Chapter 3: The initiation.

Sans was sailling through the air with his hands still in his pockets. When he was about to land, he summoned a Gaster Blaster under him and landed on it. He then used it to fly to the North of the forest. The blaster took him little to no time to reach the place. Sans looked down before jumping off the blaster. He landed with a thud and went for one of the relics.

"who even uses chess pieces as relics? heh, i used to drink ketchup so who am i to judge." Sans said as he grabbed the knight piece and waited.

"time to work on my Sansational puns" Sans stated "but, life isn't that nice is it?"

As soon as he said that, a pack of Grimm surrounded him.

"welp, i guess you guys are my partners? jeez, i gotta find someone who is a bit less Grimm, hehehe." As soon as he said that, four Creeps charged at him in four different direction. He teleported upwards and landed on a flying sheets made of bone. Four bones then appeared out of nowhere and impaled the four Grimms.

"tough crowd, eh? i'm just strating and Somebodies already have a Bone to pick with me." Sans then summoned a blaster to block the sharp feathers from above.

'Bravery': Quad damage.

Sans then summoned two more blasters and blasted the two Nevermore down with an orange beam. He then disolved the blasters and summoned hundreds of bone and sent them down onto the pack of Grimms, killing them instantly.

"GEEEET DUNKED ON!" Sans yelled.

"I think you almost Boned us along with them." Yang flirted, causing her partner to sigh.

*She used to be a member of the White Fang.

'White Fang? that's new.' Sans thought to himself before saying.

"sorry ladies, didn't me ta hit ya in this little Bonetrousle." Sans punned, causing Yang to giggle. Sans then turned to the black haired girl and said.

"we've met on the schoolyard. i didn't catch your name though."

"Blake." She answered.

"nice ta meet ya. i'm sans. sans the summoner. i guess we three are a team now." Sans replied. Blake looked at him with a distrustful expression. Her instinct is telling her that there is more than just a jokester. Screaming was then heard from a far distance.

"Some girl is in trouble, what should we do?" Yang asked.

"I don't think-"

"LOOK OUT!" Sans was cut off by Ruby's voice.

He looked up to see Jaune was flying in the air and Ruby was falling. He sighed before catching them both with his telekinesis and slowly lowered them.

"Thank you." Both Ruby and Jaune said in a unison.

"no probs." Sans stated.

"YEEEEEHAW!" An orange haired girl with a pink dress yelled as she rode an Ursa through the trees and crashed it into the ground. The creature then started to disolve as she whined.

"Awww, it broke."

A black with a pink streak haired boy who was wearing a green long sleeved shirt and white pants breathed heavily before telling the girl.

"*huff*huff*Nora,... Don't ever do that again." His words fell into deaf ears.

"I'm the queen of the castle! I'm the queen of the castle!" The girl – Nora started bouncing around and yelling that sentence repeatedly.

"Nora! NORA!" The boy called.

"Coming Ren!" She replied.

"Uhhh, guys?" Blake looked to the sky and said.

All of them then looked to the sky and saw the heiress screaming down.

"How could you leave me!?"

"I said jump!" Ruby screamed back.

Sans just chuckled before using his telekinesis to drag her down and stopped a few meters above the ground.

"COULDN'T YOU HAVE PULLED ME DOWN MORE GENTLY, YOU DOLT!?" Weiss screamed on top of her lungs.

"heh, i could have pulled you down a lot faster and let you faceplant onto the ground but i didn't did i?" Sans said as he dropped the heiress to the ground.

"Yo, what the – " Yang was cut off with a certain red haired girl running through the woods with a Death Stalker on her tail.

"Did that girl just ran here with a Death Stalker?" Blake asked.

"I HAD ENOUGH! CAN EVERYONE JUST CHILL FOR FIVE FRICKIN' MINUTES?" Yang yelled.

"Guys, the Nevermore is circling back." Jaune alerted.

"Great, now the gang is all here, we can finally die together." Yang sarcastically said.

"The objective is right in front of us, we can just take it and make a run for it." Jaune stated.

"ughhh, i'm getting tired of these Boneheads. or is it because i'm too lazy? heh, hell if i know." Sans sighed as dozens of bone impaled the Death Stalker, killing it instantly.

The Nevermore then shot it's sharp feathers at the crew. Everyone took cover except for Sans. He used the power of 'patience' and the feathers just went straight through him without doing anything. The former skeleton then summoned a large blaster to blast at the Nevermore, but he ended up summoning a bone dragon with a Gaster Blaster for a head.

'ok, then. guess this will do.' Sans thought to himself as he used 'justice' on the dragon.

Yellow fire then appeared on it's wings and eyes. The dragon then shot a beam of yellow light at the Grimm, cutting it in half immediatly. Everyone's jaws dropped at the scene.

"Ohmygosh!Ohmygosh!Ohmygosh!Yougottateachmehowtomakeablaster.Pleasepleaseplease." Ruby spoke with such an incredible speed that it took Sans a few seconds to comprehend what she had just said.

"Holy shit." Yang slurred.

"Yang! No swearing!" Ruby shot a glare at her sister.

"That was a very impressive attack." The red haired girl said.

'heh, her spear reminded me a lot of Undyne. at least she is a lot more polite than that fish lady.' Sans thought to himself.

"Impossible! There are no records of such powerful glyph abilities! Just who are you?" Weiss exclaimed.

"well, i'd love to dig a hole in your head because you are a bit Close minded but we gotta finish the initiation." Sans said.

"Woahhhh, since when did you learn how to do that?" Nora beamed.

"about 10 seconds ago. never knew i could do that." Sans replied.

"Wait, there aren't enough chess pieces for all of us. Yang and I are the only team that doesn't have a chess piece." Blake pointed that out.

"oh yeah, i think prof is going to let the three of us be on a team. it'll be fine." Sans ensured her.

TIMESKIP

All of them then walked back to the cliffs and hand over the relics. Professor Goodwitch and Ozpin, to their suprise, agreed to the three of them being on the team.

"I forgot to ask you something, Sans. What's your full name?" The headmaster asked.

'oh yeah, i didn't told him.' Sans thought to himself before answering.

"sans... gaster."

The auditorium

Professor Ozpin was reading people's name and putting them into teams. Once he heard familiar names, he looked up to find the people he met at the initiation.

"Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrah Nikos and Lie Ren. Your team name will be JNPR (Juniper), led by... Jaune Arc! Congratulations young man." Ozpin stated. Before continuing.

"Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long and Sans Gaster. Your team name will be RWBYS (Rubies), led by... Ruby Rose. This year will be an interesting year indeed."
