Terra came downstairs the next morning to find Hazel and Maria doing a sudoku and crossword respectively while they sipped their coffee. She noted that they were in the kitchen instead of the living room where they normally sat so she went to investigate.

She had slept well since Adrain hadn't been fussy last night. She learned why when she went into the living room and saw Jaune laying on the couch by the Christmas tree with Adrian sleeping on his chest.

She silently took a picture and sent it to Saphron who soon arrived with a sleepy eyed and barely awake Yang in tow. Saphron pointed at Jaune and watched as Yang's gaze froze on him and her head slowly tilted to the side with a borderline silly smile.

Saphron watched like the cat that ate the canary while this happened. And when Yang recognized what she was doing she instinctively snarled and in doing so woke Jaune up.

Jaune looked around and realized that it was 5 am and that he was tired since he was up all night with the baby. Without speaking he rolled off the couch and gently handed Adrian to Yang who absentmindedly took the infant while Jaune headed for the guest room he was staying in.

Yang looked at the sleeping baby and completely forgot she was mad at Terra and Saphron and smiled again at the baby. Then Yang snapped out of it and handed Adrian off to Saphron and went back to bed.

Just after Breakfast Nora stood at the computer typing up her press release pertaining to everything they had been working on. Saphron had volunteered to help contain Nora since Jaune had taken care of Adrian the night before and was sleeping off the work today.

Saphron was holding a syringe she was given that was filled with something she couldn't pronounce and was destined for Nora's right butt cheek.

That was until Adrian who had escaped from his playpen found the capture bag that Nora. he searched the bag and found the dart gun before hauling the "toy" into his lap. Saphron was getting closer to Nora who was still unaware of her when Adrian found the safety and turned it off.

Adrian would never have been able to prime the first shot but Nora left the gun primed so he didn't have to. The young boy messed with the hair trigger.

Pfft

Thwap

Saphron yelped and turned around looking at the dart in her ass before seeing Adrian with the gun. She was about to say something when her eyes rolled back and she slumped to the floor.

Nora heard her nemesis (the dart gun) and spun around to see Adrian holding the gun. "Whoa whoa Adrain put down the gun sweetie" she said, holding her arms out defensively and slowly walking towards him.

Adrian looked at Nora and accidentally pointed the gun at her when he did so. "No, no, sweetie I need you to."

Pfft,

thwap

The dart fired from the gun and sank into Nora's left breast making Nora gasp in pain and half step back. Her eyes glazed over but she had been getting resistant to the drugs in the dart so she stumbled closer for a step before Adian laughed and fired again.

Pfft

Thwap

The dart hit Nora's right breast making her groan before stumbling into a chair and passing out.

The noise had gotten the attention of the rest of the people in the house. Yang and Blake walked into the room looking around and seeing Nora and Saphron passed out they ran to see what happened.

They heard Adrian laughing and turn to look at him.

Pfft pfft

Thwap

And dart sank into Yang's left breast and the next one missed entirely. Yang looked down at the dart and pulled it out with her eyes glazing over and turning red. Blake recognized the nearly feral state Yang was in and knowing that she was about to try and kill Adrian in a doped up rage Blake took one for the team, grabbing the syringe Saphron dropped and injecting it into Yang's rump.

Yang made a defeated noise before flopping on her face. Blake knew she had Adrian's attention now and knew what was probably about to happen. She would live with the humiliation if it saved the boy's life though.

Pfft pffft

Thwap thwap

Both fired darts hit Blake on in her left buttock and the other in her left thigh. Blake's eyes instantly rolled back and she crumpled to the floor.

Terra was about to run into the room to stop the chaos before Hazel grabbed arm and pulled her back. "What are you doing? We need to get in there and…" Hazel held up his hand and Ren, who was waiting on the other side of the doorway with Weiss explained.

"He has one shot left and there is no way he could hurt I am just going to wait behind this wall until he shoots the wall and then we can get the gun back."

Terra looked appalled. "He has a gun he could shoot himself"

Ren shook his head in a "no" fashion.

"He is too small; he couldn't be on the barrel end and still reach the trigger." Ren went back to waiting confident that there was no danger when Terra saw Ruby.

"Ruby, can you run in there and grab Adrian before he hurts someone?" Terra asked.

Weiss was about to say something trying to get Ruby's attention. "If you do that then…"

Ruby ignored her partner and said. "Yeah I think so" before she disappeared into the room.

She zipped back in just as fast as she left holding Adrian minus the dart gun proudly offering him to his mother. Weiss looked into the room and as she feared the dart gun was launched into the air when Adrian dropped it and was now falling towards the floor, the muzzle pointed at Ruby.

There was a split second choice where Weiss could save her partner or not. Then Weiss remembered that Ruby had refused to listen to her and with an evil smirk she just stepped back from the doorway like everyone else and let Ruby gamble with her safety.

The dart gun hit the floor and just like Weiss expected the free floating firing mechanism went off. And fired the last dart with a

Pfft

Followed by a

Thwap

Ruby's eyes went wide and she fell forward into Weiss arms with the last dart stuck in her. "Next time listen to me" Weiss chided as Ruby's eyes rolled back.

"Well this is going to take a few minutes to clean up" Ren joked as he set about carrying all of the sleeping people to beds.

Jaune walked in annoyed that the racket had woken him up, looked around and saw the chaos. "What the hell happened in here?" he asked dumbfounded.

Maria, who hadn't moved from the chair she had been sitting in the entire time, laughed and said. "Nora left the bag of goodies on the floor and the baby got the gun."

Jaune rubbed his eyes and looked at the bag of capture gear and then looked at the case of darts. He was reaching for it when Ren slapped his hand away and grabbed both Blake and the bag saying. "Don't even think about it, those things are expensive and the boy already wasted nine of them."

Jaune growled but he knew Ren was right.

"While you're here, bring Yang to the team RWBY dorm would you." Ren said as he followed Weiss who had Ruby.

When Jaune scooped Yang up bridal style Terra smiled widely and took a surreptitious picture to add to the evidence pile.

Yang opened her eyes slowly and felt the bruising on her chest. She remembered what happened and made a note of laying a beating on whoever was to blame for Adrian getting a loaded dart gun.

She was pretty sure that it was Nora's fault somehow but she wasn't sure. That was when Yang noticed that she couldn't move her left arm, and that she was currently snuggling with Jaune.

Yang acted the confident bombshell but this was honestly the most intimate thing she had ever done with a boy and when she felt Jaune roll away from her and she saw the modest but still present muscles on his chest and abdomen she realized that this was in fact a man she was sleeping with.

Yang felt the blood run to her face and her heart rate spike until she noticed that Jaune was shaking slightly. Yang's heart froze when she recognized what most people in the know called Hunter's horror.

For some reason having an active aura makes your body behave differently when you dream. Jaune's body wasn't letting him move, but his mind and for lack of a better word his soul was trying to.

Yang was pretty sure it wasn't a good dream based on the sudden jerky motion he was moving with. She also knew that waking up a hunter like that had risks and if you did so you either did it from as far away from him as you could or you didn't then you better be ready to fight him until he woke all the way up.

Jaune's back was turned to her so she was going to have an easy enough time holding him and she knew from experience that waking up from these dreams was easier with someone who cared about you right there, her father had done the same for her and now she was going to do the same for Jaune.

Yang's left arm was already around Jaune's body so she wrapped her right arm around him and sat up pulling Jaune's back into her lap.

Jaune jolted awake and his hands wrapped around Yang's right arm tightly. Her right arm didn't feel pain normally but she was sure that the grip he had on it would have hurt most people

Yang pulled him close and gently whispered into his ear that it was okay and he was safe now. After a few seconds Jaune melted into her arms as his body and mind got on the same page, "you get them too huh?" Yang asked.

"Yeah, I'd bet most of us do now," Jaune explained, still not fully aware that he was cuddling with Yang. "Who do you think has it worst? Not counting your uncle and Hazel of course"

Yang needed a minute to think, she wanted to say herself. Blake had seen Adam kill and Weiss had seen people who had been killed. But every night Yang went through the horror of losing her arm. Then seeing Adam gloat and torment her.

"Adam needs to be dealt with" Yang said, changing the subject.

"His days are numbered. He has turned on the white fang and now they have turned on him. It is a matter of time before Ironwood kills him." Jaune answered

"He made it this long," Yang countered.

"He had Blake then, Ironwood would never attack him while Blake was there, '' Jaune explained. He must have figured that Yang wouldn't understand so he explained further. "The last thing Ironwood wants is for Blake to get hurt, that was why Adam was safe when she was there. Ironwood would never let Blake get hurt in order to prevent her father from joining Adam if she ever got killed."

"You think Ghira would do that?" Yang asked.

"I wanted to kill Oscar for something Ozpin did to my family who I barely remember," Jaune said. "I don't think Ironwood wanted to take that chance even if it was small"

It seemed that as Jaune woke up more he must have realized that he was currently using Yang's boobs as pillows. Yang noticed how his whole body went stiff and she laughed before letting him go and standing up.

When they got to the door they noted that something didn't look right and when they both walked into the dining room they were greeted by several people who were all looking at them and smirking.

"What are you on about?" Jaune asked knowing that they were up to something.

Saphron responded by holding her scroll out to him. The video playing on repeat was Jaune carrying Yang in his arms right past the room team RWBY was staying and right past the room the team JNR to the only unoccupied room. He seemed to think about how to open the door while still holding Yang before he growled and slammed his foot into the door.

Terra bought good, solid doors, and the ones with privacy locks had strong locks. So strong and solid that the kick from an annoyed and aura-enhanced man ripped most of the inner frame off allowing Jaune to in his sleep deprived state carry Yang inside the room and tucked them both into bed.

"Hazel fixed the door and he was surprisingly quiet about it" Terra joked.

Jaune froze in fear of what Yang was about to do to him and Yang was trying to find a way out of the line of questioning that Saphron was going to have for her. "It's time for dinner" Saphron said. "Yang, come help me with that" she added granting Yang the respite of privacy.

Yang glady went with her and once they were in the kitchen Saphron turned around and handed Yang a cloth that she was confused by until Saphron wrapped it around her and then placed Adrian within the cloth sling allowing Yang to hold the baby and still use her hands.

"You can start on prepping the sandwiches for the griddle while you tell me when you plan to marry my brother" Saphron joked, making Yang roll her eyes and groan in frustration.
