To describe Yang and Jaune's mood as they reached the front door of Terra and Saphron's house as jovial would be untrue as the word wasn't strong enough, maybe they were feeling the newfound love they had stumbled upon, maybe Yang was just now realizing she was still alive after almost being killed by Adam.

Or maybe they were a couple of young and horny teenagers who just realized they may have an outlet for all of those reproductive urges, some secrets are going to be kept by the universe until the end of time.

They made it halfway up the stairs to the front door when someone's hand ended up somewhere interesting and before either of them knew what was happening Yang's back was pressed against the door with her breath hitching both from the cold door and the feeling of Jaune biting her lip.

While one of her hands was bunched up in Jaune's messy mop of hair, her other was guiding Jaune's free hand to just the right spot. Yang wasn't sure when he did it but somehow Jaune had opened the door.

Since Yang was still being pressed against the door itself the two of them all but tumbled inside. Yang was rather impressed that Jaune had opened the door even though she was very certain where his hands had been since one was around her rump and the other was working it's way up her shirt.

They stumbled, tumbled, and fumbled their way into the living room ending up with Yang on top of Jaune's hips while she pressed his back into the floor with her shoving her tongue down his throat.

They both realized something wasn't right at the same time looking up and seeing Qrow asleep on the couch. Yang stood up with a huff and headed for the drunk.

"Get up and go to bed you old fart" Yang snapped.

"Yang I think" Jaune started to sound worried.

"Don't worry about it he is nowhere near as defensive of me as he is Ruby" She interrupted going over to Qrow while Jaune tried to stammer something about not doing that.

Yang half growled when she saw that Qrow hadn't woken up from her words so she reached down to move one of his hands. Her heart stopped for a second time tonight when she noticed how cold he felt.

Yang dropped the hand and finally looked directly at Qrow. he was much paler than normal and when he reached for his pulse she found it wasn't there. Yang's heart still hadn't started beating again while she tried to shake the man. Jaune reached her and she felt one of his arms wrap around her waist and for a moment she thought about letting Jaune do whatever he was planning when she looked to the table next to the couch. There was an empty vial and a folded piece of paper addressed to Ruby.

Yang's heart finally started as she put the pieces together. "YOU FUCKING BASTARD" she screamed through her tears bringing her right arm down hard on his chest breaking several of the ribs now that his aura wasn't protecting him.

She pulled back to hit him again when Jaune's arms both snaked around her and lifted her off the ground carrying several feet away and setting her down where she wasn't looking at Qrow's body anymore.

When he set her down she had passed from wanting to kill her uncle to being distraught over his death. Jaune barely had time to get in front of her before she all but fell into his arms crying. Her shouting had woken up everyone else with Ruby being the first to arrive. Jaune went to tell her to stop when she ran right past ignoring him and finding Qrow just like Yang had. She seemed to figure it out just as fast as Yang did but instead of trying to hurt him Ruby reached down and shook Qrow's body desperately trying to get a response from him. She was saying something but Jaune couldn't hear her Yang sobbing in his ear.

Jaune was trying to think of how he was going to console both of them when Oscar came downstairs and saw Ruby he paused for a moment clearly wanting to help her but he looked to Jaune as though to ask permission first, Jaune had forbidden him from spending time with her while he was grounded after all.

With a somber nod from his "father" Oscar ran over to Ruby's side trying to get her away from Qrow's corpse. Jaune still couldn't hear her but right now she was with Oscar and Jaune needed to turn his focus back to Yang holding her firmly as she squeezed him back. If Jaune was honest her grip was a little painful given the power of her right arm but at the moment that didn't matter to him.

With a nod Weiss went to Ruby and Blake subtly palmed the letter. In part she knew that it was wrong to read a letter clearly meant for Ruby but she wasn't going to let her friend and team leader read what might be the depressed ramblings of a suicidal man.

She left the room with Ren and Nora following her. They went to the kitchen where Blake read the letter and brought a hand to her mouth at the end to hide her soft gasp. Looking up she asked them "has Ruby ever told you two about her mother?" she asked.

"She mentioned that she was killed by the grimm when Ruby was young" Nora answered.

Blake set the letter down and explained what the letter said. "No, Qrow killed her, Ozpin sent him and he did his best to talk her into coming back and then he tried to bring her back, they fought, and in the end he killed her."

Ren spoke up. "I knew Qrow, maybe not well but I knew him, he would never kill one of his friends."

"The letter says that he wasn't trying to. He was trying to bring her back without killing her but Qrow, he was never trained to not kill who he was fighting. He says that when they fought Summer had the chance to kill him but she hesitated, Qrow's training didn't allow that." Blake answered not sure she believed it. But that was what Qrow said and probably what he told himself.

"She needs to know" Nora said. Her voice showing how hard it was to say that. She needs the truth.

Blake nodded, no matter how awful the truth was if they had learned anything in the last month it was the damage secrets could do.

Qrow's funeral was a somber and short one, Qrow didn't have many friends to mourn him after all. Just his nieces who stood by him in spite of what he had done, his brother in law who had dropped the "in law" part years ago. General Ironwood, who learned of Qrow's inner darkness but like the girls refused to desert his friend even now. Beside him stood Winter Schnee dressed not in her uniform like the general but in black. It had been something that Ruby and Yang brought up. Qrow was never married but WInter had been the closest thing he had so they told her that if she wanted to dress as such it would not be seen in a negative way.

That was the entire group who had been there from the beginning. Ironwood insisted on paying for everything, he said that he and Qrow had a long going deal about not making their families pay for their funerals.

The rest of team RWBY and JNOR had been there too with Spahron and Terra. Yang and Jaune had been inseparable ever since it happened. Ruby and Oscar had been tense for a little while. She loved Oscar but a part of her had a hard time now loving the face she knew was attached to the man who ordered her mothers death.

Everyone suspected they would get through it though. It just seemed likely given who they were. They were getting ready to leave when they heard the door to the parlor open.

Salem sat still on her bed as the Grimm told her that whoever was approaching was getting closer. It seemed to be a hunter and while they were fighting hard they were not a match for the great warrior.

Salem knew what this meant, the silver eyed warrior had come to kill her. She was almost certain it wouldn't work. But at this point maybe it would and she was finding herself eager for the meeting.

Her door buckled once under a powerful attack and then blasted open spraying splinters everywhere.

Salem looked at her new guest to see a short old man with what seemed to be an outdated blunderbuss ax combo. The only feature more distinctive about him than his weapon was the hair on his face. Namely his absurdly sized mustache and his overgrown eyebrows.

"Come to slay the monster?" Salem asked.

The man stepped into the room and answered. "Well fair maiden where I to find one I most certainly would but I see no monsters in here. Now then I have come to rescue you, come at once"

Peter Port turned to leave and was several yards down the hall when he noticed that Salem had yet to follow him. Returning to her he said. "We really should be going."

He turned to leave and stopped when Salem asked him. "What are you doing here?" with her jaw nearly slack in confusion.

Peter looked around to make sure there were no more grimm before he answered her. "I heard rumor of a beautiful princess trapped in a castle. Here I am, here you are. Therefore I am here to rescue you from this castle. Now we must be going"

Again he turned to leave only to stop when Salem again questioned him. "You think I am the princess trapped in the castle or myth?"

Peter was clearly annoyed at having to explain the matter again but he hid it well replying. "No, you are the beautiful Princess my compraiate is looking for the princess, now we must be going!"

Salem picked her jaw up off the floor as she managed to stammer out a response based on the only reason she could see a man working so hard to rescue a "beautiful princess"

"You realize that I am never going to marry you?" she half snapped expecting him to take to her words poorly.

To her shock when Peter turned around he looked confused for a moment before he laughed a bellowing belly laugh. After he regained his composure he said" oh now my dear,I would never expect such compensation, besides I am FAR to old you one as young as yourself"

Again Salem's jaw bounced off the floor as Peter looked around once more. "It seems the grimm are gone and it seems you do not want to follow me, so I will now depart but I must say you should leave before the grimm return" he said, still beaming from his own laughter before he bowed and left.

Hey, everyone, Noruas here, I am sorry if this one stings a little. I suspect this story will be ending in a chapter or two and I would like to know what you guys think I should do for my next story. Should I start opening up for commissions or should I just do somethingof my own designand how would you like me to write my next story. I can either write them in part in advance (I wouldn't post anything for a few weeks but then I would post more than once a week like I did with Fallen Archangel and Broken Valkyrie) or I can run it like I did for this story. I am also asking my patrons and if they have an answer,it will supersedeyours but if they don't say anything (so far, they haven't) I will consider what you have to say.
