Chapter 16

Mobius stared at her and then at Loki, he looked down at his hand, recalling the soft fizzing sensation he had felt when she held his hand. "Show me," Mobius insisted and stepped closer, holding his hand out again. "Can you show me?" he added unsure when she merely stared back at him.

"That won't cause a nexus event?" Idunn asked stepping away from Mobius.

"Ah," he huffed, "Probably will, you're right. But telling me that I have memories, might have done that too. I mean, I'm not supposed to be in the timeline."

"But this is an undetectable planet, is it not?" Loki asked.

"What does undetectable mean?" Idunn added before Mobius could reply.

"Undetectable?" Loki frowned, "not able to be detected. Unnoticeable, imperceptible, inv…"

"I don't want the dictionary meaning. What does it mean for the timeline, for the TVA?" Idunn moaned in annoyance, rolling her eyes.

"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" Loki inquired, amused by this.

Mobius stared between them and then sighed heavily. "It just means that it's basically off the radar. It's like in a blindspot. The TVA can only see it or register it if a nexus event happens here. For anyone else, it cannot be seen or traveled to without knowledge of it. It has to be very specific knowledge at that too. It has a cloud of magic that makes it invisible and unfindable."

"How did I find it?" Idunn asked.

Mobius shrugged. "I have no idea."

Idunn huffed. "I need my memories back." She bit her lip and walked away from the two men.

"Is there any way we can imprison Adam?" Loki asked, "You know, outside of the TVA?"

"You saw what he was like," Idunn said softly. Loki could see that she felt defeated and walked closer to hug her. The warm feeling he'd had since he woke up that morning was slipping away and he desperately wanted it back. He idly wondered whether it was an addiction or just what she exuded.

"Have you tried pinning him in? In a prison cell. Or the magnetic magic like you did with me?"

"I'm not strong enough to hold him down and retrieve the memories." She said sadly, a horrified look on her face. "I don't even know if he destroyed them, or just stole them."

"Perhaps I can restrain him." Loki offered. Her expression darkened. "You don't think I'm strong enough?"

"I don't want him to hurt you," she whispered. "I don't want him to take your memories too."

"I have an idea," Mobius said suddenly. "I don't think you'll like it."

"That sounds promising," Idunn stated sarcastically.

"Hear me out, okay?" Mobius scratched his mustache. "I don't know if it's going to work. It's such a risk."

"You going to tell us or leave us in suspense?" Loki growled.
