New chapter of Back From Death! today, we'll see how the Louds react to Lincoln!

Disclaimer: I do not own The Loud House

"Why me?" Wondered Lincoln, before a covering his mouth for a cough. When he looked to his hand, red liquid dropped of his hand to the bed sheets. He sighed, and sat on the bed. He put one foot on the ground, and almost fell when he placed the other foot on the ground. But he grabbed the desk and forced himself up. Picked a cane he was using to walk, and exited his room.

He dragged himself down the corridor. The house was quite quiet. The Loud sisters were all downstairs, at the couch, watching TV. But their attention was at the Loud choughs coming from upstairs.

Lincoln slowly went down, step by step, with one hand on the handrail and the other on the cane. "Hey guys..." He greeted the girls, walking to the couch.

"How're you doing dude?" Asked Luna. Lincoln coughed a little, before giving a smile to his sister.

"I'm feeling ok Luna." The albino haired boy assured.

"Don't force yourself too much, Lincoln." Said Luan with a sad look.

"I'm really fine girls. Well, better then in the morning. That painkillers are helping a lot." Lincoln laughed, then stopped and looked to his sisters, who started to chuckle awkwardly.

Lincoln was trying to soften the mood things were already very bad, getting sad would only get worse. Three weeks ago, he was diagnosed with a degenerative and terminal decease. According to the doctor, he had two months left.

Lincoln shakes these thoughs auto of his head and put another smile on the face. "Hey girls, how about we all go to the park? It'll be cool!" Lincoln said hitting up from the couch. The girls smiled from the energy Lincoln was demonstrating.

"Of course Linkie." Said Lori also getting on her feet, followed by the other girls. All of them pilled on Vanzilla, Lynn assisted Lincoln getting on the van.

Lincoln had realized that his sister's let him sit on the sweet spot in the last weeks. But not only that, differently than their usual behavior when he got enjured, they weren't overreacting. Just doing their best to make him happy.

Lori stopped to demand errands to trips, and became less bossy around him, Leni often offered herself to do his chores. Not that he was in shape to do then, but it was a sweet gesture.

Luna almost every night sang lullabies, and by his request, started teaching him the guitar. Luan stopped doing pranks on him, and sometimes, she invited him to go with her on the comedy club, where she did her stand up routine.

Lynn stopped completely from picking on him, stopped from menacing Lincoln to practice sports with her. Lucy was oddly, more lively around him, demonstating more emotions than usual. Lincoln was a little freaked at first, but she was trying her best, and that made him happy.

Lana and Lola stopped from fighting, and rarely discussed. That was really strange to Lincoln, but hey, he didn't had to separate them when they got fisical. Lola stopped being so bratty with him, and started to bring him to every single event and peageant she participated. Lana started doing the unthinkable, on Lincoln's request, she stopped eating trash, and bathed almost daily, beyond this, she started to teach him how to fix some things on the house. Yes, it was rather pointless, but, on her words, she wanted to spend more time with his big brother.

Lisa almost didn't left her room. She spent hours upon hours woke, researching a cure for Lincoln. The boy tried to talk to her, saying that she didn't needed to do that. But Lisa was focused. She didn't accepted Lincoln's fate yet. She didn't want to lose her brother, and she was convinced that her intellect would be enough to create a cure.

And Lily... She didn't changed, and that's what Lincoln most liked his baby sister. She didn't understand what was going on, but she was happy that her brother was more close these days. He became the one responsible to feed, to play with her. She liked so much!

The drive to the park was almost silent, save for Lincoln, who played with Lily on her car seat. The baby giggled happily with Lincoln tickling her belly. Luna looked that with a somber look.

"We are here." Announced Lori, parking the van on a small parking lot right outside the city park. Again with Lynn's assistance, Lincoln got out of the van and picked his cane.

The Louds entered the park and started walking down the trail, in some point, they started to walk up a hill. Before realizing Lincoln was struggling to accompany they.

Lynn walked back down and without asking, picked up Lincoln and helped him go up the hill. Up there, she gently dropped him on his feet. "Thanks Lynn." Said Lincoln, before making a deep breath and releasing it with a smile. "I really needed some fresh air!" He said, sitting on the grass.

One by one, all of his sister's sitted on the grass beside him. They looked the park down from the hill. The people walking on the trail, playing frisbee, cycling, even fishing on the small lake. Lincoln looked further the park. He looked the small town of Royal Woods. It was a really a nice place to live. He though. Is a nice place to be with his loved ones.

Lincoln closed his eyes, feeling the wind on his face. This is a very nice feeling.

"Lincoln..." Called Lucy.

"Yes sis?" He responded.

"What are in your mind? You seen in so peace." Lincoln looked to Lucy. That was a weird think for her to say. Then, he made a warm smile to his sister and responded, looking back to the horizon.

"This a nice place." He started. "Royal Woods." The sisters looked to him. "It's a nice place to live. A nice place to grow. I'm happy that I'm here." Said Lincoln smiling at the now sunseting horizon.

"Incol..." Said Lily frowning. Even the bent could fell the melancholy of Lincoln's tone. All of his sister's looked down. Lily crawled to Lincoln, who chuckled, picking the baby and putting on his lap, starting to play with her. Suddenly, his stomach gurgled demanding food. This gave Lori an idea.

"Hey, what about today we eat at the Burpin burger? It is on me!" The Loud kids cheered and got up. Lincoln handled Lily to Leni before picking his cane, and with help of Luan, got back on his feet.

"Let's go!" Said Lynn starting to go down the hill, accompanied with the others, Lincoln was the last to go, he gave a last view at the sunset.

"Lincoln?" Called Lola from the base of the hill. "Come on!"

"I'm coming!" Lincoln said if a smiled taking a step, before, sensing a sting on his head, who went down his spine, and his legs shut off. He fell head first and started rolling down, before he felt something, or rather, someone stopping him.

As his vision started to blur, he could see Lynn calling desperate for him. The other sisters also started to climb up the hill. But his eyes closed, and he passed out.

Lincoln shifted a little before waking. His head stinged so much he barely could move it. He placed a hand on the head. "Oh my head..." He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. He first saw the ceiling, before a head popping on his sight then another, another, another. When his sight became focused. He realized he was laid on the couch, and was surrounded by his family.

They were looking at him like they had saw a ghost. Wait. He slowly sat on the couch, and looked to each one of his sisters, his parents and even Mrs. Casagrande and her grandchildren.

Lincoln opened his mouth, but he couldn't say anything. He didn't know what to say first. Say hi? Hey, it's me! Guess who? He had so much to say, he couldn't choose what. But, before he could choose what to say, Rita spoke.

"Lincoln?" Her eyes were red, she had cried not so long ago. Lincoln's breath started to accelerate.

"M-mom..." The boy slowly stretched his hand, and touched his mother's face. His eyes started to water. "You... Can... See... Me?" Rita's eyes also started to water while she slowly nodded. Lincoln looked to his sisters. "You can see me?" they didn't responded, just stared at him, their eyes started to tear up.

"Lincoln..." Spoke Ronnie Anne. The boy looked at his friend. And started to smile. They could see him! They could hear him! Lincoln started to laugh. Finally! They know he's here! His laughs started to morph into into a cry.

The family looked the boy crying, they didn't knew how to react, their dead brother was on front of them, crying. Leni was the first to step closer, and suddenly embraced the boy, who returned the hug, crying even harder. Luna also hugged Lincoln, then Lucy, Lana, Luan, Lola, Lori with Lily, Lynn and finally, Lisa.

The sisters also started to cry in the group hug, they didn't care what was happening, they just were glad that Lincoln was there. Their brother was back.

"Lincoln." Said Luna when they parted. "How are you alive?"

"I..." He stopped, looking to his family. "I'm not." They looked him puzzled. Lincoln took a deep breath before talking. "I am a ghost." He said simply.

It took a second to them to process what he said, and all of them said in unity. "What?"

Lincoln didn't say anything, just floated up, making some of them gasp. "One night, I woke ina dark place. I realized I was in a coffin. With some help, I dug my way out of there, and... Well... I stayed here for the last days." Explained Lincoln.

"So.. you're the one who haunted us?" Asked Lucy. Lincoln nodded.

"But why didn't you show yourself earlier?" Questioned Lori.

"I couldn't... You weren't able to see or hear me. But, sometimes, I was able to touch you. I'm really sorry if I scared you."

"Don't mind that Lincoln, we are happy that you are here." Said Lynn Sr. Lincoln smiled, but a sudden sting on his head made him fall on the ground, the family quickly went help him.

"Lincoln!" The ghost boy started to contort on the ground, that sight was horrifying. It was the same way he looked that day. And the pain he was feeling also was the same.

The house restarted trembling. But it wasn't like before, the tremble was coming from one of the walls, like something was coming from there, suddenly, a large, silver, ghostly bull phased through the wall. The residents backed at that sight.

"You all are seeing that right?" Asked Lynn Jr. The rest nodded in fear as the ghost bull looked at them with red glowing eyes.

"Stay behind me!" Said Lynn Sr. Spreading his arms, to protect the others. The bull buffed and started to charge in their direction.

Suddenly, Lincoln stopped contorting and flew, intercepting the , grabbing him by the horns.

"Lincoln!" Someone exclamed. Lincoln redirected the bull's charge and they phased through the wall to the kitchen. And there, Lincoln released the bull. The residents walked to the dining room to see them, but didn't see nothing.

"Where's Lincoln?" Asked Bobby. Suddenly, the kitchen utensils flew away, like something had been thrown against them. "Oh, there he is!" suddenly, Lincoln materialized being flung in their direction. They screamed, but before he colide, he stopped, floating around facing the bull again.

"Lincoln, what's that thing?" Asked Luan.

"I don't know, never seen more angry." Responded the ghost boy again charging to the bull, who mooed angrily and also charged. The two ghosts colided. The residents screamed in shock. "What?" Lincoln looked down, both horns were impaling his chest. "Damn..." He muttered. The bull charged again, coliding on the front wall of the dinning room, pressing Lincoln against the horns and the horns. The ghost put his hands on both horns and started to force them out but he wasn't strong enough to pull the horns out.

"LINCOLN!" Lynn Jr. Shouted, running to his aid, just to be pushed back by the bull, falling on her butt. Seeing this, Lincoln's eyes also glowed red. With rage, he made more force and was able to pull the horns out, and punched with all his might on the head of the bull, making him fly away, phasing through the kitchen wall.

Lincoln got up, they heard the bull charging again, Lincoln also charged, they both colide above the dining table. Lincoln holding both horns, struggling to maintain him away from the others behind him.

Lincoln started to be pushed back, losing the pushing competition. "I really would like a little help..." He mumbled, before shouting. "REAPER!"

Suddenly, Lori jumped when her phone ringed. She looked the number, t.it was a unknown caller. Maybe it's help, she though. "Heelo?" She said to the phone.

"Give Lincoln Rosa's amulet. Now!" The voice of Reaper said on the other end, even if unknown by Lori.

"Mrs. Casagrande!" Lori called the old woman. "The amulet!" Rosa picked the amulet from her apron and handed to Bobby, who trowed to Lincoln.

"Thank you!" Said Lincoln grabbing the amulet, them, he realized something. "What I do with this?" Lincoln shouted to Lori. Who looked back to her phone.

"He rung up!" She said. Lincoln rolled his eyes. Tipic from Reaper to do that. The boy started banging the amulet on the bull's head.

He banged the amulet severel times, and accidentally, he placed the amulet on the forehead, making it glow. The bull mooed and started being sucked into the amulet.

"What?" Lincoln said as the amulet fell on the table.

"Well... This is a mood killer." Said Luan chuckling. Everyone groaned at the pun, but Lincoln also chuckled.

"I really missed your puns Luan." He said, picking the amulet, he looked to the kitchen, seeing the mess he made. "Oh man... Sorry for the kitchen dad."

"It's ok sport." Said the father.

"What was that thing?" Asked Luna

"Why that thing attacked us?" Added Lola.

"And who was in the phone?" Lori also added. Lincoln floated down the table with the amulet in hands.

"I can't answer the first two questions, but the third..." He stopped talking. He looked down. "Let's just say that it's a friend"

"And my amulet..." Rosa pointed at the amulet on Lincoln's hand.

"I think this thing may have absorbed the bull. Here." Lincoln tried giving the amulet back, but Rosa refused.

"No, you can have it, I don't want a ghost bull on my house!" She said backing a little.

"Ok, this may be useful..." Lincoln pocketed the amulet.

While they talked. Ronnie Anne looked at Lincoln, he looked so well. His chest hadn't any hole even if he had two horns impaling him minutes ago. She backed away from Lincoln. Everything she had seen was creeping her out.

"Ok, Lincoln is back, let's go home?" She said pushing Bobby and Rosa.

"Wait Sis, we can't leave yet, Lincoln-" The tomboy interrupted Bobby.

"That's why I don't want to be here. He's creeping me out!" She said before leaving the house and heading straight to their car.

"Oh... That's harsh..." Said Bobby. "Well, sorry guys, come Abuela, bye everyone." Bobby and Rosa went to the front door, accompanied by the Louds, with Lincoln floating over their heads. "And... It's great to see you again little bro." Bobby extended his fist and Lincoln gave him a fist pump, shortly after, he and Rosa were gone on the road.

Lincoln had floated to the roof, to see them going. He didn't fully understand why Ronnie Anne was so creeped. Well, her reaction was expected. Luck that the rest of his family was dealing fine with all this. Or was that he though.

"Hey Lincoln." The boy looked to his left, also sitted on the roof, was Reaper. "How was it?"

"I'm sorry, I lost control." Said Lincoln.

"I already know that." Replyed Reaper. "I don't blame you so much. But you must be aware of the consequences of lighting that signal."

"I think I know what you mean by it." Spoke Lincoln, remembering the bull. He picked the amulet from his pocket. "What was that thing?"

"It was a wandering spirit. They take the form of animals and really like to make mischief. The signal you made must have attracted him to your house. He must be very angry. His eyes were red?" Asked Reaper.

"Yes... What is this thing?" Lincoln showed the amulet.

"Luck that Rosa had one of this with them. This type of amulet is called "spiritualis ligaturam cucurreris" they can sense spirit in the proximity, and as you did with that bull, force them to pass to the other world." Lincoln almost dropped the amulet, but Reaper catched. "You must be careful with this thing! It's very fragile!" Said handing the amulet back to Lincoln.

"But this thing may force me to go!" Said Lincoln. Reaper gave a little laugh.

"Don't worry boy, the passage must be done by another person." Lincoln nodded understanding.

"Hey Lincoln!" Lynn called him, looking up from the frontyard. "Dad is making a special dinner! Came here!" Lincoln looked again to his left, Reaper had vanished. The boy giggled a little and jumped of the roof. That scared Lynn, but the Loud boy didn't hit the ground, he just phased through and floated back. "That was awesome Bro!" She said.

"Thanks." Lincoln replyed walking back inside, accompanied by Lynn.

"And... Who were you talking to?" She questioned Looking up to the roof.

"Just that friend I said." Lincoln said smiling.

Unaware of the Louds, several spirits were making their way to Royal Woods. Also attracted by Lincoln's outburst. After entering the city, they spread out. And like a horde of locusts, they infested the town. After that day, Royal Woods wouldn't be the same quiet and calm town to live.
