Chapter 1: A trail of dust.
"you know, i got tired of you saving and loading. so, i've decided that i do not want any of that anymore." The skeleton in a blue hoodie with a white t-shirt and black shorts said as he held up the soul fragments.
"no more resets, no more timelines, no more genocidal human. the power of controlling fate is in my hands now, brat." The moment he finished his sentence, he absorbed the soul fragments.
As soon as the fragments were absorbed, he felt like there was fire burning in his chest. He screamed in pain before blacking out.
TIMESKIP
After a few hours, the former skeleton woke up with heavy breaths and sweats. He looked at his hands and thought 'i,...am a human.'
He then teleported to his house and looked into the mirror and saw a boy who is about 17 years old. He has white hair and pale skin. The only thing that hasn't changed is his pitch black eyes and those silver pupils. Curious with his new body, he used his magic and suprisingly it was much easier than the old body. It took much less effort and little to no energy to use magic in this body.
He activated 'bad time' and to his suprise, both eyes lit up. His left eye was blue while the right eye was red.
'is this the power of determination? it feels amazing. i wonder what other souls do.' He thought to himself before teleporting to the throne room, where the seven souls were.
'this is new, i never saw a timeline where everyone, including the evacuees and Asgore got killed before i do. heh, gotta admit, this is depressing or should i say depresSans, heheh.' The former skeleton chuckled to himself before turning that smile back into a frown.
Sans then used his bones to destroy every jar and shattered every soul before consuming them all.
"so this is how you took the souls and not get controlled by the humans. heh, i have no bone to pick with them. i just don't like being told what to do by seven different people in my head. it's quite, Mind-breaking, heheheheh. Papyrus would be screaming on top of his non-existent lung right now. guess i'll dress up correctly for once." Sans said as he teleported back to his house to put on a pair of red shoes and some pants.
TIMESKIP
Sans is currently holding to his scarf tightly as he walked through the barrier. As soon as he walked through it, his eyes were met with a beautiful sunset. He was wearing a backpack filled with wine bottles. Apparently, ketchup doesn't taste the same in his human form but Grillby's wine does. Sans then pulled up Papyrus red scarf and started walking down the mountain.
He was walking until he noticed some black creatures with bone-like mask surrounding him. Sans sigh before turning around and said.
"look, i have no time for your nonSans so please, buzz off."
The moment he finished that sentence, all of those black creature attacked at the same time. Before any of them could get closer to Sans, he used his bones to impale all of them. They all disappear in a single hit.
"welp, glad i checked them before killing them." Sans said to himself.

'magic eh, guess i'm going to fight some of them to try out my new powers.' Sans thought to himself as he continued walking.

About an hour later, he saw a little girl with black and red tipped hair. She was wearing a red cloak with a black and red dress and black shoes and she was fighting those creature. She was good at cutting them down with her giant scythe which was also a gun. But despite her efforts, she was getting more and more tired. The girl was receiving many hits and getting too tired to fight any longer.
'welp, let's see what my patience power can do.' he said to himself as he summoned the Gaster Blasters and used 'patience' on them. The Gaster Blaster was now completely invisible. He blasted the Gaster Blaster at the dark creatures.
The girl was completely exhausted and collapsed to the ground. She was waiting for her death until suddenly, the dark creatures started dissolving for no reason. She suddenly felt fear. Whatever it was, it was definitely stronger than dozens of Grimms. By the time she got up, the monsters were gone, none of them were left.
'so that's what patience do. heh, i could get used to this. welp, better introduce myself to the kid.' Sans thought to himself as he teleported behind the girl.
"Don't you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around and shake my hand." He said with a creepy tone.
She was shivering, thinking that her life was going to end there. 'Dad, Yang, I'm sorry.' The little red riding hood thought to herself as she started tearing up.
'shit, i should not have done that.' he thought to himself as he raised his left hand and used 'kindness' magic on the fatique little girl. She was suprised by this action and looked at the white haired boy.
"i'm sorry for Krilling your mood and scaring you half to Dead, so let's start over, shall we? i'm sans, sans th- just sans. what's your name, Buddy?" Sans tried to use his puns to make her laugh.
"Oh. My. GOSH! You and those bad puns! You are just like Yang!" The girl exclaimed with a hint of annoyance in her tone but she stopped crying.
"heh, can't handle my Puntastic Punsonality? heh heh heh." Sans said jokingly.
"UGHHHHHHH! Stop this nightmare." She exclaimed as she stomped away.
"you know, it's rude to ignore someone when they asked you your name." Sans suddenly appeared next to the girl.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to. My name is Ruby, Ruby Rose." Ruby said.
"Ruby huh? that's a nice name. say, what's a little girl such as yourself doing here at nighttime, shouldn't you be home for dinner or something?" Sans asked.
"Oh right! I have to be home and prepare to go to Beacon tommorow!" She said as she turned into a blur and flew away.
"welp, guess i'm following her then." He thought as he summoned a Gaster Blaster and followed her on the weapon.
TIMESKIP
The moment Ruby realised she was being followed, she looked up to find Sans riding a Gaster Blaster and her excitement got the better of her.
"ohmygoshthatissocoolwhatkindofweaponisthat?caniseeit?canitryit?whatdoesitdo?" Ruby said in a fangirlish tone with high speed and bounced up and down continuously, causing Sans to raise an eyebrow. He quickly dissolve the Blaster and walked up to her. He turned off his eyes and chuckled. Ruby then noticed his silver eyes and said.
"You,... Have silver eyes."
"yeah, you have them too. what's so special about them?" Sans asked.
"My mother and I are the only two people with silver eyes. I'm just glad to find someone else who has them." The girl explained.
"heh, curious. welp, who cares. say, do you know anywhere for me to crash in for the night?" Sans asked.
"Well, I think you should take a break at my place. I'm sure my family won't mind." Ruby answered.
"woah, buddy, let's back up a bit. we just met and you are already asking me to sleep at your place? what are you planning?" Sans asked jokingly.
Ruby's face turned to the color red that might put her cloak to shame as she tried to explain herself.
"I-It's not like that! I-I mean, I'm not planning anything. I-It just that,... I don't know any places, a-and I don't want you to be outside at night! A-And-"
"relax, i'm joking." Sans cut her off "of course i'd like to crash in somwhere for free."
Ruby puffed her cheeks as she walked torwards a house.
"That's my house, come on." She pointed at the house and a girl with blond hair ran up to her and hugged her tightly. She was wearing a orange t-shirt inside of a brown jacket and brown pants with a pair of brown boots.
"OH MY OUM! Ruby, why did you leave without telling me anything? Did you know how worried I was?" The girl said worriedly.
"Sorry Yang, I didn't mean to make you worried. I was visiting mom's grave." Ruby sheepishly said.
"That doesn't explain the rips on your clothes, and that hottie behind you." The girl, Yang said as she looked at Sans.
"Yaaang, ew, no! I was attacked by a pack of Grimm. There were dozens of them. And when my aura was completely depleted, he saved me and healed my aura. I guess that's his semblance? Oh, and he also has this cool Grimm head thingy as a weapon! It's so cooool!" Ruby explained.
"heh, can't be as cool as your scythe." Sans said.
"Of course, no weapon is as cool as Crescent Rose." Ruby stated proudly.
"heh heh, you mean cooler than ice?" Sans punned.
"Oh, Icy." Yang returned the pun and Ruby just facepalmed.
"Come on Ruby, don't give us the Cold shoulder." Sans punned again and Yang laughed at the joke.
"This is getting out of hand. Now there's two of them." Ruby said under her breath.
Sans looked at the two and they somewhat reminded him of himself and Papyrus. Yang always say bad puns and Ruby always gets angry at them. Sans just chuckled as he closed his eyes and he saw the face of his friends. Undyne, Alphys, Mettaton, Asgore, Toriel and Papyrus. He hoped that they were watching him.
"Sans? What's wrong? You fazed out for a few minutes there. Are you okay?" Ruby asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking about someone." Sans replied.
"Okay then, come on in. I think dinner is ready." Yang said as she opened the door and walked inside. Ruby and sans then followed.
The house was not so big. Everything was simple. There was a kitchen, a living room, three bedrooms, a garden and a back yard.
A man then walked up to Yang and said.
"See, I told you Ruby would be fine." The blond man said.
"She almost got killed by the Grimms and her clothes are ripped apart too. Is this your definition of fine, dad?" The father then looked at Ruby as she walked into her room to change. He then noticed a certain white haired boy with a red scarf.
"Who's this dude? Is he a Schnee or something?" He asked.
"He is the one who saved Ruby. As a FAMILY, we should thank him first." Yang shot at her father.
Ruby walked out of the room with her regular clothes on her. She was wearing a gray t-shirt with black pants.
"So, what did I miss?" Ruby asked.
"eh, nothing much." Sans answered.
"Hey buddy, you can stay here for the night. As long as you don't try doing anything funny to my daughters." The man threatened.
"i wouldn't. I would only try something punny." The boy joked. Earning a smirk from Taiyang.

After dinner, Sans leaned his back against a tree and bury himself in his own thoughts. He heard footsteps coming torwards him and opened his eyes to find Ruby walking to him.
"Heya." Sans started.
"Hi,... Did I wake you up?" She asked sheepishly.
"nah, what is it?"
"Can i please see your weapon? I'm kind of a weapon nerd." Ruby asked.
"sure, kid. here you go." Sans answered as he summoned a Blaster.
"It's so COOOOL! What does it do other than flying?" Ruby asked exitedly.
"well, it also use my energy to create and shoots plasma." Sans anwered.
"Shoot the whaa-"
"it shoots laser beam." Sans deadpanned.
"Ohhh, how do you use it?" Her eyes are now sparkling with exitement, causing Sans to raise an eyebrow.
"you are a bit too exited about weapons for someone your age, kid." Sans replied.
"I'm not a kid! I drink milk! You are looking at a 15-year-old huntress in training!" Ruby screamed and pouted.
'gee, she reminded me of Papyrus and Alphys at the same time' Sans thought to himself before saying.
"Welp, here it goes." He said as he blasted a beam to the sky, leaving Ruby in awed.
Beacon academy
A grey haired man was drinking coffee in his office until he notice a strange sensation. He hasn't felt magical energy this powerful since the battle against Salem.
'Could it be her? No, her power feels a lot darker. This is something else, something a bit more hopeful.' He thought to himself as he decided to maks a call.
"Headmaster Ozpin, you need to look at this. A large unidentified light beam was reported in Patch. Should we send someone there to investigate? It's very close to Taiyang's house." The woman from the other line asked.
"No, you and I are going there to investigate it ourselves, Glynda." The man-Ozpin stated.
"Yes, sir." Glynda answered.
Patch
"I think we just woke everyone in a 5-mile radius up." Sans chuckled "Do you want to make a run for it?"
"Do I!?" Ruby screamed as she turned into a red blur and zoomed away while Sans jumped on his Blaster and followed her.
"Hey" Ruby suddenly called "Are you attending Beacon Academy? I think you might be able to pass the initiation."
Sans thought for a moment before answering.
"sure, why not? i already have like 3 PhD. i might pass with flying colors."
"Uhhh, it's a combat school." Ruby explained.
"heh, i would still pass with flying colors." Sans replied.
10 minutes later
Sans and Ruby were standing in the backyard. Ruby was giggling while Sans just chuckled. He then went to the couch as she went to her bedroom. She opened her bedroom door to find her dad and her sister waiting in her room. Ruby was scolded for a long time before she was about to tear up. They both stopped when they noticed that she was on the verge of tears and tried to comfort her.
Sans looked at them and took a bottle of alcohol out of his backpack and started chugging it down his throat. A knock was then heard at the door. Taiyang went to open it to find headmaster Ozpin and headmistress Glynda Goodwitch standing outside of the house.
"Ozpin, Glynda, why are you two here?" Taiyang asked.
"Well, we are here to investigate the source of that strange light and I felt the source of that energy being in this place." Ozpin rolled his eyes at a certain white haired boy who was holding a wine bottle.
"I haven't caught your name, young man." Ozpin looked at Sans knowing that this young man is the source of that magic.
"He's Sans, he is my guest." Taiyang said.
"Sans, you,...have silver eyes."
After Ozpin said that, Sans raised an eyebrow.
"Ruby noticed that too. what's so special about them?" Sans asked.
"Nothing, they are just pretty rare. Sans, I know that you are the one that made that light beam and I have a proposition for you. Would you like to join Beacon Academy? You may take the initiation tomorrow." Ozpin asked.
"sure, i was going to go there with Ruby and Yang anyway so a pickup would be quite convenient. i will Bee there Twomorrow." Sans joked, earning a chuckle from Ozpin and a frown from Glynda.
"Excellent, we will see you there tomorrow then." The headmaster said as he bid Taiyang farewell.
"What an interesting young man. I guess we have found the source of that magic." He said to the headmistress.
"Sir, should we do something to make sure that he doesn't harm anyone? Especialy miss Rose. She is also a silver eyed warrior." She asked.
"Of course, we should watch him closely in Beacon. Even if he has bad intentions he wouldn't dare executing them after meeting a headmaster and a headmistress." Ozpin ensured her.
"That is true, since that would leave behind a trace and we have his face now." Glynda added.
"We will see how will he fend off against the Grimm during the initiation." The headmaster stated.
'This year is definitely going to be interesting.' He thought to himself.
Back in the house
Sans was looking out of the window and checked the two.
