Disclaimer: I do not, sadly, own InuYasha or its characters, they belong to Rumiko Takahashi. Nor do I own Cardcaptor Sakura or its characters, I just love them more than life itself, they belong to the wonderful ladies at CLAMP.

Full Summary: Kagome's cousin and second-cousin Sakura Kinomoto and Tomoyo Daidouji, from her mother's family, the Amamiya's came to the shrine with a group of their friends. They had once been very close, then when they were 10, but Sakura and Tomoyo had since lost touch. Kagome was very excited to see the 15 year olds. That is, until InuYasha came to get her to come back to the Feudal Era. Thinking her excuse worked, Kagome snuck away with InuYasha to return to Feudal Era and her mission to recover the shards of the sacred jewel and slay Naraku. As they were walking away from the Bone Eater's well, Kagome hears voices coming from the well. Soon enough, her cousins and their 4 friends climb out of the well, looking around in shock.

A/N: The next story that my brain popped up with….its going to be more towards budding romances, slight comedy, and absolute insanity than my previous rather dark story. 5 of my closest friend/family are completely addicted to CCS and I thought about what-if the CCS gang ended up in the feudal era. How funny would it be? And about died laughing at some of my own ideas, so I decided to write a story about it. The CCS characters might be a little out of character, considering they are no long children, but teenagers, they won't retain their youthful innocence once held in the beloved series, so please if the ooc CCS characters bother you, stop reading and walk away rather than send me hate.

~~Chapter 1~~

Kagome Higurashi was your average 15 year old girl, that was until the day she was pulled through the hidden well into the Warring States era, or the Feudal era, where demons and spirits still roamed the earth. For almost a year now, she traveled back through time and fought alongside a half-demon, Monk, demon slayer, kitsune, and two-tailed demon cat to defeat an evil demon, or rather half-demon, named Naraku. Because of this, she missed a lot of school, barely managing to scrape by.

"Hey InuYasha," she started off as her favorite dog-eared hanyou started inhaling the ramen she'd made for him.

"Yeah? What is it?" Inuyasha said around a mouthful, looking at the young miko sitting beside him.

"Do you think I could go home for a little bit? I have a test coming up in a few days and I really need to study." Kagome replied quickly, hoping for him to not argue.

"Feh, again! This is getting old Kagome! We have to track down Naraku and find jewel shards. No way no how are we going back to the hag's village so you can run back home!" the irate hanyou snapped.

"But I have to take this test!" Kagome shouted at him, "I haven't been home in a month! We're running low on supplies and I have school! Stop being such a jerk!"

Inuyasha just scoffed and continued eating. Kagome stood up and walked over to her things, "Sango?"

"Yes?" the brunette demon slayer replied hesitantly.

"May I borrow Kirara?" Kagome asked, causing the two-tailed to mew at her.

"Of course." Sango answered, knowing why Kagome wanted Kirara.

"What the hell do you need Kirara?" Inuyasha demanded, setting his empty ramen bowl aside, standing up.

"I'm going home and you can't stop me!" Kagome replied, when Inuyasha moved to stop her she huffed, "Sit boy! I'll be back in a week, and don't you dare come after me!"

With that Kagome climbed onto Kirara's back, the two-tailed flying off toward the west where Kaede's village stood near the forest where the Bone Eater's well and Goshinboku resided. After a 6 hour flight, Kirara landed next to the well, letting Kagome off.

"Thanks Kirara, I'm sure the others will be here by tomorrow. I'll see ya when I see ya!" Kagome said scratching behind Kirara's ears before jumping into the well, being surrounded by swirling blue light as she traveled back to the modern era.

When the light faded and Kagome landed gently at the bottom of the well, now back in her own time, she smiled happily as she climbed the ladder Grandpa had put in it for her since she first started going back in time to the fedual era. She hurried toward her house, happy to be home once more, even if she did have to really crack down and study.

She walked into the house, removing her shoes at the entry, calling out "Tadaima!"

"Okaeri!" her mother called back from the kitchen. Kagome dropped her bag near the door and hurried to the kitchen to see her mother working on dinner.

"Oh wow that smells good." she said, already thinking about her mother's cooking.

"Dinner will be ready in a bit, why don't you go have a bath dear." Sora said, smiling at her daughter, glad she'd returned without any injury. Kagome hardly ever went home with some kind of wound, and Sora believed it to be because Inuyasha stayed true to his word and kept her safe.

Kagome nodded and left the kitchen, going upstairs as her little brother started down them, "Oh hey sis!" Sota said happily, "I didn't know you were back."

"Hey Sota." Kagome replied as she hurried up the stairs, excited to soak in the bathtub.

Sakura Kinomoto had her entire life changed when she was 10 and accidentally opened a magical book, releasing magical forces known as Clow Cards on Tomoeda. She had worked hard to recapture all the cards, along with the help of her friends Syaoran and Meiling Li. Her second-cousin, who happened to also be her best friend, Tomoyo Daidouji also helped her out often back then.

Now, 5 years later, the group of 4 friends had been joined 2 years previously by Eriol Hiiragizawa and Renaku Sekigawa. They didn't know about the Clow Cards or the adventures they had been through, but they were close friends all the same.

"Otou-san," Sakura said hesitantly, she hated worrying her dad for anything since Fujitaka Kinomoto worked hard to provide for her and her brother their whole lives.

"Hai?" Fujitaka replied, giving Sakura a close-eyed smile.

"Tomoyo and I were thinking, its been years since we went to Aunt Sora's house, and our school is letting out for a week for some kind of seminar for the teachers." Sakura explained, "I asked Onii-chan to go with us, but he has work. Yukito offered to go instead, if you said it was okay."

"Will it just be you and Tomoyo?" Fujitaka asked, thinking it over.

"No...Syaoran, Eriol, Renaku, and Meiling will be going with us." Sakura answered honestly. She never lied to her father, with just one exception, he knew nothing about the Clow Cards and she wanted it to stay that way. He'd worry far too much and she didn't like the idea.

"Are you sure that Tsukishiro doesn't mind?" Fujitaka asked, doubtful, "6 teenagers can be a handful."

"He offered, so I'm sure he doesn't mind. Plus we're going to be staying with Aunt Sora. She lives at Grandpa Higurashi's shrine, so he'll be there too. And Eriol said Akizuki would be coming too to help Yukito." Sakura stated.

Fujitaka gave Sakura another smile, "Then I don't mind. You be sure to behave yourself while there."

"Hai!" Sakura said excited, giving Fujitaka a hug, "Thank you, Otou-san!"

She bounded off up the stairs to call Tomoyo and the others to let them know the good news. Renaku lived alone, like Syaoran and Meiling did. Eriol was alone except for Akizuki, only she and Tomoyo had to ask their parents.

They made the plans to leave first thing in the morning, so Sakura set about packing her small suitcase with a week's worth of clothes.

"Are you able to go?" a yellow plush-toy looking creature named Keroberos or Kero-chan, asked as he floated next to Sakura's head while she folded her clothes and tucked them neatly into her suitcase.

"Hai. I can't wait! I haven't seen Aunt Sora since before I found the Clow Cards! And most of all my cousin, Kagome! We used to be really close, but since the Clow Cards I just haven't been able to get up the courage to go see them." Sakura said, starting to hum as she packed.

She packed the Clow Cards in their book last, tucking them into the suitcase gently. She had debated not bringing them but she wouldn't feel right leaving them behind for an entire week. Once she finished packing she grabbed her things for a bath and headed down to the bathroom to take her usual bath before bed.

The next morning came swiftly, Sakura buzzing with excitement as she watched out her window for Yukito's van to pull up. Her family's residence was just in Tokyo and it wasn't that far from Tomoeda, so Yukito was just going to drive everyone there.

After what seemed to be an extremely long wait, she saw Yukito pull up. She put Kero-chan in her purse, tucked the Star Key under her shirt on its chain, then ran down the stairs with her suitcase and purse in hand, just as Yukito rang the door bell. She threw the door open, smiling huge.

"Good morning, Sakura." Yukito said with a smile almost identical to Fujitaka's.

"Morning!" Sakura replied, stepping aside to let Yukito into the house.

"Tsukishiro, welcome." Fujitaka said, coming out of the living room.

"Thank you," Yukito said bowing respectfully to Fujitaka, before looking at Sakura, "You ready to go?" he asked her.

"Hai!" Sakura replied before giving her dad one last hug, "Ittekimasu."

"Itterasshai" Fujitaka replied, watching as his beloved daughter ran out of the house to the van, "Please take care of her." he said to Yukito.

"Hai, Kinomoto-sensei." Yukito replied. It was an easy promise to make, as Yukito loved Sakura like his own little sister, and his other-self was sworn to protect her. He bowed once more before leaving to join Sakura in the car.

She was practically bouncing in her seat as they drove off to get Syaoran, Meiling and Renaku first as they were closer. Before long the van was full of Sakura's 5 closest friends, Nakuru Akizuki and Yukito, heading onto the highway to get to Tokyo. Sakura was turned in her seat talking with the rest of her friends, mostly Akizuki, Tomoyo and Meiling as the guys were fairly quiet.

Kagome sighed as she walked up the shrine stairs, school had been a disaster, she didn't understand anything she had missed so much the last month. Shoulders slumped as she thought about how far behind she was falling. It frustrated her to no end. She was going to end up flunking out if she didn't study harder.

"Tadaima…" she said in a miserable voice as she took her shoes off. She stopped and hesitated as she noticed the amount of shoes settled into the entrance, "Mom!" she calls, "Do we have company?"

"In the kitchen!" came Sora's reply, and she sounded very happy, making Kagome curious. She tossed her school bag on the couch and hurried into the kitchen, her eyes going wide at the group of people there, two of which she recognized despite the years since she last saw them, "Sakura! Tomoyo!"

"Kagome!" the two girls replied, getting up to give her a quick hug. Kagome's earlier depression over school was soon forgotten as she was introduced to the people Sakura had brought with her.

"I'm afraid yours and Sota's rooms will be a little cramped, dear, but I was just so happy with Sakura and Tomoyo coming to visit I couldn't say no."

"That's totally okay!" Kagome said happily.

"So what's there to do around here?" Meiling asked, leaning her head against her hand, her elbow propped up at the table.

Kagome thought for a moment, "Well...we could always get out of the house and go to WacDonalds." she said, with a shrug, "Here at the shrine I normally help out cleaning up or study really. Or we could watch a movie, and Sota has video games. Take your pick."

"I vote for movies!" Sakura cheered.

"Same here." Syaoran voiced almost instantly. Soon the rest of the group had also agreed, except Yukito who went outside to offer Grandpa Higurashi some help tending to the Shrine grounds.

They watched 'Broken Bridges', 'Pirates of the Caribbean', and 'Spirited Away' by the time Sora and Nakuru (Akizuki) had finished with dinner. Just as they were about to sit down for dinner, Kagome, Sota, and Sakura's group all seated at the coffee table in the living room due to the amount of space at the dining table, when there came the sound of the front door slamming open and hurried footsteps coming towards them.

"What the hell do you think you're doing Kago-" Inuyasha's words cut off as he took in all the people seated at the coffee table eating. All of them staring at him now.

Before Inuyasha could say anything more, Sora spoke up, "Inuyasha, how nice of you to drop in to see Kagome. Would you like to join us for dinner?"

Inuyasha hesitated, before turning to make his way to the kitchen, seating himself at the table as he said, "Uh….sure…", unable to rude to Sora, as her kindness always reminded him of his own mother.

"Who is that?" Sakura turned to Kagome, whispering.

"And why does he have dog ears?" Tomoyo added, also in a whisper.

"Ummm…." Kagome said, laughing nervously, "He's a friend of mine. And surely you know those ears are...uhh...fake. He's big on the whole cosplay thing."

Tomoyo raised her brow, she knew some costumes could look realistic, but not that realistic. She turned and looked Inuyasha over, and watched as his ear twitched, Kagome was hiding something from them, which intrigued Tomoyo. She exchanged a significant looks with Sakura before grinning at Kagome, "He's pretty cute."

"I agree." Sakura said, making Syaoran glare at Inuyasha immediately, making Tomoyo laugh out right at the sight.

"Wow, your face turned really red." Meiling stated, blinking at Kagome, "Do you like him or something?"

Kagome's already red face turned even more red, 'I've got to shut them up! You idiots he can hear you!' she thought frantically, trying to stutter out an excuse.

"How come you guys get to be off school for a whole week?" Sota complained, not finding it fair that the Tomoeda kids had time off.

"Our teachers are going to some kind of seminar. We're just lucky I guess." Eriol replied with a shrug. Kagome sighed as the subject changed, though speaking of school reminded her of her earlier problem and she groaned, slumping forward, pushing her food away.

"What's wrong Kagome?" Sakura asked, worried.

"Oh nothing, I'm just really behind in school. I was sick recently and wasn't able to study as much as I wanted to and fell really far behind. Now I don't understand anything!" she was nearly wailing by the end of it, causing Inuyasha to look at her, his ears drooped realizing that Kagome was only this upset because of how stubborn he'd been about her coming back at all the last month.

"Cheer up Kagome!" Tomoyo said cheerfully, "We can help you study!"

"Hey! Yeah we totally could! I mean, I still suck at math, but that's okay because Syaoran is really good at it and he's a really good tutor! Or Yukito could help, he's really smart like Onii-chan…" Sakura started babbling, making Kagome giggle.

She looked between Sakura and a now-blushing Syaoran, and grinned, "So how long have you all known each other?" she asked.

"Tomoyo and I met Syaoran and Meiling about 5 years ago when they moved to Tomoeda from Hong Kong, we started out rocky but ended up being really good friends." Sakura started, giving both Syaoran and Meiling warm smiles. Meiling smiled in turn but Syaoran just blushed even harder, "Then a couple years ago Eriol moved to Tomoeda from London and Renaku moved there from Kyoto."

"London?!" Kagome gasped, "That's seriously far, why did you move here?"

Eriol just smiled pleasantly, "Nakuru and I felt like a change of scenery was in our best interest, and I have a friend who was from Tomoeda who recommended me to go there."

"Oh wow. And its just you and Nakuru?"

"Oh we have one other roommate. He doesn't get out of the house much, though." Eriol said in a cheerful manner.

After dinner was finished, Kagome and Sakura cleared and did the dishes while the rest of them went upstairs to Kagome's room to hang out. Inuyasha stood, leaning against the wall, arms crossed and in the sleeves of his haori, waiting for Sakura to leave Kagome alone for a minute.

Kagome glanced over at Inuyasha and sighed, before smiling at Sakura, "You can go on upstairs with everyone. I'll finish this up."

"You sure, I don't mind helping!" Sakura said as she dried another plate.

"Yeah go ahead! Inuyasha can help me if I need it." Kagome insisted, she needed to get this particular conversation with Inuyasha over with.

"Alright...just yell if you need me." Sakura said before setting the dish towel down and hurrying away.

Kagome set the plate she was washing down in the water once more, turning to face Inuyasha, "What now? I can't come back I have a test in 2 days and my cousins are here for an entire week with their friends!"

"Keh, like I care. We need to get a move on, once your test is done, we're leaving." Inuyasha replied.

"I haven't seen Sakura and Tomoyo in years! I want to stay and spend time with them!" Kagome argued.

"Not my problem. You can see them whenever, but Naraku and the shards won't wait around for you to finish visiting with your family."

"You're impossible!" Kagome nearly screeched, tears forming in her eyes though she forced them back, she turned back to the dishes, scrubbing slightly harder than she needed to, the plate in her hand shattering under the pressure, cutting Kagome's hand.

Instantly Inuyasha was at her side, looking the cut over before pulling out a hankerchief that Kagome had given him and tearing a strip off of it to tie around her hand. It was when he did things like this, taking care of her when she got hurt, that Kagome remembered why she put up with him.

"Be more careful, would ya." he reprimanded her, though his normally arrogant tone was gone, leaving his voice sounding almost gentle, "Let me do that." he added as he took the sponge from Kagome's other hand and started working on the dishes himself, carefully removing pieces of the broken plate and chucking them into the trashcan. Kagome sighed as she watched him finish the few remaining dishes, before turning and following her up to her room. He sat cross-legged on the bed while the others crowded around Kagome's desk with her, helping her with her school work. Explaining things to her as many times as she needed until she understood the work.

He could tell that Kagome was close to two of them, probably the two that were related to her. And in turn, they seemed to care a great deal for the miko who had stolen his heart, which made them okay in his book. Though he was getting annoyed with the pointed glare he received occasionally from the human boy they'd called Syaoran.

~~End Chap. 1~~

Sakura: Bam! Done. This chapter was really hard to write and I can just imagine how much harder it will become. My main focus for this fic will be Inu and Kags obviously, and Sakura and Syaoran. The others will be there and have their own roles and such, but they probably won't actually "say" much cause there's just too many people. Hope you enjoy! If you actually manage to find this or whatever and give it a shot, please leave a review and let me know what you think!
