Okay, new Story!
It and A REALLY Long Chapter off the bat.
I was going to make it shorter but I just couldn't stop writing.
But I hope you like this story and if you don't oh freaking well, It's my story if you don't like then don't read it.

Now onto the show!
You would think that it was a normal day in Fairy Tail with all the noise and ruckus that was going on inside the guild hall.
But you'd be wrong.
Today happened to be a day of Celebration at Fairy Tail.
Not for winning a game, war or battle.
No today was a special day for one member of the guild.
But as you would have guessed nothing ever goes as planned when it comes to Fairy Tail.
The guild hall was buzzing with activity. The members hung decorations all over the hall. The guild hall was decked with stars, streamers, and star-shaped balloons. Almost every inch was coated in gold and silver.
At the head of the guildhall was MiraJane giving orders and directions. She wanted today to be special and all-around perfect. Even if some of the members didn't have a clue why they were decorating in the first place they were still pitching in.
There were a few mishaps, mostly involving the more perverted members but they were shortly put in their places. Not that Mira had a problem with naked statues made out of streamers and balloons featuring the guest of honor.
*Cough cough* Bickslow *Cough cough*
"They're streamers not fucking paper mache... Stop acting like a damned perverted toddler, Bicks..." Evergreen snapped smacking him with her fan.
"Ow! Woman stop that shit!" Bickslow grumbled as he rubbed the back of his head. His babies repeated 'Stop stop' as they floated around giggling.
"Then stop acting so childish!" Evergreen scolded.
"But you have to admit it looks just like Cosplayer!" Bickslow said sticking his tongue out showing his guild mark.
"I don't think that's the point... As artistic as you believe it is, it's not exactly appropriate for this marvelous celebration that our Dear Mira-Jane has thrown together for our dear Miss. Lucy..." Freed stated shaking his head.
"You think she wants all the girls included then?" Bickslow asked with a tilt of his head.
Freed fought the urge to facepalm himself.
"Now that would defeat the purpose of today..." Mira said giggling as she approached the group on the second floor.
"Wait... What is today?" Bickslow asked.
"Yeah, that's what I was wondering as well..." Evergreen said as she looked deep in thought.
Mira however did facepalm herself. "How could you all forget?! I've been on everyone for over a month about today!" Mira scolded as she puffed out one of her cheeks in annoyance.
"You actually expected them to remember?" Laxus asked walking out from the hallway where the offices were.
"Well, for Lucy I thought they would have..." Mira pouted.
"What do you mean for Lucy, Mira?" Evergreen asked clearly interested.
"Has everyone forgotten her birthday but me?" Mira pouted as her lip began to quiver.
"Oh! That's today?!" Bickslow gasped as he finally looked around at all the decorations. "Now the stars and gold and silver color theme make sense..." Bickslow mumbled.
"It seems that everyone has indeed forgotten..." Freed stated as he scratched the back of his head.
"When is Team Natsu due back?" Makarov interrupted their conversion.
"Few more hours... Erza checked in two hours ago and said they had boarded the train with ease and they should be back three hours..." Mira explained.
"Well, let's get this place finished! Chop chop!" Makarov said clapping his hands together.
They all nodded and went back to work, while Bickslow secretly had his babies take the statue of Lucy to his house.
It was nearing the time of the big reveal. After a spell was cast hiding the decorations so the guest of honor wouldn't know when they walked in, Mira started on the food in the back.
She was setting out the last of the food on the buffet table when the doors opened and in came Team Natsu and Lisanna... Holding hands with Natsu?!
"We're back!" Natsu yelled holding his free hand up in the air.
"We would have never guessed..." Wakaba grumbled with a roll of his eyes as Macao and Romeo chuckled.
Lucy had a sad smile on her face but when she entered the guild hall she forced her smile into something more like her. Big and bright.
"Welcome back! Come up here guys!" Mira called out happily seeing her target with a smile.
Once the Group reached the bar Mira nodded to Freed who dispelled the spell that was hiding the decorations.
"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled as confetti fell from above them but before they could say a name Natsu pulled Lisanna up onto the bar.
"WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!" Natsu shouted holding up Lisanna's hand in the air with his.
Everyone cheered. But some were stunned and surprisingly angry that he disrupted the celebration.
"Wow, you found someone willing to put up with you?" Gray teased.
"Can't believe it... Never thought I'd ever see the day that idiot got married..." Macao chuckled.
He watched from the second floor rolling his eyes at the idiot but what caught his attention was the Blonde that was slowly stepping back into a dark corner of the guild hall towards the back.
He thought it was strange, especially with the sudden smell of salted strawberries. Which to him didn't make sense. He only ever smelled that when the blonde was... Crying?!
He silently snuck down and followed where the blonde disappeared to. He stopped and hid in the corner.
He heard a sniffle. "Open! Gate Of The Twins! Gemini!" Lucy whispered the chant as she held the gold key in front of her.
Two Blue little floating creatures appeared and were dancing around their master.
Lucy giggled sadly.
"You summoned us, Princess? Piri Piri!" Gemi asked.
"Would you like to dance with us, Princess? Piri Piri!" Mini asked.
"Not today guys... But could you guys copy me and transform into me?" Lucy asked forcing a smile to her face, even if her eyes betrayed her.
Both spirits tilted their head in confusion.
"Of Course, Princess..." Gemi said.
"We would love to!" Mini said.
It took only a second for them to copy their master and transform into her. But as soon as they copied her they knew instantly what was wrong and why she needed them.
"Thank you, guys... I'm going to head home... Have fun though! You guys deserve it..." Lucy said before making her way out the back.
Gemini Lucy growled. "That Natsu is an idiot..." She grumbled as she shook her head before turning back towards the party. But she stopped by the dark corner. "Are you stalking our Princess?" Gemini Lucy asked.
Laxus snorted. "No... Definitely not... Just curious as to why she walked away that's all..." Laxus said.
Gemini Lucy narrowed her eyes and tilted her head slightly. "You care about our Princess?" She asked.
Laxus came out from the darkness crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned against the wall.
"Of course... She's a guild mate..." Laxus answered lowly so as not to draw any attention to them.
"She was in love with him..." Gemini Lucy said glaring toward Natsu. "He's so dense he never saw it... Everyone here I bet saw it..." Gemini Lucy said with a huff.
"Yeah... It was pretty obvious... But not everyone here is smart enough to see that... He sees her as his best friend... Nothing more..." Laxus said wanting to suddenly smash the Fire Dragon slayer's face in.
"Another reason to Celebrate!" Makarov shouted as he jumped up on the bar.
"What do mean another reason?" Natsu asked confused. "Wasn't this party for us?" Natsu asked scratching the back of his head.
"Wait what..." Makarov stopped and stared at him in disbelief. "How could you forget what today is?! You of all people should know!" Makarov snapped angrily.
"What do you mean, old man?" Natsu asked.
"Um..." Mira started as she scratched the back of her head. "We're happy for you both... But..." Mira said trying to find the right way to say that this wasn't a party for them.
"If you're happy for us, then why are you acting like you are?!" Lisanna asked.
"Well... You see..." Mira started to say as she was looking around the guild hall since she lost sight of the guest of honor. She finally spotted her towards the back talking with... Laxus!?
"I still don't get it..." Natsu grumbled.
"This party wasn't for you... How could we have thrown a party for you guys if we didn't know in advance?" Mira asked annoyed.
"She has a point Natsu... What did we ruin?" Lisanna asked sadly.
"Lucy! Come here!" Mira called over to her where she was talking with Laxus. She saw her say one last thing to Laxus before nodding and walking towards the Stage where Mira had walked onto. "Come up here!" Mira said with a big smile.
"She's upset... Would you be able to get someone who isn't on her team to go check on her then? Obviously, I'll be stuck here..." Gemini Lucy asked.
Laxus sighed. "Yeah... I'll see what I can do..." Laxus answered.
"Promise? Us spirit's rely on promises, we can't just take your word for it..." Gemini Lucy said.
Laxus sighed. "I promise..." Laxus ground out.
"Good... Thank..." Gemini Lucy began but was cut off by Mira's voice calling to her. She sighed. "Thank you Laxus... Make sure she's taken care of..." Gemini Lucy said before walking off to the stage.
Laxus sighed as he watched her walk off, her face gave no hint of any emotion. Which if anyone knew the girl they would know something was wrong. You could read Lucy's emotions and practically her thoughts just by the look on her face. Right now she gave nothing away.
"What do you want Metal breath?" Laxus asked when he felt someone behind him.
"Gihi... I should know better than to try to sneak up on another Dragon Slayer..." Gajeel chuckled. "What were you talking to Bunny about?" Gajeel asked with a smirk.
'Bunny? He must mean Blondie...' Laxus thought but shook his head. "Nothing..." Laxus grunted.
"Gihi... I'll believe that when the earth suddenly freezes over..." Gajeel said.
"You do know we know plenty of Ice mages right?" Laxus asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Good point... But seriously, what were you and Bunny talking about?" Gajeel asked.
"Nothing..." Laxus said again pushing off the wall.
"But I saw you talking to her..." Gajeel stated confused.
"It wasn't Blondie..." Laxus said walking towards the stage.
"Huh?! What are you talking about?!" Gajeel asked following behind him but Laxus ignored him and kept walking.
Gemini Lucy reached the stage and climbed up to stand next to Mira. Her face was completely emotionless which even to Mira she thought was weird.
"Today's party was actually for Lucy! It's her Birthday!" Mira squealed as she threw her hands up in the air excitedly.
Everyone's face in the guild hall went pale, except Cana, Wendy, Levy, Makarov, The Thunder Legion, and of course Mira's.
"You all forgot didn't you?" Cana scuffed.
Natsu gulped. "I-I-I..." Natsu couldn't think of what to even say to that. "I wasn't the only one who forgot! Gray and Erza forgot too!" Natsu defended. "Ow!" Natsu grumbled as he rubbed the back of his head where Lisanna smacked him.
"That's no excuse... Look around Natsu... If this was for us do you think they would decorate it in Stars and gold and silver? It's obvious who this party was for... And we ruined it..." Lisanna said.
"I'm sorry Luce..." Natsu said giving a small apologetic smile. His nose twitched. "Why do you smell weird?" Natsu asked. "Ow! Damn it! Stop that!" Natsu grumbled rubbing the back of his head again after Lisanna smacked him once again.
"You don't say things like that! Especially to a girl!" Lisanna scolded.
"You guys are fucking idiots..." Laxus said walking up to the stage.
"Laxus... Don't..." Gemini Lucy warned with a hiss.
"Why? I think they should know what they did to Blondie... How much they hurt her..." Laxus said as he jumped up on the stage standing face to face or well chest to face with Gemini Lucy.
"Why are you talking about Lucy like she's not even here?" Natsu asked confused.
"Yup... You're really an idiot..." Laxus grumbled.
"Don't... I won't like this..." Gemini Lucy hissed out a growl.
Laxus smirked. "Oh? Any other reason besides that?" Laxus asked crossing his arms over his chest with a smug smirk on his face.
"Laxus stop harassing Luce!" Gray snapped.
"I'm not..." Laxus said not bothering to remove his eyes from the Blonde in front of him.
"You clearly are!" Natsu growled.
"Really? Am I? Then ask yourself why would Lucy smell of metal and star fruit?" Laxus asked his smirk growing as he watched Gemini Lucy scowl at him.
"She doesn't... She smells like Strawberries and Coconut..." Natsu said confused.
"Exactly..." Laxus growled.
"Don't Laxus..." Gemini Lucy said fighting to keep Lucy's voice normal.
"Laxus what are you going on about, my boy?" Makarov asked.
"Do you want to tell them or do I have to?" Laxus asked with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.
Gemini Lucy growled. "Our Princess isn't going to be happy about this... Piri Piri..." Gemini Lucy said losing control of Lucy's voice.
"Gemini..." Wendy whispered but Laxus and the other slayers heard her as her eyes went wide at the realization.
"You're draining her magic by staying and being as far away as you are... Go back..." Laxus said as Gemini Lucy changed back into the Two blue floating creatures.
"She's not going to like this... Piri Piri..." Gemi said.
"Not at all... Piri Piri..." Mini said.
"She'll get over it... Now go..." Laxus snapped.
Both nodded. "Just do us one thing... Piri Piri..." Gemi began.
"Leave our Princess alone... Piri Piri..." Mini said looking out at the crowd.
They both disappeared leaving the entire guild dumbfounded.
"That was Gemini this whole time..." Mira asked as her face fell.
"Not exactly... Lucy left after the idiot here made his announcement..." Laxus explained.
"How do you know?" Natsu growled.
"I saw her summon them... Now if you'd excuse me I have more important things to do..." Laxus said walking to the front doors.
"Like what?!" Makarov asked in a curious tone.
Laxus stopped as he opened the door. "I have a Promise to keep..." Laxus growled before walking through the doors and the doors slamming behind him.
"What did he mean by that?" Natsu asked.
"Probably has to do with Bunny... Or Gemini in this case... Gihi... No wonder he said that it wasn't her..." Gajeel said as he awkwardly patted a crying Levy's head as she buried her head in his chest.
"Is it me or does Laxus seem to care about Luce?" Gray asked scratching the back of his head.
"Laxus doesn't care about anyone but himself or the thunder legion... So he can't care for someone like Lucy..." Cana said as she glared at the doors.
"That's not entirely true..." Freed said as he walked up next to Mira. "He cares about everyone in the guild despite how he acts... He'd do anything for a guild mate... His family..." Freed said nodding along with his own words.
"It's true... Look at the games two years ago as an example..." Evergreen said with a smirk. "The guy practically destroyed our hotel room after what happened with Minerva... And don't get me started on Flare..." Evergreen explained.
"What do you mean?" Natsu asked stunned.
Bickslow cackled. "Remember the power outage?" Bickslow asked. Everyone's eyes went wide at the realization. Bickslow nodded. "Yup... That was all him because of what Flare did to her..." Bickslow said.
"It took the kingdom twelve hours to get the power working again! Damn..." Cana snickered.
Evergreen nodded. "Yup... So, don't go saying he doesn't care... He just doesn't like to show it as openly as everyone else does..." Evergreen said. "Not to mention... This is Lucy we're talking about... She would have won him over eventually..." Evergreen added with a shrug.
"No kidding... She won over most of our enemies now that you mention it..." Mira giggled sadly.
"I feel like such an awful friend..." Natsu grumbled as he plopped himself onto one of the bar stools.
"You should! Master and I have been planning this for over a month now! And you had to ruin it!" Mira scolded as she stomped into the kitchen.
"We can throw another party tomorrow for her?! Tell her we're sorry..." Natsu pleaded.
"No point now... Gemini probably informed her of what was going on by now..." Makarov pouted as he turned to return to his office.
"Now what do I do?" Natsu asked.
"Give her some space and visit her tomorrow..." Lisanna said. "All of you!" Lisanna added looking at the rest of Team Natsu.
They all nodded before leaving the guild to go shopping for their friend to say that they were sorry.
When Lucy left the guild hall, she headed straight home. She managed to make it in the door before the tears fell and she broke out into sobs as she slid down the door crying into her knees as she sat there on the floor.
She felt Gemini return about ten minutes later. They informed her of what took place. Which made her feel even worse than she already was.
'It's not your fault princess... It's Natsu's...' Mini said through their link.
'I know... I'm sorry... How were you found out?' Lucy croaked through the link.
'Laxus saw you summon us... He ratted us out...' Gemi said.
Lucy snorted sadly. 'Figures... Stupid nosy dragon slayers...' Lucy said.
The party was for Her and she decided to just leave after hearing the supposed good news because she wasn't ready to hear something like that. Natsu was her best friend and she wanted him happy, even if it meant it wasn't with her.
She made her way to the bathroom prepared to take a nice long hot bath. She had the water running when there was a knock at the door.
She sighed and wrapped a towel around herself then went back to the door and opened it.
"Hey, guys I just..." Lucy began saying thinking it was her team but to her surprise standing on the other side of the door was Laxus Dreyar.
She stared at him her mouth hanging open out of shock. Her eyes were wide.
She had no clue why he of all people was here!? Did he come to make fun of her? Did he want to rub the situation in her face?
"You'll catch flies if you keep your mouth open like that..." Laxus said with a smirk pulling Lucy out of her thoughts.
"L-L-Laxus!? W-W-What are you d-d-doing here?!" Lucy stammered out in shock.
"Keeping a promise..." Laxus said.
Lucy sighed and stepped to the side to let him come inside.
"What promise?" Lucy asked leading him into the living room.
"You mean your spirit didn't tell you? Wow, I'm shocked..." Laxus chuckled at his pun.
Lucy rolled her eyes. "I'm going to say no since I have no idea what you're talking about..." Lucy said taking a seat on the sofa.
Laxus followed behind her and sat on the same sofa facing her. He refused to move his eyes from her face. After all, if he did, he knew where his eyes would focus and rest on, and that's not exactly what he wanted her to think. So with all his will he stayed on her face never moving from it.
Laxus sighed when Lucy just sat there looking down at the floor not saying a word. He figured she'd say something but he guessed he would have to be the one to break the ice.
"Look..." Laxus said breaking Lucy out of her thoughts. "I'm not going to say or claim that I understand or know how you feel or even what you're going through... But I'm here if you need an ear... Lucy stood up and took a deep breath before taking a step forward stepping in between his legs and making him look up at her in confusion.

Lucy choked out a sob as a tear escaped her eye. "I... I promise I'll be gone within the week..." Lucy whispered as she closed her eyes letting another tear escape.

"NO!" Lucy shouted wanting to grab his shirt but he still held her hands down. "Please! I just want to forget... I don't want to feel like this anymore! Please Laxus?!" Lucy begged as she cried.
Laxus sighed before lowering himself back down to her. He was nose to nose with her. He slid his nose across her cheek to her neck.

He sighed and nodded as he stood up removing his coat and throwing it to the side.

Once he reached his house, his living room was covered in sleeping bodies. Well only three bodies to be exact but still.
He sighed but continued to his room for a shower. He knew he couldn't show up smelling like the blonde, everyone would kill him if they smelled not only her scent on him but the smell of sex and blood, mainly her blood.
He stepped into the steaming shower letting the hot spray hit him. He instantly let out a hiss as the water hit scratches on his back that he didn't realize were there.

"Well, well, where have you been, young man? We've been worried sick!" Bickslow said in a mocking tone.
Laxus raised an eyebrow. "When did you become Gramps?" Laxus asked.
Bickslow busted out laughing not being able to keep up the act.
"How's Cosplayer doing?" Bickslow asked and watched Laxus tense and growl. He raised an eyebrow. "Am I missing something?" Bickslow muttered to himself.
"How would I know?" Laxus snapped.
"You went to see her last night didn't you? Well, we all assumed you did anyway..." Bickslow said with a shrug of his shoulders.
"No..." Laxus grunted as he left his room.
"Who pissed in your cheerios?" Bickslow asked as he followed behind him. "What the fuck happened to your back!? Looks like you got into a fight with a gang of alley cats! Don't tell me Cosplayer did that?! Damn!" Bickslow let out a low whistle.
"Fuck off..." Laxus growled loudly practically shaking the house.
Bickslow jumped back startled. Freed fell out of the recliner that he had fallen asleep in. Evergreen jumped up and ended up falling on the floor.
"What the hell?!" Evergreen muttered as she looked around and saw a very pissed-off, sparking Laxus giving a death glare to a scared-looking Bickslow. "Now what did you do to piss him off?" Evergreen asked with a sigh as she got back onto the sofa.
"NOTHING!" Bickslow shouted in defense. "I just asked about Cosplayer!" Bickslow defended.
"Oh? How is Miss. Lucy?" Freed said ignoring Bickslow shaking his head and waving his hands frantically.
Laxus just growled and stormed out of the house slamming the front door behind him.
"I wonder what that was about?" Evergreen asked out loud earning her two sets of shoulder shrugs.
By the time morning came, she felt like she had gotten run over by a train. Or a dragon driving said train.
Take your pick.
She opened her eyes and all she saw was the damage around her room. Broken furniture, the bed was on the other side of the room, burned out bulbs, singe marks on the walls and ceiling. Her bedding was torn to shreds.
But the only thing that really bothered her was that Laxus was gone. Not that she expected him to really be here in the morning when she woke up.
She knew better.
She winced as she attempted to move.
She made it to her mirror, moving very slowly due to her body being so sore. Her body itself was covered in bruises, bites, and scratches.
One mark stood out among the rest.
It looked like a bite mark on the junction between her neck and shoulder. It looked like it was healing already but there were two indentations where, if she didn't know better, it looked like a vampire had bitten her. The indentations themselves looked healed but they also looked like a scar with how they were indented into her skin.
She sighed after looking herself over the best she could. She didn't dare try to look at her back.
Although if she did she would have noticed the black and gold Dragon, that looked like it was made out of lightning, a tribal tattoo that was surrounded by stars that were forming on her back.
Once she was showered and dressed in clothes that covered every mark on her she decided to clean up the apartment before getting ready to leave.
Leave as in, Leave Fairy Tail. For Good.
She made a promise, she can't go back on her word now, could she?
That's just something she couldn't do.
"Are you sure you want to do this Princess?" Virgo asked as she helped Lucy clean up the apartment
"Yes... I made a promise, didn't I? I have to honor it..." Lucy said sadly.
"You don't have to..." Loke said as he appeared leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest.
"It's fine... It might be time to move on anyway..." Lucy said refusing to look him in the eyes.
"That's bullshit and you know it!" Loke snapped.
"Loke... My choice has been made... I have a week left... Just help me figure out where to go after here..." Lucy said turning her back to him to pick up some of the shredded sheets.
Loke growled. "If you won't listen to me I'm going to go tell Master!" Loke snapped trying to stand his ground.
"You won't... And that's an order! You won't speak a word of what happened, do I make myself clear, Leo?" Lucy demanded as she stood up, her back still to him.
She never called him Leo. So he knew she was getting pissed.
Loke gulped. "Fine..." Loke sighed.
"If you have a week, Princess we could go find a nice place to build a place for you? It wouldn't take long..." Virgo suggested.
"That'd be great... Somewhere far from here but close at the same time..." Lucy thought out loud.
"I'll see what I can find Princess..." Virgo said with a bow before she disappeared.
Loke sighed. "Alright... Let's finish getting this place cleaned up before your landlady has a heart attack..." Loke said softly.
Lucy nodded. "Thank you, Loke..." Lucy said with a sad smile.
Loke nodded before helping clean up the mess.
It was a few hours before they were finished.
There was a knock at the door once but Loke answered the door and told her team that she wasn't up to seeing anyone right now and forced them to leave.
Virgo had returned and told her about a quiet place in the middle of the woods a few towns over from Magnolia. She agreed and the King agreed to let her spirits have passage to help build a house of sorts for her.
She had to use some of her magic to have them there but not nearly as much since the king was using his power as well.
Over the week she had sent Gemini to the guild to check everything out and to see how everyone was doing.
She tried to be there when she knew the Dragon slayers weren't there so she wouldn't get ratted out. Which worked since Team Natsu left with Wendy in tow on a job.
Levy and Gajeel had gone on a job too and wouldn't be back till after she'd already be gone.
The only one she had to worry about was Laxus himself.
It was day three before she had to leave. Gemini Lucy walked into the guild and saw Laxus at the bar talking with the Master and Mira.
Gemini Lucy put on her best smile and walked up to the bar.
"Hello, Mira!" Gemini Lucy said cheerily.
"Oh! Lucy! You're here! I'm so happy to see you!" Mira said vaulting over the bar to hug the celestial mage.
"Yeah! I'm sorry about that... It just wasn't my day and I needed time you know..." Gemini Lucy said with a smile, not giving anything away.
"Yeah, I know... It was a shock to all of us... I'm sorry that it ruined everything... Maybe we can make it up to you? Girls night on Saturday?" Mira asked with hope in her eyes.
Gemini Lucy knew that their master would be gone by then but they couldn't tell her that.
"Sure! I would love that!" Gemini Lucy said before giving Mira one last hug before shooing her back to work.
Gemini Lucy took a seat at the bar and looked over the guild. They felt him sit next to them.
"Where is she?" Laxus asked lowly so only they could hear.
"I'm not allowed to tell you... But she's okay if that's what you're worried about... Not that it's really your business..." Gemini Lucy whispered back.
"If she was okay why did she send you?" Laxus growled lowly so as not to draw attention to them.
"The truth?" Gemini Lucy asked.
Laxus nodded. "That would be best... Especially if you don't want me to go hunt her down..." Laxus whispered.
"She didn't want to see anyone... But she knew everyone would keep coming to her place for her so she sent me here to reassure everyone she's okay..." Gemini Lucy whispered and smiled when Mira brought over a strawberry milkshake.
"Do celestial spirits actually eat?" Laxus asked with a tilt of his head.
"We do but we don't have to..." Gemini Lucy replied taking a sip. "Human food to us is normally blah if I'm being honest but I must say Mira here can make one hell of a milkshake..." Gemini Lucy added with a grin.
Laxus chuckled. "I hope she comes back soon... It's not as lively without her here..." Laxus whispered before walking away.
Gemini Lucy didn't have the heart to tell him that she wasn't coming back. Gemini Lucy finished the milkshake and said bye to everyone and walked out the door before returning to the spirit world.
Every day through that week Gemini Lucy would visit the Guild just to show she was alright. But on Friday Lucy had her bags packed and left her apartment early in the morning.
No one would be out at this time of day. She wanted to catch the first train of the day so she wouldn't have to worry about running into anyone.
She gave one last look at Magnolia before boarding the train and finding an empty car. She sat down keeping her hood to her sweatshirt up in hopes that no one would notice her.
After the train had departed she let out a breath and relaxed.
Loke appeared next to her, glaring at her. "What about what Gemini said? About Mira and the other girls?" Loke asked.
"I'll send Gemini... They deserve some fun and relaxation..." Lucy said with a yawn.
"You're not telling any of them?" Loke asked leaning forward resting his elbows on his knees as he rested his chin on his folded hands.
"Who would you suggest we tell? Who isn't going flip out and destroy the world looking for us?" Lucy countered.
"Master..." Loke answered instantly.
Lucy sighed. "It's a little late now don't you think?" Lucy asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"I know... But..." Loke began to say but Lucy held up a hand to stop him.
"Take Gemini as me with you... Master won't know the difference unless you tell him..." Lucy said with a sigh knowing he wouldn't leave it alone until she agreed anyway.
Loke sighed. "Fine.. I'll take Gemini with me... Virgo will come to sit with you since having Gemini so far from you will be draining..." Loke said standing up. "I'll return later Princess..." Loke said with a bow before disappearing.
"I hope I'm making the right choice..." Lucy whispered to herself.
The guild hall was in the middle of a brawl when the doors opened to reveal Loke and Lucy. Or at least it looked like Lucy to everyone.
"We may have a problem, Leo... The Dragon Slayers are here..." Gemini Lucy whispered looking around the guild hall.
"Let's be quick so we can get you back before our master dies because she's too damn stubborn..." Loke said with a sigh as they walked towards the stairs that led to the offices.
"Loke! What are you doing here? Hey Lucy!" Gray said with a wave.
"Um... We're here just to talk to Master about something..." Loke said with a smile.
"Okay?" Gray said confused.
Loke and Lucy never showed up like this. Lucy would already be in the guild hall when Loke would randomly appear.
They walked up to the offices and stopped in front of a large wooden door that made Gemini Lucy tilt her head in confusion.
"Isn't the Master tiny?" Gemini Lucy asked in a whisper leaning closer to Loke.
Loke snorted. "Yeah..." Loke said as he knocked on the door.
They heard a 'come in' and they both looked at each other and nodded. They pushed the open and walked inside closing the door behind them, fully aware that they had eyes on them the entire time.
Loke and Gemini Lucy walked to the chairs and sat down.
"Ah! Loke, Lucy, how can I help you?" Makarov asked.
Gemini Lucy looked at Loke and nodded.
Loke sighed. "Master... Lucy left Fairy Tail..." Loke said bluntly.
Makarov looked at him with a raised eyebrow and then looked to the Lucy that sat in front of him.
"I'm confused... Lucy is right there... Isn't she?" Makarov asked.
"Sorry, Master... Piri Piri..." Gemini Lucy said letting Lucy's voice change into their own.
"Gemini..." Makarov whispered. "It still amazes me that I can't tell the two of you apart..." Makarov mused.
"If you were a Dragon slayer, you'd be able to tell... Which is why it's a risk being here right now... Piri Piri..." Gemini Lucy said.
"Where is Lucy?" Makarov asked.
"She has ordered us not to say... Just to have you remove her guild mark..." Gemini Lucy said.
"WHAT?!" Makarov shouted as his head blew up to look like a giant balloon as his mouth dropped wide open.
Loke nodded. "They speak the truth... We aren't allowed to say a word about why or where she's going... She didn't even want anyone to know she left in the first place..." Loke growled.
"Leo! Watch your tone... She's still our Princess..." Gemini Lucy said with narrowed eyes.
"I know... I'm sorry... But... It's just... This is her family..." Loke said his voice getting quieter as he spoke.
"How long will she be gone?" Makarov asked sadly going back to normal size.
Loke and Gemini looked at each other and sighed. "Indefinitely..." Loke said looking to the floor.
"Why did she leave?" Makarov whispered mainly to herself.
"We can't say... But if you want to know... Maybe ask Laxus one of these days... He'd know why..." Loke said.
"Leo..." Gemini Lucy growled.
"She only said not tell anyone why she never said not to give hints..." Loke snapped.
Gemini Lucy sighed. "I know... But still..." Gemini Lucy said before their voice going back to Lucy's voice. "We should get going..." Gemini Lucy said standing up.
"Make sure she takes care of herself... And tell her she's always welcomed... This is her home after all..." Makarov said as tears flooded his eyes.
Loke and Gemini Lucy nodded before leaving the office and heading down the stairs.
"If we're quick we can make it out of here before one of the slayers can stop us..." Loke muttered putting his hand on the small of Gemini Lucy's back pushing them towards the doors.
"LUCE!" Natsu yelled as he spotted them.
"Shit..." Both spirits said.
Gajeel growled from the other side of the guild hall.
"Where's Bunny at?!" Gajeel yelled stomping towards the two spirits.
"Gaj? That is Lucy!" Levy snapped.
"No, it's not... You can't fool my nose... That's those two mischievous devil spirits..." Gajeel said crossing his arms.
"They're called Gemini..." Levy facepalmed.
"Don't care... Where's bunny at? She hasn't been here at all, all week..." Gajeel growled.
Gemini Lucy giggled nervously. "What are you talking about Gajy? I've been here every day this week!" Gemini Lucy said trying to play it off as he was losing his mind.
Gajeel growled. "Don't call me Gajy!" Gajeel snapped.
"Don't call me Bunny!" Gemini Lucy snapped back with a huff.
"It sure sounds and acts like Lu..." Levy said crossing her arms over her chest.
"That's because I am Lucy!" Gemini Lucy said with a glare.
"As I said, you can't fool my nose..." Gajeel growled.
'Princess... How much does Gajeel know about what we can do?' Gemini Lucy asked through their link.
'Not much... Levy on the other hand... She does...' Lucy replied weakly.
"Okay tell me then... If I was supposedly Gemini, how would I prove to you that I wasn't?" Gemini Lucy said with a smirk cocking her hip out as she rested one hand on it.
"I've never seen Gemini use any of Lucy's Star dresses..." Levy mused. "I don't think Gemini could honestly..." Levy said shaking her head.
Gemini internally smirked as they pulled out a key from their pouch. She held up Loke's key and touched it to where her collar bone sat.
"Star Dress! Leo Form!" Gemini Lucy said before their clothes changed into the Leo star dress. "Satisfied?" Gemini Lucy asked.
Gajeel looked confused but sighed. "Then why do you smell like metal and star fruit?" Gajeel asked with narrowed eyes.
Gemini Lucy giggled. "I was just cuddled up with Loke all morning... I smell like him don't I?" Gemini Lucy said in a flirty tone.
Loke almost choked as he bit the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing.
Gajeel made a sour face and made a gagging noise. "Moved on pretty fast there Bunny?" Gajeel said.
"I needed to didn't I? Can't let one idiot ruin me like that now can I?" Gemini Lucy said in a hardened tone.
Gajeel took a step back. "Guess not..." He grumbled before walking away.
Levy giggled. "See you tomorrow Lu!" Levy said with a wave and ran after Gajeel.
Gemini Lucy sighed. "Let's go... Princess didn't sound so good..." Gemini Lucy whispered.
Loke nodded and they both headed out the door. Once the door closed behind them They both returned to the spirit realm.
Neither one of them noticed a pair of stormy gray eyes watching them from across the street.
Laxus watched as both spirits disappeared. He had overheard the conversation with his grandfather and tried to race to Lucy's apartment to see if it was true. He was just across the street from the guild when the lion spirit and Lucy exited the guild.
But what he saw was both of them disappear in a flash of gold light.
He growled and stormed into the guild startling everyone.
Elfman even let out a not-so-manly squeal.
He stormed straight to his grandfather's office throwing the door across the office, and it slammed against the wall.
His grandfather jumped and looked wide-eyed at his raging grandson.
Laxus was sparking, the sparks growing thicker and arching off his body more and more. He was pissed. He wanted to kill, even if he didn't know why.
"Where is she?" Laxus growled.
Makarov looked down. "I don't know... They wouldn't tell me..." Makarov said sadly.
"Why would you allow it?" Laxus raged.
"She left before she even sent them here... How could I have stopped her if she was already gone?! Tell me Laxus! Why would she even leave in the first place?!" Makarov snapped.
Laxus growled shaking the entire guild hall. "BECAUSE OF ME! FUCK!" Laxus said punching the wall, making a hole in the wall bigger than himself. "Damn it! I shouldn't have fucking made her promise that!" Laxus screamed before turning into lightning and flying out of the guild hall.
Neither of them noticed that the entire guild was watching and listening the entire time.
Lucy felt both Gemini and Loke return to the spirit world. She let out a breath of relief as she looked out the window at the passing scenery.
"Are you alright Princess?" Virgo asked.
Lucy nodded. "Yeah... I will miss everyone... I might go back but now I need to get away..." Lucy said
Virgo nodded. "The house should be finished by now... Gemini had copied your guild mate Laki, I believe her name is... So it was built quicker than we thought it would be..." Virgo explained.
Lucy raised an eyebrow. "When did they copy Laki?" Lucy asked.
"One of the times they went to the guild as you..." Virgo said.
"I see..." Lucy sighed. "Wake me when we get there..." Lucy said with a yawn.
"Of course Princess..." Virgo nodded as Lucy closed her eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.
Loke appeared once he knew she was asleep. "How is she?" He asked.
"Tired... It was a bit painful when Gemini used the Star Dress form... She felt her magic drop drastically and almost passed out..." Virgo explained.
"Yeah, I was afraid of that... Gemini only did it to prove that they were the real Lucy... But it doesn't matter the entire guild knows..." Loke said.
"How?" Virgo asked.
"Laxus saw me and Gemini disappear... I looked him in the eyes before we left... I imagine he's not going to be happy..." Loke said looking Lucy over.
"Are you worried?" Virgo asked.
"Something about Laxus seemed off... The same with Lucy... I just can't put my finger on what it is..." Loke explained.
"We'll keep an eye on her then... Let her rest..." Virgo said before disappearing.
Loke chuckled. "So I guess I'm on babysitting duty then..." He mutters to himself.
It's been a little over a month since Lucy left Fairy Tail.
She lived in the middle of a clearing in the middle of the woods in a cabin that had two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
She trained every day.
She kept herself busy and did odd jobs that she came across when she would go into one of the towns to get food or other supplies.
But one day she woke up and felt sick to her stomach when she was in the middle of eating breakfast that Loke had made.
She ran straight to the bathroom and puked up just about everything she ate.
Loke ran after her and helped her pull her hair out of the way.
"Lucy are you alright?" Loke asked after Lucy was done emptying her stomach.
"I think so... It's just nothing seems to be settling in my stomach lately..." Lucy said as she leaned over the sink.
"Not to invade your privacy... But when was your last period?" Loke asked awkwardly, not really wanting to have this conversation, especially with Lucy.
Lucy stilled as she slowly turned her head to Loke. Her eyes got wider as she started to think.
After a few moments, she stood up. "Fuck!" Lucy shouted. "Why didn't I even think about that?!" Lucy groaned as she sat on the toilet with her head buried in her hands. "He's going to fucking kill me..." Lucy mumbled.
"Yeah... You've been in Fairy Tail for far too long... You're talking like a Fairy..." Loke joked trying to ease the tension.
"Have Virgo bring me a test... I need to be sure... Because it could be from stress too..." Lucy tried to argue in denial.
Loke nodded before he disappeared.
After a few seconds, he returned with Virgo at his side.
Lucy shooed them both out of the bathroom so she could pee on the stick in peace.
Lucy sat there waiting with Loke behind her leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Are you going to look?" Loke asked.
Lucy shook her head. "I'm scared..." Lucy whispered.
Loke pushed off the wall and walked over to the counter where the evil stick test sat.
Loke sighed. "Congrats... You're pregnant..."
