Disclaimer: I do not own The Loud House

After the school day was over, Clyde was waiting his friends in front of the school, he searched on the sea of students leaving the building, trying to spot his friends. "Lincoln, are you still here?" Clyde whispered discreetly to his shoulder.

"Yes." Lincoln whispered back, invisible, floating right above Clyde's shoulder. The McBride kid nodded.

"Can you see them?" Whispered Clyde without being able to spot Zach, Rusty, Liam and Stella. Lincoln floated up and ecaminated the crowd attentively. Lincoln smiled when he smiled a certain red head boy with freckles. He floated down to Clyde's shoulder.

"There are them!" Lincoln whispered as Rusty appeared from the crowd, waving to Clyde. Rusty went closer to them, right behind him, also appeared Zack, Liam and Stella.

"Hi Clyde!" Greeted Rusty.

"So, what do you want to show to us?" Asked Stella chuckling.

"Guys, it's complicated, but first, we need to find a place that we can have privacy!" Said Clyde, Liam's face almost instantly contorted into a grin.

"Yo! I was looking for this! I know the perfect place! Follow me!" Liam said with enthusiasm, before motioning to them follow him.

And the four kids followed him, Unknown by them, save for Clyde, Lincoln also was accompaning them. They followed Liam to a grove not very far from Liam's family farm, it had a bunch of tall trees. They looked very old, one of them was so thick that one person couldn't hug it alone, you'd need at least two persons.

The kids hesitated following Liam further, the farmer boy looked behind and saw his friends hesitating. "Come on! We're almost there!" He called, after some more hesitation, the kids resumed following him. After some minutes of the five kids walking through the grove, they noted that the trees were becoming closer and closed, and without any warning, Liam stopped on his tracks, making a pile up of kids behind him. "We're here!" Liam finally stated with a grin.

The kids looked up, and mounted on top of them, a wooden house, and not a small one, it was mounted in two trees, and had a rope ladder falling from a trapdoor that served as the entrance of that beautiful treehouse. The kids were breathless at that sight.

"Here, no one you find us!" Said Liam climbing the ladder, motioning to the others to come. When all were inside, the treehouse was empty, but had a fairly big space. "What you think?" Said Liam proudly.

"This is amazing Liam!" Said Stella flabbergasted.

"She's right!" Said Zack grinning. "This place is awesome!"

"It must had made a lot of work!" Commented Rusty.

Clyde heard a wristle, thinking it was Lincoln. "You made this treehouse Liam?" Asked Clyde.

"Well, with help of mah dad, but yeah! Clyde, you were so bad looking since Lincoln's pass that I wanted to cheer you up!" Explained Liam.

"Oh, this is so nice! Thanks Liam!" Said Clyde.

"Yeah, now we can hang out here after school!" Spoke Rusty. "But we need to bring some stuff here, now, it's kinda boring." The others nodded in agreement, before Clyde shaked his head, remembering why he needed to talk to them.

"Guys, now, why I summuned you!" Called Clyde catching back their attention. "First of all, you need to assure me that you won't freak out and run off!" Clyde Spoke with a serious tone that made them confused.

"Come on Clyde, of course we won't freak out!" Said Rusty with a smirk.

"Ok then... Lincoln." Clyde said, confusing the others, before Lincoln materialized on front of them, triggering Rusty to scream and jump on Zack's lap. The others also screamed, before Clyde intervened. "Guys it's ok! You don't need to be afraid! Is Lincoln! Our Lincoln!"

Zack dropped Rusty to the ground with his mouth agape. Liam also had his mouth wide open, Rusty still was paralyzed in shock, and Stella had tears coming from her eyes.

"Uhm... Hey guys..." Said Lincoln shyly, without knowing well what he was going to say. "I... Am back!"

"H-how?" Stutered Rusty trembling, still on the ground.

"I... Am a ghost." Said Lincoln simply. It took some seconds before the kids could fully process what he had said.

"A what?" Asked Liam shocked.

"I know is weird, I am dead, but I am here, I-" Lincoln was enturupted when Stella suddenly hugged him, fully crying.

"Lucky bastard..." Muttered Rusty to himself.

"Lincoln..." Said Stella between sobs. "I... We missed you so much..." Stella released Lincoln and wiped her nose on her sleeve. "How? How are you here?" Lincoln made a gentle smile."

It's better if you all sit, it is a long story. I already told Clyde, but you deserve know all." All of the group, including Clyde, sat in front of Lincoln, who also sat on the handmade wood floor of the treehouse. "It all begginned when I woke on a dark place..."

And Lincoln told Them all of his storry, in occasion, Clyde would intervene to also talk, since he already had listened the tale. The four kids that didn't heard yet we're amazed at Lincoln's tale, at certain parts, they laughed, in other parts felt sorry for Lincoln, and in some parts, smiled with the heartwarming details that Lincoln insisted in telling them. At the end, all the remnants of fear they felt had vanished, they were now, only amazed. The sky was starting to dusk when he finally finished the story.

"You fought a bull? This is a feat that even I don't wanna try!" Commented Liam.

"Not just a bull! A ghost bull! With fought and send him straight to hell! This must've been awesome to see!" Said Rusty almost shouting in excitement.

"So it was you who saved Ms. Johnson today!" Spoke Liam, remembering the insidend with the math book earlier on the school, Lincoln nodded.

"And was you who scared that girls at the girl's restroom?" Asked Stella, they all looked to her, without knowing what she was talking about.

"No, I never would intentionally scare someone! But, what are you talking about?" Said Lincoln curious.

"I heard some gossip on the lunch break about a ghost that was terrorizing the students, I heard they saying he first appeared on a bathroom stall on the girl's restroom, scaring two students that were skipping class, and other students saw him vaguing on the corridors, one said he saw it on the library, throwing books around! I thought it was just a hoax, how'd you didn't heard? Everyone was talking about it!"

"We passed all lunch break talking about Ace Savvy. Explained Rusty, the boys nodded. Lincoln scratched his chin, in though. Liam noticed Lincoln.

"What'ya thinking Lincoln?" Asked Liam.

"A ghost? In the school of Royal Woods? This is odd..." Said Lincoln.

"Looks who's talking." Rusty smirked.

"No... It's odd the timing, Royal Woods never had supernatural occurrences, I may be the first in centures maybe! Then, after my poutergeist at the seance, mere hours later a ghost bull showed at home... What if that ghost is here because me?" The kids looked at each other. Clyde also scratched his chin.

"Hum... It's a real possibility Lincoln." Replyed Clyde. Lincoln sighed and picked his phone from the pocket on his pants. He dialed and waited the other side of the call attended.

"Hello? Lincoln?" The voice of Lynn came from the other side. "Where are you? We were getting worried!"

"Lynn, listen, do you heard about a ghost on the school today?" Asked Lincoln. Lynn also went to Royal Woods Middle School, maybe she heard something.

"Yeah, Polly said something in lunch, I thought it was you." Answered Lynn.

"Well, it wasn't, tell mom and dad that I am going to be late for dinner, I'll go check this ghost!" Said Lincoln, surprising both his friends and Lynn.

"Are you sure Lincoln?" Spoke Lynn.

"I need to check if this ghost is a threat, besides, maybe I was the one who brought him to Royal Woods. Don't worry, I have the amulet with me, if I need, I'll use it." Assured Lincoln, feeling the amulet in his back pocket.

"Ok Lincoln, just, be careful." Said Lynn before rang up. Lincoln pocketed the phone and turned to his friends.

"Lincoln, you will go to school now? It's already dark!" Said Stella pointing to the sun almost fully settled.

"If it has a ghost on the school, I need to check it." Spoke Lincoln floating up, but before he flew off, Clyde, Stella, Liam and Zack also stood up.

"Then, we will go with you." Spoke Clyde.

"We will?" Said Rusty confused. Receiving glares from the kids, Rusty shrugged and also stepped up. "We will."

"I don't think it's a good idea guys, it might be dangerous." Said Lincoln.

"Nonsense, hunt a ghost it's something I always wanted to do! It will be like a episode of ARGGH!" Said Zack enthusiastically. Lincoln sighed.

"I won't be able to convince you not go along right?" All of them, save from Rusty, shaked their heads. "Them, let's go, before becomes too dark to walk on the woods."

Minutes later, they were standing in front of the school building, the sun was totally settled, the night sky was dark tonight, the lampposts did their best to illuminate the street and front of the building.

"School is even scarier at night." Commented Liam. Rusty gulped.

"I changed my mind, I need to go home!" Spoke Rusty starting to leave, but Stella caight him by the back of his collar, preventing him to run away.

"Okay guys, you need to stay quiet." Said Lincoln leading them to the entrance of the school, they pushed the doors, but it was locked.

"As expected, locked." Spoke Clyde.

"Well, we tried!" Rusty again tried to leave, but again, Stella caught him by the collar.

"Lincoln, you can open from inside?" Asked Clyde, the ghost boy nodded and phased through the door, making the friends that didn't saw him doing it yet, gasp. Seconds later, Lincoln opened the door from inside, motioning them to enter.

The main corridor was dark and silent. The six kids were alone on that place, they slowly walked down the corridor, using their phones as flashlights. As they passed on the door of the classrooms, they looked inside to see if they spot something. The only thing they could hear was their footsteps and Rusty's trembling.

That turned a corner into another corridor, and continued their search for something. "Hey, What are you kids doing here?" The six kids jumped with the sudden voice coming from behind them, Lincoln instinctively turned invisible with the scare. As they turned around, the kids saw principal Huggins and Ms. Johnson walking to them with flashlights on hands they had slightly angry looks on ter face.

"Ms. Johnson! Principal Huggins! What are you doing here?" Asked Clyde still struggling a little to breath with the scare

"This is exactly what I asked you!" Scolded principal Huggins.

"We were... Looking of that ghost rumors were true." Said Liam honestly.

"Of course they are false, it's all a big prank someone is pulling, he may have settled this in the night, so we are guarding to catch him on act!" Said principal Huggins

"And you kids can't be here right now! We'll accompany you to the exit, it's very late." Said Ms. Johnson. As the seven were walking back to the entrance, Liam noted something.

"Yo principal, if you're here, Why'd ya using flashlights?" Asked the farm boy.

Principal Huggins went on the direction of a light switch and flicked it, but none light came on. "These little pricks may have turned of the power. We were on our way to the generator when found you boys." Explained Huggins, and resumed walking down the main corridor.

When they arrived at the front door, Huggins pulled the door, but it won't move. "Damn oud door..." He muttered pulling harder. "It's stuck!" He said inspecting the lock. "How you kids maneg d to put that lock here?" He said glaring the kids.

"We didn't put any lock on the door." Said Zack.

"We are stuck!" Spoke Rusty nearly panicking.

"Don't panic, we just need to-" Clyde was interupted by a slimy laugh, that made the hair on the necks of everyone there got up. As they turned to look down the corridor, they saw it.

The same ghost that was on the girl's restroom and was spooking the students, he had on his cadaverous face a grim smile. Rusty screamed and jumped into Zack's lap again, both trembling. The ghost laughed at the cowardice of them.

"Trespassing, going against the older's orders your mischief id so succulent... I think I want to try a bigger bite..." Said the ghost before flying in their direction.

"LINCOLN!" Shouted Clyde, Lincoln materialized, shocking the two adults and surprisimg the ghost, The ghost boy flew in his direction and they clashed and engaged into a fist fight. The ghost, being bigger and stronger swung his fists in the air, but Lincoln, being limbier, dodged the punches. They fought on the air for some seconds before both phased a wall, leaving the corridor and the shocked persons that saw the ghost fighting.

"That was Lincoln?" Spoke Ms. Johnson in total shock.

"Yes" confirmed the kids in unison.

"And... He is a ghost..."

"It's a long story teacher, wait..." Clyde saw something on the floor, he approached and grabbed it. "It's Lincoln's amulet!" Clyde showed the amulet in his hands.

"And this is Important why?" Asked principal Huggins confused.

"Without this, Lincoln can't banish the ghost to the other side! We need to give this to him!" Exclamed Clyde.

"But were are him?" Asked Rusty.

In the library, the ghost was throwing books at Lincoln, who was also throwing books. "Why are you throwing books? I can go through them!" exclamed Lincoln, showing what he was saying. The ghost laughed.

"Because is fun!" The ghost grabbed the librarian desk and thrower at Lincoln, who didn't see it coming I time and got hit by it. The ghost laughed with joy at Lincoln's pain. Lincoln got again flew against the ghost, tackling him through the wall.

They both falled into a table on the cafeteria, both grunted and got on their feet. "Come and get some!" said the ghost, challenging Lincoln. But Lincoln just glared at him. Both started float, flying I circles, glaring at each other. Lincoln with a serious look and the ghost with what he called a grin.

"Who are you?" Questioned Lincoln. The ghost chucked.

"Oh, how nice of you to ask, you know, this is not a question I hear often! No one wants to know the name of a ghost!"

"But I want! I want to know why you are here, scaring the students!" Said Lincoln.

"Well, Kids are young and mischievous! They love making mischief, as am I! Is delicious! I feed on mmischief Indeed on disrespect!" Said the ghost licking his black, rotten teeth. "But if others aren't disrespectful of make mischief, I make my own mischief!" The ghost laughed and charged against Lincoln, who engaged him in a push fight.

"I won't let you make more moschieves that can hurt people!" Said Lincoln, but the ghost just laugh.

"You know kid, I was attracted in this city by a signal coming from here." The ghost started to win the push fight, slowly pinning Lincoln down. "You're the one who made that signal didn't you?" The ghost started drooling. "This was quite a mischief." Lincoln struggled to push himself back up, but the force that the ghost was exercing was too much for him.

"Hey ! You Mischief ghost!" Rusty called the ghost, who looked at his direction, Rusty was trembling, Huggins was on his side, also trembling. "Hey principal... You suck!" Spoke Rusty to Huggins, both looking to the ghost with the corner of their eyes.

"What'd you said kid?" Spoke Huggins sweating.

"You are a joke principal! You are a wimp!" Said Rusty. The ghost laughed, releasing Lincoln and slowly floating on their direction.

"Lincoln!" Called Clyde, Lincoln looked at the friend, as Clyde threw the amulet to Lincoln. The ghost looked back confused. Lincoln caught the amulet and charged as fast he could in the ghost's direction.

"Feed on this mischief." Spoke Lincoln, slamming the amulet on the ghosts forehead.

The ghost started to laugh as he started to be sucked into the amulet. "You got me! I falled into it! Good prank!" Said the ghost before being completely sucked into the amulet, who falled on the table below.

Seconds passed when Zack, Stella, Liam and Ms. Johnson got out of their cover, Stella flicked a light switch and the cafeteria was flooded by a almost blinding sea of lamps, the ghost may have be keeping the lights off. Lincoln floated closer and picked the amulet and pocketed him. "Great plan." Commented Lincoln floating to the others. Rusty shyly approached Huggins.

"Principal... I'm sorry about that." The red headed apologized to his principal, Huggins just chucked and patted his head.

"It's ok." Huggins turned to Lincoln, as Ms. Johnson also approached the white haired boy. "And... Lincoln."

"Hey Principal Huggins, Ms. Johnson." Greeted Lincoln.

"You really are back." Spoke Ms. Johnson. Lincoln nodded with a smile. "It was... You who was saved me from that book today?"

"You're welcome." Said Lincoln. "I just wanted to meet with my friends, and I ended watching your class, sorry." Ms. Johnson chuckled.

"It's ok, Lincoln. Is good to see you again."

"I'll say the same, boy." Said Huggins.

"Thanks." Spoke Lincoln.

"And also, thanks helping with that mischievous ghost. If have something I can do for you boy." Offered Huggins.

"No, thanks principal..." Lincoln though for some seconds and had another idea. "Well, there's something you can do!"

Minutes later, the six kids were walking their way back home, talking about the adventure they had, that laughed, mimicking Rusty cowardice, who glanced at them don't finding it funny.

"I still don't understand why you requested that to the principal." Commented Zach, still chuckling at Stella's impression of Rusty's screams.

"I can't stay at home forever!" Replyed Lincoln. "Anyway, how do you knew were we were fighting?"

"We heard noises coming from the library, we went there and you two weren't there, so we checked the cafeteria, we heard the ghost bragging about that mischief thing and I came with the plan of distracting the ghost. You had lost the amulet." Explained Clyde.

"That was smart, come with that plan on the spot, and also, thanks, without your help, I don't even know what I'd do!" Spoke Lincoln, complimenting the friends. "And, also, we discovered that is my fault about that ghost being in the school."

"Well, of ya encounter another ghost, we wanna be there to help ya back!" Said Liam, slapping Lincoln's back.

"Are you sure guys? You don't need to!" Said Lincoln.

"Don't be silly Lincoln!" Said Stella. "We are your crew!"

"She's right." Commented Zack.

"That was very scary." Said Rusty. "But even if I am scared, I'll be there with you!"

"We are your friends Lincoln, we want to help you buddy." Finished Clyde.

Lincoln stopped, and the others also stopped. Lincoln smiled, his eyes were watering.

"Guys this is so nice!" Said Lincoln wiping his eyes.

"Hey." Called Rusty. "You know what we should do? Make a name for us!"

"Name?" Repeated Clyde. "Like a title for our team?" Rusty nodded.

"How about Ghostbusters?" Said Zack.

"It's already taken." Spoke Clyde.

"Mistery Inc?" offered Liam

"Taken."

"Ghoulies?" Offered Stella.

"Believe or not, taken."

Lincoln though a little. "How about, "The Mysterian Kids? Then we can call ourselves Mysterians!" Lincoln offered the name. "I know is already taken, but that movie is so old, it won't have much problem."

"That's a good name." Said Clyde, the others nodded in agreement. "So, everyone agrees to name our crew as The Mysterian Kids?"

"Yes!" the kids spoke in unison.

"So..." Lincoln put his hand up. "Mysterians?"

"Mysterian." Spoke Clyde, putting his hand on top of Lincoln's hand.

"Mysterian." Spoke Stella, also putting her hand above Clyde's.

"Mysterian." Rusty placed his hand.

"Mysterian." Liam turn to put the hand.

"Mysterian." Finally Zack spoke, placing the hand on the canter.

"on three, we make boo sounds, ok?" Said Lincoln, the now named Mysterians nodded.

"One, two, BOO!" The kids made boo sounds and threw their hands upwards, after that, they all laughed.

"We can use the Treehouse as a HQ!" Spoke Zack.

"Yes! How about next Saturday, we all take some stuff there?" Spoke Clyde, the Mysterians nodded. Stella checked the hour on her phone.

"Oh man! Look at the hour! I really need to go home! I think we all need!" the kids nodded, they all were very tired, the best is that they went back home. "Bye!"

And there, The Mysterian Kids departed to their homes. When Lincoln finally landed o his front porch, he noticed that the lights still were on.

"Hello?" He said phasing through the door, he saw his sister's on the couch, motioning to him, he approached them. "Hi girls."

"How it was?" Asked Lori right away.

"What do you mean?" Asked Lincoln.

"When Lynn told us that you were going to school to check a ghost, we were anxious to know how it went!" Explained Luna.

"We all wait you, so you could tell us everything!" Spoke Lola. "Well, almost all of us, Lily is sleeping."

"Well, You need to hear what happened!" Spoke Lincoln enthusiastically, surprising his sisters.

Then, Lincoln told everything that happened to him that day, he talked about the treehouse, the ghost hunt, his fight with the mischievous ghost and the creation of The Mysterian Kids.

"This is so awesome!" Spoke Lana. "I also want to be a Mysterian!"

"So Lincoln, what do you requested Huggins?" Asked Lori curious.

"I asked him if I could continue to go to school!"

"What?" Spoke the Loud sisters.

"Why? If I were you, I would never go to a school ever again!" Said Lynn Jr.

"Well, I don't want to be here twenty four seven! I may be ghost, but I want to try to live a relatively normal life! I want to enjoy this second chance that I have! Even if people freak seeing me back, the people I care won't freak! And with Principal Huggins endorsement and Ms. Johnson knowing about me, I can continue studying!" That made Lisa smile.

"Well bro, of it's what you want." Said Lynn, getting up from the couch. "It's very late, better if we go to bed."

The sisters went to their rooms, leaving just Lisa and Lincoln on the living room.

"I am very proud of you Lincoln, even in death you don't want stop with the studies." Said Lisa smiling.

"Thanks Lisa, and also, can I ask you a favor?" Questioned Lincoln.

"Go ahead sibling." Lisa Replyed with a confident Smirk, justing her glasses.

"I need your help to keep up with what I lost, can you help me?" Asked Lincoln.

"Of course brother, But tomorow, now, I really, need to sleep." Spoke Lisa leaving a yawn.

And founded The Mysterian Kids! in the next chapters we will follow Lincoln, his family and the Mysterians encounters with ghosts. Till next chapter!
