Ace looked at Marco, who was standing in front of him and Ace was down on his knees with his hands over his head, as the usual start stance they did in these scenes. Marco then asked for some positions, as he always did, and it felt so… calming. His mind just relaxed during these scenes, he didn't need to think he felt like. He did need to think a bit when Marco asked about things, like where they were, who he was, and such. It was really nice. They then finished the scene, and Ace grabbed his last things from his car and placed them inside Marco's home, or their home now.
And as he had, Ace looked at Marco, having just managed to put all his things into Marco's home. "I hope my stuff isn't in the wrong place." Marco shook his head. "No, it is fine. This is your place too now, yoi." Ace nodded, it was. He had never moved in with someone before, so this was new for him. It might have been a bit rushed, but he had a good feeling about this relationship.
He and Marco then enjoyed the day together, before they headed out to the city, and as they were walking around, they ran into Miles, an ex of Ace, who struck up a conversation, and Ace introduced him to Marco, and the other way, and Marco got a small frown, but acted nice. Marco then looked like he wanted to speak with him, but didn't while they were out. But when they got back home, Marco looked at him. "How many have you been with, yoi?" Ace shook his head a bit. "A few." Marco frowned more. "I have a feeling it is more than a few, yoi." Ace frowned. "What are you implying?" Marco shook his head. "Nothing." Ace shook his head. "No, I feel like you're implying I sleep around. And I don't." Marco shook his head. "I mean, maybe you should take a test, yoi." Ace blinked. Was Marco thinking he had slept around that much? "I don't nee-" Marco shook his head. "Maybe you should, I don't mean to imply yo-" Ace shook his head. "You are! You're implying I sleep around! And I don't!" Marco was on his way to speak, probably to tell him to take a test, and Ace didn't wait to hear it as he moved to punch Marco, before he left, heading into his car and driving away, feeling tears about to fall.
Did Marco really believe he was some kind of whore? Who slept with everyone around him? Because Ace wasn't. And he didn't need to take a damn test, since he had taken one, he always took one when he stopped seeing one, which wasn't that many, Marco was being a serious ass right now. He should have let him explain, but no, Marco was too busy thinking he was sleeping around. He felt some tears falling, and he didn't know where to head to, he had sold his apartment, but he had one safe place to go, and headed to Sabo's place, where he lived with Luffy. He sat a bit in the driveway for a bit, gathering himself, before he headed inside, yelling out it was him. Luffy was quick in hugging him, happy to see him, and Ace hugged back. Sabo then came from the hallway, having a frown when he saw him, and headed over and moved a hand to Luffy's back. "Go check on the food." Luffy nodded and did, and then he looked at Ace. "What is it? You never come unannounced." Ace let out a sigh, he should at least tell Sabo. "I had a fight with Marco." Sabo nodded. "About what?" Ace sighed. "He implied I'm sleeping around and should take a test." Sabo frowned. "But you have taken a test, and you don't sleep around." Ace nodded. "I know. But he wouldn't let me explain. He was keeping on implying I sleep around… So I hit him."
Sabo blinked. "You… hit him?" Ace nodded. "I was mad." Sabo shook his head. "Your temper at times, Ace. But, he was wrong to imply that. Because you don't sleep around. Not that I know everything, but I know that." Ace nodded, glad Sabo was with him. "Can I stay for a day or two?" Sabo nodded. "Sure. We have the room. Luffy really misses you too." Ace nodded, glad about that.
He then stayed with Sabo and Luffy, Marco tried calling him many times, but Ace just let it go to voicemail. He even sent messages that he was sorry and for Marco to apologize, but Ace didn't care. If Marco was going to be an ass, Ace would be mad. He needed to wind down. But as evening came, his phone rang, and it wasn't Marco, but Mika, so he answered it. "Hello." He heard Zoro speak first. "Ace! Did you punch Marco?!" Oh, this was a group call. "I kind of did. He made me mad." Shachi whistled. "Wow, I never could have done that. What did he do?" Mika then spoke right after. "Yes, what did he do?" Ace sighed. "He implied I sleep around, like with many, and he wanted me to take a test." There was silence for a few seconds, before Mika spoke. "He what? Are you joking?!" Ace shook his head. "No, I'm not." Shachi then spoke. "He was out of line with that. You don't strike me as a guy who sleeps around." Ace shook his head. "Because I don't. I have maybe like 4 people in my life, not many. And he wouldn't let me explain I had taken a test. I always do after I stop seeing someone." He always did, to be safe and that he didn't spread any disease around.
Zoro hummed. "I've punched Mihawk once, and I paid for that. But I didn't have a good reason though. I was just annoyed with the world." Ace felt a bit unsure with that. Maybe he had screwed a bit up? No, he hadn't, Marco was out of line. He should have let him explain. Mika then spoke. "Marco was here a bit ago, he felt really bad, and had a black eye." Ah, that was right, today was the day they were supposed to meet the others. They were probably worried about him. "I am fine though. I'm staying with my brothers for now." He heard Shachi hum. "That's good. Marco was worried for you, but I think he realizes he stepped wrong. Use the time you need." Ace would. "Yeah. Hey, thanks for calling." He heard Mika chuckle. "We had to call. We care for you, and I guessed it was you who gave Marco the black eye since he came alone." Oh, so Marco hadn't said it. "Yeah, I was just so mad. I needed to do something." He heard Shachi speaking. "No, you weren't wrong. Maybe you could have done something else other than punching him, but it happened. You can't change it now." That was true, he couldn't. But, he didn't regret it.
He spoke a bit more with the others, about this and that, before they hung up. And then he enjoyed being around his brothers for now, which was really nice. He really should be more around them, he has been so busy lately. He really enjoyed this. He stayed up long with his brothers, before he went to bed in the spare bedroom they had. They had a 3 bedroom home, which was a nice house. Since both of them worked, they could afford the mortgage on it and have money to spare. He was so glad his brothers were doing fine. That meant a lot to him, he had been worried when he moved out of their home and to his own apartment. But his brothers had done just perfect.
He then slept well in the bed, but when he woke up, he gave a breath as he felt an arm over him, slowly waking up and feeling someone kissing his shoulder. It took a few seconds, but he soon remembered he shouldn't feel this. He was supposed to be alone in bed. Sabo must have called Marco or Marco called Sabo, or something, because here Marco was, lying behind him. "I'm sorry, yoi." Ace gave a small huff. "I am clean." Marco shook his head, Ace feeling it against his shoulder. "You don't need to-" Ace shook his head, moving to look at Marco. "Yes I do, you asked. And you wouldn't let me explain that I always check after stopping seeing someone. Which is 4 by the way." Marco sighed. "I'm sorry, yoi. I shouldn't have implied. I should have let you speak." Ace nodded, still feeling a bit hurt. "Yes, you should have. I feel hurt you would think I might be with someone without checking. For implying I sleep around. For impling I am careless. I am not!" Marco shook his head. "I know, Ace. I do. I am so sorry, yoi." Ace still felt mad, but it was ebbing away, and he gave a look to Marco, who looked like he regretted it, and he could see how bad the punch actually had been. Marco really had a black eye.
Ace gave a small sigh. "Sorry for punching you." Marco shook his head. "It's okay, I deserved it." Ace nodded. "You really did. Sabo called you?" Marco nodded. "Yeah, he said you were here and I asked if I could come, and he said fine, yoi." Ace nodded, that made sense. He then stayed in bed with Marco for a bit, before they stood up. And they then had breakfast all together, Sabo seeming glad to see them having made up. They then headed back home, and in the car, Ace gave a small sigh. "I hope you won't punish me for hitting you." Marco shook his head. "No, I deserved that, yoi. I was being an ass." Ace nodded. "You really were." Marco then moved a hand to his leg. "I really am sorry." Ace nodded. "I know." They then spoke about things as they headed home and things were fine between them.
And that's the chapter, hope you enjoyed
