The lost redemption
- Bloody hell. – Angel says as they all see Charlie flying in the air with the big white wings. Her horns are out, she has a black crown on her head and a halo behind her. She is majestic, and more powerful, than ever.
- Are we supposed to bow or something? – Vaggie asks quietly.
- Honestly I don't know. – Mira answers with amusement.
Charlie turns to the demons.
- Don't kill each other! – all look up to her - You are one, you are not enemies.
- Ah, that is my daughter! – Lucifer sheds a tear - I knew she had it!
The demons obey her like their queen. They listen to everything she says. She continues her speech.
- There is only one enemy here. – with that she turns to Mira. The demons look at her ready to kill.
- Fuck! – Mira says.
- Ahahah now who's laughing Foxy? – Angel laughs behind her. He is so happy that Mira gets what she deserves. Alastor slowly walks in front of Mira to face Charlie.
- Princess I am not afraid to kill these demons – he looks her in the eye - and I am also not afraid to stop you if I must.
- Charlie! My dear. – Lucifer steps in front of Alastor facing Charlie - You don't want to hurt anyone here. You are better than this. Don't be like most of the demons.
Charlie hesitates for a second then looks serious again.
- It's her fault! – she point at Mira again. Lucifer continues.
- I know my sweet child, but think about the family. – he says lovingly.
- Family? – Charlie spits out the word - She lied to me! – her eyes turn red, she clenches her fist.
- Technically I didn't, you never asked about me. – Mira says softly, peaking at her behind Alastor's back.
- Shut up! – Charlie shouts at her, her voice echoes through Hell. The demons start to march in their way with weapons in their hands. Knifes up in the air ready to stab.
- Charlie! You are not a killer. – Lucifer falls back - Don't do this, don't make your people kill. – the demons surround them – You should end this war not festering it! – another meter closer - Look around! They obey you as their leader.
All of the sudden the demons stop and back up.
- Huh. – Mira breathes out the breath she was holding in.
- What? No! – Angel shouts - She fucking betrayed Charlie! She doesn't deserve to live at all!
Vaggie stands out.
- Angel! I know how you feel. But she is the reason why we could help these lost souls to go to heaven in the first place, and I'm sure we can continue to help them. Charlie listen to me! – Vaggie walks to her - This is not the end. – Charlie lands in front of Vaggie - With Mira's help we could make your dream come true! – she strokes her cheek - Don't throw this away! Please!
Charlie's eyes changing back to normal, her wings and the anger on her face disappear.
- You are right Vaggie. – Charlie looks gently at Vaggie - The killing should stop here and we have to concentrate on the future and the many good things that we can do. – she holds Vaggie's hand - I love you!
Vaggie's smile widens.
- I love you too! – they melt in a passionate kiss. Lucifer watches them smiling. He is proud of her daughter and happy for her happiness. There is one soul, who is definitely not happy about the current events.
- Fine! – Angel grabs Vaggie's spear - If you don't do it, then I will!
- Angel no! – Charlie shouts but she is too late. The celestial spear runs through Mira's body as a knife cuts butter. Mira's eyes widen and she collapses. Alastor catches her and watches as she closes her eyes slowly.
- Mira! – Lucifer runs to her – My dear sister! – he takes her hand.
Alastor is not crying. He puts her into Lucifer's arms and stands up slowly. He looks at Angel in a sick way.
- This was a bad move Angel! – he says as he approaches him. Alastor is ready to do the worst he can do – How dare you play God?! – his voice changes, it becomes deeper. His smile widens and it looks like he's gone completely mad. There is no way that Angel can get away with this.
- Alastor stop! – Mira uses her last breath to put an end to this madness. Alastor stops immediately - I deserve to die. – she coughs - I am terribly sorry for ruining your hotel Charlie. I'm also sorry for hurting you Angel, I never intend to do that. – she takes a final breath – Brother! I'm sorry for running away back then. I missed you every day.
- Quiet sister, you won't die I won't let you. – Lucifer whispers to her.
- I do…I do. – she breathes out and her hand falls to the ground. Charlie stands next to them, looking at Mira's lifeless body with tearful eyes.
- Father! – she cries - Save her!
- I can't. – Lucifer says.
- You have to! I order you! – Charlie shakes her Father. Vaggie pulls Charlie away and holds her in her arms. Charlie sobs hysterically. Angel stands in a shock. He didn't think about what he has done. No one says a thing. They all mourn. Lucifer stands up with Mira in his arms. Suddenly a trail of light shines upon him. Some kind of power raises Mira's body up from Lucifer's arms. A pair of pure white wings appear on Mira's back. Her long lost halo is back up above her head and a deep gentle voice speaks.
- Wake up my child! – Mira's eyes open. Her eyes shine in pink with the purple circles in them – You have finally learnt your lesson. – God says – You may enter Heaven again.
The gates of Heaven can be seen. Bright golden gates among the clouds. Home, where Mira always wanted to go back. Now she can.
- Father! – Mira says – I am so glad that you finally hear my voice, and that you let me go home again. But – she looks down to the others – I found my family here in Hell, this is my home now.
Lucifer starts crying like a baby.
- Is this your final decision? – God asks.
Mira lands on the ground and hugs Lucifer then looks up to Heaven.
- Yes it is. – she says.
- So shall it be then. – God says and closes Heaven's gates.
Charlie walks up to Mira.
- Aunt! – she hugs Mira – I'm so happy that you stay with us!
- I hope you could forgive me Charlie. – Mira whispers to her.
- Of course I can! – Charlie smiles at her.
- Foxy! – Angel approaches Mira – I'm so sorry for what I did. I didn't think… - he looks down at his feet.
- It' okay Spidey! – Mira smiles at Angel – But next time it'll be my turn.
- Haha you wish! – Angel laughs.
Mira walks up to Alastor. He looks at her in shock.
- Alastor? – Mira asks uncertainly.
Alastor doesn't answer just hugs her tightly.
- Promise me you'll never do this again! You never die again! – Alastor whispers into her hair.
- I promise. – she smiles.
- Alright alright, end this fucking romantic shit! – Angel says – Let's hit the dancefloor!
- Ah, this romantic atmosphere made me hungry! – Stolas says – Ooooh Blitzyyyy!
- No no no no no, our job is done here! Let's move guys! – Blitzo says and runs away.
- Wait up Boss! – Millie and Moxxie run after him.
- Let's continue our job here and save more souls! – Charlie says happily.
- I'll drink to that! – Mira replies and gestures to Husk.
- Can we finally have a fuck room? – Angel asks.
- ANGEL! – Charlie shouts at him.
- What? You could have a good use of it too. – he winks at Charlie and Vaggie.
Charlie blushes.
- I fucking kill you! – Vaggie says and chases Angel around in the Hall of the Hotel.
- Well I guess all´s well that ends well. – Lucifer says smiling at them.
