Dannyrockon122: Hey guys this is my first Danny Phantom fic and I got inspired by many self-insert fics, including a comic called The Superior Spider-Man. I was also inspired by an Danny Phantom's fic created by Hellbreaker called Cross my heart and I'll fight back.
" My head!"
Colby Belladonna is a young man in his early 20s, standing at 5'10" and weighing in at 172 lbs. He is in peak physical condition with a muscular build. He has a youthful and handsome face, darkish brown hair, and vibrant green eyes.
He is dressed in a white long sleeves button shirt, brown khaki pants, and brown shoes. On his left wrist is a silver bracelet.
He is currently looking around with confusion as he notices that he is in a such as clocks, gears, and bells.
Colby looked around the place and he notices the place with some familiarity in his eyes as it is ClockWork Lair from Danny Phantom a show he used to watch as a kid.
Colby asked," How did I end up here in Clockworks's lair? The last time I remember I was on a train then everything went black!" His mind drifted to the train causing his eyes to widen in realization.
" The Train!"
He remembered now!
He was boarding a train after leaving out for class when heard a voice intercom on the train about " an uncontrolled train" then boomed everything went black.
Colby muttered," How am I here? Am I dead?" He wondered to himself with a voice of concern in his tone.
"Maybe I can answer your question."
Colby jumped into a fighting stance as he was taken by surprise by hearing a voice and he see the voice belong to the owner of the lair that he found himself in.
The voice belongs to a male who is a violet-cloaked ghost with a pale blue face and a scar across his left eye. A clock-like mechanism is embedded in his holding staff. He is flickering through different phases of age as he shifts into an elderly state and then a baby state. His red eyes are twinkling with amusement.
This is Clockwork Master of Time.
Clockwork smiled," Hello there young Belladonna. I don't need to introduce myself as I see you already know my identity." He sees recognition in the young man's eyes as he relaxes his stance.
Colby stated," You are Clockwork Master of Time." He looked at the thought to be fictional but the real character was smiling.
Clockwork smirked," In the flesh! Now introduction is out of the way! I believe you have some questions ?" He see Colby had his guard up but he nodded with some caution in his eyes.
" You died in your old world young Belladonna."
Colby's fears came true as felt despair swells upside him and he wonder if he died due to an uncontrolled train collision.
Clockwork stated," Yes, you did die due to an uncontrolled train collision! Before you ask how did I know what you were going to ask I know everything remember ?" He sees Colby's mouth was about to open but he closes making Clockwork chuckle.
Colby stated," Seem to slip my mind. So … umm Mister Clockwork why did you bring me into your lair?" He looked at Time ghost with a curious expression on his face along with some concern.
Clockwork stated seriously," Straight to point eh? Well to cut right to the chase I need you to take the place of Danny Fenton / Phantom." He sees Colby's face shows surprise before he narrowed them.
Colby asked," Take the place of Danny? Why? " He looked at the Time Ghost with a concerned expression.
Clockwork stated," Well Young Belladonna due to a careless wish made by young Samantha and Desiree young Daniel doesn't remember who is." He sees Colby's eyes shine with recognition.
Memory Blank is the first episode of Danny Phantom Season 2 where in which Danny and Sam get into an argument, ending with her saying she wished she never met him, with Desiree perfectly placed to overhear and grant the wish.
Colby asked," But wait didn't it get resolved in the end with Samantha learning her mistake?" He recalled watching the episode as a kid.
Clockwork stated," In the canon timelines, yes but in this timeline, Samantha is too stubborn to admit she is wrong causing Danny to not regain his memories leaving Desiree to her own devices." He sees Colby looking stunned by the new development about the timeline.
Colby frowned as he learned in this timeline Sam Manson and personally Colby couldn't understand why people always shipped these two together as Sam has proved time and time again to be like her parents and Paulina whom both she bemoaned to be shallow and controlling.
Hypocrite much.
She doesn't want Danny using his powers to get revenge on that bully Dash or using it for childish mischief but when she sees something that screams injustice like cars or animals being locked then Danny is allowed to use his powers.
Colby asked," Why the idea of becoming one of my favorite characters is interesting in all but why me? I don't have a heroic bleeding heart like Danny. Sure, I can defend myself and I can be smart when needed, but why was I selected to replace Danny?" He wanted to know and he knows Clockwork has answers.
Clockwork smirked," That will be telling, but anyways Young Belladonna do you accept?" He shifts to his elderly form as he awaits the answers of the young man before him.
Colby thought about what was in front of him. He has a chance at life again but someone else lives and takes their place.
See what that character sees.
See a new world.
Meet new people.
And the cherry on top is he got superpowers and becomes a hero.
Negative side he deals with public opinion.
He has enemies.
Parents who are airheads who don't know the ghost they are trying to kill is their son.
Bullies who have nothing better to do but ruin your day.
Teachers with their heads so far up the bullies' backside that they are oblivious to the bullying.
A crazed villain who is lusting at your mom and want to make you his son.
But the worse of it all is a possible future where you became a villain.
Colby thought," Crap how come Danny didn't become insane with all the crap he been dealing with? Who knows? Maybe there is a silver lining to this deal." He hopes his decision doesn't come back to bite him on the ass.
Colby stated hesitantly," Clockwork I accept but on the condition, I keep my memories and along with another thing as well." He sees Clockwork's face shows amusement and intrigue as he shifted towards the infant state.
" What is it."
Colby asked," Can I change the suit? "He doesn't want to wear spandex even though he grew up reading superhero comics.
Clockwork simply chuckled as he shifted into his adult form at Colby's question making said boy furrow his brow.
" Up to you Young Belladona and there is one thing I neglected to mention to you about this timeline."
Colby raised an eyebrow as he felt this was something he should take with him when he become Danny Fenton/Phantom as he beckoned the now elderly spirit to go on.
Clockwork stated," This timeline will be a bit different than the one you watched." He sees Colby's eyebrows raised up disappearing in his hair.
Colby asked," How so ?" He looked deeply interested in the "new timeline" he is being sent to but should he be worried?
Clockworks stated," Well like a colleague of mine once stated. Spoilers. Now let's get you sent your new body." He pointed his staff at Colby then he opened a clock like a portal for Colby.
Colby looked at the portal with a bit of unease but he closes his eyes and count to ten as he marched towards it then slowly walks through it heading to his next destination.
Clockwork muttered," Good luck Superior Phantom." He shifted towards his infant state than his adult state.
The ghost of time turned his attention to portals that he uses to view other times and places to see what appeared to be Amity Park's park where a certain figure lay on the ground unconscious.
A zoom of the portal show the figure to be a young man who has fair skin, black hair and blue eyes. He wears a white T-shirt with a thin red collar, red cuffs, and a red oval in the middle, light blue jeans and red-and-white sneakers.
This is Daniel " Danny" James Fenton aka or F.K.A Danny Phantom the half ghost superhero who now lost his memories but now he is stirring as he gets off the concrete ground.
The awaken halfa rises up and he takes in his surrounding with a careful expression as his eyes widened as he walked towards the fountain.
The young man bend forwarded and he let out a gasp as he see his reflection and he see staring back him is the face of Danny Fenton aka Danny Phantom.
Colby or Danny muttered," So I guess it wasn't a crazy thing huh?" He looked at Danny or his reflection in the water.
He sighed as it going to be hard getting used to now being a cartoon character now.
Danny looked down at Danny no .. his clothes and he sighed distastefully.
Danny muttered," I need a wardrobe change immediately but I guess this will do for now.'' The boy begins to head in the direction of his new home.
A couple of minutes Danny is walking down the street and he see Danny's …no ( he really going to get used to this) his home which is Fentonwork which is totally a sight to see since back when he was Colby he was used to seeing it on a television screen.
Danny muttered," If I was younger I would be shouting at the top of my lungs at how awesome it." He kept walking towards the house of his new body and made his way towards the stone steps of Fenton Works.
Danny stares up at the OP Center and the Fenton Works sign with amazed look on his face as he couldn't believe about to set up in Fenton Works.
Danny muttered," It now or never." Danny takes a deep breath as he prepared himself mentally and physically to walk up the steps then enter the doors of FentonWorks.
Danny slowly but steadily walked up the steps then he made his way towards the door of Danny's ( He shook his head and reminds himself that he is Danny now)... his house then he knocked on the door.
Danny hears some footsteps along with someone turning the locker revealing it to be a beautiful woman with a curvy figure. She has violet eyes, shoulder-length auburn hair, and red lipstick.
She is wearing a blue rubber jumpsuit with long black gloves and boots. Her suit also has a black belt with one pouch for her is Madeline " Maddie " Fenton the mother of Jasmine and his mother.
But right now she had a stern expression on her face making Danny confused until it dawned on him that he might have a broke curfew.
Maddie stated sternly," Daniel James Fenton you are late! I called you twelve times on your phone!" She looked at Danny with her eyes narrowed with worried and disappointment which made Danny take back.
Danny thought," Whoa Mad…no mom .. is genuinely concerned for Danny ….ugh dammnit! Me." It definitely going to get used to being in someone else 's life but he can try to figure out how to adapt to this world.
"Well?"
Maddie's voice cuts the interloper's thoughts as he sees her giving him a scolding look as well with her tapping her foot repeatedly.
Danny thought," I need to come up with something that might get me out of trouble."He sees Danny's ( He mentally whacked himself on the head)mom running out of patience until he remembered something.
" I was attacked by a ghost!"
Maddie's stern expression shifted into horror and concern as she dragged Danny into the house while missing his look of relief.
Note: Here is the first chapter of the Superior Phantom and we meet the person who will take the place of Danny. We don't know much about Colby. The world of Danny Phantom will be in for shocked that a new person is in Danny's body. I will take elements of DC and Marvel along with Image comics for the Phantom's persona. Am I wrong about Sam being shallow and a hypocrite?
