Chapter 10.
Peril!
1:45 pm…
Wakko woke up to the sense that he was in a dirty and filthy abandoned warehouse. As he tried to gather his surroundings, Wakko opened his eyes and immediately, he squeezed them shut as a blinding light hit his eyes. He suddenly remembered what had happened to him last night. And he suddenly remembered how he got in here earlier this morning. Domhler had kidnapped him and there had been a struggle between the two of them, and with Wakko trying to break free. But that never happened as he now realized that he was in a filthy warehouse. And now, Wakko felt that a rope had been tied around his wrists. He immediately cleared his throat and opened his eyes again. And sure enough, he saw his wrists, all tied up in a rope. Then he saw that Domhler was standing across the other side of the room within the warehouse that he was currently being held hostage at. As Wakko tried gathering his thoughts, he weakly opened his eyes and took a breath. As he tried to remember how his getting abducted even took place, Wakko's body shook. His mind was then thrusted to the fact that he had not even eaten anything since he was kidnapped. So it was no wonder why he felt so weak. And soon enough, Wakko started shivering, as if he was cold. Suddenly, he felt his eyes roll into the back of his head, then his chest started heaving up and down with each passing breath, and it didn't help with the fact that he was now sputtering. And as he was sputtering, he felt beads of sweat pop up on his forehead.
Shoot! I haven't ate anything since what happened to me. Don't die.
Wakko suddenly—and weakly, opened his eyes. Soon enough, he heard Domhler. And he heard that his captor was talking to someone on the phone. No, more like… screaming his head off at whoever was on the other line. As Wakko heard Domhler yell, he suddenly felt the urge to get up and try to convince his captor. As soon as he got to his feet, Wakko weakly limped towards Domhler. And immediately, Domhler saw that Wakko was weakly walking towards him. The man immediately got off the phone and scoffed.
"Just what the heck are you doing?" Domhler suddenly asked, annoyance evident in his voice.
Instead of an answer, Wakko suddenly collapsed to the ground, and right next to his captor's feet. Domhler immediately stepped on Wakko's chest, and immediately, the toony puppy child grunted as he felt the pain shoot through his chest.
Wakko was desperate to alleviate the pain. And his low blood sugar condition.
"Please… hear me… out…" he gasped.
Domhler suddenly let his foot off Wakko's chest. And after taking a deep breath, Wakko coughed a couple times, then he continued.
"I-it… wasn't you that… k-killed those toon fox kids… and I know it… that was all B-Butler, and… a-and Cortez… and now, if you want me a-alive… please… give me… something… p-p-please?"
Domhler immediately scoffed again and as he did, he suddenly stomped down on Wakko's chest again. And hard. Wakko immediately squeezed his eyes shut as he felt the boot stomp onto his chest. And right there, Wakko thought he felt his breastbone crack. He immediately started sputtering again as he felt himself shivering again. Domhler then turned himself around and walked away from Wakko. As he did so, Wakko opened his eyes and pushed himself back onto his feet. Wakko immediately sputtered again, catching Domhler's attention. The man immediately turned around and saw that his captive was standing on his feet. Domhler suddenly screamed and rammed himself into Wakko—who only hollered as he felt his captor's body ram into his. As soon as he hit the ground, Wakko screamed all over again as he felt Domhler's foot stomp onto his chest. Wakko was pretty sure that at this point, Domhler had cracked his breastbone even more. Domhler then took his foot off Wakko's chest, and immediately, he punched the toony puppy child right in the stomach, suddenly causing Wakko to turn himself onto his side and sputter. Domhler then turned around and walked away from the puppy child. And as he did, Wakko heard him curse himself.
"Dang that stupid inkstain! If only he really did get shredded in that stupid episode he was in! For the love of sanity!"
Wakko immediately closed his eyes and clutched his stomach.
Really now? Did he just call me an inkstain?
Wakko then reopened his eyes, and the first thing he saw was the rope tied up around his wrists had been loosened. Wakko suddenly smiled to himself as he thought of a way to convince Domhler otherwise. He immediately started rubbing his wrists together, in an attempt to get the rope off of his wrists. Wakko suddenly smiled like a little child—tongue sticking out his mouth as he saw that what he was doing was actually working.
Yes! Wahoo! It's working! It's working!
And sure enough, the rope that had been tied up around Wakko's wrists fell off as it became more loose. Wakko immediately panted as soon as his wrists were finally free from the painful rope that they were in just moments before. Then, the sound of Domhler bringing curses down upon himself reached Wakko's ears. Immediately, the puppy child tried to think of a way to slip by and escape without letting his captor know. Wakko suddenly smiled as his mind finally formed a plan for escape. But then—and unfortunately, his ears suddenly pricked. Wakko immediately heard the sound of something click. He immediately gulped as he knew very well what that sound was. Wakko knew exactly what that sound was. His eyes suddenly widened in fear as he heard footsteps coming close to him. He then was able to see the figure walking towards him, and immediately, Wakko held his breath as he realized that the person was none other than his captor, Kenneth Domhler. And Wakko immediately saw that Domhler held in his right hand, a toon gun. One of very few things that could hurt and inflict pain, or even worse… kill a toon. Wakko immediately saw that the weapon in Domhler's hand was pointing at something, or more like… someone. Wakko immediately gulped as he finally realized that he was Domhler's intended target. He opened his eyes, and just in time to see Domhler lift the toon gun up and towards him. And right there, Wakko get to his knees and sobbed, pleading with Domhler to spare his life…
"No no! Please! Heaven, no! Don't! I've got family—"
However, Wakko's pleas fell on deaf ears. Because, in that moment, Kenneth Domhler pulled the trigger on the toon gun, and immediately, a loud crack filled the air and right there, two painful yelps split the air as Wakko very suddenly felt a hot iron sharp object ram into his flesh. Into him. Wakko immediately flopped back down onto the ground, and suddenly, his mind formed an awareness that something bad had just happened to him. Wakko then felt a very sharp pain shoot through his body, especially where he felt the hot object ram into him. And right there, Wakko knew that once, again… he had been shot! And in that moment, Wakko felt a cold blooded sensation sweep over him. He immediately placed his left hand on where he had been shot, and immediately, Wakko felt that the bullet from Domhler's gun had struck him right next to his right side kidney. The other hand was stuck out , fist clenched as Wakko sputtered again, his stomach in agonizing pain. And just as he thought it was over, Wakko suddenly yipped as he suddenly felt yet another bullet from Domhler's gun strike him, and right in the chest. Suddenly, Wakko yelped, then his body tensed up a moment, then, he felt his own body go limp as he now formed an awareness that he had been shot, not once like last year… but twice! Wakko's chest suddenly heaved up and down as he tried to breathe, and nothing came out but painful coughs and sputters. Wakko then closed his eyes and blacked out, so unaware that Domhler had just turned himself around and left him, laying there on the ground of the filthy, dirty warehouse, bleeding out from his gun inflicted wounds. Leaving him to die there! It was so clear now that…
Wakko Ryan Warner was left to die…
A/N: I told you all that some serious repercussions were to be bound! And there are a certain few among you who are wondering what is going to become of Wakko. I just know it! You're wondering if he will die, aren't you? That's for the rest of Here and Now to see if that's the case. Until then,
The Lord bless you all this holiday season!
Sincerely,
JalcoFox.
