Hey guys, I'm really glad I've received more than 100 views. If you could comment on your likes and dislikes, that would make my day but there's no pressure.

Katsuki was in complete awe of his girlfriend. It still felt weird to address his Emi-chan as his girlfriend because a part of him still couldn't believe it. His Emi-chan had successfully defeated two villains on her own. Even though they weren't using their quirks, tackling adults wasn't an easy task. He knew his Emi-chan was special because if there was another girl in her position, she would've begged for help a long time ago. He had prepared a gift for his Emi-chan for their anniversary which was a week away. It was a self-composed song that he'd been thinking about for a long time, even before his Emi-chan had confessed to him. He had initially planned to propose to his Emi-chan with a huge ring (even if he didn't currently have the means to buy one) and a beautiful song that would convey his feelings.
The following week, Inko informed her kids about her decision which they didn't take very well. Inko had decided to send Emiko with Hisashi as she was confident about her daughter's ability to adjust to a new environment. Izuku broke down and refused to let go of Emiko whilst loudly sobbing about how his sister was his hero and how he wouldn't be able to face his bullies anymore. Emiko had a blank expression on her face while hugging her brother the entire time, which worried Inko immensely. The household's matriarch knew how attached the twins were to each other and briefly wondered if she was doing the correct thing by separating the twins before recalling the incident with the villains and dismissing her worries. They would eventually learn to live without each other which was good in a way since Izuku might finally stop living in his sister's shadow.
After consoling a hysterical Izuku by distracting him with an All Might themed necklace that she made for her brother, Emiko asked her mother if they could play in the park one last time. Inko initially wanted to disagree with her but acquiesced after receiving the puppy-eyed looks from both of her kids. As they slowly walked toward the park, Emiko thanked Izuku with a sad smile. The twins sat on a bench with Izuku tightly hugging Emiko's right arm and resting his head on her shoulder.
This was the scene that Katsuki came across when he arrived 15 minutes later. What, however, shocked him the most was his Emi-chan's blank expression as she stared at him. It was as if she didn't even register his presence. Katsuki suddenly had a very bad feeling brewing in the pit of his stomach. He nervously approached the twins, secretly wondering why De-Izuku was holding on to his Emi-chan's arm like a leech. Before he could ask anything, his Emi-chan broke the silence.
"Katsuki, I'll be leaving Japan to live with my father in a few days. I don't think I'll be seeing you anytime soon so I brought your gift with me today. This bracelet has a strap over here which you can use to adjust its size so you can use it even when you're an adult", she spoke tonelessly and pointed towards the strap.
Katsuki stared at his Emi-chan in silence, unable to contemplate her words, as she handed him a bracelet that she made with their initials marked on it. His reverie was broken by a soft 'Kacchan?' that came out of Izuku's mouth. He stared at his Emi-chan, no, Emiko (she was no longer his Emi-chan, not after this cruel announcement that he was sure was some sick joke because she wanted to guilt-trip him for forcing those kisses out of her by uselessly arguing and making-up) as rage took over all of his senses. He heard and felt his explosions hitting Emiko's outstretched arm but he didn't care anymore. He heard Izuku's worried cry and Emiko's hiss as he ran home.
He, Bakugo Katsuki, who never cried, was bawling. It just wasn't fair. He knew he was mean and his quirk wasn't the nicest one but it was powerful and he knew Emiko preferred a powerful quirk over a nice one. Emiko wasn't tired of him, was she? Even if she was, did she really think she could get rid of him so easily? He wasn't like the other kids she had defeated before, he was Bakugo Katsuki, the boy who would surpass All Might and become the greatest hero in the world. And unlike Deku, he actually had the power to do so. Now since Emiko wanted to break up with him, he would no longer protect that wimp from the bullies. In fact, he would join them and bully Izu-Deku so much that Emiko would have to beg him. Beg him to save her brother and accept to never leave him again. He didn't care if she hated him, she would be his once again, no matter what.
Emiko ran in the direction where the bracelet had fallen due to Katsuki's explosions. She nearly cried as she saw the once colourful bracelet now blackened with dirt and what was probably soot. She clutched the now ugly bracelet and sobbed, "I thought he'd accept it... this was going to be the last time we'd see each other... I promised I wouldn't cry. 'Zuku, can you please give this to Kacchan after my flight? I'm afraid I can't bear to face him anymore", she sobbed into her brother's shoulder.
"But why Emi? Doesn't your arm hurt? Why do you still care about him? I know he's hurt by whatever you said but he shouldn't have done that!", he angrily exclaimed. He had never experienced Kacchan's blasts before but he knew they hurt a lot. His sister's arm was covered with ugly red splotches which looked very painful. He didn't understand why she would still worry about him, even though he had even refused to accept her gift that she had carefully and lovingly made. She'd made this behind okaa-san's back and that was so difficult... Kacchan really didn't know how to appreciate his sister. But why did his sister think that they'd never see each other again? Was she that upset about the blonde's reaction?
Emiko shook her head with a tearful smile and hugged her brother. "Let's go home", she whispered tiredly and Izuku nodded.
Inko noticed her kids' dejected expressions and screeched at the sight of her daughter's arm. She applied some cream and quickly resumed packing her daughter's luggage. Emiko would be travelling with a trusted family friend Inko had known for a couple of years who was coincidentally travelling to the same country.
Back in their room, Emiko was telling Izuku about how she had planned to send him a postcard every week. She had promised 'Zuku that she would video-call him every day, at least twice per day and that they wouldn't keep any secrets in between them. She also promised to visit him as soon as possible after a few years, preferably when she was grown up and had probably manifested her quirk to aid in her self-defence.
" 'Zuku, please take care of yourself. I won't be here to protect you anymore. I want you to learn some basic self-defence techniques that can help you escape whenever you're in danger, okay? I'd have taught you some basic steps but I'm leaving too soon for you to master them. Now that I'm not here anymore, the other kids might bully you even more. And… and… I don't know if Kacchan will help you anymore like he used to, he's too angry with me and I'm afraid he might take it out on you. Remember this, you must absolutely never let Kacchan know the real reason for my absence. Do you understand?", she looked into his eyes.
"I will try my best to defend myself, nee-san. Don't worry about me. While it won't be nice initially, I'm sure I'll survive. And about Kacchan, I understand, I won't let him know anything. In fact, I plan on avoiding him, I don't want him to remember you and be hurt by looking at my face", Izuku assured his sister.
Emiko nodded and for the first time since their mother announced her decision, gave him a bright smile that he realised he had terribly missed. The twins hugged each other and drifted off, unaware of the changes that would occur due to this decision. The decision that would affect their bond forever.
Author's notes: Well, I think this is the last chapter where we'll be focusing on the twins' childhood as the present. There will be some flashbacks, but flashbacks represent events that have already passed. I'm sorry if you wanted some more cute moments. If you guys have any ideas, I can use those in the flashbacks. Next chapter onwards, we will start off from the canon timeline (which is when Izuku's 14, I think). I'd love to read your thoughts on this one. I'll see y'all soon.
