A/N: I don't own the rights to any of the Percy Jackson series or it's characters. That right gaoes to Rick Riordan. I also don't own the rights to Animorph including it's title.
I am, however, the person who posted 'The Tales of...' series.
This is not a crossover of the Percy Jackson series with the book/tv series Animorph, despite what you might think from the title. I just thought it be a proper name for the ability to turn into animals since that's why the tv/book series 'Animorph' was called that in the first place.
Also, ever since I got my latest Laptop I been stuck using Google Docs and Copy and paste my chapters and for some reason when I save what I paste any formats I made is turn to normal format. I even have to bold the chapter titles, but as I'm sure you noticed sometimes I forget to do that. So anything I normally itallilize like thoughts come out normal text. A/N at the beginning and end of each keep the format changes because I add them without copying and pasting from google doc.

Hades Finally Comes to Save the Day
By the time we got to the street, it was too late.
Campers and Hunters lay wounded on the ground. The bronze dragon laid across the street as though he was in force shut down. Beckendorf and Silena were laying next to the dragon, hopefully alive. Clarisse must've lost a fight with a Hyperborean giant because she and her chariot was frozen in a block of ice. The centaurs were nowhere to be seen. Either they'd panicked and ran or they'd been disintegrated-possibly both.
The Titan army ringed the building, standing maybe twenty feet from the doors. Kronos' vanguard was in the lead: Ethan Nakamura, the dracaena queen in her green armor, and two Hyperboreans. I didn't see Prometheus. The slimy weasel was probably hiding back at their headquarters. But Kronos himself stood right in front with his synthe in his hand.
The only thing standing in his way was...
"Chiron," Annabeth said, her voice trembling.
If Chiron heard us, he didn't answer. He had an arrow notc hed, aimed straight at Kronos' face.
As soon as Kronos saw me, his gold eyes flared. Every muscle in my body froze. Then the Titan lord turned his attention back to Chiron. "Step aside, little son."
Hearing Luke call Chiron his son was weird enough, but Kronos put contempt in his voice, like son was the worst word he could think of.
"I'm afraid not." Chiron's tone was steely calm, the way he getsw when he's really angry.
I tried to move, but my feet felt like concrete. Annabeth, Grover, and Thalia were straining too, like they were just as stuck.
"Chiron!" Annabeth said. "Look out!"
The dracaena queen became impatient and charged. Chiron's arrow flew straight between her eyes and she vaporized on the spot, her empty armor clattering to the asphalt.
Chiron reached for another arrow, but his quiver was empty. He dropped the bow and drew his sword. I knew he hated fighting with a sword. It was never his favorite weapon.
Kronos chuckled. He advanced a step, and Chiron's horse-half skittered nervously. His tail flicked back and forth.
"You're a teacher," Kronos sneered, "Not a hero."
"Luke was a hero," Chiron said. "He was a good one, until you corrupted him."
"FOOL!" Kronos voice shook the city. "You filled his head with empty promises. You said the gods cared about me!"
"Me," Chiron noticed. "You said me."
Kronos looked confused, and in that moment Chiron struck. It was a good maneuver-feint followed by a strike to the face. I couldn't have done better, myself, but Kronos was quick. He had all of Luke's fighting skill, which was a lot. He knocked aside Chiron's blade and yelled, "BACK!"
A blinding white light exploded between the Titan and the centaur. Chiron flew into the side of the building with such force the wall crumbled and collapsed on top of him.
"No!" Annabeth wailed. The freezing spell broke. We ran toward our teacher but there was no sign of him. I morphed into a mastiff and started digging through the bricks where I could still smell Chiron. Then a ripple of ugly laughter ran through the Titan army.
"YOU!" Annabeth turned to Luke. "To think that I... that I thought-"
She drew her knife and attacked Kronos. His smug smile faded. Perhaps some part of Luke remembered that he used to like this girl, used to take care of her when she was little. She plunged her knife between the straps of his armor, right at the collarbone. The blade should've sunk into his chest. Instead, it bounced off
"Percy, go!" Thalia shouted knowing I can reach Annabeth before her.
I morphed into a cheetah and dashed toward Annabeth. Kronos swung his scythe but I grabbed Annabeth by her clothes and yanked her back, dodging the attack.
She fought me and screamed. "I HATE you!" I wasn't sure who she was talking to-me or Luke or Kronos. Tears streaked the dust on her face.
Kronos laughed. "So much spirit. I can see why Luke wanted to spare you. Unfortunately, that won't be possible."
He raised his scythe, but a dog's hol pierce the air somewhere behind the Titan army.
The enemy forces stirred uneasily. Then the strangest thing happened. They began to part, clearing a path through the street like something behind them was forcing them to.
Soon there was an aisle down the center of Fifth Avenue. Standing at the end of the block was my giant dog and two figures-one in black armor and the other in Hunters clothes. Nico and Bianca di Angelo.
"ROWWF!" Mrs. O'Leary bounded toward me, ignoring the monsters on either side. Nico and Bianca srode forward. The army fell back before him like the two of them combine radiated death in levels never seen before from a demigod much less two.
"Sorry we're late. Nico needed to prepare for battle," Bianca said.
"Children of Hades." Kronos spit on the ground. "Do you two love death so much you wish to experience it?"
"Your death," Nico said through his skull shaped helmet, "would be great for us."
"I'm immortal, you fool! I have escaped Tartarus. YOu have no business here, and no chance to live."
Nico drew his sword-three feet of wicked sharp stygian iron, black as nightmare. Bianca drew an arrow and notched it, but I noticed it wasn't the usual silver arrows of Artemis, but stygian iron like her brother's sword.
"We don't agree," both said.
The ground rumbled. Cracks appeared on in the road, the sidewalks, the sides of the buildings. Skeletal hands grasped ithe air as dead soldiers and hunters of Artemis clawed their way into the word of the living. These weren't ghost like what Bianca summoned earlier, but zombified hunters and soldiers. There were thousands of them, and as they emerged, the Titan's monsters got jumpy and started to back up.
"HOLD YOUR GROUND!" Kronos demanded. "The dead are no match for us."
The sky turned dark and cold. Shadows thickened. A harsh war horn sounded, and as the dead soldiers and Hunters formed up ranks with their guns and swords and spears, and bows and arrows, an enormous chariot roared down Fifth Avenue. It came to a stop between Nico and Bianca. The horses were living shadows, fashioned from darkness. The chariot was inlaid with obsidian and gold, decorated with scenes of painful death. Holding the reins was Hades himself, Lord of the Dead, with Demeter and Persephone riding behind him.
Hades wore black armor and a cloak the color of fresh blood. On top of his pale head was the helm of darkness: a crown that radiated pure terror. It changed shape as I watched-from a dragon's head to a circle of black flames to a wreath of human bones. But that wasn't the scary part. The helm reached into my mind and ignite my worst nightmares,my most secret fears. I wanted to crawl into a hole and hide, and I could tell the enemy army felt the same way. Only Kronos' power and authority kept his ranks from fleeing.
Hades smiled coldly. "Hello, Father. You're looking... young."
"Hades," Kronos growled. "I hope you and the ladies have come to pledge your allegiance."
"I'm afraid not." Hades sighed. "My children here has convinced me that perhaps I should prioritize my list of enemies." He glanced at me with distaste. I mouthed: I'm not the hero of prophecy. Hades gave a sigh as though it wasn't what he expected but he would take it. "As much as I dislike certain upstart demigods, it would not do for Olympus to fall. I would miss bickering with my siblings, besides Demeter of course. Speaking of which, there's one thing even the two of us would agree on-it is that you were a TERRIBLE father."
"True," muttered Demeter. "No appreciation for agriculture."
"Mother!" Persephone complained.
Hades drew his sword, a double edge Stygian blade etched with silver and a key of the dead engraved into the blade. Even from here I can tell it was complete from when I last saw it. "Now fight me! For today the House of Hades be called the saviors of Olympus."
"I don't have time for this," Kronos snarled.
He struck the ground with his scythe. A crack spread in both directions circling the Empire State Building. A wall of force shimmered along the fissure line, separating Kronos' vanguards, my friends, and me from the bulk of the two armies.
I morphed back to human form in confusion.
"What's he doing?" I muttered.
"Sealing us in," Thalia said. "He's collapsing the magic barrier around Manhattan-cutting off just the building and us."
Sure enough, outside the barrier, car engines revved to life. Pedestrians woke up and stared uncomprehendingly at the monsters and zombies all around them. No telling what they saw through the Mist, but I'm sure it was plenty scary. Cars doors opened. At the end of the block, Paul Blofis and my mom got out of their Prius.
"No," I said. "Don't..."
My mother could see through the Mist. I could tell from her expression that she understood how serious things were. I hoped she would have the sense to run, But she locked eyes with me, said something to Paul, and they ran straight toward us.
I couldn't call out. The last thing I wanted to do was bring her to Kronos' attention.
Fortunately, Hades caused a distraction. He charged at the wall of force, but his chariot crashed against it and over turned. He got to his feet, cursing, and blasted the wall with black energy. The barrier held.
"Attack!" he roared.
The armies of the dead clashed with the Titan monsters. Fifth Avenue exploded into absolute chaos. Mortals screamed and ran for cover. Demeter waved her hand an an entire column of giants turned into a wheat field. Persephone changed the dracaenae's spears into sunflowers. Nico slashed and hacked his way through the enemy, and Bianca led the undead hunters to protect the pedestrians.
My parents ran toward me , dodging monsters and zombies, but there was nothing I could do help them.
"Nakamura," Kronos said. "Deal with them."
He pointed at my friends and me. He ducked into the the lobby.
For a second I was stunned. I'd been expecting a fight, but Kronos completely ignored me like I wasn't worth the trouble That made me mad.
The Hyperboreans joined Nakamura in the attack. The first one smashed at me with is clubs. I turn into an armadillo and rolled and dodge his attack until I was between his legs. Then I morphed to human form and stabbed Riptide into his backside. He shattered into a lile of ice shards. The second giant breath frost at Annabeth but she dodge it and got behind him and and jabbed her knife across backside of the giant's backside, He to turned to dust. Thalia took on Ethan Nakamura sword against hunter knives and Aegis. In terms of speed, Thalia had the advantage as she cornered Ethah but Ethan wasn't easy to take down himself as he parried her knives.
I glanced outside the magic barrier. Nico was fighting his way toward my mom and Paul, but they weren't waiting for help Paul grabbed a sword form a fallen hero and did a pretty fine job keeping dracaenae busy. He stabbed her in the gut and she disintegrated.
"Paul?" I said in amazement.
He turned toward me and grinned. "I hope that wa sa monster I just killed. I was aa shakespearian actor in college! Picked up a little swordplay!"
I liked him even better for that, but then a Laistrygonian giant charged toward my mom.
"Mrs. Jackson!" Bianca grabbed a bow and quiver from a fallen Hunter and tossed it too my mom. My mom grabbed them and notched an arrow and fired. It hit the Lastrygonian square in the head causing him to burst into flames.
"Nice one," Paul said.
"Mom, when did you learn archery?" I asked as that was a perfect shot.
My mom blew the hair out of her face. "About two seconds ago.
"Percy, I'll keep Nakamura busy! You need to stop Kronos!" Thalia shouted.
"Percy, we'll be fine. Go!" My mom said.
"Come on, Seaweed Brain!" Annabeth said. I nodded. Then I looked at the rubble pile on the side of the building. My heart twisted. I'd forgotten about Chiron. How could I do that?
"Mrs. O'Leary," I said. "Dig out chiron, Find him! Help him!"
Mrs. O'Leary bounded to the pile and started to dig. Deciding it be faster to fly to Olympus than take the elevator, I morphed into a pegasus. Annabeth and Grover climbed on my back and I flew up to Olympus.
A/N: Since Ethan never found out Percy's weak point, no point of Kronos having him come with him to Olympus, but thought at least Thalia can keep him busy. I'll explain what happened to Festus in the Lost Hero when I get to it but let's just say it's going to cause him to go into a fritz again until Leo meets him.
