"So, that's what happened?"

Sitting in front of a magic circle were two men, each dressed in ornate suits of armor. One of them had crimson hair and blue eyes, while the other one had azure hair and red eyes. The image in the magic circle showed Rias and Sala.

"Yes. Somehow the boy absorbed both Evil and Holy Pieces." Rias then began to stroke her chin "But such a thing should be impossible."

"People said the same thing about peace between our two factions." Came the reply of the Azure haired man "But that was centuries ago, and I believe that opening our doors to each other has only made both sides better."

"Big brother, while I do agree with you, this is a very serious matter. This is unprecedented and needs to be investigated properly." Sala said.

"Relax Sala, we will take care of this." The crimson haired man assured the young angel "Make sure to bring him to us tomorrow so Ajuka and Rayashbid can examine him. We'll send Grayfia and Valar to pick you and Sala up after school. Make sure to bring the boy."

"Thank you very much, Lord Lucifer." Rias said as she bowed.

"And you as well, Michael's Messenger." Sala said as she also bowed. The transmission ended, and both men proceeded to lean back into their chairs.

"So…a Nephalem, huh?" The crimson haired man then looked at his compatriot "We figured God and the original Devil Kings' death would bring some unprecedented things…but nothing like this Aznamerq."

"Well, Ajuka and Rayashbid do like to mess with their little inventions, so this shouldn't be much of a surprise Sirzechs," Aznamerq began to scratch his chin in contemplation, "Still, to absorb both 16 Pawn Pieces, each of a conflicting set…I didn't think such a thing could happen."

"Well, it happened, and you have the boy as living proof.." Sirzechs then stood up and walked around the room. "But what bothers me is what Rias told me about him wielding both Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing."

"That I agree with." Aznamerq said as he got up out of his chair and walked over to Sirzechs "It's a well known rule that only one person should have one Sacred Gear. To have two, and them being Longinuses, is a sign that something is amiss."

"Let's just hope Ajuka and Rayashbid find out something about this and fast. If word got out about this kid, we'd be facing a political storm the likes of which no one has ever seen."

"I really hate politics." Aznamerq muttered "Seriously, why do things become so complicated?"

"That's just the way the world works." Sirzechs sighed.

Issei and Makoto's day was officially getting weird.

It all began this morning. After waking up, instead of feeling energetic, Issei felt lethargic and sluggish. Makoto, however, felt like he could run a marathon and bench press a truck. This led to Makoto taking control of the body for the day.

Once they got to school, Makoto decided to check Issei's phone for Yuuma's number, but to his surprise there was nothing there. "OK, something freaky is definitely going on." Makoto muttered.

"Yeah, tell me about it."

Suddenly, they heard the sound of squealing girls and wolf-whistling guys and turned to see two individuals walking up towards them. They looked alike, both having blonde hair and blue eyes and a beauty mark, but what separated them was their gender. This was Yuuto and Yumi Kiba, the "Prince and Princess" of Kuoh Academy.

"Excuse me, are you Hyoudou?" Kiba asked, flashing a dashing smile.

"Um…Makoto Hyoudou, yeah." Makoto nodded.

"Oh great. The pretty boy." Issei grumbled "At least his sister's hot."

"Dude, don't be like that." Makoto sighed as he looked at Kiba and Yumi "Sorry, my brother's being a bit of an ass."

"Yeah, having a brother is kind of a pain." Yumi said as she smiled "But what I'm wondering is, why are you talking to yourself?"

"It's…complicated." Makoto then proceeded to shake his head " Nevermind, just what do you want?"

"Well, our club president, Rias Gremory, along with vice-president Sala Poiel, would like to meet you, if it's not too much trouble." Kiba replied, his smile never vanishing.

"Um…OK?" Inwardly, Makoto was panicking "Sala wants to see me?!"

"Dude, never mind that! We get to see Rias herself! This is a dream come true!"

Yumi's smile brightened "Excellent." She then proceeded to grab Makoto's hand "Come on, let's not keep our friend waiting!"

Makoto then found himself in front of the Old School Building. It was a rather small and derelict place that gave off the vibe of a kind of haunted house. Makoto found himself getting the shivers just by looking at it. They entered the building and soon came across a door that had a sign on the front: Occult Research Club.

Makoto scratched his head in confusion "I didn't know we had a club like this."

"Eh, we like to keep our work secret." Kiba then knocked on the door, "President, I brought Hyoudou."

"Bring him in then." Rias replied from the other side of the door.

Opening the door, the twins lead Makoto into the room, and within it, he saw that the room was packed with people sitting on couches and chairs, with a magic circle in the far back of the room.

Makoto looked around at the inhabitants of the club and saw some familiar faces. Sitting on a couch and eating sweets together were the mascots of Kuoh Academy, the sisters Koneko and Koinu Toujou Both girls were rather petite, but whereas Koneko had short white hair and Hazel eyes, Koinu had long black hair and brown eyes. Koneko gave off an air of cold indifference when she beheld Makoto, but Koinu just waved her hand.

"Heyas! You must be Hyoudou!""

"Yeah, that's me." Makoto then scratched the back of his head in befuddlement. Looking around, he also spotted two other familiar faces.

One was a boy who looked to be the same age as Koneko and Koinu, but from his features and way of dressing, you would assume he was a girl at first glance. His skin was pale and his eyes were red, and he had short blonde hair. Standing next to him, however, was a rather burly young man, much taller than Issei, with muscles bulging across his body, as well as a buzzcut and brown eyes, and tan skin. These two were Gasper Vladi and Lawrence Talbot, two first years who had reputations as a crossdresser and a rather aggressive punk. Somehow though, the two were best friends.

"Um…hello." Gasper meekly replied as he got behind Lawrence.

"Sup?" Lawrence's voice was deep and gravelly, hardly a voice befitting a first year.

Makoto was beginning to feel a little overwhelmed. When he glanced at the front of desk and saw not only Rias and Sala, but two other figures, his eyes widened.

There were two girls next to Rias and Sala. Both had voluptuous figures, but one had long black hair done in a ponytail and violet eyes, while the other one had mid-length brown hair and blue eyes. These were the other two idols of Kuoh Academy, Akeno Himejima and Aoi Kushihashi.

"Holy shit! Four bombshells!"

"Dude, do not even freaking ogle Sala."

"Ah, welcome to the Occult Research Club, Hyoudou. I am Rias Gremory, and I am sure you know my friend Sala."

Sala merely smiled, causing Makoto's heart to race. "So…what did you want to see me about?"

"Well…" Sala said as she put her index fingers together "while we did want to meet you, you're actually needed for something important."

Makoto was now on edge "What do you mean?"

Before anyone could reply, two magic circles started appearing, and from them came two figures. They were both dressed in maid outfits, but while one had silver hair and red eyes, the other one had golden hair and blue eyes.

"Ah, Grayfia, Valar, perfect timing." Rias said as she smiled. She then pointed to Makoto, "This is the boy I was telling you about."

The silver haired maid merely bowed, along with the blonde haired one "How do you do? I am Grayfia Lucifuge, maid of House Gremory."

"And I am Valar Tzaphkiel, maid of House Poiel."

"OK, what the shit is going on?!" Makoto yelled.

Rias merely raised a hand "Relax, Hyoudou. I actually wanted to talk to you about your date with Yuuma."

At this, Makoto stiffened "How do you know about the date my brother went on?!"

Rias then tilted her head in confusion "Brother?"

"Dude, I feel this is something I need to take care of, so let me take hold of the body for like, one minute."

"OK…" Makoto then turned towards the girls "I think it's time you met my brother." Makoto then closed his eyes as he sank back into the consciousness of the mind, as Issei came to the forefront "Hey, I'm Issei Hyoudou, and like my brother said, how do you know about Yuuma?"

"Just calm down, and Rias will tell you." Sala's smile never left her face. "It's fine, she's my friend, and she'd never do anything to hurt you."

"OK…So like I said, how do you know about Yuuma?"

At this, Rias sighed "All we know is that she's a Fallen Angel, but what's weird is that she killed you, despite you possessing two Longinus class Sacred Gears. If anything, you'd be a boon to the Fallen Angel side."

Issei then stiffened "Fallen Angel? Sacred Gear? Longinus? What the hell are you talking about?"

Aoi then spoke up "First, tell us this: How much do you know about the Abrahmic religions?"

"Wait, you mean Christianity, Judaism and Islam?" Issei then scratched his head "A bit, but mostly from reading online stuff about it."

"That's good. Well, if you must know, that stuff? It's all real," Akeno said.

"As for your other question, Sacred Gears are powerful artifacts used by many people throughout history. A rule of thumb is that you are born with one, and that's it." Aoi then scratched her chin in thought "But there are special ones known as Longinus, which have the power to kill gods. And for some reason, you possess two."

Issei could only stand there, his mind trying to take in the information "OK, I legitimately have no idea on how to take all of this."

"Let's just get back to the topic at hand." Rias then took out a picture of Yuuma, causing Issei's eyes to widen "This girl is a Fallen Angel, they're Angels who have fallen from Paradiso, or Heaven, and inhabit the realm of Inferno, or as you call it, Hell. However, Inferno is home to the Devils, and this caused some friction between the two races."

"Not helping matters is the fact that Angels came down from Paradiso to exterminate Devils", Sala could only sigh "This lead to a conflict known as the Great War, a conflict many of us in Paradiso look upon with disdain."

Issei stiffened as he looked at Sala, "Wait…Why are you talking like you know what Heaven is like?"

"That's because she does," Rias said as she stood up, Sala following her "She's an Angel from Paradiso, and I am a Devil from Inferno."

Issei's eyes widened as he beheld wings coming from the back of Sala and Rias, with Sala having a halo and white dove-like wings, and Rias having black bat-like wings.

"Oh, I also forgot to mention, this club is merely a front." Rias then looked around the room "I think it's time you guys revealed your little secret."

At this, Koneko, Gasper, Akeno, and Kiba both had devil wings coming from their backs, while Koinu, Lawrence, Aoi, and Yumi both gained halos and angel wings.

Issei's eyes then widened as he felt something come out of his back. Looking over his shoulder, he saw devil wings coming out of his back too.

"What is happening to me?!"

"Issei, calm down." Sala said as she walked up to the youth and put her hands on his shoulder "You're perfectly fine, you're a Devil now." She then looked at the wings "Though…can I speak to Makoto to confirm something?"

"Issei, I think it's best to do what she says. I'm just as freaked out as you, but we gotta figure out what the hell happened."

"OK…You take the stage Makoto." Issei then closed his eyes, and Makoto once again took control However, once he did, he started to gain a halo, and his wings turned from devil wings to angel wings, causing everyone, besides Sala and Rias, to widen their eyes in shock.

Grayfia soon gained back her composure and turned to Rias "Lady Rias, we have to take him to Purgatorio immediately."

"That's what I was thinking too, Grayfia." Rias then stepped on the Magic Circle, with Sala following her "Alright Makoto, if you want to know what's going on, then you need to come with us."

Makoto's world was spinning. Everything was happening so fast, and he felt like he was about to faint from the overload.

"Makoto, calm down. I'm with you, and nothing can separate us."

"Yeah…you're right Issei." Makoto then got his cool back and went forward to the magic circle, standing in between Rias and Sala. Grayfia and Valar then went beside the girls, and the magic circle soon crackled with energy, teleporting the five to their destination.

Makoto then found himself in the middle of what appeared to be an examination room, and in front of him were two individuals who looked rather important. One was a man with green hair and blue eyes, while the other was a woman with brown hair and blue eyes. They were dressed in what appeared to be business attire.

"Ah, you came just in time. I got everything set up and ready to go." The man then looked at Makoto, "This the kid?"

"Yes, Lord Beelzebub, Messenger of Uriel." Rias turned to Makoto "Makoto, this is Ajuka Beelzebub and his wife Rayashbid Reiaiel, the inventors of the Evil and Holy Pieces."

"Huh?"

Sala then decided to speak "You remember the Pawns you had on you yesterday?"

"Yeah, what about them?"

"Well…to put it simply, the pawns that you had on you reacted with Rias' Pawn Pieces, and somehow, they all entered your body."

Ajuka and Rayashbid looked at each other, intensity evident in their gazes "Definitely need to examine him then." Ajuka told his wife, who merely nodded.

"OK, so, what do I do then?"

Ajuka then gestured towards a machine that looked like an MRI Scanner. "With this, we should be able to look at your soul and see how a being such as you is possible."

Makoto nodded, then turned to Rias and Sala "Wish me luck."

…

As the machine scanned Makoto, Ajuka and Rayashbid were stunned at what they were seeing. "Rias, Sala, you better come take a look at this." Rayashbid called out.

The two heiresses walked over to the monitor, and their eyes widened at what they were looking at. In the middle of the monitor were two pairs of dots. One could see demonic energies flowing into one pair, while divine energy was flowing into another.

"What is this?" Sala gasped out in awe.

"The kid seems to possess four souls." Ajuka then pointed to the pair with the demonic energy "This one seems to be Issei and the Welsh Dragon, seeing as how they're connected via the Boosted Gear", he then pointed at the pair with the divine energy "But this one appears to be Makoto and the Vanishing Dragon."

"How is this possible?" Rias couldn't believe what she was seeing. Four souls in one body?

"We may need to ask him." Rayashbid then turned off the machine and pulled back the bed Makoto was on, "You can get up now."

Makoto then sat up on the bed "So, you probably wanna know how I have the souls in my body, right? Well, it all begins when me and my brother were just embryos."

As Makoto told his tale, Rias and Sala couldn't believe what they were hearing. He absorbeddied in the womb and was absorbed by his brother, and somehow the Vanishing Dragon protected his soul, allowing them to coexist in the same body? Normally such a thing would be written off as pure nonsense, but the machine proved that without a doubt, the boy had four souls.

"So that's what happened." Ajuka said as he scratched his chin "Our inventions not only affect the body, but also the soul. Normally, you can't have conflicting energies inhabit the soul…" He then looked towards Makoto "But it would appear that a loophole has been found."

"Yeah, never imagined a kid would have the soul of his brother inhabit his body." Rayashbid then began to chuckle "Our inventions never cease to amaze me."

"I'm proud to have made them along with you, my dear angel." Ajuka said as he nuzzled Rayashbid's head, causing the woman to blush

"Oh stop it, you devilish charmer you!" Rayashbid giggled.

"Um…so, what now?" Makoto asked the two inventors.

"Oh, right." Rayashbid then cleared her throat and looked at Makoto, seriousness evident in her features, "Makoto, we need you to focus on summoning your Divine Dividing."

"Huh?"

"Just follow the instructions. Just focus on the other presence in your body belonging to the dragon, and call him out." Ajuka said.

At this, Makoto nodded, and delved deep into his consciousness. He searched for Albion, looking for his presence deep within him. His search soon bore fruit though, as he felt energy coming from his back, forming the shape of the wings of Divine Dividing.

Makoto then opened his eyes as he looked at the wings on his back "Albion?"

"Hello child."

Makoto then did a fist pump "Sweet! It really worked!"

"Finally, I thought the guy would never pick up."

Makoto's eyes then widened, as he recognized the voice coming from Divine Dividing "Issei?"

"Wait…did I just hear my voice coming from this thing? Does this mean you all can hear me?"

Rias could only stare dumbfounded at what was occurring, but she nodded her head "Y-Yes, Issei."

"Holy shit, this is awesome! Makoto, I can actually talk while you're in control of the body!"

Makoto, however, gained a look of contemplation on his face. "Issei, why don't you try looking for Ddraig, and I'll hand over control of the body over to you. I wanna try something."

"Huh? OK." Makoto closed his eyes as Issei searched for Ddraig. The familiar gauntlet of Boosted Gear appeared on his arm as his eyes opened once again.

"Makoto?" Issei said as he looked at Boosted Gear.

"Testing, testing, one two three." The voice of Makoto rang out from the gauntlet, causing a smile to form on Issei's face.

"It worked bro. It worked."

'Like I knew it would."

"Don't listen to him, he was afraid it might not work for a second."

"Ddraig!"

At this, everyone laughed, causing Makoto to sulk deep within Issei's consciousness.

…

Soon, it was time to return to the ORC room, and the members, along with the maids, waved goodbye as the magic circle teleported them back to the room, leaving Ajuka and Rayashbid all alone.

"So…what does this mean?" Rayashbid asked her husband.

"I don't know…But this makes it all the more exciting." Ajuka then began to grin "Imagine it, our two greatest inventions joined together in perfect unison! If that's not a symbol of our compatibility, then I don't know what is!"

Rayashbid could only giggle "Now if only we could have a kid."

"Oh trust me, we'll try and try again until we have a little bundle of joy right in our hands."

Rayashbid's eyes then turned downcast "I know, but, it's been centuries and no results. We even invented that interdimensional room so I wouldn't fall, and somehow it's still not enough. Is there something wrong with me or you?"

Ajuka then walked over to his wife and planted a kiss on her forehead "Rayashbid, you know about our race's low birth rates. It's why we invented the Evil Pieces and Brave Saints." He then looked the angel deep in the eyes "But no matter what, I will always continue trying for you."

Rayashbid then blushed as she and Ajuka shared a kiss, the two of them enjoying their company.

It was the little moments like this that made being married worth it.
