"Hello? Lincoln?" Principal Huggins answered his phone, just to meet the voice of Lincoln from the other side. It was 6 O'clock, Huggins had woke just one hour earlier, he was at the table eating his simple breakfast, a mug of coffee and a plain toast.

"Principal, I need you a favor." Asked Lincoln in the other side of the call.

"Huh... What is it boy?" Asked the principal confused.

"Today, I have to be absent at school, I'm really sorry." Spoke Lincoln.

"Huh... Why?"

"You've seen ARGGH! Yesterday?" Asked Lincoln.

"Yeah, why do you ask boy?"

"That ghost with white hair was me Principal. And the people who also where there, were my friends, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Zack, Stella and my older sister Lori." Explained Lincoln.

"Well, I deduced that was you boy, l I didn't tell anything to my wife and kid, if you're concerned about it boy."

"No, it's ok Principal, today I and the others will skip school to catch the ghost who is in the food court in the mall. Yesterday, we weren't able to catch it, like that one who was in the school."

"Uhm..." Huggins thought what Lincoln said. "I think I know where you're going boy." Spoke the principal. "It's ok, I'll speak with Mrs. Johnson, I know she'll understand. You kids can replace your lost day in the Saturday." Spoke Huggins.

"Thanks Principal, I really appreciate that we have your help in this kind of matter." Thanked Lincoln.

"It's really nothing boy, I know that you're trying to protect the people, and that's what I appreciate about you boy." Lincoln smiled with his cellphone in the ear. "Just Don put yourself, or your friends in risk ok?"

"Ok. Thanks Principal."

"And that's what he said" Lincoln ended telling his phone call to Principal Huggins from 2 hours earlier.

"Well, it's good that we won't have problem by skipping school today." Noted Clyde, they all were sitting on the floor of the treehouse, forming a circle, everyone was sleepy, Zack was eating a apple as he haven't had breakfast yet

Lincoln had summoned the Mysterian Kids to prepare the plan to defeat the Glutton Ghost.

"Yeah, but it had to be so early in the morning?" Spoke Rusty Yawning

"We have to defeat the Glutton Ghost as soon as possible, if we are not fast enough, the guys from ARGGH. If they snoop around there, they probably will get hurt." Explained Lincoln.

"Ok, but what's up with the disguises?" Asked Stella looking at the pile of trenchcoats and sunglasses that Clyde brought.

"If we got recorded again, we won't have the risk of being recognized." Lincoln Explained again.

Rusty interupted, looking at the disguises they had now. "Clyde, not trying to offend you, but I think that trenchcoats are, how do I say... a bit on the nose in trying nto be "sneaky"?"

"What do you mean?" Asked Clyde confused, but Liam was the one who answered.

"Ya see Clyde, these coats aren't good to disguise ya know? They're too attractive." Zack continued after Liam.

"If you wear these, trying to be disguise yourself, you are practically shouting to everyone that you are trying to hide yourself." Stella, them finished.

"They're a bit, cliche." Clyde and Lincoln shared looks.

"They are right tho." Spoke Lincoln. "That's why I'll use this!" Lincoln got up and went to his backpack, picking from inside it his black and orange sweatshirt he used earlier that week to stop that robbery. "It isn't a secret to no one that the most flashy thing about my appearance is my white hair, so, if I wear the hood, it'll be oculted! Oh! By the way!" Spoke Lincoln remembering something. "Leni asked to us to see her when we get back home, she said she wanted to show us something that she was working on!"

"Cool! What is it?" Asked Zack.

"Don't know, but she said we will love it!" Answered Lincoln.

"Ok." Clyde spoke, "We'll have to seek new disguises, but let's leave this aside. About the plan to catch the ghost?"

"Dad bought 20 pound piece of meat." Lincoln spoke. "He purchased for the restaurant, but he decided to give it to us to use in the plan."

"Ok, when we got there, we'll drop the meat in the middle of the court to use as bait, when the ghost get close, we get him." Planned Clyde.

"It won't be easy. He'll get angry as soon we approach." Pointed Stella.

"Yeah, he is very strong, if he hit one of us, It's a goodbye, well, excluding Lincoln." Spoke Zack.

"So, we need to maintain a distance from that thing... But how?" Asked Rusty. Stella smiled. As he put her hand in her pocket.

"With this!" She picked the thing inside her pocket. It was a slingshot.

"A slingshot? Since when do you have this?" Asked Rusty.

"I always had this, I Just never brought to school." Stella explained. Liam raised an eyebrow.

"And how good are ya using it?" The boy asked. Stella smirked, picking a rock from inside the pocket, got up and pointed at the apple that Zack was eating.

"Can you toss it in throw it?" She asked Zack putting the rock in the slingshot and preparing for the shot. The boy sighed, he wanted to finish that apple, but ok. He took one last nite of the apple and toss it through the treehouse window.

Stella quickly raised the slingshot and fired the rock at the window, hitting the apple spot on. The squish sound that it made, was exactly what the girl wanted to hear, when she looked to her friends, they where shocked and impressed on how accurate she shot the apple.

"So? What do you think?" Stella asked with a shy smile.

"That's awesome!" Exclaimed Zack flabbergasted.

"He's right, we definitively needed some long range help!" Spoke Lincoln.

Liam, seeing Stella using a tool, though about something and raised his hand. "Liam?" Spoke Lincoln, granting the country boy the word.

"If y'all agree with, I also have something that may help us." Said Liam. The other Mysterians shared smiles and nodded to him. "I don't have with me now, but Y'all know that I'm very good with the lasso."

"Oh, you're right. I've forgot!" Spoke Clyde. "We can ask Lori drive us to your farm on the way to the mall." Suggested.

"Ok, now, we need to create our plan, and we need to make it quick." Spoke Clyde.

The rest of the group nodded, and with that, they planned what their imminent confront with the Glutton Ghost.

Lori drove Vanzilla up to the mall parking lot. It was 10 o'clock, The Mysterians had came up with a plan to distract the Glutton Ghost.

They had the 20 pound meat in the trunk, they were going to use it as a bait to attract the ghost, Stella and the others where going to keep him distracted as Lincoln approached him and banish him to the other world as quick as possible, or else he could make things float again and nobody wanted that.

Lincoln groped the amulet on his pocket. That things was the most import thing they had. He didn't know any other way to banish the ghosts, and even if he asked Reaper, it wasn't guaranteed that it has another way.

"Man, this jacket is awesome!" Exclamed Rusty rubbing his new jacket.

Lincoln looked around the other sits of the van, his friends were adjusting their new jacket, After the group arrived back at the Louds, Leni gifted the whole group with these jackets that she made herself, for they to use as a disguise and a type of uniform.

They all had different colors, Clyde's was black and blue, Rusty's was also black, with a bright purple one. Zack's jacket was black with a dark tone of green, almost like the color of avocado. Liam's jacket had Yellow in his design, Stella's Jacket had black and red.

Although Lincoln preference was in his sweatshirt, because of it's hood, Lincoln loved his jacket, that it was the most different of the bunch. Instead of black, it was light gray with orange.

One thing that all of the jackets had were vibrant, neon green highlights that popped in the eyes and complemented the colors of the jackets in a very elegant way. In their backs, it had the M of their Logo, the same one that also Leni carved to them in wood some weeks earlier.

Leni apparently was very excited with their group, in her words, it was very cool that her brother had created a little club to play and have fun with his friends.

That made Lincoln smile a little as Lori finally stopped the van in the parking lot.

"Ok guys, let's go." Spoke Lincoln "Oh, Lori, please stay here." Asked the boy as he saw Lori unbuckling her seatbelt.

"Uh? Why?" Spoke Lori a little mad.

"It'll be safer if you stay here. And besides, we need you to be ready to drive if something goes wrong." Explained Lincoln, leaving the van. Lori sighed.

"Fine" She spoke pouting and crossing her arms.

"Ok guys,! Let's go to the balcony!" Spoke Lincoln. After Zack and Rusty retrieving the meat piece, he leaded the group to the same balcony they used to enter the mall last time.

The group stopped as they approached the group, Lincoln looked back and spoke. "Stay here for a minute, I'll see if that blob is away to we set the bait." The group nodded and Lincoln floated up the balcony becoming invisible.

The boy flew inside the abandoned food court. The Glutton Ghost was nowhere to be seen.p Lincoln flew through the food booths, searching for their foe. And he found the ghost in one of the stalls.

It was licking what left of a piece of cow rib. Lincoln deduced that he had eaten all the food that the court had.

Seeing that the ghost was distracted, Lincoln flew back down the balcony. "The ghost is inside of one of the stalls." Informed Lincoln. "Give me the bait." He asked. Rusty and Rusty handed Lincoln the meat, who held the bait in his shoulder and floated up again. "Hey, use the fire escape." Lincoln pointed the metal ladder the group used the last time.

The group nodded and did what he said and went up the ladder. "Let's set the bait." Spoke Lincoln caring the bait inside, the Mysterians right behind him.

The group quickly settled the bait in the middle of the court, as the ghost would smell it, they had to be quick, Stella got In her position, behind a pillar in the south of the court, Liam, l holding his lasso, that he got in the way to the mall, also got in his position behind a fallen table, north of the court, near the balcony. Clyde, Rusty and Zack also hid themselves, in the east, west and southwest respectively. They didn't had much to do in the plan, but they would help distracting the ghost. Lincoln held the amulet firmly in his hand as he flew close to the ceiling, preparing the surprise attack.

Time passed, and the Mysterians started hearing the sound of that giant, amorphous blob slowly crawling in the direction of the bait. The Mysterians looked apprehensively, waiting for Lincoln's signal.

After the ghost crawled close to the bait, he started mercilessly eating it chunks of meat flew of as the ghost feasted on that piece of meat. With that. Lincoln put two fingers in his mouth, and whistled, this was the signal.

The whistling caught the attention of the Gluttonous monster, who started raising his head, but stopped after something hit the side of his head. He turned the ball with with eyes and a gaping hole that he called head, and saw Stella, her slingshot raised, with another rock in it ready to fire again.

"Go away" Roared the ghost, furiously crawling to her direction, just to feel a plate being thrown in him. It was Zack, who started to throw the plates that where in the counter of the food stall he was near like frisbees.

The ghost roared starting to craw in Zack's direction. But Clyde also started throwing the cutlery of the stall he was near, also catching catching the attention of the ghost. It was Rusty's turn to distract him, but the boy looked back, he wasn't near of anything he could throw. He starred to sweat on fear, but saw that the ghost was quickly approaching Clyde, he needed to think fast.

"Damnit!" He muttered, swallowing his fear and jumping out of his hiding spot. "hey! FATTSO!" He shouted grabbing the attention of the ghost.

But instead of going in his direction, the ghost just rose one of his enormous arms, making the table that Liam was hid behind float up. "Oh oh." Muttered both kids as the table flew violently in Rusty's direction.

The boy closed his eyes as the table was about to hit him, but Lincoln caught it and throwing it back to the ghost, that hit him on what could be called belly. The table, also sunk a little into his body, like what happened to Lincoln last time.

That made the ghost flinch. Seeing the opportunity, Lincoln flew as fast he could, holding the amulet and preparing to place it in the ghost's forehead.

But with a quick swing of his fat arm, the ghost hit Lincoln with a tremendous amount of force, making him fly away on the direction of an wall. Lincoln phased through it, but hit the wall in the store he ended on and knocked down a showcase, that fell right in Lincoln.

Seeing what happened to Lincoln, the group gulped, they needed to improvise. Liam started sweating when he saw that the ghost was crawling in his direction.

Stella rose again the slingshot, aiming to the ghost's head, but Zack runned to her and grabbed her hand. "Not the ghost! The light!" He pointed up to the ceiling. Stella saw that it had a spotlight hanging right above the ghost. Stella thanked the lazy worker who decided to leave that spotlight there since the music show the mall had in the food court ma month earlier.

Stella aimed the slingshot to the spotlight and fired the rock on it, hitting spot on and knocking it down on the ghost's head.

The ghost roared in pain as he turned back, looking at the two. The ghost then, charged in their direction, Loam though fast and threw the lasso at the ghost.

"YEE HAW!" Shouted Liam as he lassoed the ghost. But the ghost, strength after turning, made Liam, holding firmly the lasso, fly back and forth, but Clyde and rusty were able to ghost. Their flying friend and together, they used all their strength to try to immobilize the ghost.

Lincoln groaned as he regained consciousness. He sat o the floor, massaging his forehead, and noticed where he was. A wig store for cancer patients. He had knocked a showcase of wigs on him by accident.

"Ops…" He Muttered to himself as he got on his feet. He quickly looked on the mirror and saw that one wig had fallen on his head.

"Huh…" He spoke, adjusting the blood red wig on his head. "I liked." He stated as he was able to fully hide his white hair using the wig. This gave him an idea.

But his thoughts had to wait. As he heard the sounds of commotion coming from the food court nearby. He flew through the wall again, phasing through it and saw what was happening.

The ghost was struggling to free himself as his friends, with addition of Zack and Stella, also struggled to held the ghost in place using the lasso.

"Coming guys!" Lincoln spoke, flying again in the ghost's direction. With a fast swing, Lincoln placed the amulet on the Glutton Ghost forehead.

The amulet glowed as the ghost started to deflate, like it was a balloon. The skin became increasingly less glossy, as the fat started to reduce. The ghost now was really skinny and had a small smile on his mouth. "Thank you." He spoke as the now former Glutton ghost was sucked into the amulet.

Lincoln hold the amulet in his hands, panting and flying down to the ground. "We did it!" Celebrated Rusty throwing his hands in the air.

Then, they heard something coming from the entrance of the food court. The Mysterians looked and saw that behind one of the pillars, the crew of ARGGH! Were recording them. They hid when noticed that the group was looking at them.

"Great." Spoke Zack. "What will we do now?" Lincoln just looked at the pillar where the crew was hiding with a indifferent expression, and pocketing the amulet he felt something inside his pocket.

It was a old piece of paper that Lincoln had even forgot that he had. This made Lincoln have an idea. "Hey, someone have a pen?" He asked, the kids glanced at each other, Clyde picked a pen out of his pocket and gave it to the friend.

"What are you writing?" Asked Clyde as Lincoln wrote something in the paper, folding it and handing the pen back to Clyde.

"Just a little note. To them." Spoke Lincoln, glancing at the pillar and letting the folded paper fall in the ground. "Let's go back home now. Our work here is done." Spoke Lincoln, starting to walk to the balcony. The Mysterians shared another confused look and shrugged, following Lincoln.

As they arrived at the parking lot, they saw that parked not too close to Vanzilla, was parked the van of ARGGH!

"Oh, you're back!" Spoke Lori as she saw the group approaching in the back mirror. "That van arrived here not too long ago." Spoke Lori as the group entered the Van. "So, how it went?"

"We got him." Spoke Stella. "But ARGGH! was recording us."

"Well, they probably are coming, best if we get out of here." Spoke Lori starting the van. "Oh, And Lincoln, what's up with the wig?"

"Yeah, what's up with the Wig?" Repeated Clyde.

"Oh, I just liked how I look with it, and using this, my disguise is complete." Spike Lincoln smiling.

"Well, let's go home, father texted me, he is preparing his lasagna for lunch. You guys want to lunch with us?" Questioned Lori. The kids cheered.

Later that afternoon, after the lunch Lori was gone to retrieve the Mysterians to their respective homes. Lincoln was relaxing on his bedroom, floating above his bed. He sighed peacefully, before a knock in the door cut his groove. "Enter." He spoke, floating down landing in the bed.

"Lincoln" Lucy shyly entered the room holding her book in one hand.

"Lucy" Greeted Lincoln, sitting on the bed. "You're home already?"

"Do you know a word that Rhymes with fear?" The goth girl asked with her usual somber tone. Lincoln scratched his chin.

"Hmm… Maybe Near, of rear, no, scratch that… Oh, tear." Suggested Lincoln. Lucy just raised her book and noted the suggestion

"Thank you Lincoln." She turned to leave the room, but stopped and turned again. "Care if I ask you something?" Lucy asked.

"Aren't you already?" Joked Lincoln. Lucy just stood quiet. "Just kidding. Go ahead."

"How do you feel?" Lincoln raised a eyebrow. "Knowing that you are dead."

Lincoln looked blankly to the wall for some seconds. "Weirdly…" He spoke. "I don't feel much. I think I already got used to the idea. I mean, the cool powers are great and all… And I like that me and my friends are more closer them ever." Lincoln stopped. "But… Sometimes I really wished I had memories of my last months…" Lucy bowed her head.

"I think you don't…" Muttered Lucy, Lincoln heard that and looked at his sister.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because you suffered so much!" She Shouted, this surprised Lincoln as he saw that tears were coming from her bangs. "You don't want to remember all you suffered! You don't want to remember how your body became weaker and weaker, you don't want to remember that you needed painkillers just to get out of bed! And don't want to remember how you acted like nothing was happening!"

At each sentence, Lincoln felt a sting in his head, he raised his hands to his head as his head stringed more and more. Lucy don't realizing what was happening, just continued shouting and crying.

"How you closed yourself to your friends! How you just wanted to be near us! How your senses became weaker and weaker! How your last days were confined in a hospital bed, blind, mute and barely hearing anything! How you were hooked into a machine just to breath!"

Her tears now streamed out of her face and dropped into the carpet. She sniffed a little, and cleaned her nose, that was running.

"I don't want to remember, but I have to…" Lucy used the sleeves of her shirt to clean her eyes. "But you…" She froze when she saw how Lincoln was.

He was in fetal position, holding his head, crying as his head was in pain. The pain of your brain being violently pierced by invisible needles. He was foaming, trembling non-stop and he was fading between invisible and visible, like someone was adjusting his opacity up and down.

That sight was horrifying for someone as close to Lincoln to see, like Lucy. She stood there, paralyzed by the shock, before screaming from the top of her lungs.

"HELP!"

N/A: The fight against the Glutton Ghost was hard, I wanted all the kids taking action in the fight, not just Lincoln just Lincoln punching the ghost again.

So I came with the idea that Stella is great with the slingshot and Liam being good with lasso. things to make them different from the rest. I still need to figure out something to Clyde, Zack and Rusty tho, any suggestion would be good.

I made the Jackets because I really like the idea of the Mysterians becoming a group like the Ghostbusters, with matching uniforms and all, I know is a little cheesy, but this fics is already focusing on the cheesyless of that kind of genre.

But I also want to remember that It'll continue having serious theme in it, hinting the final of the chapter.

I also made that scene with Lucy for some reasons, first, to set Lincoln into another flashback, that it'll happen in the next chapter, second, to insert more of Lucy in the story, I always thought that a Fic with this premise, not focusing at least a little in Lucy would be a waste.
