Author Note: this should have come out months ago but didnt because I couldn't find it. Well, now I have.

I do not Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Enjoy!

The picture did what it intended.

It made him look.

However, Alya would have never have guessed that it would make him go down her social media profile and see who was alive and then blocked every single one of them.

He knew what she wanted and he was not that person anymore.

She had been the one to land the finishing blow to any sympathy he had left in his heart and now he was all logical.

Why should he use his standing to help the people who saw him as a monster right off the bat?

Why shoukd he fighr for equal rights or heaven forbid, overthrow his own kind?

In this city, he was pampered, he was worshiped, he didn't have to worry about where his next meal came from, he was hated yes but he was not hindered by it.

His life was selfish and perfect.

He ignored their attempts to talk to him at school the next morning, he saw the servants stop those he used to know as they got close.

He decided to ignore them for the rest of his undead life.

But what he didn't expect was for the police to want to see him on orders of the Zombie King.

When he heard this, he agreed to this and the drive was actually quiet nice.

At the station he saw a bunch of humans being treated like animals as they were forced out a squad car.

He was given a nice comfortable chair and treated with care, while the humans were made to stand.

The difference in treatment was amazing.

The chef of police said. "Master Nino." Addressing him polietly. "We would like to ask a favour from you by orders of the King"

Okay...

He was listening.

Then a photo was placed in front of him.

It was Alya.

The police office next to the chef said. "This person has quickly become a person of great interest. We read her messages, all humans are greatly monitored. That's how we found you"

They were spying on Alya?

He was not surprised.

He said. "I do not have any interest in this human. She means nothing to me"

Yes, His heart does not beat for her anymore.

The chef said, not surprised. "Well, you apparently mean something to her. We would like to use this to get you close to her and gathering enough evidence to arrest her"

And he blinked.

He said. "You want me to spy?"

The police man said. "This girl is showing a drive that is sending red flags but she is smart. We fear that she's planting seeds in other humans head secretly and we need somebody to go in and shut this down before this becomes a full blown rebellion. You used to date before you turned, she may have a soft spot for you that we can use to get in"

The chef then said. "If you help us. The King will reward you personally with anything you desire. However, if you choose to turn it down. We also understand that a Zombie generocity can only go so far. We will not beg you to fake affection towards humans"

Silence.

He thought about spying.

On one hand, he didn't want to deal with them at all but on the other hand, a part of him wanted to show them what he had become.

He knew Alya.

There was no way, she wouldn't be planning to rebell when Humans were treated so unfairly before her eyes.

He said. "Alright. I agree to spy. What do you want me to do?"

#the Next day#

The much more hardened Miss Bustier class opened their mouths at the sight of him.

Miss Bustier said. "Everybody. Master Nino will be joining us today"

The woman said this wile, the school finish setting up his sparkling desk and chair, separated from the rest of the Human class.

He didn't know what the class was more shocked about, the fact that he was more glamorous then Chloe Bourgeois now, the humans slave, the luxurious desk and table or that he was in front of their eyes willingly.

He didn't say a word.

Seeing him so silent with Zombie eyes, unnerved them.

The woman then said. "Ni- I mean Master." Correcting it.

She said. "Can you please take a seat?"

Silence.

He went to the new desk and sat down, everybody turned the head to look at him.

And then the woman began to do the register and his name was just "Master Nino".

No last name.

He didn't consider the Lahiffe family, his family anyway.

He saw his classmates turn to look at himagain, when they noticed no Lahiffe.

And then the shocking level of favouritism began.

It was even more impactful since it was coming from a woman who always preached about fairness and equality.

Now, she was clearly showing favouritism towards him, and it was clearly killing the woman.

But she didnt want to be sacked, she didn't want to be replaced by a human that "aligned more" with the school's new values.

She didn't want to be sacked knowing her replacement would destroy her human students self esteem till the day they graduate.

And of course, Nino could stop it.

He could demand that she treat him the same as everybody else.

He could end this hypocrisy and make things so much easier for this woman.

But as much as he thought, she was a great teacher, she was shielding everybody in vain.

The world had changed and humans were second class.

He said nothing.

The next lesson was Science and for the first time in Miss Bustier class, Ms. Mendeleiev, the big mean teacher of the school, looked terrified.

Terrified of him.

And was quick to kiss up.

He would forever engrave the look on his classmates faces as the woman paused on her power trip and talked to him much nicer, in front of them.

He even got an extention on homework.

They all opened their mouths.

He was used to it.

At the end of class, the woman informed him that she would be in the break room and that if he needed her, he would just have to text the school and she would come running.

Again, everybody but him and his slave opened their mouths.

The woman then left.

His slave said. "Master, should I get your 10 am food?"

And he said. "Yes"

The man bowed and then left.

As soon as the man was gone he heard. "Jesus!"

He turned around to meet all of their eyes.

Looking at him.

And he realised that in that moment, they all thought he was putting on an act, that he would drop it once adults weren't in the room and go back to the party goof that they were all split on liking.

Maybe reveal how he was passing as a Zombie noble like a badass?

Why should he hide that his heart might as well not be there at this point?

Screw making them feel comfortable.

He had been on there side for a long time and it was their fault.

He said. "Okay, lets put some ground rules here"

He ignored the way there faces changed.

He said. "I am not your pal, bro or buddy. You will either call me Master, or I will make sure today will be your last day at school"

And everybody looked shook.

He said. "Two. If your stupid enough to try and find out what the bracelets on a Zombie does. Then be my guest. Police will be slow because a human called and when they finally arrive, I will be on classmate number four"

And everybody opened their mouths.

He said. "And finally three. Do not steal Zombie grade items or you will be arrested within an hour. Do not claim to be best friends with a Zombie because the city does check up on that. And do not try to pass new items of as Zombie grade because if your story doesn't match up, Zombies won't call you out but you can kiss goodbye to even being able to walk alongside us"

And everybody opened their mouths again.

They waited for him to joke but he didn't, he looked at them with his very cold eyes.

Then his break food showed up and it was served to him on a golden trey and a platter.

He ate in peace because nobody said anything.

He finished and the tray was carried away, the bell rang, he left to the next class.

Things were awkward in the next class but he didn't care.

As soon as the bell rang for lunch, he walked out, he went to the Zombie only male restroom that had a waterfall and gold plated toilets and everything.

He then went to the Zombie only entrance for the cafeteria and ignored any calls for him and went to his area.

However, he sharpened his ears, when he heard. "That confirms it. He's completely turned. Nino has gone over to the dark side"

And Alya said. "I think I can get through to him"

And somebody said. "Are you crazy? He's one of them. He's probably thinking about how best to eat you right now"

And Alya said. "I know but I showed him that picture and now he just happened to transfere to our class? It can't be a concidence. Maybe, deep down, he's trying to reach out?"

His face changed.

Reach out?

He came here to spy and turn her over to the police.

And somebody said. "Yeah, reach out and grab you so that you can't escaping while he munches on you"

Alya said. "Let's me try. If I die, it's on me. But we could really use a Zombie in our corner. Maybe, we'll get through to him if he really sees how we're treated"

And he continued eating and at the end of lunch, Alya with the proper language used for him, asked him if he was doing anything after school and if he wanted to come with her to the book store.

He paused.

He wanted to say no, but he had agreed to get close to her to spy.

He said. "Alright then, human"

She showed happiness.

Cut to more favourism and he was reluctant to go near Alya at the end of the day but he did.

They walked out together.

A human with no collar and a zombie walking out together, got the occasional looks but there were many humans who were kissing up to the zombies on the streets so there was that.

And speaking of streets, city officals were clearing humans out who thought they can live on the streets and beg.

Well,it was common knowledge that everybody had a place to stay so they were just taken advantage.

You can't do this here.

He knew that they would be kicked out and those waiting to come in will cheer as they get moved in.

They entered the book store and he saw a long line for humans.

The Zombie one on the other hand was a nice tunnel with spotlights and windows.

He wasn't going to wait.

He slipped on bjs gloves then he began pulling a stunned Alya to the much nicer line.

The person guarding it, saw him and opened it up for them.

Alya stopped fighting it and was wide eyed as he guided them inside the nicely lit tunnel.

A staff member asked if they wanted some snacks while they waited and if they needed another slave.

The worker at the front, used a special elevator to get her books which was much faster then walking and looking through piles of orders.

They were out in 3 minutes with her account moved to deliver immediately thanks to him.

There was silence as she stood outside.

Alya turned around and looked at him with open mouth, as if she had never seen him before.

He said. "Let's go watch a movie." And he dragged her and paid by card.

They entered into the Zombie theater room.

The place was next level, the seats were top notch, there were human seats but it was rare.

The lighting was nicer and the workers gave you nicer food at your seat.

There was messerge option for the seat.

When the movie started there was no ads, the movie just started right away.

The movie was displayed in far higher quality, the sound was amazing too and the deleted scenes were there.

Something that would not come out for months for the humans.

It was a whole new experience and Alya was clearly shook when she came out of it.

They came out at the nice Zombie exit that allowed Zombies to be separated from the large crowd of people.

From her face, he could tell she was realising just how big the gap was between the two races.

He said. "So... I'm going home to get a team to work on my back to unwind for the day"

And she was wide eyed.

Then she said. "Can I come to?"

He looked at her and marely just went into his limo, looked at her as it was driving passed and said. "No"

The girl opened her mouth.

And with that, he was gone.

And he really did have a team, work on relaxing his body while he watched TV.

Nadja chamack, who apparently was still alive, said. "The news would like to announce that an island has been cleared for Zombies to vacation on. And in lesser news, a human took off a Zombie bracelete in a form of protest and ended up getting eaten. The Zombie was restrained respectfully and offered therapy. His human friends, family and those unfortunate enough to be there, were offered none. And finally, a Zombie grade milkshake will be available everywhere for humans for a limited time"

The news was terrible for the humans, the favouritism was so obvious and you could tell, the woman didn't want to do this.

Crush the self esteem of humans everywhere, but she didn't dare to off script as the conquences would have her kicked out.

Then who would stop her daughter from being brainwashed by the citys idology and forget that it wasn't always this way.

He could practically see that the woman was waiting for the day where humans were treated equal or they reclaim their land.

Not going to happy. I like it this way. He thought.

He wrote up a report and sent it off to the police.

He wondered what tommorow would bring after Alya no doubt spoiled.
