signature smirk.

"Who...who are you?" she asked, sensing the power within him and the magic.

"The name is Hades, the god of the Underworld," he said, walking towards her and offering his hand.

The girl blinked, never been in the presence of a god. Well, she had been but only with Hermes, and there was a big difference in well...everything when comparing the two gods. She shook his hand, little awkwardly.

"Uhm...Myrrhine..."

"Now let's look at you," he said, his fingers under her chin in a tight grip as he inspected her like some racehorse.

"Hey, hands off!" she said and pushed his chest, making him take a step back and releasing her. "What on Olympus do you think you are doing?"

"My, my, such temper. This could be a problem" he thought when the door to the room opened and a Circe that had not aged a day walked in.

"Hades! Was wondering when you would come. Thought you had forgotten our deal" the woman said.

"Oh please babe. I never forget deals. Especially as important as this one."

Myrrhine blinked and took a step forward. "What kind of deal are we talking about?" she asked, folding her hands in front of her chest.

"Oh, I see you haven't informed her," the god said and turned to the woman.

She shrugged her shoulders. "Didn't need a reason to. She is all yours."

"Hey, wait a minute!" the younger witch demanded. "What are you talking about?"

Hades turned and walked towards her, making her take a few steps back until she collided with the wall. Leaning above her form, the man looked into his eyes. "You see, babe, your mother and I made a deal. A little special vial from me in exchange for your soul" he snapped his fingers, showing the flying contract with the signature. "So in other words, from today...you work for me."

The girl looked from the contract to her mother to the God that was too close in her personal space. Once she realised, she ducked under the hand of the god and pointed the finger at her mother. "How could you... You, selfish, love-sick desperate old hag!" she shouted, narrowing her eyes as she tried to hold back tears.

It was known that her mother didn't exactly love her or cared much about her but selling her soul to the god of the underworld for her own personal gain...that was crossing the line.

Circe grew angry at the names, the sceptre glowing wit power. "Why you spoiled rotten cored brat! How dare you speak to me like that!"

"You sold my soul, without my consent so you can gain more beauty! You suck as a mother."

"Well, I didn't ask to be yours!"

"I didn't ask to be your daughter, either!"

The tension in the room grew thick, magic radiating from both women who were ready to attack each other in a violent fight until only one was standing. Hades watched in amusement, always enjoying a good catfight but now it was not the time.

"Ladies," he said as he stepped in the middle, his hands separating and keeping them far away from each other. "There is no need to create a magic war here. Time is ticking, and I have souls to look after *turns to Myrrhine* Go pack your things babe, time to go."

"What? No. I am not going with you."

The god left out a sigh, turning fully to see her. "Don't know if you forgot it already but... I OWN YOU!" he shouted, his flames turning bright orange and spreading across his arms and shoulders in a scary show of power and anger. The girl backed away, shocked at the sudden change. The god calmed down, the flames turning blue and returning to his head. "Now, I won't repeat it. Go. Pack. Your. Stuff"

Underworld

The underworld was a gloomy place, made from dark rocks and the colours of black, dark blue and haunting purple resonating an eerie vibe. The green river that carried the souls glowed in its own pit as Chiron was rowing his boat across the water that was filled with souls.

A three-headed puppy slept by the entrance as blue flamed torches lightened up the many rooms of the structure that resembled a skull.

Inside the main throne room of a certain gloomy god, a gathering of smoke filled the area as Hades and Myrrhine appeared. The girl coughed, trying to get free clean air into her lungs, a diagonal bag strapped across her body.

"Welcome to the underworld!" Hades said, taking a few steps to the side and spreading his arms. "Your house for the rest of eternity" The girl looked around, almost shivering at the change of environment. She went from the sunny tropic forest and island climate to the heart of the planet, deep within the core where no sun could ever reach her. "What? You don't like it?" the god asked, dropping his smile as he noticed her frown.

"Can't say it's very welcoming."

"Hello, it's the underworld. You know, the place where all souls go? It's not supposed to be welcoming."

"I was being sarcastic you know" she placed a hand on her waist.

"Oh...I see...' I was being sarcastic'" he mocked her, and she rolled her eyes.

"How old are you, 5?"

"Considering the tantrum I witnessed from you before, I should be the one asking that" The girl turned her head to the side, cheeks slightly red. "Pain! Panic!"

She flinched as the loud voice of the god echoed across the halls. Soon, two imps flew into the room. "We are here, your evilness!"

One was thin, with pointy ears and nose and skin at the shade of green-blue. The other was slightly shorter, chubby, and pink with more human-pig like features.

"Good. This is the recruit, Myrrhine. Show her around, will you?" he said and started to walk towards his throne.

The imps smirked, Pain approaching first. "Come here, you-" he never finished his sentence as the woman kicked him to the closest wall.

"You try and touch me, and I will turn you into cockroaches, only to step on you" she warned, hands still folded in front of her chest.

Hades clapped, and she looked at him. "Excellent performance but I am the only one punishing here, babe."

"Whatever" she rolled her eyes, ticking the god.

"Fine, you want to be rude? Pain! Panic! Take her to the orientation!"

"Yes, boss!"

"What?" she questioned before the flying imps pushed her forward.

"Come on! You heard him" Pain said, and she tried to resist.

"What kind of orientation?"

"Oh, you will see. You will love it" Panic added, laughing with his buddy as she was pushed with force out of the throne room.
