Chapter 8. Born under the moon.
Ben grinned again as he unrolled his sleeve of his green coat which sewed together now and revealed the omnitrix and pressed the dial and selected an alien.
"Let's try this one for size!" Exclaimed Ben as he slammed the core down and transformed into…….
"-HUMONGOSAUR!-"
Humungousaur is a somewhat humanoid dinosaur standing about twelve feet tall with hard skin that is colored brown on its outer side and beige on its inner side. Both Gwen and Azmuth share these traits as Humungousaur.
His species is called the Vaxasaurian from an alien Dino world called planet Terradino.
Although despite being currently 12 feet tall and his quite muscular as Humungousaur but one of his abilities are size alternation which stood over 60 ft tall and this size might slow him down a bit it does double down his Enhanced Strength, Durability, Agility, Reflexes and Enhance Jumping Stegosauride Features.
Ben as Humungousaur roar challengingly at the Cyclop who roar back and it was about to push him back to the ground as they held hands however Despite being pushed back Ben as Humungousaur uses his strength to fight off the Cyclop and as he pushed it towards the door he uses his size alteration and started growing with thicker scales, spikes and armoured scaled on his shoulders and was now a bit taller than the Cyclops which shocked the monster as it was completed pinned on the 40 ft. Metal Door using this at his disadvantage Humungousaur grinned and kneed the monster in the gut which cause a total pain from it as it roar and pushed Humungousaur off him to ease the pain from it's stomach seeing this as his chance to finish it off Ben charged in wasting no time at all as it widened it's eye in horror as he was totally smacked to the ground his head explode upon impact and Ben's paws have yellowish blood now as he pulls away from it's smashed head and with the beep of the Omnitrix Ben changes back to human.
"Man, that was tough, you guys really did give me a good workout." Ben mutters to the corpses as he eats some monster meat from it and pulls out their keystones. "Now then..." He glanced at the stone door. "What's your deal?" That's where he notices that it has some weird locking mechanism. 'Hmm, Passcode lock? Magic words?' He then remembered the stones and started studying both the door and the keystones from the Cyclops.
"I see, so the Cyclops themselves are the keys to the door huh?" Ben glances at the door after tearing the keystones out of the monsters carcass. "I'll leave your flesh for later." He said and then soon started using the keystones as keys for the 40ft door it magically opens and as he went inside it was nothing but pitch black until he saw a beautiful sight.
INTRO SEQUENCE
"Who's there?" A voice speaks with a tender voice and Ben sees a beautiful girl who has blonde hair while her eyes are bright crimson. She looks like her appearance when she was seventeen years old.
"Is that a person?" Ben asks about the person who was sealed inside of the box. He was thinking about how this girl came to be sealed but he did not think about it. "Well, I should be going now." He was telling the girl that he turned around and began to walk out of the room.
"Wait! Please don't leave me!" The girl speaks with a loud voice because she did not want to see her only hope leave as the dark green vines begin to form around the square and room again. "Please help!" She was asking for the stranger with a soft voice because she did not want to be left alone again.
"Not doing it." Ben responds back to the helpless girl with a firm voice, and he was not going to help someone besides, he might end up making a mistake on it. He begins to walk out of the large room, but he stops inside of his tracks when he hears soft tears hitting on the solid ground then his head turns to see the girl was crying.
"Please I was betrayed by someone that I trusted." The girl tells Ben with an honest tone and his eyes look down at the solid ground with his hair covering his eyes remembering how his so-called classmates betrayed him and made him delayed mission in preventing their world from annihilation by a possible alien invasion conspiracy. The Girl began to look up and saw Benjamin in front of her, which she was surprised to see someone was going to listen to her story.
"Okay… So, you were locked up in this labyrinth." Ben told the girl with a calm voice, and she was staring at him with eyes filled with confidence that Ben was not going to leave her since he wanted to hear her story first before he makes the decision to release her or not. "However, I want to hear your story because I would rather not release you if you plan to lie to me than kill me." He told her with his comfortable voice becomes serious and determined to end her life. If this girl plans to do anything against him when he releases her then he will continue his journey to completing the labyrinth alone.
"Very well, I shall tell you my story." The girl speaks with a tender voice, and she closes her eyes to where she starts her story for the young man to listen to it. "I'm a vampire." The vampire girl confesses to what she is. "A natural one, I was so powerful that I worked hard to protect my people but then one day." She was now on the verge of crying. "One of my retainers said that I was no longer needed, it was actually my uncle he then said that he was going to be king to our people and I was fine with that."
"So you're a royalty?" Ben asked like this girl's story came out from one of those K-dramas and romantic animes but he couldn't help but feel sick on how her family just did that to her.
"However he told me that I was a danger because I could be killed and so he sealed me down here for eternity because I could not be killed." The girl told Ben.
"What do you mean couldn't kill you?" Ben asked.
"Unlike all vampires, I can regenerate any fatal wounds I was given. I have instant healing powers." Ben soon realized that this girl might have some kind of healing factor which might come in handy in the future.
"Is that your immense power?" Ben asked the girl and she shook her head saying it wasn't.
"No, I can manipulate mana without incantations or circles." The Vampire Princess confessed.
'Hmm, interesting the only beings I know that fits that role of power was Ben Prime's Gwen who's actually a half quarter anodite and if I have to remember Grandpa told me a little about more our Grandma after the time war with Ben prime's Vilgax and he told me that like Ben prime's Grandmother is in fact an alien called anodites a masters of manipulating Mana the life energy of our universe. Could that be also the anomaly my status plate detected? Is it possible that both Gwen and I inherited her powers?' Ben thought. "Not only can she instantly regenerate but she also manipulates and controls mana but is immortal too."
"Please, I beg off you. Help me." Ben heard the poor girl plead for his help as she had hoped for him as her hero and as he glanced back up to the girl looking at her beautiful red eyes who's longingly looking for help after a long thinking he sighs hoping he's not gonna regret this as he made a decision to help her.
Ben sighs at this and makes his decision as he uses both of his hands and extends towards the crystal as he feels the intense energy pushing back on him, but Ben screams, "I'm not so weak like before!"
Ben's eyes glowed red and instead of having circles in both hands he instantly had mana formed around his hands and started crumbling the crystal prison to pieces.
The seal on the Girl didn't want to let her go.
Ben concentrates on releasing the Girl as the crystal begins to break apart.
"It's breaking! Keep going!" Said the Girl.
Ben pours all his anodite energy into the crystal and breaks it apart, which the Girl falls forward into him.
He started glowing green now as he panted heavily out of breath as he never uses that much mana. Ben manages to catch her and starts catching his breath. He then takes a drink from his Ambrosia.
The Girl places her hands onto his hands as Ben is surprised by her touch, but she was slightly cold, but his warmth was interesting to her.
"You want some?" Ben asked her if she wanted some Ambrosia.
She shakes her head 'no' then her words are, "You're very warm."
"Well, I'm alive, that kinda comes with the warmth." Ben told her Shily due to her being naked.
The Girl nods at Ben as she pulls her hands away with her question. "What is your name?"
"The name is Ben, Ben Tennyson." Ben introduces himself.
"Ben." She says his name and repeats the name as Benjamin shows a light smile.
"What's your name?" Ben asked.
"Give me one." The girl responded to Ben with a soft tone, and she was smiling at him.
"You want me to give you a name?" Ben asked, raising an eyebrow.
She nods at Ben as her lips form a warm smile.
"What's wrong with your old one? Did you forget it?" Ben asked her confused.
"I don't need my old name anymore. I want you to give me a new one." The girl said not wanting to be part of her past anymore and moved on to a new future.
Ben then starts thinking about what to name this Girl. "How about Yue." He told her with a soft tone.
"Yue?" Asked the Girl.
"Yes, from where I come from, it means Moon in the Japanese dialect, you kinda remind me of the moon when shrines brightly with the stars, and your golden hair reminded me of the moon in the night sky." Ben explained to Yue as her cheeks turned light red. " Huh? What's wrong? You don't like it?" He asked, starting to think the Girl didn't like the name.
"No, I love it." Yue responds to Ben and hugs him, making him blush.
Ben hugs Yue back as he enjoys the hug, then they pull away as they look at one another, which her lips look inviting as Ben comes closer about to kiss Yue for the first time. His instincts grab Yue to jump away as small black spears towards him, which they just missed him.
"What the hell?!" Exclaimed Ben.
A giant dark brown scorpion with large tails as Ben wanted to spend time with Yue.
"I'm guessing that monster up there was guarding you, right?" Ben asked Yue.
Yue nods back at Benjamin, saying he was going to take this monster down. "Here, take this." Ben then takes off his fur coat and gives it to Yue, "You got to wear something." Grinned Ben.
Yue covers her breasts with the fur coat and blushes. "Pervert." Ben just snorted at this and wink.
"My apologies, but you look beautiful, Yue." Ben tells her with a firm tone.
This made Yue blush hard.
"Now, hurry up and get on my back." Ben told her and Yue placed herself onto his backside, which he felt her breasts on his backside, but now it wasn't the time for that.
"Okay, you freak, you either move out of the way or else you will become my dinner!" Shouted Ben to the giant scorpion.
Yue couldn't believe that Ben would eat a monster as she had many questions for him.
Thanks to having both arms Ben started blasting bullets and energy blasts which he surprisingly still has enough left to hold off this monster.
Ben then began to shoot at the giant scorpion, but his attacks weren't having any effects on it.
"Dammit!" He dodges the blast then keeps shooting his bullets and energy blast at the creature trying to find a weakness.
"Damn, it's shell is too thick, I can't hurt it." Stated Ben.
Ben continues to dodge the giant scorpion's attacks while still shooting at it. He then jumps up and the giant scorpion shoots its needles at Ben, but he uses his magic to blow the wind away and continues to shoot at it, but it is still not having any effect on it. Once Benjamin landed on the ground, he threw some flash-bang grenades at it, temporarily blinding it. Ben quickly went for cover to reload his gun as he ran out 20 bullets.
The giant scorpion quickly regains its vision and starts to attack where both Ben and Yue were, but they quickly move out of the way. Ben then used his quick step to get himself on the air and shot at the giant scorpion, but once again, it did not affect.
"Shit, nothing I do seems to work. I need to crack its shell if I want to take it down." Ben said. 'And I can't transform right now due to me having Yue in my back and holding two handguns prevents me from reaching the Omnitrix.' He thought to himself.
Yue then gets off of Ben and wraps the fur coat around her body.
"Huh? Something wrong?" Ben suddenly asked in confusion and worry.
Just then, Eve did the unexpected and bit Ben's neck, and began to suck on his blood. That's when Benjamin felt his energy was increasing thanks to Yue as he made a solid wall for protection. But the giant scorpion used its magic to lower the wall.
"So, it can control the ground around itself, huh? Well guess what, that's my specialty too!" Ben proclaimed.
That's when the battle for the ground began, both Ben and the giant scorpion fighting for control of the ground.
After a minute, Yue stops drinking Ben's blood.
"That was delicious." Yue told Ben.
Yue then got off from Benjamin and began to use her power.
"§-Azure Blaze!-§" Said Yue, and a sphere of blue and white flames that were seven meters in diameter, began to crush the giant scorpion, slowly but surely melting the scorpion's shell. The sphere managed to melt three-quarters of its shell before it wore off, and Yue fell to overdue exhaustion, but Ben quickly caught her.
"Woah, easy there." Ben told her. "Those high-level spells take a lot of you."
The giant scorpion began to get back up, and it was angry after the pain it just went through.
"I know this is a lot to ask of you, and I'm sorry, but do you think you can cast that spell one last time?" Ben requested Yue.
"Yes, I can, but it won't be nearly as strong as the first one." Yue replied in a tired tone.
"Don't worry, besides I can take care of the rest." Ben responds to Yue as he was smiling at her because he can tell that she's going to be a great companion or something more, "When I give you the signal, I want you to fire at him at the exact spot, understand?" He asked her.
"You got it, Ben kun." Yue responds back to Ben.
"Alright, let's do this!" Ben then runs off, while the giant scorpion focuses its attention on Ben.
Ben shot the same areas of trying to see if the great shell was breaking apart.
"Yue, NOW!" Ben called out to Yue who nodded.
Yue regenerates another large blue flame ball down towards the giant scorpion. It wasn't as big as the last one, but it was melting a small part of its shell, revealing the soft skin. This was enough for one Ben Tennyson to shoot at. He hopped on the giant scorpion and began shooting the exposed soft spot at the giant scorpion.
The Giant Scorpion was down for the count as Ben turned to see Yue.
"And that's that." Ben sighs in relief now.
"Yes, it is, and you're very strong, Benny." Yue comments about him as she shows a warm smile.
"Thanks, you were pretty good yourself." Ben complimented her.
Ben and Yue look at each other, and he builds a tent in which he turns his head towards her as he asks, "So what were you like before all this, Yue?"
"Well, like you already know, I was a princess to my people." Tue told Ben.
Ben nods at Yue to continue the story as he begins making the fire.
"So, what exactly happened?" Ben asked her.
Yue begins explaining the story of herself being a vampire princess.
