Hey guys! So because I was still feeling guilty about (sort of?) ditching y'all, I've come up with another chapter. This one's my largest chapter to date... so I hope this will satisfy you until we get the next chapter (and nope, I'm not going to upload anything tomorrow so there's no need to wait).

Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia and any of its characters, these belong solely to Kohei Horikoshi.

A full week. An entire week of torture! Not only did Izuku have to anxiously wait for the results to come out, but he also had to deal with the ongoing feud between his mother and sister. He didn't know why his mother couldn't live with his sister. Now that she'd been here for a few weeks, she'd remembered most of her childhood and behaved just like a more mature version of her past self. He was glad that she had adjusted so quickly. Most people took years. Finally, the doorbell rang and the Midoriya household received two envelopes. Izuku felt his entire body freeze as his mother approached him with both the envelopes in hand. She had handed him his first and politely placed his sister's beside her before leaving the room. He eagerly opened his envelope and came across a coin-shaped object which he realised was a hologram. As soon as the hologram settled down on the table, All Might's projection began speaking.

"Huh. Wait, isn't this from U.A.?", Izuku stared confusedly at the projection. 'Why did All Might contact me in such a bizarre manner? Did the top hero somehow lose my number?', Izuku wondered. All Might explained how he didn't pass the admissions test because he got a zero in the practical exam even though he had passed the written exam. Izuku bit his lower lip, tears pooling in his eyes as he mumbled, "I know" repeatedly. Fumiko hugged her brother and spoke lowly, "There's more to it than it seems. Don't just lose all hope, let's wait until the projection fades away." He slowly nodded and perked up when All Might told him to carefully observe a video within the hologram.

The video showed the brown-haired girl (Izuku had exclaimed, "the nice girl" and his sister, "cutie" at the same time) request the teachers to give some of her scores to him since he'd saved her in the practical test and because she'd thought he hadn't scored a single point (which was true). The video ended with Present Mic softly patting her head and reassuring her that there wasn't a need for her to share her points. All Might praised Izuku for acting like a true hero and explained how he'd passed the test by scoring a total of 60 rescue points. Izuku's eyes widened as he saw his rank, i.e., 7th position and softly cried into his sister's shoulder completely missing the panel that listed the top 3. All Might then announced that both Midoriya Izuku and Uraraka Ochaco (they'd realised it was the girl's name) had passed the exam. Izuku was bawling tears of happiness whilst continuously hugging his sister who was giving him soft kisses on his head and patting his back with her free arm.

Suddenly the doorbell rang. A visibly excited and impatient Katsuki entered Izuku's room without knocking on the door and came across the sweet sight. The blonde felt his heart beat uncontrollably at Fumiko's soft expression. His desire to know everything about her and wanting to be the only person to know the real her only increased. He shook his head and hissed, "If you're done consoling Izuku, can we see my result?"

Fumiko shook her head and proudly replied, "Izuku passed." Katsuki stared at her with wide eyes. How was that possible? How could a quirkless person pass the entrance exam? Fumiko herself was going to pass only because of the HPSC's interference. He quickly composed himself and harrumphed, "What's all the crying for then? Why aren't you laughing, idiots?" Fumiko softly smiled at him and turned to Izuku, "He's right 'Zuku. You're in the top ten. 7th rank is really good. We should be glad and laugh, hahahahaha." Katsuki felt as if he'd heard incorrectly, the nerd was in the 7th position? Seriously, how was that even possible? His surprise was dulled by his memory of the smile he'd just received. He was totally whipped and there was nothing he could do about it (not that he wanted to).

"All right, Kacchan. Let's see your result", Fumiko called out to him. Katsuki took a deep breath and tore his envelope into shreds. A projected mouse-chimaera (who was the principal, Nezu) appeared from the hologram and began praising him since he'd been accepted into U.A. and had placed first with another student in the practical exams. Katsuki frowned at that. Who was this other student? Suddenly the hologram showed a picture of the top 3 and the two boys stared at the second name beside the blonde's name. The projection switched off after Nezu welcomed the blonde.

The room was silent. Inko (who'd been trying to eavesdrop from outside) suddenly barged into the room and asked, "What happened? Why're you all upset? Shouldn't you both be happy?" "It's not that, okaa-san. It's about nee-san…", Izuku began but was interrupted by Inko who gave Fumiko a sad look which looked suspiciously fake, "Oh no! That's terrible. It's okay, your sister can live with her father in America. There are a lot of schools there. Right?" "Why don't you see if she's passed or not, auntie? Wanna open your envelope, Fumiko?", Katsuki gave Fumiko a serious look. Izuku mentally thanked Kacchan for interfering, he was beginning to run out of patience. He urgently needed to talk to his mother about her behaviour once again. Fumiko sighed and tore open her envelope (very gently) out of which a hologram appeared.

The projection of a beautiful woman, pro-hero Midnight appeared, "Young lady, I know you're already aware of your circumstances. But since you took the admissions test, you have a right to know about your scores. Congrats! You've placed first along with another student in the practical exam. I must say 47 attack points is very high without a quirk. And 30 rescue points is admirable. You're definitely hero material. You've come first overall since you scored full marks in the written exams. I'm proud to welcome a bright star like you to U.A." The projection showed a panel of her and Katsuki's names on the 1st rank before switching back to Midnight.

Inko gave her daughter a tight smile, "That's very nice. Please take care of Izuku for me, will you?" Izuku wanted to protest. His mother wasn't being fair to Fumiko… his sister deserved even more praise than him. She'd come first in the U.A. admissions test! This wasn't a small thing! And she was quirkless! He could've never passed without One For All. How could she still pretend as if she didn't have a daughter? How could she just pretend as if nothing happened and shamelessly ask the other girl to protect him? He turned to look at Fumiko who was looking at him lovingly and nodded her head, "Mmm, that's what big sisters are for." Izuku teared up at her words. His sister… she'd never really changed. He was always her top priority, even after all these years. He didn't know if he should've felt happy or sad at that thought. He looked at Katsuki who was (understandably) furious and was barely restraining himself. He was glad that the blonde wasn't making a scene. He knew that his sister was extremely pleased with the blonde's control as well.

It had been half a month since the results had come out. Kacchan had apologised to Izuku for his past behaviour (in his own weird way) and had clearly specified that he wasn't doing it because of Fumiko. The blonde had reached some sort of conclusion and had realised he'd been very, very, very mean to him. He'd tried to make it up to him by cooking up some katsudon (it wasn't even that spicy!) when Fumiko wanted to go out with them on a picnic. He'd also begun looking out for him (which had initially freaked him out) in his way. It seemed that his sister, upon her return, had also opened the doors to his luck. Like right now… Izuku was invited to lunch by his classmates who had actually intended to celebrate Kacchan's admission into U.A. He was sure that his classmates hadn't planned on inviting him since they all thought that he wouldn't have passed the U.A. admissions test and the lunch would've only reminded him of that. His sister had been excited to finally meet his other 'friends'.

He didn't have the heart to tell her about how he didn't have a single real 'friend' in school. Why would he even consider Kacchan his best friend if he had other friends (though the blonde was now always awkward around him)? He guessed his sister must've already realised it since she was so smart. He sighed, he hadn't wanted to bring his sister, but she'd insisted and had asked Kacchan when he'd still refused. The blonde could never say 'no' to her, he'd instantly agreed and had threatened to explode anyone who said no. Izuku was afraid of her finding out about the extent of his bullying... he had a feeling his sister could be very, very dangerous when she was angry.

They'd decided to meet up and have hotpot at a fancy place since this was probably the last time they'd all meet up again. They were greeted with cheers and applauses from his classmates on getting into U.A. Izuku felt warm, even though they weren't close, their appreciation was genuine. Suddenly everybody looked at Fumiko. "Woahhh, Katsuki! I thought you weren't interested in dating! You never told us you got such a hot girlfriend. U.A. plus a hot girl who can deal with your anger, you've lucked out this time, huh", one of Kacchan's friends grinned at him.

Before Kacchan could say anything, Fumiko interrupted, "We're not dating, so you've got that wrong. Also, how can you just assume that Izuku sweetie over here isn't my boyfriend?", her voice turned coquettish at the end, and she kissed Izuku on the cheek whilst hugging him (in a way Izuku had a feeling siblings usually didn't… no sister would slowly run her hands over her brother's chest right?) and giving everybody else the side-eye. Izuku inwardly winced, a direct rejection! That would've definitely hurt the blonde's ego. On the outside, he lightly patted her back (in a very brotherly fashion!). He couldn't lie but he could be affectionate with his sister in public, even if Kacchan looked at him as if he were dead meat.

"No way! Midoriya's got a girlfriend!? And such a hot girl on top of that!", the same guy screamed. Everybody looked at them in surprise. What shocked everyone was Katsuki's glare, which meant that the blond was jealous and interested in the girl, especially since he didn't comment anything against her. Normally, he would've called her an extra or some other name. "Wow, Midoriya! When did that happen?", a girl from his class asked him whilst looking at his sister enviously. Izuku guessed it was because his sister was so beautiful… after all, it wasn't as if the girl was interested in him. "Hmmm, I met this cutie in the admissions test. I found him very cool because he saved another person and nearly broke his body in the process", Fumiko replied truthfully, Izuku noted. She wasn't lying; she was just hiding facts.

Everybody winced at her words. Izuku realised it was because of the part where he 'broke his body'. "Wow, Midoriya we didn't know that. Sorry for inviting you if you were resting", one of his classmates apologised. "Ohh, you don't have to worry about that. U.A. has an excellent medical facility. Besides, I've been taking care of Izu-baby here", Fumiko purred whilst nuzzling against his neck. Izuku blushed at her antics… his sister was good at this! Did she date a lot in the past or was this the result of watching too many dramas? "So U.A. and a girlfriend! Woah, Midoriya who'd you pray to these days? I mean no offence but there's no way a quirkless person like you could just get into U.A. Did you know anybody in the staff?", another classmate questioned. Izuku gave a fake smile, nobody believed in him and was about to reply when Fumiko cut him, "I just said that he saved another person at the cost of his health. What makes you think that he isn't fit to be a hero? Are you sure you don't need to visit the ENT or something?", she sneered with a dark expression. Izuku didn't like where this was going and quickly interrupted, "Hahaha, thanks guys, I somehow got the 7th rank but Kacchan over here got the first rank!" This fact distracted everybody, and people began singing praises of Kacchan.

"Why didn't you let me finish, 'Zuku? I wasn't even going to touch him. That wouldn't be exactly legal", Fumiko sadly questioned him whilst tenderly rubbing his face with her hands. "Leave it Fumi. We'll never see them again most probably and if we ever do, they'd have all grown up and out of that attitude", he tried to reason with her. She shook her head, "No 'Zuku, it'll only really stop when you start standing up for yourself. Okay, let's not talk about this anymore, I want to eat the hotpot!" Izuku nodded and began eating whilst the others surrounded Kacchan who wasn't revelling in the attention as he usually would. Izuku guessed it was because his sister wasn't even looking in his direction, even as some of the girls tried to flirt with him.

As everybody settled down and began to eat, his classmates once again turned their attention toward him. "You guys are so sweet! I didn't know Midoriya can be so attentive toward his girlfriend. Oh, I've always wanted the attentive ones, but I've had bad luck. Oh yeah, we didn't catch your name. What is it?", another girl asked them. "My name is Fumiko", his sister answered calmly. The girl was thrown off a bit at the lack of a family name but quickly composed herself. "Ooohhhh! Well, with your looks, I'm not surprised that's your name. So, did you get into U.A. as well? What was your rank?", the same girl continued. "Yeah, I did manage to get into U.A. and got the first rank", Fumiko answered.

Suddenly, the entire room was silent. "I thought Katsuki came first?", one of the boys softly asked. "Yup, we got the same score for the practical test. It's a tie", she replied. "Oh… wow! You must have an amazing quirk! What is it, if you don't mind telling us, of course?!", one of Katsuki's friends quickly asked her. "Hmmm. I do mind", Fumiko nonchalantly answered whilst eating the hotpot. Izuku inwardly groaned, so much for preventing a scene and eating peacefully. Maybe his classmates wouldn't pester them anymore?

"Oh… haha. That's… ok. Enjoy your meal", the guy replied with a strained voice as the atmosphere became awkward. Fumiko ignored everyone else as she cooed, "Open your mouth darling!" Izuku blushed as everyone stared at them. This was so embarrassing! "Pass me the tofu, you shitty extra!", Kacchan yelled at one of his friends and directed all the attention to him once again. "I'm so going to reward Kacchan for this", Fumiko whispered to him as they continued eating. "Did you cheat or something? Why wouldn't you tell us about your quirk otherwise?", another boy hissed after a few minutes. "I didn't cheat. You can ask U.A. or file a case against them if you think I'm lying. As for why I'm not telling you about my quirk, it's because you're not important enough to me to know about it. I'm not a hero yet so I don't have to share my quirk with you for the time being. Ever heard of privacy?", Fumiko answered without even glancing at him. The silent table was suddenly filled with whispers of "Damn!", "Burn" and "Ouch".

"Fine! Then I'm going to challenge you to a match right now! Or are you too chicken to take part in it?!", the guy hissed. "I'm going to decline because my time is too precious and I can't afford to waste it on people like you. If you want to challenge me and lose, then you need to pay me up for taking away my precious time. And your stupid methods of provocation won't work on me. What are you anyways, five?", Fumiko snarked as she continued to feed her brother without changing her facial expression. Some of the other students began giggling at her words. The boy suddenly got up and bared his teeth at her before activating his quirk. Suddenly Fumiko's food flew away from her chopsticks and entered the boy's mouth. "Sigh, I didn't know your parents didn't feed you. Here have some more food", she sighed and offered a piece of chopped lotus root to him. "Just stop all this nonsense and eat! All this noise you guys are making is pissing me off, shitty extras", Bakugou yelled. The boy rubbed his eyes before glumly eating his food.

"Nee-chan… I appreciate you doing all that for me but was it necessary to be that harsh?", Izuku asked her as the three of them walked home. "He was rude to me first. I just gave him a dose of his own medicine without breaking the law. How was what I did harsh? You can't possibly expect me to play nice when he was accusing me of cheating? Just because I didn't want to tell him the truth about my quirk, doesn't mean I cheated right?", she asked him with a confused look on her face. "She didn't do anything wrong here. She probably did the right thing by being passive-aggressive", Katsuki defended her. 'That was what he thinks passive-aggressiveness is? No wonder he's like that', Izuku realised that his friend's thinking was quite eccentric.

"See 'Zuku. Kacchan's on my side too. It can't just be me, right?", she blinked at him and gave him the infamous 'puppy eyes'. 'Of course, he's on your side. Why would he not be on your side?!', Izuku thought sullenly but said nothing as Kacchan mumbled something that suspiciously sounded like, "I'm never leaving your side again… that'd be criminal." "I want to thank you for not revealing the fact that we're siblings in front of everyone Kacchan! I'll make some spicy curry for you sometime, okay? It's still your favourite right?", she asked him, and he furiously nodded with slightly pink cheeks.

Izuku frowned. It wasn't fair… how could Fumiko cook Kacchan's favourite dish before making him Katsudon?! "That won't be necessary Fumi. Kacchan's our friend, you'll be insulting your friendship if you want to reward him for such a small gesture. Besides you remember all the girls flocking around him today? They love giving Kacchan spicy food from time to time so he's probably bored of it. Why don't you give him something else instead?", Izuku politely and oh-so-very-kindly offered (and completely ignored the death glare he was currently receiving). He wasn't lying, some of the girls had confessed to the blonde and had tried to bribe him with his favourite food but had ultimately failed.

"Is that so?", Fumiko pouted before trying to remember what else the blonde liked other than spicy food as she ignored the voices who were telling her to call dibs on her man. "You don't need to think so much nee-san. I'm sure Kacchan won't mind if you take your time. By the way, let's go to the store and buy some food since okaa-san's going to be late as usual. I'm craving Katsudon… do you know the recipe by any chance?", Izuku slowly lead her in the direction of the local store and completely ignored his gaping friend who'd finally understood why the other boy had interrupted his food date! The little devil wanted his Fumiko to cook for him first! And he couldn't do shit about it because he could never upset his potential future brother-in-law! He should've blown up the green-haired brainiac when he had the chance… he was already dreading those moments when he'd suffer from blue-balls. Suddenly, life looked pretty bleak.

Three weeks before U.A. officially started their new academic year, the students were asked to submit their hero costume designs. Izuku had to register his 'new' quirk with the city hall to obtain his clothing allowance and was worried about giving away too much information. He'd contacted All Might to discuss the issue when his mother arrived with a jumpsuit (she'd seen the designs in his notebook earlier) for him. He was touched by his mother's consideration. He wanted to ask his mother if he got anything for his sister but decided not to in case she didn't. His mother was slowly adapting to her presence, and he decided to leave them alone. What he didn't know was that Inko had asked Fumiko if she needed anything who'd denied the offer since she wanted a customised costume.

The three of them had discussed their classes beforehand and had found out that they were all in the same class. Izuku had been overjoyed when he found out that his sister was in the same class as him. He'd been extremely worried that the teachers would put her in a different class which would've made interacting with her quite hard. Though she was an honorary student of class 1-A since she wouldn't be studying all the time with them. She'd be with them after the academics course (during lunch and the heroics course).

Whilst they focused on academics, she'd either be in the library or with the other heroes for further training and her 'protection'. Kacchan's mood had soured at that. "Tch, you're almost never going to be there. What's the point of even being in a class at all?", he mumbled. Fumiko chuckled and reassured them, "I can attend those classes if you want me to. I'm not banned from them you know; I chose not to attend them. I can bring some books to class and read them whilst the teachers teach you guys. I am planning on attending classes that focus on the dynamics between heroes and villains and certain case studies. Though I've been informed that I'll also be sharing some classes with class 1-B."

"Wow! That's amazing Fumi. You'll make more friends that way and you'll also see their quirks! But won't we all have heroics at the same time?", Izuku questioned. Fumiko sighed, "Some courses aren't applicable for me, you know. Especially ones where the professors focus on training your quirks. I'll be with class 1-B at that time." "Hmph, you'll just waste your time with those losers. Why'd you have to be so goddamn smart?", Kacchan grumbled. "You never know Kacchan… 1-B might be better than 1-A. But don't worry about not being able to spend time with me, Kacchan. We're going home together, so we will meet up anyways. And I can come over to your place if I'm missing you and vice-versa", she tried to cheer him up. "It's not proper to visit a boy's house alone in the evenings so I'll tag along with you nee-san", Izuku didn't forget to add. Fumiko frowned and lightly ruffled his hair, "This isn't the Victorian era 'Zuku. Besides, I can handle myself so don't worry about me."

"If possible, is it okay if you can tell me about the quirks of the guys in 1-B? That would be so cool!", Izuku excitedly asked her and completely ignored the part about visiting Kacchan's place. "Yeah, sure. Why not? I was planning on learning more about their quirks myself", she grinned at them and then suddenly gave them a soft smile, "Can you guys believe it? You're both finally achieving your dream. Remember the time when we'd talk about becoming heroes as kids… Heh, it's becoming a reality right now. I can also train to become your personal hero, just as I promised." "In case you extras are lacking in formal training or something, you can come over to my place where I can beat the stances into you guys. They're pretty important to learn to become someone's 'personal' hero. Besides, we have lots of books for you guys to read", Katsuki harrumphed proudly as he destroyed the moment. Fumiko giggled as Izuku sighed. U.A. was going to be a long ride.

April, Midoriya Household

"You two, do you have your handkerchief? And an extra set of tissues? Do you…", Inko anxiously asked her kids. "Yes, we have it, don't worry", Fumiko reassured her. "We're going to be late, okaa-san. We have everything so you can relax", Izuku hurriedly tied the laces of his shoes. "You two are so cool. Getting into U.A. without any quirks…", Inko began sniffling. The twins shared a look, they hadn't told Inko about One For All. Izuku blushed at the praise whilst Fumiko gave the two a soft smile. Inko had gradually warmed up to Fumiko. She was still partial to Izuku but her behaviour towards the girl had improved by leaps and bounds. Fumiko's stay was gradually convincing the matriarch that her daughter, Emiko, was still alive inside Fumiko. Izuku hoped that his mother would truly and completely come to accept Fumiko as her own one day.

They met Kacchan on their way. "Kacchan", the twins excitedly called out to him. "Can you believe it? We're finally going to U.A. today. I mean the acceptance rate for U.A. High's hero course is less than one in three hundred every year. Only four students are recommended whereas the other 36 all enter through the regular admissions test. And we're split equally into only two classes!", Izuku began rambling about U.A. Fumiko began laughing, "We all know that 'Zuku. Stop being so nervous! I'll be with you until homeroom finishes. And I'm sure Kacchan here will provide you with any help and support that you need." "Hmph", the blonde mumbled but didn't deny the offer. "Well, we're here", she suddenly announced and all of them looked at the huge building.

As the three entered U.A., Izuku began whispering, "1-A, class 1-A" to himself. Fumiko looked at Katsuki who was trying his best to appear calm (and not murder Izuku) and smiled at the two boys. "The door's huge! Could it be this large to accommodate people with mutation quirks? I wonder if it acts as a barrier of some sort…", Izuku marvelled at the sheer size of class 1-A's door. "So, who wants to enter first?", Fumiko asked them. "Ladies first", Katsuki answered. She looked at the blonde and laughed, "Okay. After all, I am the least nervous amongst the three of us anyways."

Before Kachan could come up with a retort, Fumiko slid the door open. As soon as the door opened, every student present in the class looked at them and stopped talking with each other. "Fumikage-kun!", Fumiko suddenly greeted and left the two boys to talk to somebody who had the head of a bird. Katsuki hissed at Fumikage who paid him no attention as he was busy talking to Fumiko. He then gave a nasty glare to everyone who glanced in her direction (whilst Izuku mentally groaned at the blonde's antics… at this rate the blonde would never be able to truly rest since his sister was just that beautiful).

Meanwhile, Izuku had been shocked when he saw the handsome boy who'd helped him out in choosing his mother's gift the other day. He immediately strode towards him but was stopped by the stern-looking boy who'd nearly argued with Fumiko during Present Mic's presentation. The boy introduced himself, Iida Tenya, and exclaimed how Izuku was better than him because he'd realised the real meaning behind the test. While Izuku tried to correct the bespectacled youth, he was interrupted by the brown-haired girl's (who'd stood up for him in the admissions test since he'd saved her) arrival. She began praising Izuku who could barely control his blush due to her proximity and was finding it harder to thank her as she continued speaking.

Fumiko glanced at Izuku talking to the cu-Uraraka Ochako and saw the boy with red and white hair staring at her brother (he completely fit the description of the cute boy 'Zuku had told her about). She could see that the quiet boy was interested in her brother (did the kid even realise that he was glaring at poor Ochaco?), but that interest would fade away if the latter continued to behave so politely (as if he were talking to his crush) with Uraraka. She sighed inwardly; she'd have to control the damage before it was irreparable. "That lad behaves as if he hasn't talked to a girl in centuries. He might be a closet pervert", a familiar and unneeded presence made its way into Fumiko's head. She ignored the voice that'd suddenly appeared after days and excused herself from Fumikage. She walked towards the youth and gave him a coy smile, "Hello there. My name is Midoriya Fumiko, what's yours?" The boy stared at her with a look of surprise and instead of answering her, coldly questioned her back, "You're related to Midoriya Izuku?"

Fumiko realised her brother hadn't known she was alive when the two had met. This boy in front of him had unknowingly helped in their reunion. She suddenly gave him a soft smile (thawing his cold persona a bit) which only confused him further and whispered, "Hmmmm. I am 'Zuku's older sister. Don't think too badly about him, he didn't know I was alive when he met you… it's a complicated story. In fact, I want to thank you, my brother probably wouldn't have bought anything if it weren't for you, and he wouldn't have known about me being alive. You've indirectly reunited us. To express my thanks, I'll try my best to get the two of you together, okay? Anyways, since you're handsome, my brother will fall for you in no time. Don't worry! In the meantime, I'll try to get Uraraka out of the picture, all right? Also, you haven't told me your name."

"Shoto… My name is Todoroki Shoto. And I'm glad for him and am grateful to have somehow helped you… even if I don't know how. Also, I think you've got something wrong; I've not come here to indulge in romance. We're all here to become heroes. So, it doesn't matter if he'll get together with the girl or somebody else. Besides, we have nothing to do with each other. We just coincidentally met each other", the boy began talking seriously but his voice turned morose towards the end.

Fumiko sighed, "Heroes are humans too. It's not bad to focus on your ambitions but to only live for them and neglect everything else… that's nothing but a tragedy. I can't imagine pushing everyone away for the sake of your goal. It's like having a family but purposely pushing them away and living like a person with no relatives. That'd make you so lonely, Shoto." Shoto looked at her with wide eyes as Fumiko softly smiled at him. He didn't want to become like Endeavour… the man had an excellent family but ended up destroying it from the inside because of his ambitions. But more importantly, had he been so focused on rejecting the man that he was slowly and unknowingly becoming like him? And… why was she looking at him like that? As if she knew his circumstances? The way she'd called out his name, it felt like his mother (though he secretly wondered if he should correct her usage of his first name).

Before he could say anything, she continued, "Well, the choice is yours. What I'm trying to say is that you can date people and train at the same time. You should get used to having multiple priorities, you can't expect to become a hero if you can't do multiple things at once. Anyways, it's all up to you. This might sound cheesy, but some things are determined by fate and others by your own decisions. You meeting my brother was fate but whether you want to get together with him is another matter, one that can only happen if you choose to do so. I know you're interested in my brother, even if you don't get it yourself and I'm here to help whenever you're ready. Until then, I hope we can become good friends, Shoto", she extended her hand.

Todoroki stared at her. He did find Midoriya Izuku cute, he'd often thought about the other boy after their meeting at the gift shop. The green-haired teen had a brilliant smile, and his personality was so like his mother's (before the incident occurred). What was up with these siblings (twins?) reminding him of his mother? And their lives were similar too (though his eldest brother wasn't alive). And now that they were in the same class, a part of him was excited to get to know the other boy. To check if his hair was as soft as it seemed or as curly as it appeared. If he really had countless freckles or if he could ever count them in this lifetime.

But then he'd think about him, and that part simply vanished into thin air. The girl in front of him seemed stubborn. Her words also struck a chord in him; he didn't want to become like him… neglecting everything else in the favour of a single dream. There was no harm in getting to know the cute boy and maybe his days wouldn't be so bleak if Izuku did like him. He barely smiled at the girl (who beamed at the sight) and shook her hand, "It'll be my pleasure to obtain an acquain-friend like you. Thank you, Midoriya Fumiko."

Ever since Fumiko slid towards the boy with dual hair colours, Katsuki had been closely observing them whilst barely replying to the others who had tried to approach him. He gritted his teeth as Fumiko softly smiled at the other boy and whispered something to him and proceeded to shake his hand. It was unfair! Why didn't she notice him?! He could see it! For a moment, they'd looked at each other so deeply that the world had ceased to exist… just like when she'd met him. So, it wasn't just him! He wanted to scream at her and hug her tightly enough to suffocate her so that she'd be too dazed to think about other people. Maybe they'd already reached the stage where she was asking for his favourite dish so that she could cook it for him or where she was asking for his address so that he could help her in her training. And why wasn't Izuku cock-blocking split head and eyes?! He'd explode the green-haired menace one day!

As he put his legs on the table, he was verbally assaulted by the bespectacled guy who was talking with Izuku. Whilst arguing with the guy, he subtly paid attention to Fumiko who was looking at him with a fond expression on her face. He felt his heart speed up at the sight and cursed himself. Damn it! One look and he'd already forgiven her… she'd completely wrapped him around her little finger. But that look had to mean something, right? She wasn't giving split head and eyes or gothic guy soft and loving looks, was she? Hah! Those suckers could just get lost! He was the winner of her heart after all!

"Go somewhere else if you want to play at being friends", a voice suddenly interrupted the entire classroom. Everybody turned to look at a man lying inside a sleeping bag outside the classroom who continued, "This is the hero course. Okay, it took eight seconds for you kids to become quiet. Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough". He slid out of his sleeping bag. Izuku realised that the man before them was a pro-hero as well since he appeared to be a teacher here but didn't recognise him since none of the other teachers he'd seen before looked this worn out.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shota", the man continued. "Homeroom teacher?", everybody except Fumiko nearly hissed at his appearance. Todoroki noticed that the other girl had initially marginally widened her eyes at his appearance and then closed off her face to a more neutral expression. He wondered if she'd met him before. "Put this on and gather at the ground, quickly", Aizawa continued as if nothing happened and pointed to a sports uniform inside his sleeping bag. "Also, Fumiko you can leave right now if you wish to", he called her out as everyone stared at her in surprise and shock. Fumiko shook her head since she was interested in seeing what the hero course looked like.

Author's notes: Well, to be honest, this did not go out the way I was planning to. But I think my original version would've been waaayyyy lengthier and more dialogue focused. Please comment your views and I hope to see y'all again.
