Chapter 7: Twisted Humor
After the battle against the Vault Monster, the three hunters waited patiently before Tannis which Smoke winked at. Tannis giggles nervously before walking past the inventor and making her way to the dead vault monster whispering to herself.
"Breath, Tannis. You can do this. Let's give it a try," Tannis told herself before glancing at the Vault Hunter's. "You may want to stand back. As I said, experimental tech."
The three backed up with Smoke raising his hands with a chuckle of his own.
"You do your thing Tannis," Smoke said with a smile before slipping his hands into his pockets.
Tannis nodded her head before bringing her hands forward while wearing red gauntlets. Gripping the gauntlets, they emit a faint red glow before she stretched her hands out to the vault monster's form. With a faint grunt, res energy began to flow out of the monster and into Tannis' gauntlets.
"Yes, it's working! I hope," Tannis spoke causing Smoke to take a step close.
"How you holding up Tannis?" Smoke asked blinking his eyes.
"Just a little more..." Tannis said through gritted teeth before the light from the creature stopped flowing allowing the historian to sigh in relief. "Ah! Heh! Excellent, it worked. I told Lilith it would. Sir Hammerlock once told me that when hunting a beast, it's best to deny it sustenance. Starving creatures make mistakes. Now Tyreen Calypso will be unable to derive Power from the Vault Monster.
"What the actual dick. Did you just kill the Vault Monster for real!? Come on! Now there's no point in any of this!" Tyreen whined on the echo-2. "Ugh, I'm so hungry! I guess I'll...I dunno, leech a pile of tinks? They're like popcorn shrimp, but more...screamy,"
"You guys really suck, you know that? Totally uncalled for," Troy added through the echo-2 as well before falling silent.
"And you say that as we..." Smoke stopped as Tyreen spoke again.
'And then there's J. When the time comes I WILL leech off of you," Tyreen spoke before giggling making Moze scuff.
"Really sis?" Troy commented with a disgusted tone before the echo-2 went silent.
"Well damn...at first I thought she just wanted you. Now I KNOW she wants you," Smoke said laughing himself before looking at his friend who was gripping his hands into fists.
"I will not let her take my life," J said in defense while narrowing his eyes.
"...buddy your as dense as dense can get," Smoke commented while sighing in disappointment before shaking his head and turning his attention back to Tannis.
"Alright well...it seems we're alone. You may proceed into the Vault to collect 'your' loot. Meanwhile, I will examine the Eridian technology out here," Tannis instructed earning a nod from both Moze and J while Smoke shrugged.
"I'd rather stay out here and hang out with Tannis. After all, your smartness makes you beautiful," Smoke flirted with a wink.
"Smartness?" Moze repeated with a faint chuckle.
"It is not smart to distract teammates Smoke. We are not in the safe yet," J warned before turning and making his way toward the vault that formed in front of the dead monster's corpse.
As the soldier and fighter entered the Vault, Smoke followed Tannis around the area in a means to study the Eridian markings.
"Ah, this vault is indeed connected to the Prometheus vault you opened, as well as... Pandora, and a fourth vault I do not recognize. Could Tyreen Calypso be telling the truth about the great vault? I'm concerned. Come out, and we will return to sanctuary together. Lilith will want to hear about this," Tannis notified with Smoke looking around with his hands in his pockets.
"So...just a quick question...when are you going to tell everyone else about your little secret?" Smoke asked glancing at Tannis who sighed heavily.
"When the time is right..." Tannis replied while looking down on her holopad.
"Fair enough...fair enough," Smoke said closing his eyes while leaning his head back.
"Now that I think about it...how did you find out?" Tannis questioned while glancing over her shoulder at the inventor.
"When the time is right beautiful," Smoke replied earning a scuff from the historian.
"...fair enough," Tannis replied before walking past Smoke with her eyes closed.
"Sassy," Smoke whispered under his breath before following her outside and looking forward.
As they turned to face the entrance to the vault, Moze and J had emerged from the portal with Tannis taking a few steps forward.
"Vault Hunters, we should probably discuss-" Tannis stopped as Troy phase locked the scientists form..
"Phase lock outta nowhere!" Troy commented with a chuckle.
"Hmmm. Disconcerning," Tannis spoke looking around.
"Now Ty! Do it, do it do it," Tyreen cheered as Tannis was teleported away.
"TANNIS! NOOOOOO!" Smoke screamed while looking up at the sky.
"And she's GONE! Aw, man. When you killed that monster, I was like, 'shiiiiit' but...we've got our eye on a bigger prize," Troy spoke through the echo-2 before it fell silent.
"Lilith. Tannis was abducted by the Calypso twins," Moze notified while narrowing his eyes.
"TANNNNIIIIISSSSSS!" Smoke screamed.
"No...damn it! Vault Hunter, I need you back on Sanctuary, now!" Lilith commanded.
"You heard command. We have to regroup at Sanctuary," Moze spoke looking at Smoke who was still screaming at the top of his lungs.
"I'll handle my friend," J spoke while looking at Smoke.
Moze looked at the fighter and nodded her head before J made his way toward Smoke.
"Smoke. We have to leave. It is not safe here," J mentioned causing Smoke to turn to his friend and glare at him. "The more time we waste, the more likely she will die,"
Smoke looked at the ground in thought before facing J and nodding his head in agreement.
"You're right. Alright let's back to base and see what we can do," Smoke replied earning a nod from J.
-Sanctuary III: Bridge-
"You have to get to that Vault before the Calypsos. Promise me," Ava spoke looking at the three Vault Hunter's as they entered the bridge.
"I should've known. Should have seen it coming. This is exactly what I was afraid of..." Lilith shouted while glaring at the ground.
"Stop talking as if she's dead! There's still time!" Smoke and Ava shouted in unison.
"Incoming transmission," Claptrap spoke over comms.
"Of course..." Lilith spoke looking up along with everyone else with a holoscreen opening up revealing Tyreen and Troy wearing bandit masks.
"We kidnapped your scientist. If you want to see her alive ...heh, it's not gonna happen," Troy spoke shaking his head before laughing.
"Yeah, 'cause you eat butts!" Tyreen commented before laughing.
"Skag butts," Troy added as their laughter grew louder.
"It's us! Heh-did you guess?" Tyreen asked. "Cool masks right? Pre-order bonus,"
"Ooh Ty-pledge drive," Troy pointed out while facing his sister.
"So, spoiler. We are crazy close to opening the Great Vault. We found the key, bee-tee-dubs, and it is HUGE! So we need a crap-ton of Eridium to charge it and you know what that means! Pledge drive. And since our followers go apeshit every time we maim or murder one of you, we put the next one up to a vote," Tyreen started to explain.
"Would you believe it? Weird scientist was our most requested murder. Beat out annoying robot by just a bit!" Troy pointed out.
"Damn it" Claptrap shouted in the background.
"Speaking of murder, Carnivor's gettin' hungry! The show's starting soon! And it's going to be a killer," Tyreen hinted as the holoscreen faded away.
"They're going to kill her if we don't do something!" Ava pointed out now glaring at Lilith.
"Tannis wrist everything to keep trying from getting to that Vault monster. She deserves better than dying for the entertainment of two psychopaths. We're going back to Pandora. Vault Hunters save her," Lilith spoke turning to look at Smoke, J, and Smoke who nodded in unison.
"Believe me, Commander Lilith. I plan to," Smoke said narrowing his eyes.
"The Calypso's mentioned a 'Carnivora'... anyway you can get some info on this?" Lilith asked focusing on Smoke.
"...I don't but let me bring in my little helper," Smoke said while bringing his left hand to his ear only to close his eyes and shake his head. "Nothing..."
"The Calypsos mentioned a 'Carnivora'. Go find Vaughn. I sent him to an old Crimson Raiders outpost in Devil's Razor. He's been monitoring CoV movements, he'll know what's goin' on," Lilith spoke earning a united nod before the three Vault Hunters turned and left the bridge hearing Balex's soft cheering.
-Pandora: Base-
As the three arrive at the desired destination Smoke could not help but scan his surroundings while narrowing his eyes.
'You're heading to an outpost called Roland's Rest. Vaughn will be there,' Lilith notified on the Echo-2 before it ended.
Smoke simply brought up his left hand opening up a holomap of where they were at while setting a marker for them.
"Alright, so it's a decent distance away..." Smoke said groaning faintly before looking over at his friend then Moze. "So...shall we get a ride?"
As Smoke called that out, he raised his right hand and pointed out a garage that would construct a vehicle for their use. His comrades nodded their heads in agreement before they made their way toward the depot. Just after a few steps, the sound of a familiar voice was heard causing everyone to stop.
"Hi, hello? I'm alive! For now. It seems Eridian professors are like Vault Keys: everyone wants a piece. Ahem. Gallows humor aside, a rescue would be quite welcome, as I'm to be tortured and killed for the amusement of a crowd. I still have some tricks up my sleeve, but I fear using them would only change the method of my death," Tannis explained before going silent.
"...my babies alive and kicking...but only for some time, it seems," Smoke admitted while looking at the ground while rubbing his chin slowly.
"Then we should kick it into high gear and get moving, Move spoke up gaining Smoke's attention who smiled and nodded his head in agreement.
"Couldn't say it better myself. Let's get to it, people," Smoke called out before bringing his attention forward and rolling his shoulders back with his hands slipped into his coat pocket. "We don't have time to waste,"
The three Vault Hunters made their way towards one of Ellie's vehicle platforms to allow faster transportation to their desired location.
-Pandora: Devil's Razor-
The Vault Hunters had blown through the small CoV gate driving a fully armored heavy truck thanks to Ellie's vehicle pads with a small custom fitting by Smoke. Instead of a catapult, it was replaced by a double-barrel heavy turret with Moze strapped in while J was in the controls of the arms on the side of the truck leaving Smoke to drive. Coming to a slow stop, the voice of Tyreen could be heard through the radio.
"Hey, you're back! Reunion! Last time we were all here I plucked your Firehawk and left her on the ground like a hit-and-run Skag. Tch-aww, remember that?" Tyreen asked.
"Ahh, good times. Oh and then I totally murdered your siren friend. The blue-haired one. I can't remember her name. I wanna say, Martha? Meg? Ah, whatever. She dead," Troy said before laughing.
"And now we kidnapped your science nerd too. You got to admit we are super good at taking your shit!" Tyreen comment with a giggle.
"Yeah your crimson thieves guild is in tatters and splatters and whatnot," Troy continued.
"Going to be God's soon. Later, bitches!" Tyreen shouted before they fell silent once more.
"They are getting cockier and cockier," J said closing his eyes and taking deep breaths.
"We'll get them eventually...but right now our focus is getting information on this carnival...thingy," Smoke added as they continued to drive off toward their destination.
As they reached Roland's Rest, Moze took lead on finding their contact, Vaughn. It took only a few seconds before Moze lead her teammates to stand before a man wearing only boots, a cape, and underwear.
"Smoke. J. This is Vaughn. Vaughn, these are my comrades," Moze introduced briefly while glancing at her teammates before turning her attention on the almost naked male.
"Hey! Welcome to my new clan, the Pectoral Liberation Alliance! I'm just kidding, go Crimson Raiders! Ha-ha!" Vaughn joked with hands on his hips.
"Anyway, I'm glad you came along. It has been hell defending this place since Troy Calypso snatched our turrets with his crazy powers. I love those turrets. Oh! Right, the mission! Okay, Lilith said you're here to save Tannis. Now, if Carnivora has her, you got to get a move on!"
"No shit shirtless! Now what the fuck is a Carnivora?!" Smoke shouted while taking a step forward.
"It's all calm down. I was just about to tell you. Carnivora is a giant festival run by two murder streamers named Pain and Terror. You can find it in the Splinter lands bro," Vaughn said with a thumbs up. "Carnivora is the most popular Calypso fan stream in the Galaxy bro! Pain and Terror take kill requests Non-Stop in the name of the Calypso's-and of course, High viewer accounts. Any way I can help you get to Carnivora but getting in might be a different story,"
"Vault Hunter. I know I don't need to say this, but we are not losing anyone else," Lilith spoke through the echo-2.
"I will get her back," Smoke said with a confident smile before getting slapped behind his head by J. "We will get her back,"
"My imminent murder is whipping these cultists into a frenzy. They're delivering iridium by the armful, screaming my name all the way. I had no idea I was so popular amongst the idiot masses. I suppose you never know where flattery's going to come from," Tannis notified.
"Then there is no time to lose! What do we gotta do to get to this...Carnivora?" Smoke asked clapping his hands together.
"From what he just said...we have to make our way to the Splinter lands," Moze pointed out with a raised brow.
"...right...then let's go!" Smoke pointed out before they made their way toward the armored truck.
-Splinter lands-
"You made it to the Splinter lands! All right, Carnivora should still be nearby. The festival moves around Pandora, setting up wherever there are enough crazies to fill the bleachers. They've been camped out here for a while now, so, I guess the sacrifice business must be a boomin. You'll, uh, you'll know it when you see it," Vaughn said before going silent.
"If that's how he phrased it then I'm pretty sure we got nothing to worry about. All I know is that they have my girl. And they want to kill my girl. So I'ma killem. I'ma killem all," Smoke said narrowing his eyes.
"And I will help," J added earning a nod from Smoke who glanced over his shoulder to his friend before looking at Moze who smirked.
"And so will I," Moze added earning a smile from the inventor as he faced forward and drove off to their next destination.
As the Vault Hunters continued through the Splinter lands while slaughtering any creatures or bandits in their way with ease. Eventually, they came across a large structure revealing itself to be the entrance of Carnivora.
"Damn. When he said we will know it when we see it, he was not lying," Smoke admitted looking at the large metal head with its mouth open.
"Yep! That's the one! A little heads up, though-Carnivora is supes exclusive. Only the most dedicated followers get in, So... You're going to have to give up your car as an offering." Vaughn notified.
"Submit your death ride for judgment? Only The chosen may enter!" A bandit called out through the speaker.
"The fuck I am! Sure I don't care about my modifications too much, but this is asking a lot even for me," Smoke complained while shaking his head.
"If we want to get Tannis back alive we have to," Moze said looking at Smoke who groaned.
"Smoke, you know she's right. Plus you can always avenge this vehicle later on. Just as we had to pay tribute with your modified armored truck, they will pay with blood," J pointed out earning a nod from the inventor.
"You got a point. They will pay," Smoke agreed as he drove forward to the entrance of Carnivora.
As Smoke drove up to the entrance of Carnivora, the wheels were locked down allowing all three Vault Hunters to exit the vehicle.
"Press the button, that Carnivora may feed!" The bandit instructed.
Smoke scanned his surroundings before seeing the button that would offer up his modified armored truck to the entrance of Carnivora. The inventor let out a heavy sigh as he made his way towards the button and pressed it. As the modified armored vehicle reach the entrance to Carnivora, its blades started to spin in an attempt to destroy the vehicle.
"This vehicle has been judged as unworthy," The bandit screamed.
"UNWORTHY! I'LL SHOW YOU UNWORTHY BITCH!" Smoke screamed back as you raised his left hand and swiped it towards his vehicle causing the arms to latch onto the spinning blades of the entrance stopping its rotation while slowly pulling it apart. "WHO'S UNWORTHY NOW BITCHES!"
"You are chosen. Prepare for Glory in Carnivora!" The bandit shouted as the blades stop spinning while the entrance opened up for the vault Hunters to enter.
"That's what I thought," Smoke said with a scuff as the Vault Hunters advanced towards the entrance to Carnivora.
As we walked beside the armored truck Smoke could not help but watch as a magnet came down to take the vehicle away. A soft nod came from smoke before he turned his attention forward gripping his hands into fists.
"Wow. Your monster of a truck worked. Anyway, I got to get back to protecting Roland's rest, but go save Tannis. Leave no bro behind!" Vaughn spoke up earning a nod from all three Vault Hunters as they entered Carnivora.
As they entered Carnivora the sound of Lilith's voice could be heard through the echo-2.
"Vault Hunters, Carnivora just started broadcasting across the echonet! The sacrifice is about to begin! Don't let anything get between you and Tannis!" Lily's commanded has all three Vault Hunters prepared their weaponry.
"Don't you worry boss, anything that gets between me and Tannis is as good as dead," smoke said cocking his Gatling sniper.
"We won't," J corrected while rolling his shoulders back and gripping his hands into fists just as Moze prepared her assault rifle.
As the Vault Hunters entered the festival grounds of Carnivora, its speakers came to life bringing about the voice of a mature male revealing it to be one of the streamers. Just as the speakers came to life, CoV started to pour out of the buildings and started to race toward the Vault Hunters.
"Children of the Vault! Who's ready for a very special livescream? The agonizer 9000 is all oiled up and ready to kill! We've got some great opening acts for you, but while you prepare to see the great vault, we're bringing you behind the scenes with our headliner. Now, Tannis, you're a crazy scientist lady who came from space. What's on your mind?" Pain asked through speakers.
"Oh. I was just admiring this elaborate murder device you've assembled. It's the details - the rusted sheet metal, the hazard beveling, the sheer capacity for taking human lives. I can see you put a lot of yourself into this machine, even hanging from these chains," Tannis complimented.
"You know... It's so great to hear you say that. My partner Terror and I, we're - we're awful proud of the Agonizer 9000 here, v and so rarely do we get a true... Connoisseur of the homicidal arts here in the studio. Tell you what. I'll swing you closer to the action so you can get a proper view," Pain notified just as J tore off a bandit's head with ease.
"Ah, yes, this is perfect. You have my gratitude," Tannis replied happily.
"Moze. J. Both of you link up! We need to get to Tannis as soon as possible," Smoke shouted out earning a nod from both Vault Hunters.
Moze holstered her weapon while jumping up causing Iron Bear Mark II to form followed by J hopping onto the modified mech. With J on Iron Bears back, Moze immediately slammed her right hand onto the red button causing the mech and J to merge. Now with Iron Bear in its fused form, Smoke quickly climbed onto the right shoulder of the mech. As soon as Moze was on the shoulder of Iron Bear, he bunkered himself down and started to open fire again. They massacred any Children of the Vault in their way with ease including Anointed who was another Goliath.
"This homicidal ritual is going faster than I had expected. As I said, I still have one trick up my sleeve, but...I'd rather not use it," Tannis spoke nervously.
"What is this trick she keeps talking about?" J asked growing annoyed. "She would rather die than use it,"
"She has her reasons, buddy. Just trust her...NOW PICK UP THE PACE!" Smoke shouted as he continued to gun down CoV.
"Folks we're nearly to our Grand sacrifice the one you've all been waiting for. The heretic scientist who dared to - " Pain paused as the speakers shut off for a brief moment before coming back to life. "Uh, that's odd - we seem to be having some technical difficulties."
"Vault Hunter the stream just cut off. What's happening down there?" Lilith asked.
"I think my girl is using her little trick to stall for time," Smoke answered as the Vault Hunter's entered an elevator.
"Sorry for that folks. Just a few technical difficulties on our end. Someone must have hanged themselves from the antenna again. But Terror's got us back on the air and we're just a few glorious deaths away from our grand sacrifice," Pain explained.
"They ain't going to sacrifice shit!" Smoke shouted as they made their way across the bridge and slowly opened the large doors.
"Ooh looks like we've got a late entry today - and viewers this one's a doozy! You know em you hate em...THE VAULT HUNTERS!" Pain introduced just as Carnivora broke its chains and began to drive off. "But hey kids! You can't hit the big time that easily. Terror! Let's take this show on the road!"
"Carnivora...IS A FUCKING TANK! WHAT THE FUCK?!" Smoke shouted.
"Tannis is still on that! Run it down!" Lilith demanded.
Moze was about to complain before the inventor looked over her shoulder to see his modified armored truck. A long grin grew on his face before he tapped Iron Bear's head and pointed in the direction of the armored vehicle.
"Disengaging fusion," Moze notified but was stopped as Smoke raised his left hand.
"No. Chase after Carnivora, I'll catch up to you both shortly," Smoke spoke as he hoped off Iron Bear and landed on his feet before running toward the modified truck.
As soon as Smoke was close enough, the modified truck's driver door opened allowing the inventor to enter with no time to waste. A smirk grew over Smoke's lips seeing it was repairing itself while they were fighting inside the large encampment before driving out to meet with his teammates. Moze nodded before turning her attention to the moving fortress and started to run after it. With Moze and J chasing after Carnivora, Smoke entered the truck and drove to his teammates. It took only a few seconds before Smoke caught up with Iron Bear before driving past them and flipped a switch.
"Moze! I'm going to fuse this truck with Iron Bear, alright!" Smoke explained just as he hit the brakes.
The soldier's eyes grew wide along with J before she braced for impact which never came as the truck broke into eleven parts. Moze watched as the eleven parts fused with Iron Bear giving it more armor and mobility as its feet fused with the wheels while the thrusters connected to the mechs back. On Iron Bears shoulders were the arms of the armored truck, its left extra limb was equipped with a heavy turret while the opposite arm had mini turrets. With Iron Bear and the armored trucks merging complete, it sped after Carnivora with Smoke hovering over Iron Bear in his cockpit.
"I got the extra limbs Moze. You and J got everything else alright?" Smoke called out revealing a strong magnet keeping the inventor's cockpit nearby
"What the hell is this Smoke?" Moze questioned while looking around with awe before bringing her focus back to the front and driving forward.
"A small project me and Ellie were working on now and again," Smoke answered.
"When did you have the time for this?" Moze asked narrowing her eyes.
"When I was upgrading Iron Bear. There are still things to work out like its time limit. Unlike Iron Bear, this beast of iron eats up energy a lot faster so make it count," Smoke replied with a chuckle. "Other than that it is ready to go!"
"Then let's get Tannis back," Moze said grinning.
"I will handle the weaponry," J notified while narrowing his eyes.
A second later, Children of the Vault vehicles started to come out of what seemed like nowhere and drove toward Iron Bear. The three Vault Hunters only scuffed at this before Smoke turned his cockpit to see behind the mech while having the extra limbs begin to fire at any unfortunate bandit vehicles who thought it was smart to attack from behind. Although the larger turret was swiftly dispatched a good amount of enemy vehicles, the smaller turrets more focused on slowing them down than destroying them.
"The bandits are getting trashed back here so watch your sides buddy," Smoke shouted.
J could only nod his head as they continued onward toward their objective. It did not take long before two CoV vehicles were spotted on Iron Bears' left side gained J's attention. With the fighter's attention shifting to the enemy vehicles, he narrowed his eyes before aiming the missile pod and firing corrosive rockets eliminating the enemies on the left. Once J finished the bandits on the left, some began to appear on their right earning an annoyed growl from J.
"These bandits are beginning to annoy me," J admitted while narrowing his eyes causing Iron Bears shoulder railgun to take aim and fire away at the furthest enemy vehicle.
"If that's the case WHOOP THEIR ASS!" Smoke shouted as he continued to deal with the hoard of bandits behind them. "How we doing on catching up to Carnivora Moze?"
"We are only a few feet behind it...but I don't see a means to enter while it is still on the move," Move notified while looking at the energy output seeing it was already down to half.
"Well if it is on the move...look for any gas canisters. I'll mark 'em for ya," Smoke pointed out seeing the hoard of enemy vehicles starting to die down.
"Targets acquired," Moze said narrowing her eyes as she started to fire her flame revolver and grenade launcher at any visible canisters taking only a few seconds. "All canisters destroyed...and it slowed down but not stopped,"
"There are two more canisters you gotta destroy and since the bandits aren't coming after us from behind anymore...we can help destroy them!" Smoke notified turning his attention forward along with J.
Before they could get any closer, Carnivora activated their own thrusters making it speed up ahead of them.
"Don't worry I got this," Smoke spoke up causing Iron Bears extra limbs to take aim and launch themselves like harpoons before the mech was pulled along with the CoV tank.
"Holy shit!" Moze spoke as she was pushed back into her chair due to the speed the tank was going.
"Less bitching and more shooting!" Smoke shouted holding on for dear life as well. "J! Deal with the under canisters!"
J nodded his head unaffected by the sudden change of speed as he took aim with the railgun and waited as it began to charge up. After a few seconds of waiting, he fired and hit the large canister with ease destroying it in one shot. With one of the large canisters destroyed, Carnivora slowed down enough for Smoke to grit his teeth and pull his wheel allowing Iron Bear to be launched forward. Moze took this chance to see the remaining two large canisters and opened fire on them, destroying the last canisters and causing Carnivora to stop in its tracks.
"Folks, we're going to take a quick break," Pain spoke through the radio. "Get this Calypso forsaken pile of TRASH MOVING...NOW!"
"Great work Vault Hunters, now get on board and save Tannis," Lilith spoke through the Echo-3 just as the modified truck split from Iron Bear and landed in front of them.
"Over and out boss," Smoke spoke exiting the armored truck robbing the back of his head groaning. "Note to self. Make better headrests,"
Moze hoped out of her mech and landed on her feet alongside J who rolled his shoulders.
"Now let's go save Tannis!" Smoke cheered as a long iron hallway broke off from Carnivora and landed in front of them allowing the Vault Hunters to enter.
"Convenient...I THINK NOT!" Smoke called out before running toward the entrance with Moze and J behind him.
"What about traps?" Moze asked looking at Smoke who chuckled.
"I can scan areas to find tech. No matter how well hidden it is, I'll see 'em," Smoke answered looking over his shoulder for a brief second before bringing his attention back forward.
"We still have to get past the hordes of CoV in this vehicle still Smoke," Moze reminded earning a chuckle.
"And they will all die the same as the others who got in our way," Smoke said with a wide grin.
