Once again, this is taking place between chapters 42 and 43 of the third arc.

Keisuke and Yu were at the aquarium in Ikebukuro. They were staring at the many fish inside the tank. "Well, well." Keisuke heard a familiar voice and looked behind him to see Matayoshi. "Who would've guessed you kids come here too."

"Hey, Matayoshi. What brings you here?"

"Oh, just passing the time."

"It's been a while, but all the fish I remember are still here." Yu said.

"They just swim around freely, not a care in the world, huh?" Matayoshi asked.

"I gotta say though, after seeing all those Digimon and Pokemon that live in the sea, it feels kinda weird to see normal fish again." Keisuke said.

Matayoshi laughed. "Ain't that the truth!"

Yu smiled. "I've been thinking actually…do you think Manaphy looks like any of these?"

Keisuke along with Matayoshi turned to him. "Good question. I haven't thought of that."

"Well, it's supposed to live in the deep sea, yeah?" Matayoshi asked. "I wouldn't be too surprised. That was quite the adventure we had, huh?"

Another day, another adventure in Oblivia. Right now, Ralph and a little girl were in Booker's house with the craftsman. "Aluna…Are you sayin' all of the adults have been at Lapras Beach since mornin'?"

"Yes. They like that blue sphere so much, they aren't even working."

"Could that blue sphere be the one from the old say' in Oblivia?"

"That's what they're saying…"

"What's this about?" It was only when Summer spoke up when they noticed that she, Ben, Takumi, Ami, Keisuke, Yu, Kellyn, Keith, Kyoko and Matayoshi were in the house.

"Oh? Hello, everyone! When did you get here?" Ralph asked.

"Just now." Ben replied. "We heard there was some kind of commotion going on around Cocona Village and thought we'd ask Booker if he knew anything."

"Oh, Ben! Sorry I didn't notice ya. Did you hear that? The people 'round the village are ignorin' their work and are caught in a blue sphere that's floatin' 'round Lapras Beach." Booker explained.

"A blue sphere?" Yu asked.

Aluna nodded. "The kids in the village haven't had breakfast or lunch. We're hungry…It's a problem."

"Wow. Yuuko would flip at those guys if she found out." Takumi sighed.

"You mentioned something about a saying in Oblivia?" Kyoko asked.

Booker sighed. "Everyone prob'ly believes that old sayn' is true."

Ralph nodded. "The one that says, "The blue sphere that comes from the ocean will enrich the people of the land," right?"

"That's right."

"You're kidding." Summer muttered.

"Well, strange stories and rumors aren't anything new to us with our line of work." Kyoko said. "In fact, you should hear some of the weird stuff people say about our detective agency."

"By the way, why are you so calm if you know that tale, Ralph?" Booker asked.

"Yeah. One would think a kid like you would be excited to see something like this." Terriermon added.

"In Oblivia, there are lots of legends and sayings, but many of them are silly."

Takumi smiled. "You're pretty mature for your age Ralph."

"Like the ones that say things like… "When the western sky is dyed red, it will be pretty"."

Booker nodded. "Or things like… "If your hiccups don't stop, pet a Bidoof's tail 99 times."."

Ralph laughed. "Or like, "Playing with fireworks in the afternoon is a waste!"

"There are even ones like… "If you want a rich life, saving money in the bank…" Umm, how'd the rest go? I don't remember."

Ben turned to the Cyber Sleuths. "Any of your weird sayings or rumors top that?"

"Apparently some people are saying our agency has "supernatural ties to another world."." Ami murmured.

"Or that if you show up at 2:22 AM, a door to that other world that shows up." Takumi added.

Everyone stared at them. "…Yeah, okay, you guys win." Keith said.

"Yaaaaaaay?" Palmon muttered.

"Excuse me…" Aluna asked. Everyone turned to her, "Isn't that enough to prove your point? Anyway, guys, please go to Lapras Beach. I want you to do something."

"That's right, everyone." Booker nodded. "Can you go to Lapras Beach and calm those folks down? Think of it as a kind of Mission…or case in the sense of you Cyber Sleuths."

"Please, Rangers! Cyber Sleuths!" Aluna pleaded.

"We'll do what we can." Kyoko said.

Ben turned to the nervous assistant in the corner. "You alright there, Nick? You've too quiet for Nick standards."

"Yeah, one would think you had some twisted fantasy about this thing." Ami added.

"I have a problem…" Nick muttered.

"Yeah, no kidding." Terriemron said.

Ralph tilted his head. "Nick, you don't look happy. Is that because of another one of your dreamed-up stories?"

"Whatever it is, I'm sure it's ridiculous." Ami muttered.

"I'm not imagining at all. I really am in trouble. This is what just happened…"

Nema, Nokia, and Rand stood in front of a wooden bridge over the river on Latolato Trail. "Papa, did Booker build this stripped bridge, too?"

"The logs aren't entirely straight, but I dig the stripes." Nokia added. "What's it called?"

"I hear that it was Nick, Booker's apprentice, who built this bridge." Rand said. "I don't think it has a name."

"Really?" Nema asked.

"That's kinda depressing." Nokia sighed. "I mean the Great Booker Bridge and The Union got names."

"I wonder if Nick would like us to name his bridge." Nema asked.

Rand smiled. "That's a good idea. A name that is cool, one of a kind, and charming would make Nick happy."

Nema and Nokia started whispering to each other. "That's it! Perfect!" Nokia grinned.

Nema turned to her dad. "How about this?"

"Okay, I take it back." Ami sighed. "If Nokia and Nema are working together to name something, it's not going to end well…"

Nick slumped in his chair. "So now the name is "The Red-and-White-Stripped Nick Bridge over the Creek in the Green Forrest."

Everyone went quiet before Keith spoke up. "So, who here wants to take a swing at explaining what "interminable" means to those two?"

"What does that mean?" Ralph asked.

"It's just plain too long!" Nick yelled. "I'm so proud of this bridge, but the name…"

"I personally like the "Red-and-White-Stripped" part of it." Ralph said.

"Me too." Kate nodded.

"That's the part I hate the most!" Nick panicked. "The name is impossibly long, too. If someone was out on a picnic and tried to read the signboard and bit their tongue trying to read it, it would be too painful to eat lunch. People can be really uncoordinated when they're hungry, so they might fall into the river…"

Everyone went quiet before Keisuke spoke up. "So, who here wants to take a swing at explaining what "overexaggerated" means to Nick here?"

"Tried that." Takumi replied. "Didn't help."

"Stop there, Nick!" Ralph sighed. "You worry way too much." Then he was hit with inspiration. "Oh! I just thought of something!"

"Huh? You got an idea, Ralph?" Aluna asked.

"What am I waiting for! I've got to go now!" Ralph ran out the door.

"Hey, Ralph! Where are you going?" Nick asked.

Booker sighed. "…You never change. You never know when to keep your mouth shut, Nick! Stop dreamin' up these ridiculous stories already! Look at Ralph and try to be a little positive for once."

"It's easy to say that, boss…But now I have another concern. Ralph is going to talk to Nema and Nokia, I think. That could mean…" Everyone groaned before Nick started. "That he'd start arguing with Nema while she writes the name on the signboard. This could easily become a big fight…They are both strong minded, so it'll grow into an even bigger fight. Sooner or later, they'll go into hand-to-hand combat and roll off the bridge into the river…"

"That's enough!" Booker growled. "Quit thinkin' negative, and go do somthin' already!"

"B-boss…I guess you're right." Nick sighed. He then turned to Takumi. "Takumi, I need to ask you a favor! Ralph and Nema are going to get into a big hand-to-hand fight! Please go and stop Ralph I'll catch up to you when I'm finished with work."

"Why are you asking me?" Takumi asked.

"Because you know Nokia better then most of us here and I don't want her bringing out Omnimon to back Nema up and injure Ralph in a one-sided brawl!"

Booker sighed. "You are so helpless…Sorry to trouble you, Takumi. Could you go and make sure that Nick's daydream doesn't come true?"

"Uh, guys? What about this sphere?" Yu asked. "Whatever it is, it sounds way more interesting-I mean urgent then Nick's paranoia fueled daydream."

"Well, we can't leave people who are in distress, and he did just assign the matter to Takumi." Kyoko said. "How about this. My assistant here will take Keisuke, Kellyn, and Keith and follow Ralph. The rest of us will investigate this sphere."

The group assigned with keeping tabs on Ralph nodded and Kellyn and Keith posed. "Quest (if you wanna call it that) on!" Keith declared.

"I'm sorry to trouble you…" Nick said. "But I can't help worrying about it."

"Stop yer talkin' already." Booker said rolling his eyes. "Takumi, why don't you try Rand's house? I'm sure they're not fightin'. You might find Ralph there."

Nixie along with four other people stood by the shore of Lapras Beach. "The blue sphere of happiness! Welcome to Renbow Island!" Out into the sea they could see something blue and round with a red symbol in the center floating in the ocean.

"Heeey! Float over here! Bring me some of that wealth!"

"This is sooo frustrating! Why is it so slow?" a young man growled.

Another man turned to him. "Just stay calm, now. If the blue sphere reaches these shores, we won't have to work anymore, and we can live richly."

Aluna, Ben, Summer, Yu, Matayoshi, Ami, and Kyoko came up to them. "Alright, what's going on here?" Ben asked.

"Oh, Aluna. And the Rangers and Cyber Sleuths too." A Lady said. "You must not have been able to wait around because you want to be rich, too, right?"

"No, that's not it…" Aluna replied.

"It's really not." Ben replied. "Unlike you people, we're a bit too busy with our jobs right now to worry over some nonse-

"Forget about your job!" a man said. "If we get rich off of that orb, we won't have to work again!"

"You're joking." Ami said. "That's why you guys have been standing around here watching some thing in the ocean for the last…uh…"

"Four hours." Aluna said.

"Thanks, Aluna. *Four hours*!?"

The man looked back into the sea. He took a step forward. "…What's that?"

Everyone looked into the water. Two shadows could be seen. They swam out towards the round object. "I can't tell what species they were, but I think they're sea Pokemon." Summer said.

"Hey, look." Yu pointed at them. "They seem interested in that sphere as well."

The lady smiled. "The sphere just won't float here, so they're going to retrieve it for us!"

"I doubt that." Kyoko said.

One of the men jumped up and down. "What thoughtful Pokemon! You can do it! Go! …Actually, it doesn't look like that's the case." The shadows swam up to the sphere and started dragging it deeper out into sea. "Those Pokemon…They're trying to return the blue sphere to the ocean current!"

"Oh good, I love it when a case closes itself." Palmon smiled.

"Stop that trickery!" the woman shouted. "Knock it off, you Pokemon!"

"I doubt they can hear you." Summer nodded. "Now if this matter has been settled, I'd like to point out to all of you that you have responsibilities you've been neglecting!"

"Heh, heh, heh. Thanks for the great get-rich-quick scheme."

Everyone turned around. A man on a Z.Z. Flyer zoomed up to them. "Who are you?!" Aluna asked.

"A Pokemon Pincher!" Ben glared.

"I'll be the one who get's that treasure! That means the only one getting rich is me! You guys can play with this Pokemon!" A Poochyena jumped out of the bushes. As the Pincher flew off the Pokemon got closer and the villagers backed up.

"So those punks are still around." Matayoshi murmured.

"Everyone, stay back!" Ben ran up to it. "Pichu! Capture on!"

"Pi!' Pichu started playing music as Ben shot his Styler and looped around it. After a bit of growling, the Pokemon left.

"Easy win." Ben turned around and everyone looked back into the ocean.

"What a mean guy!" the young man growled. "He's going to pinch the blue sphere!"

The lady turned to Ben and Summer. "Rangers! Get the blue sphere back from him!"

The villagers crowded the two Rangers. "That's right! This is a little job for the people of the village! Get it Rangers!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Everyone turned to Aluna and Yu in surprise as they shouted.

"Yu?" Ami asked surprised.

"Are you people listening to yourselves?!" Yu glared. "Why should Ben or Summer take the orb from that guy for you when you're acting the same way he is! You just want it for selfish gain! So, you could ignore your responsibilities! In fact, the only difference between you guys and him is that he had a Pokemon to attack with and a vehicle to fly out to get that thing in, so who's to say none of you would do what he just did if you could?!"

Matayoshi smiled at him before glaring at the villagers. "The boy's right. You people are grown ups, so start acting like it! Think of the poor example you're setting for the children of this village! You all should be ashamed for this behavior!"

Aluna turned to Ben and Summer. "Rangers, I don't know if that blue sphere is a treasure, but I want you to save it from the bad man. 'Cause it feels like that blue sphere is very sad somehow…"

"I felt it too…" Yu said. "This may sound strange but…I feel like that sphere might be…alive."

Kyoko's Digivice lite up. "You two may be onto something."

Kyoko took out her Digivice and it displayed an image of her Digimon. Ami looked towards it. "Alphamon?"

"I felt some kind of aura emanating from it. It's faint, but I do believe there is life of some sort in that orb. And I agree…there is a sorrowful feeling coming from it."

The villagers went quiet. "If that's the case, we definitely can't let that guy nab it to sell off." Summer said.

"I also want you to help." Nixie said. "Lapras will let you ride out into the ocean."

Ben and Summer looked at each other and nodded before posing. "Mission on!"

"Will you be going with them, detective?" Aluna asked Ami.

"I would if I could, but I don't have an Aqua Lung like Ben and Summer's."

"I can go underwater!" Palmon said. "Digivolve me, and I can go with them!"

"Same here!" Otamamon added. "I thrive underwater!"

Yu took out his Digivice and Ami pulled down her goggles. Aura burst around each of them.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Palmon Double Warp Digivolve to…Dianamon!"

"Otamamon Double Warp Digivolve to…MarineAngemon!"

"Lapuu!" Lapras was over to the Rangers. Ben and Summer climbed onto its back.

"MarineAngemon, be careful." Yu said.

Ami turned to her Digimon. "Please keep Ben and Summer safe, Dianamon."

"I'd join you, but my attacks are no good underwater no matter what form I'm in." Biyomon sighed. "Sorry,"

"Don't worry, guys. We got this. Take care of Pichu and Staraptor for us." Ben said before Lapras swam off. The two Digimon followed them.

Meanwhile the Pokemon carrying the orb dragged it deep underwater right when the Pincher was catching up to it. "Hey! Stop! Don't take it underwater! And it was just floating there too!" he growled putting on his Aqua Lung before his Z.Z. Flyer went in after it.

Lapras then caught up. Ben heard his Styler beep. "Picking up a metal signal from a Z.Z. Flyer."

"He got a head start." Ben put on his Aqua Lung. "Come on Sums!"

Summer put hers on. "Right behind you!" They dove in. The Digimon followed.

Meanwhile Takumi, Keisuke, Kellyn and Keith entered Rand's house. "Hey, guys, did Ralph come by here?" Takumi asked.

"Yes, he did." Yuugo replied. "Why, do you need him for something?"

Just then Nick came in. "Pant. Pant. I couldn't stop worrying about it, so I snuck out of work."

"You are just hopeless Nick." Terriermon sighed.

"Hey, guys, what's up!" Nokia waved. "Oh, Nick! Guess what Nema and I did today!"

Nema chirped up. "Are you here to see "The Red and White and Red-and-White-Stripped Nick Bridge over the Creek in the Green Forest"?"

"Try saying that three times fast." Keith joked. Kate laughed.

"When did it get another "Red and white"?" Nick asked. Could it be…? Ralph, maybe making fun of my worrying, playfully suggested to Nema and Nokia to add those words to the name…"

"Stop it!" Nema said.

"Nick a psychiatrist could make a fortune out of you, you know that?" Arata groaned from across the room.

"Ralph did come here just now, but he didn't mention anything like that! I just said "Red and white" twice by accident. Ralph only came here asking what would be a good name for your bridge, Nick."

"Th-that's all?"

"So where is he now?" Tentomon asked.

"The kid suddenly shouted, "That's it!" and skedaddled off in a hurry." Fei replied. "Beats me what he's got in mind, he might be headed for the bridge."

"What do you think his idea is?" Kellyn asked.

"Guys, can you go to my bridge for me?" Nick asked. "I snuck off, but I need to get back to work." Nick then ran out.

"I guess we should get going." Keith sighed.

"Wait, if all of you are here, what's going on with the investigation at the village?" Rand asked.

"Ami and the others are on it." Takumi said. "According to Booker, some blue sphere wound up in the water at Lapras Beach and now all the villagers are fixated on it."

Professor Hastings turned around. "What was that?! A blue sphere in the ocean you say?"

"Uh, yeah." Kellyn replied. "You interested in that sort of thing as well sir?"

Kate turned to her brother. "What?! Don't tell me you forgot bro!"

"Forgot what?"

Lunick and Solana looked at each other. Then they turned to the Professor. "Prof. Hastings, do you think it's…" Solana breathed.

"Might be…it just might be…Kate, Solana, Lunick, we're heading to Lapras Beach immediately."

"Yes sir!" The Rangers saluted before leaving with the Professor.

"What's that about?" Chitose asked.

"You got me." Keith shrugged.

"Well, let's let them handle this." Takumi said. "We got our own job to do."

The Pincher grinned as he looked at the orb he held. "All right! Now, I'm super rich! Still, is it my imagination, or is this blue sphere shaking?"

"Stop right there!" Summer yelled as she, Ben, Dianamon, and MarineAngemon caught up to him.

The Pincher gasped. "Rangers! What are you doing here? Aha…I've got it. You want to be rich too, huh?"

"No, we-

He interrupted Ben. "Too bad! This blue sphere is mine!" He zoomed deeper in.

"Summer, grab onto my shoulders!" Dianamon said. Summer grabbed hold and Ami's Digimon zoomed after him.

"Ben, grab hold of me!" MarineAngemon said.

"Uh…okay." Ben muttered grabbing the small Pokemon's tail. Next thing he knew they were taking off faster then Dianamon and he held onto the small Digimon for dear life. "Whoooooooa! What the heck is going on?!"

"I told you I thrive underwater!"

The Pincher keeps going in, next thing he knew, Ben and MarineAngemon were right in front of him. "Wha-?! How the heck did you do that?!"

Ben was slightly dazed. "Not gonna lie, I'm actually just as baffled as you are."

"Hey!" Dianamon came at the Pincher from behind with Summer. "Wow, you really are fast MarineAngemon."

"As for you, give it up already!" Summer glared at the Pincher.

"Man, you're stubborn. You want to be rich that bad, do you?! I'm not gonna let you grab the thing I…grabbed!"

"Stop!" Summer yelled. "Listen, that sphere is- A Carvanha came up to her ending the conversation. "Okay, I guess we're doing this now!"

MarineAngemon swiftly swam up to it. "Ocean's Love!" Hearts swirled around the Pokemon and it calmed down.

"Alright! You're really pulling your weight on this Mission, MarineAngemon!" Ben grinned.

"Argh!" the Pincher groaned. "With this blue sphere, I thought even an ex-Pincher like me could live out the rest of my life in ease!" The Pincher dropped the sphere and flew towards the surface.

Ben grabbed it. "Whew. Looks like we managed to get it without too much trouble." Just then, something long and fast, whacked him in the back, making him drop it. "GAH!"

"Ben!" Summer then saw something huge rise up. It looked like a Seadramon, but it was gigantic and made of metal. "Eeeek! W-what is that?! It's massive!"

Ben looked at his Styler. "GigaSeadramon! Data Type Mega Level! It carries the X Antibody and has the fastest moving ability and the best at interception under the sea!"

"Ben! The orb!" MarineAngemon shouted as the blue orb started to slowly sink.

"The blue sphere is losing it's buoyancy and sinking. It could be damaged by coral on the sea floor if it falls." Ben's Styler said.

"We don't have time for this!" Ben growled.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Something blue and gold charged into the Digimon from the side. The GigaSeadramon was rammed into the rocky formation.

"What the-

Dianamon looked up and gasped. "Magnamon!"

The Royal Knight backed up and his armor glowed. "Plasma Shot!" Golden orbs flew at the enemy Digimon, but it swiftly maneuvered it's long body around them. He then turned to the Rangers. "Is everyone alright?"

"When did you get here?!" Summer asked.

"I could see everyone gathered at the beach as I flew overhead. I heard about the situation from them and thought I might be able to aid you."

"Well, you couldn't have come at a better time!" Ben replied.

"Giga Sea Destroyer!" A torpedo, shaped, golden energy blast came from its mouth. Magnamon dodged it before taking another shot, that was easily evaded.

"Magnamon, if this keeps up, the coral in the sea could be destroyed!" MarineAngemon said.

"You're right. And GigaSeadramon has a huge advantage underwater…In that case…Dianamon, give me a hand! We're taking this to the surface!"

"Right!" Dianamon flew towards the GigaSeadramon. "Good Night Moon!" Her boots glowed in it's eyes, making it slow down. Magnamon grabbed the back of it's head and Dianmon grabbed it from the other side. "MarineAngemon, help Ben and Summer get that orb back!"

"Right!" MarineAngemon nodded as the two Digimon carried GigaSeadramon away.

"I hope those two will be okay." Ben said. "But for now, let's hurry after that orb!"

When Keisuke, Takumi, Kellyn and Keith got to the bridge, Nick was already there. "Couldn't resist, huh?" Keith asked.

Nick was looking at a sign. "Before I knew it, it had a sighnboard. It must be Ralph who did it."

Kellyn looked at it. "It's blank. He didn't write anything on it yet?"

"Could it be…? He needed paint for the signboard, so he went to the storehouse at Hinder Cape. Then he tripped over the stacked cans of paint and got paint all over his body, like red, white, red, white. Blue, green, yellow, brown…"

"That's an oddly specific pattern." Keith said.

"Takumi! I'll head for the storehouse at Hinder Cape." Nick then ran off.

"Ho, boy. Guess we better go after him." Takumi sighed. "I sure hope Ami and the others are having a better time right now."

Ami and the others waited at the shore. Professor Hastings, Kate, Lunick and Solana came up to them. "Hey guys!" Lunick waved.

Kyoko turned to him. "Oh, Professor. I take it you're curious about the blue orb as well?"

"Actually, the four of us might have a good guess on what it is." The man smiled.

"Really?" Ami asked.

"Call it a hunch." Kate said. "So, where is it?"

"Well…"

Booker walked up to them. "How are things going out here?"

"Oh, Booker." Ami sad. "A couple of Pokemon took the orb underwater and a Pincher went after it. Ben and Summer are giving chase with our Digimon. Magnamon also just showed up and offered assistance."

"They're taking a while now. Do you think they're going to be okay?" Yu asked.

"Magnamon should easily be able to handle a lone Pincher." Alphamon replied. "Trust me, they won't be much longer now."

Just then the Pincher surfaced and flew away. "Hey, the bad guy's leaving." Aluna said.

"Looks like Alphamon called it." Matayoshi smiled. "The Rangers should be back any minute now-

Just then GigaSeadramon came out, carried by Magnamon and Dianamon. "Gah! What is that supposed to be?!" Booker gapped.

"That's gotta be the catch of the day!" Ami exclaimed.

"Or the decade!" Solana added.

The GigaSeadramon shook Magnamon and Dianamon off before it fired at them again. The two of them dodged. It then shot energy shells from its back at them, and when they evaded those, they went towards the people at the shore. The villagers screamed as the attack got closer. A aura glowed around Matayoshi. "Biyomon!"

DIGIVOLUTION

"Biyomon Double Warp Digivolve to…Hououmon!" Matayoshi's partner took flight. "Starlight Explosion!" Golden orbs intercepted the attack. "Sir! I'm going to help! I may not be much use in the water, but flying's my specialty!"

"Just don't do anything careless."

Hououmon flew over to Dianamon and Magnamon. "So, what happened down there?"

"Don't ask." Dianamon replied before the three of them dodged another blast. Magnamon swooped under it as Dianamon blocked some energy pellets with her weapon.

Hououmon rammed his talons into its face and then Magnamon grabbed it by the tail and started spinning it. "All yours Alphamon!" He threw it towards the beach.

Kyoko held up her Digivice and Alphamon came flying out. In a burst of gold, she transformed with her Ouryuken in hand and flew at it. "Ultimate Ouryuken." With one clean swing, she sliced it in half. It dissolved into pixels that went into Kyoko's Digivice.

"Phew, that was scary." Yu said. "I hope Ben and Summer are doing okay down there…"

Takumi and his party reached the storehouse just as Nick was exiting. "Did you find him?" Keisuke asked.

"Huh? That's strange. Ralph isn't here. Could it be…? He didn't find any paint in this storehouse, so he headed for Tilt Village in a hurry, then he fell off the Big Booker Bridge…How horrible! Ralph!"

"Nick, calm down, you know how wide that bridge is!" Takumi scolded. "Nobody's falling off it so easily!"

Just then a fisherman came over. "Nick! So, it was you who was making so much noise."

"We're looking for Ralph." Kellyn said. "Have you seen him around here?"

"I just saw Ralph, going to Nick's bridge with lots of logs."

"Takumi! Sorry to make you go back and forth, but can you go back to that bridge again? I'll go there first and wait for you." Nick ran off.

"Nick never changes." The fisherman sighed.

"Thank you for the information." Kellyn said.

"No problem. "I'll just go back to fishing. See you, Rangers."

As he left Takumi shook his head. "Well, we came this far, might as well see this through."

Summer pointed her Styler at the orb in Ben's hands. "Voice Nav.?"

"Confirmed a life-form signal from the blue sphere. The blue sphere…It's alive."

"Just like Yu and Aluna said!" Ben gasped.

"We should head back." MarineAngemon said. "I'm worried about Magnamon and Dianamon."

Takumi and the others caught up to Nick at the bridge. Ralph, Nema, Nokia, Agumon, and Gabumon were already there with three signboards lined up. And these was someone else there…

"Is that Jesmon?" Kellyn asked.

"Hi, Ralph!" Nick gasped. "And Nema and Nokia, too?"

The Royal Knight turned around. "Oh, Takumi. Fancy meeting you here."

The others turned looked at the party too. "Huh? Are you guys having a picnic?" Ralph asked.

"I'm glad that you didn't end up fighting hand to hand." Nick sighed in relief.

"What are you talking about?" Nema asked.

"What else, another one of his weird daydreams." Nokia said. "It's his character quirk."

Nick then looked at the signs. "Huh? Now we have three signboards…?"

Ralph smiled. "The name of the bridge is so long that anyone who attempts to read it would bite their tongue. Is that what you were worried about, Nick? Then I thought…if the name is really extremely long, no one would even try to read it aloud!"

Nick's eyes widened. "W-wow, you thought about that…?"

"I suppose that's…one way to solve the problem." Takumi admitted.

Kellyn looked at the signs. The first one said, "The over the Creek in the Green Forrest, the Red-and-White-Stripped". The next one read "Wounderfully Crafted, Raikou Safe with No Creaking". And the last one said, "Renowned All Over the World for Connecting Yesterday and Tomorrow like a Connect Jump and Proudly-Built-by-Nick Bridge". Kellyn smirked at Keith. "Try saying THAT three times fast."

Nokia grinned. "And that's not even the best part! Think about it. Your bridge now has the longest name in the world!"

Agumon nodded. "Your bridge will be so popular, Nick!"

"Yeah, just think of all the tourists from all over this world it'll attract!" Gabumon added.

Ralph grinned. "And they'll say, "Ah, this is the bridge with the longest name in the world!" We need to take pictures on this bridge!" "Say cheese!" Stuff like that."

"People will take pictures on my bridge as a memento?" Nick asked. "…You've thought of something so wonderful."

"The only problem was that the name was so long that it wouldn't fit on one signboards…That's why I've been running all over."

"Ralph, you're sweaty all over." Nema cringed.

"I saw this kid having trouble with all those logs he was carrying so I offered to help." Jesmon explained. "I carved them up into pieces for these signs."

Takumi smiled at Nick. "So, what do you have to say now?"

Nick was quiet at first. "…I'm sorry for doubting you, Ralph. Takumi, and everyone…I'll use this incident as a lesson to try to be more positive. I'll learn from Ralph."

"Now you're talking!" Nokia smiled. "Truth be told, when I was little, I lacked confidence myself. But my cousin Date thought me to stand up for myself. You can do it, Nick!"

"Yes, I agree!" Jesmon nodded. "I worked hard as an apprentice of Gankoomon and worked up the confidence to become a Royal Knight! Aim high and reach your dreams Nick!"

Kellyn smirked at Keith. "I guess you can teach him a thing or two about learning confidence yourself, huh mister "Hellomeetcha"?"

Keith face turned red. "Oh, put a sock in it, spike-head!" Kellyn laughed as he ducked under Keith's fist.

"Well, I guess this means our work here is done." Keisuke smiled.

Kellyn and Keith possessed. "Quest (if you wanna call it that) clear!" Keith declared.

"All right! Give us something positive right now!" Nema said.

"Uh-uh…" Nick stuttered. "I'm…uh…not…ready for…Er…Let me see…" Then he got something. "…! I've got it! A bridge with the longest name is one thing, but someday I'll try to-

"Do, or do not, Nick." Jesmon said. "There is no try." Takumi smiled as he heard the knight quote his master.

"Then I WILL build the longest bridge in the world!"

"Whoa, you did it!" Ralph cheered. "Is it going to be longer than the Big Booker Bridge?"

"Of course! It'll be ten times bigger than the Big Booker Bridge, or even a hundred times longer! It's so long that you can walk from here to Almia or to Fiore!"

"Nick, you went a bit too far there." Nema giggled.

"Haha!"

Just then Keisuke's Digivice started ringing and he put it on. "Hello?"

Yu appeared on the lenses. "Keisuke, have you finished dealing with Nick's problem?"

"Yeah. Just now."

"Then all of you get to Lapras Beach! Ben and Summer got the sphere and Professor Hastings says he knows what it is!"

"Got it. On our way." Keisuke hung up. "The sphere's secure. The others are waiting for us at the beach."

"Then let's not keep them waiting." Takumi replied.

"I'll go with you. It's on the way back to work." Nick said.

"I should get back to my patrol." Jesmon said. "Take care everyone." The knight then took off.

"We're gonna go wash this pant off our hands." Nokia said. "Tell us about it when you get back!"

Takumi nodded. "Can do. Okay, let's go!"

Everyone gathered around the sphere back at the beach. "Ben, Summer, you two did a great job today!" Professor Hastings smiled.

"We owe, Magnamon and the other Digimon credit for this victory." Summer replied.

Booker stroked his beard. "So, this is the blue sphere, huh…"

A young man in the crowd gazed at it. "It's so beautiful…"

"It makes me feel so peaceful." A lady added.

The man tilted his head. "I'm starting to think this isn't a treasure but rather…How should I say it? Something irreplaceable."

The other man gasped. "And look! It's strange how it looks like it's slightly shaking, almost as if it's trying to talk to us."

"I guess that proves Yu's right about it being alive." Ami said.

"Well, it really is shakin'." Booker said.

Keith looked at his fellow Rangers. "You guys got a clue what it is?"

Lunick folded his arms. "Now that I've seen it, there's no room for doubt."

"Yeah. You and I have seen one of these before." Solana added.

"I saw one with Kellyn too." Kate added.

Kellyn took a closer look. "Wait a second…yes, I saw this before…Is this…?!"

Professor Hastings smiled. "Yes, there's no mistaking it. This blue sphere is actually a Manaphy Egg."

"A Manaphy Egg?" most of the group asked.

"This thing's an Egg?" Terriermon asked. "Then I guess it really is alive inside."

"What kind of Pokemon is Manaphy?" Yu asked.

"A very rare sea Pokemon." Lunick replied.

Booker nodded. "Yes, I'd say you're right Hastings. When I was a young man travelin' the vast sea in a sailboat, I saw one that looked just like it."

"Ah, that would explain the life force I feel." Alphamon said. "What a pure aura…That spark of light Yu and Aluna felt must have been the life within this Egg."

"I'm glad we stopped that Pincher." Ben said. "Life is something you could never put a price on."

Magnamon nodded. "Yes. There are many things people refer to as miracles. But the most precious one of all…is the gift of life. There is nothing more sacred in any world."

Kyoko smiled. "Couldn't have said it better myself."

Aluna knelled and petted the Egg. "It's okay now, Manaphy Egg."

One of the villagers sighed. "I'm kinda ashamed of myself now… I feel like the Manaphy Egg and Aluna taught me something important."

A lady nodded. "But it's mysterious. Just looking at that blue light somehow makes my heart feel richer."

"The blue sphere that comes from the ocean will enrich the people of the land." The young man quoted. "So, I guess that saying is true!"

A man smiled. "I got to see something nice today! Well then…Guess it's time to get back to work!"

A woman gasped. "Now that you mention it, I completely forgot about breakfast and lunch!"

"I bet the kids are really hungry. Let's hurry back to the village!" The villagers left.

"Hopefully, they'll know for next time to be more responsible." Kyoko said.

Aluna looked back at the Egg. "Booker…I don't think this Egg was really supposed to come here."

"Whatcha mean?"

"I was thinking the same thing." Ami added. "Those two Pokemon tried to take it out to sea into the ocean current when it drifted close to here. Almost as if the Egg went off course and they tried to get it back where it belongs."

"Yeah." Aluna nodded. "I've been thinking about why that may be this whole time…"

"Hmm. A good observation." Alphamon nodded. "If this Egg belongs in the sea, I imagine the sea Pokemon understand it better then we do."

Professor Hastings nodded. "Very well put. Indeed, it is just as you two say. My guess is that it got lost on the ocean current and gone off track to its appropriate destination."

"What should we do then?" Takumi asked. "We could take it to the current ourselves, but there's no guarantee it'll safely get to where it needs to go…"

Solana smiled. "I got a better idea. This isn't the first time we found a lost Manaphy Egg."

"If anything, this one makes three." Prof. Hastings added.

"Are you serious?" Ben asked.

Kellyn grinned. "So, are we doing the same thing we did with the other two?"

Professor Hastings nodded. "Yes, I know exactly what you three are thinking. I agree. We'll find an excellent Trainer who can take good care of it!"

"Like we did with Shaymin!" Ami smiled.

Aluna nodded. "That's a great idea! Please do that!"

Booker laughed. "That was a nice experience, wasn't it, Aluna?"

"Yes!"

"Now that you mentioned it, Aluna, I remembered the rest of that sayin'."

"That one about raising money?" Yu asked.

"It went like this… "If you want a rich life, saving money in the bank is secondary to saving memories in your heart."

Everyone smiled. "Good advice." Matayoshi said.

"Saving memories in your heart…" Aluna whispered.

"That's right." Professor Hastings nodded. "Aluna, you made a memory to save in your heart today."

Nick smiled at the Egg. "I bet this Manaphy will accomplish a lot with it's life alongside it's Trainer! I can't wait to find out what it accomplishes!"

Booker looked at Nick in surprise. "You're in high spirits. What happened to you?"

"Let's just say Nick got his own enriching experience today." Takumi grinned.

Booker looked at the Rangers. "Ben, Summer, you could say that you saved up a little life experience today. Hey, Hastings, mind if I say it?"

The Professor laughed. "Go right ahead Booker."

"Mission Clear!"

Ben and Summer posed.

Matayoshi laughed. "Ah, yes, I'm sure that Manaphy and its Trainer are picking up some rich experiences themselves right now."

"Yeah." Keisuke smiled looking at the aquarium. "And we'll keep picking up new experiences too, right Yu?"

The boy smiled. "Of course!" He then looked back at the fish. "Good luck little Manaphy. Good luck."

And that's my take on the Manaphy Wireless event. I also snuck in one of my favorite Quest. I personally love Nick's character development.
