This has continuity with my Paragons story, although this can function as a stand alone. I watched the final part of the Flash Armageddon Five parter and naturally this idea popped into my head.

Death Comes Knocking.

Disbelief flooded through Mia Queen. She could not believe Team Flash was going to let a sociopathic monster like Eobard Thawne live. To even think they were going to consider saving this monster, it twisted Mia's stomach.

One thought entered Mia's mind. She knew what she had to do. A watch dangled from her wrist. She leaned in to speak the pass code.

"Enter the Dragon."

A flash of light emitted from behind her and a figure appeared behind Mia with a soft pop.

"You rang?"

Mia turned around and faced the emerald-eyed sorcerer, the one and only Master of Death, the Boy-Who-Lived, The Dragon, Harry Potter. He stood before Mia dressed in an absurd Christmas sweater, green trousers, and a Santa hat, which almost made Mia crack a smile.

"Hey, Mia," Harry said. "How are you doing?"

"Well, I've been better," Mia said. "I called you here. Eobard Thawne is here."

"The Reverse-Flash?"

Here, Harry's eyes narrowed, and Mia could feel a chill. And not the good kind she felt around Harry usually.

"He's about ready to phase out of existence," Mia said. "And he's come to Team Flash, begging to be saved. To be saved from being erased."

"Barry couldn't be that stupid after all Thawne's done."

"Harry?"

Caitlin Snow walked down the hallway and greeted Harry with a warm smile and a warm hug. She pulled away

"Thawne's here," Harry said. "Isn't he?"

"Yes," Caitlin said. "He only has less than an hour to live."

"Even less than that."

Caitlin looked at Harry for a long second and nodded. She understood Harry's responsibility perfectly.

"I'll make sure you're not disturbed," Caitlin whispered. "So you can do your job…Barry and Iris were for it, but now Joe's convinced them to find a way to save Thawne."

Harry stepped into the lab, where Thawne was being contained. The stolen face belonging to Harrison Wells masked the mind of a sociopath. Thawne jumped when coming face to face with Harry.

"You."

"Me," Harry said.

"Did the Archer call her pet Dragon? Or did Snow?"

"Funny," Harry said. "Real amusing, you are, Thawne. You see, you're a problem with my line of work. You've cheated your death for a long time. Four, five times, you should be gone. And yet you keep coming back."

"So, are you going to kill me?" Thawne asked.

"I'm merely correcting a mistake that should have been corrected a long time ago," Harry said. "I'm sure Barry's convinced himself that if he lets you die, he'll be no better than you. He still wants to be the better man. To show mercy. I remember the last time I showed mercy to someone, people paid for it dearly."

"Pettigrew," Thawne murmured.

"Well, you've done your homework," Harry said. "You are nothing, but a sad man, Eobard, as far as I'm concerned. Sadistic. You'll never change. There's no low that you won't stoop to, if it makes the Flash suffer. You lead an invasion of Nazis and almost cut my wife's heart out!"

"Ah, so this is what this is all about," Thawne said. "Bit petty of you, isn't it, Harry?"

"Works for you, Thawne."

Harry casually snapped his fingers and Thawne's particles sped up until he faded into oblivion, wiped completely from existence from the Master of Death. It helped that the timeline being reset was already erasing him. Harry just hyper-sped it up.

"What did you do?"

The Flash appeared outside, just in time to see his mortal enemy disappear thanks to Harry's efforts.

"Housecleaning," Harry said. "I'll send you the bill."

"He could have…"

"No."

Harry absolutely shut off any moralizing lecture that he was sure was coming next. He walked past the entire gobsmacked Team Flash.

"Oh, Desparo, I know you can hear me," Harry said. "I stopped Armageddon from ever happening. Leave. Before I make you leave."

Harry sensed Desparo followed his warning. He learned his lesson after the first psychic ass kicking Harry gave him.

"Well, nice seeing you all again, Iris, Cecile, Allegra, Frost…."

Harry paused, racking his brain for a name for Cisco's replacement. The new tech guy. Really, Team Flash had way too many people. Caitlin leaned in and whispered in his ear.

"Chester."

"Right, Chester, and Barry, and Joe," Harry said. "Kara sends her love. No need to thank me. Just doing my job. Merry Christmas to all. And to all a good night."

And with that, Harry vanished with a pop to rejoin Kara and Lena, his job done.

End.
