Cold Girl with a Lone Chilly Problem
Laphicet, Tsukune, Gin, and the girls are gathered in the nurse office with Eleanor and Medissa along with the fully recovered Kamoana sitting between them.
"Hi everyone, my name is Kamoana. It's nice to meet you all and I'm sorry for causing so much trouble yesterday." Kamoana introduced and apologized.
"It's nice to meet you, Kamoana." Everyone greeted.
"Wow, aren't you just the cutest thing." Moka complimented.
"Yeah, really glad you're not trying to kill us now." Tsukune muttered sweatdrop.
"So, what exactly is the story about a little girl hanging out in a high school building?" Gin asked curious.
"Well, you could say I had a part in it when I first attempted here as a first-year." Eleanor started her tale.
First off, let me tell you all that Medissa and I know each other more than you figure is because she's my adopted mother, raising me as her own when I was just a little baby." Eleanor revealed shocking everyone.
"Whoa, a mermaid being raised by a snake woman! Now that is totally unbelievable!" Kurumu gasped.
"And you knew about it all along, didn't you?" Velvet asked Magilou who is whispering innocently while looking away.
"Yes, I found Eleanor at my doorstep when I was at my home. There was a note saying to help raise Eleanor into the best monster girl she could be though there were no signature, so I could not tell who it was from and wonder why would anyone just leave a child. It was then I decided to take Eleanor in as my own daughter and I never regrated since." Medissa explained.
"Just like with me, right mommy?" Kamoana asked.
"Of course, you were the cutest little baby when Eleanor and I found you." Medissa poked Kamoana's nose making the girl giggle.
"And as for why Kamoana is in Yokai Academy, things back home were becoming a little… difficult for us to live in." Eleanor mentioned.
"What do you mean?" Yukari asked.
"I'm pretty sure you already know about Kamoana's power as a Therion, especially when it goes out of control if not checked in every once and a while." Eleanor reminded everyone from the incident yesterday, except for Gin who wasn't there at the time and only got brief about it.
"We used to live in a small town on the countryside, outside of Tokyo, where other snake people like myself lives and as you can guess they were against me raising different monsters in an all snake people village." Medissa said.
"Right, because some monsters are natural enemies to each other." Tsukune remembered that during class.
"That's right, but I was able to convince the village to let them stay only with a warning that if one of the girls were to do anything against the village then both of them would be banish." Medissa mentioned.
"(I guess she didn't made any friends much like I did.)" Moka thought, remembered the time when she went to a human school and couldn't make any friends.
"Let me guess, something went bad during your time there." Velvet guessed.
"Correct. Kamoana was playing with one of the villages' children, a simple game of tag nothing too serious. Except when she accidently used her Therion to absorb the little one's magic power from her body and went out of control." Medissa said as Kamoana looks down sad.
"After calmed Kamoana down, we left the village in search of a new home while I got ready for my first year in Yokai Academy, that was when were approached by the headmaster." Eleanor revealed.
"The headmaster gave us an offer to let me and Kamoana stay in Yokai Academy provided that I become the school nurse, he gave us a little penthouse to live in until Kamoana is old enough to enroll and live in the dorm." Medissa explained.
"Wow, that was very nice thing he did." Laphicet commented.
"He did, I'm glad that this school as a headmaster who is always thinking more of the students' wellbeing." Eleanor smiled.
"(Even though he is actually hiding something more than most of you know.)" Magilou thought smirked.
"Well Kamoana, I hope we can be good friends and play together whenever there's the time." Laphicet smiled.
"Yeah, I hope so too because Eleanor wouldn't talking about you whenever she comes home for dinner." Kamoana blurted out causing Eleanor's face to turn red.
"Because you're such a model student that others should follow your example and not one who shows off their body to another as sexually harassment." Eleanor glared at Kurumu making her spine shiver.
"Okay, I think it's about time you all have gone to class right now." Medissa clapped her hands.
"She's right, with everything that has been going on. We should be focusing on our classes at the moment." Moka nodded.
"Well, it was nice talking to you, Kamoana." Tsukune waved goodbye as everyone got up to leave.
"Bye everyone!" Kamoana waved back.
(Class 1-3)
"Kurono?" Shizuka called out as she is doing roll calls.
"Here." Kurumu responded.
"Mister Sato?"
"Present."
"Young Collbrande?"
"Present." Laphicet responded.
"And Miss Shirayuki?" Shizuka called out, but this time there was no response because there is no student sitting at the desk right in front of Tsukune.
"Well, I guess she must be out again today." Shizuka sighed.
"(Again… this student hasn't shown up to class at all since the new school year started. I wonder if something bad happen?)" Laphicet thought concerned.
Then they heard the door open seeing one girl walking inside the classroom.
"(Could that be her?)" Laphicet thought asked.
"(I feel like I've seen her somewhere before.)" Velvet thought.
The new girl has long light purple hair, blue eyes that has a bit of purple at the top and appears to be sucking on a lollipop. She a light brown pleated checkered skirt, a white sweatshirt with long dark blue sleeves with a black singlet underneath, a yellow pendant, long dark & light purple striped stockings with white shoes and a belt tied to her left leg. Breasts sizes: F-cup.
"I'm thrilled you decided to join us today!" Shizuka smiled as the girl nod.
"Moving on. Since we have a new student here, I guess introductions are in order. This is Mizore Shirayuki, extenuating circumstances prevented her from attending class up until now, but everyone please be nice and treat her like a friend." Shizuka introduced the new student to the class.
"Okay, I was not expecting that." Laphicet whispered to Velvet.
"Let just be glad we have our own little party after this." Velvet said.
"Oh right, the party at the Newspaper Club. I can't wait!" Laphicet excited.
(Later, Newspaper Clubroom)
Laphicet is seen sitting with Velvet, Magilou, and Yukari at the table with all the snacks set up ready to be eaten as right now they are waiting for the rest of the club members to arrive.
"Those guys sure taking their sweet time." Velvet said while a potato chip.
"Yeah, I was at least hoping Moka would be here, but I guess she's running late." Yukari said.
"I'm sure they're dealing with a little icy problem right now." Magilou said.
"Icy problem?" Laphicet confused of what the pink dress witch girl meant.
"I heard word that Mizore Shirayuki has finally joined class for the first time, I'd be careful around her if I were you." Magilou advised.
"You know something about her?" Velvet asked.
"I heard word that Mizore was quite the troublemaker back in middle school, but not in the delinquent kind of way. I happen to have seen her around the school often on my free time." Magilou mentioned.
"Then didn't you tell us about her before?" Velvet asked with a glare.
"You never ask." Magilou shrugged.
"I… I think she's lonely." Laphicet said getting their attention.
"I saw something in her eyes, she may seem okay on the outside but I can sense… something sad about her that she never interacted with other people before making her think she is all alone in the world." Laphicet said.
"Hmm, she does look like the kind of girl who is waiting for a prince to come rescue her from the loneliness, I wonder if she sees that in Tsukune?" Magilou wondered.
"What makes you think she'll go after Tsukune?" Yukari asked.
"Well, Tsukune does seem like the type who would draw in trouble, especially with girls falling for him." Magilou theorized.
Then they heard the door open.
"Hey, I was getting worried that you" Laphicet stopped his sentence when he notices Tsukune, Moka, and Kurumu are all wet and shivering.
"The fuck happened to you guys?" Velvet asked.
Soon, everyone got the three wet students dry up with a little heat spell from Magilou and some warm towels as they explain what happened not too long ago with Mizore at the lake.
"And that's pretty much what happened." Tsukune finished the story.
"You guys must have really had it rough." Yukari commented.
"I know things seem kinda dreary at the moment, but we did plan this warp party-ACHOO!" Tsukune sneezed.
"I think it would be best to cancel the party for today until you guys are fully recover." Laphicet suggested.
"He's right, the only thing you guys will be doing is rest." Velvet nodded.
"Damn, that stupid icy bitch! I had a romance cake ready and now its ruin." Kurumu complained.
"Maybe it's karma telling you to stop being a bitch." Velvet deadpanned and then everyone heard some noises outside.
"I wonder what's all that rackets about?" Yukari asked.
Yukari got up from her chair and open the door hearing the noises to be student talking to each other and Shizuka comes into the scene.
"Oh, thank goodness, you guys are still hear." Shizuka sighed in relief.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Moka asked.
"Did something happened?" Tsukune asked too.
"Yes. Your classmate Mizore had gone and gotten herself into a lot of trouble." Shizuka alerted.
(Nurse Office)
"And that's the story of what Mr. Kotsubo." Medissa explained to the Newspaper Club students after they arrived.
"Wait a second, do we even have any proof that she really did this?" Tsukune asked worry for Mizore.
"Proof? Who needs proofs when Mr. Kotsubo said that Mizore was the one who did it." A woman walked in.
"Ms. Ririko." The student shocked.
Ms. Ririko is a woman with dark brown with an auburn tint with circular glasses over her eyes. She usually wears a white v-neck shirt with a wide collar that reveals some of her cleavage and a dark skirt. Breasts sizes: G-cup.
"She was a problem child from the get-go, we really should've expelled her from the school a lot sooner." Ms. Ririko sighed.
"I think you should keep that idiotic mouth to yourself." Velvet said.
"What did you say to me, young lady?" Ms. Ririko asked.
"You heard me; how do we really know if Mizore really is at fault with attacking Mr. Kotsubo when we haven't heard her side of the story?" Velvet asked serious.
"I say let get kick out for not taking Tsukune's rejection like a mature woman." Kurumu shrugged and earned a whack on the head by Velvet.
"And you need to learn to think about taking action." Velvet lectured.
"And besides, Gin hasn't shown up yet." Laphicet said.
"Gin?" Everyone puzzled of what the short boy meant.
"Did someone say my name?" Gin entered the room.
"Gin, do you have them?" Laphicet asked.
"Yep, right here in my hand." Gin nodded showing some pictures.
"And what exactly do you have their, Gin?" Ms. Ririko asked curious.
"Why don't you see them for yourself." Gin showed everyone the photos in his hand and they gasp.
The photo shows that Mr. Kotsubo was with Mizore as he said, but the photo reveals that he was the one trying to assault Mizore when she was alone and sad with octopus tentacles.
"As you can see, Mizore was only defending herself from Mr. Kotsubo's assault on her and why he ended up like this." Laphicet explained.
"That's amazing, Laphicet!" Tsukune impressed.
"Hmm, okay, I guess Mizore will be off the hook for that. I should alert the faculty member as they are searching the school for her." Ms. Ririko admitted defeat.
"Well, I think I know where to find her." Tsukune said.
(With Mizore, Cliffside)
Mizore is seen standing close to the edge of the cliff looking sad as the world around her is becoming dark in her mind.
"Mizore!" Tsukune called out, getting her attention with the others following him from behind.
"Tsukune? What are you doing here?" Mizore asked.
"We heard what happened between you and Mr. Kotsubo, how about we go back to school and relax a little." Tsukune offered.
"Really? After rejecting me so harshly early, NOW you suddenly want me around. Is this some kind of game to you?" Mizore cried as cold winds blew from her body.
"Damn, she's a snow woman." Velvet grunted.
"I thought you would be the only one who understand me about being alone, but the truth is… there is… no one for me!" Mizore screamed and red ice clones of herself started appearing with the ground becoming ice.
"She's releasing her ice power too much; she won't be able to control it at this rate." Magilou warned.
Then the edge of the cliff began to crack under Mizore as she laughs insanely that she no longer wishes to live in a pointless life anymore, then she starts to fall.
"Mizore!" Tsukune ran and grabbed Mizore's hand to prevent her from falling.
"Tsukune…?" Mizore shocked.
"Hang on, I'm gonna try pulling you up." Tsukune struggled.
"What's the point? Just let me go." Mizore said.
"Just tell her what she needs to hear." Velvet said as she smashes the ice clones with her left Therion arm.
"Look, I know I said that I'm not lonely at the moment, but that's only because I have so many awesome friends by my side." Tsukune said.
"So? How does that-?" Mizore confused of what Tsukune is saying.
"That make us friends too, right?" Tsukune said as Mizore gasp.
"At least, I want us to be, but if you die on me then that won't happen." Tsukune said as he tries to pull Mizore.
"He got a point there." Velvet said, smashing the last of the ice clone.
"You can make as many friends as you want only if you allow yourself to be open to others and don't even think about dying unless you try to live your life." Velvet grabbed Tsukune by the back of the shirt and pulls both him and Mizore toward the others.
"You guys okay?" Laphicet asked.
"Yeah, we're doing just fine. Right, Mizore?" Tsukune asked the ice-woman.
"Yeah, doing okay." Mizore said softly.
(The Next Day)
"Well, got to say you guys sure know how to handle a cold situation like that." Magilou complimented.
"I'm just glad Mizore isn't getting expelled." Moka smiled before she sneezes.
"Is it me, or did it suddenly get cold around here?" Tsukune asked and everyone saw Mizore coming in with her hair shorter.
"I decided to shorten it. What do you think?" Mizore asked.
"Oh, I think it looks super-duper good on you!" Shizuka complimented.
"Yeah, let's get a pic on that." Gin snapped a picture of Mizore's shorter hair with his camera.
"Oh yeah, nice job on the photo." Tsukune said.
"I'm still amazes of how were you able to get them?" Laphciet wondered about that.
"Well, let just say I was at the right place at the right time." Gin bragged, but then Magilou uses her magic to make the other photos in Gin's pocket float revealing to be girls changing out of their uniform.
"Gin was actually snapping shots of the girls' body in the locker room." Magilou said.
"You creep!" Kurumu screamed.
"Stupid pervert wolf!" Yukari angered as the two starts beating up Gin.
"Better get comfortable in the Newspaper Club because that's how things are here most of the time." Velvet said to Mizore.
"That's okay. As long as Tsukune is here, I don't care." Mizore smiled.

Another day is save by Laphicet and his friends as they managed to melt the frozen heart of Mizore and stopped a suicidal attempt, things almost got cold there but everything worked out in the end. Now the only thing they need to worry about is whether or not to bring some extra sweaters now the Mizore is part of the Newspaper Club, and another thing they need to prepare themselves for.
