This chapter takes place during chapter 42 of The Next Heroes.
Ravio laughed. "Well Ben, everyone, goodbye. Enjoy your future."
"Goodbye Ravio. My friend." Takumi said.
"Take care, Hero of Oblivia." Ben smiled.
Ravio took one last look at all of his friends waving and his allied Pokemon howling. "So long New Heroes of Oblivia." He jumped into the portal along with Celebi. "Let's go partner! A new adventure awaits!"
"Bi!" Celebi followed him through the gold hole and it closed behind them, disappearing without a trace.
In Conona Plazza, Kira, and Tanvir, now a bit older were looking around. "Where did he go now?" Kira asked.
"No idea." Tanvir sighed. "That boy. I sure hope he's not getting into anymore mischief. Of all the times for him to go missing too."
A golden light appeared above them. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ravio came crashing down on top of Tanvir.
Kira turned around. "Ravio?!"
"Ow! Okay, that one was defiantly on purpose Celibi!" Ravio growled. His partner laughed.
"Still can't just walk into a room normally, huh?" Tanvir sighed.
"Oh, sorry Tanvir." Ravio quickly got up when he realized he was sitting on the poor man.
Kira had her hands on her hips. "Ravio, where have you been?! We've been looking all over for you!"
"Oh, just…around."
"Not going to tell us where you were by any chance, are you?" Tanvir asked.
"Not important. Anyway, what's up?"
Kira sighed in exasperation. "Well, now that we found you, we need your help. Remember the old temple Mew gave you the Weaver of Light at?"
"Yeah? What about it?"
"It turns out one of Sabios's men managed to escape us and is holed up in there. We sent troops, but they were chased out by what was reported to be a strange Pokemon."
"A strange Pokemon?"
"And that's not the craziest part." Tanvir said. "All the scouts are reporting different things about it. Not only are their reports on its appearance varied, but they're saying different things about its power. One group said it fairly skilled in all fronts, another team says it's defenses are impenetrable, another says it moves at a speed impossible to keep up with, and another said it's attack power is immense."
"Are we sure we're just talking about one Pokemon here?" Ravio asked.
"Well, all parties agreed that it's a red and greenish Pokemon with powerful Psychic abilities. One thing's for certain. It's no ordinary Pokemon."
"That's why we were looking for you, Ravio." Kira said. "You went up against the likes of Giratina and Lugia. Maybe you can do something about it."
Ravio sighed. "One mess right after another, huh Celebi? No rest for the weary."
"Seriously, what were you doing just now?" Tanvir asked.
"Like I said, not important. Anyway, if Sabios's chumps are up to their old schemes, I guess it's my duty as the "Hero of Oblivia" to take em down, right? Besides, I made a promise to Ben and the others. I have to protect this era!"
"Heh. I figured you would say that." Tanvir smiled. "But rest assured…" His Partner Pokemon Gallade and Kira's Partner Pokemon Gardevoir walked up to them. "You won't be going in there alone."
"Awesome!" Ravio cracked his knuckles. "Then let's get to it!"
Ravio, Tanvir and Kira entered the temple together. The first room stretched forward and had a fork that reconnected like a loop. Tanvir looked around. "Something's not right…the air here feels so…tense compared to when I was last here."
"Really? Didn't Mew have you and Celebi face multiple Pokemon as a test?" Kira asked.
"Yes. When we reached the back room, Mew itself challenged us…Wait…Is Mew still here?! Do you think it's alright?!"
Tanvir looked down. "Hmmm…It's fairly known that you go the Weaver of Light from Mew here. I imagine that may be why the Oracle came here."
"We'd better hurry then." Kira replied. "If he gets his hands on Mew, who knows what he'll do with him."
At the two paths, two Treecko came towards them. Ravio held up the Weaver of Light and drew a sign. "Come forth, Croagunk!" His Pokemon appeared in front of him in a glorious light. It spewed poison at them. It chased them away. "Huh. That's not good. The Pokemon here are usually really claim."
"This must be the rouge Oracle's doing." Kira said. "Even after you defeated Sabios and freed them from his mind control, there are still those who serve him willingly. My guess is that this one wants revenge…"
"And the only way he can think of doing so, is by doing what Sabios did before. Take a temple and drive the Pokemon in it mad."
"Last time we had Ben and the others to deal with this." Kira said. "But we're on our own now. We did promise to deal with the aftermath so they could have a good future."
Ravio closed his eyes as he reflected on the future Oblivia he saw. "Oblivia's future was beautiful…I was worried how'd they manage after the region was split apart by the Sky Fortress…But they persevered. They made it something incredible…They recovered from the scars Sabios made in this time. Ben…Summer…Takumi…Ami…Keisuke…I'll make sure your future comes to pass." Ravio looked ahead. "Let's do this." They went down the path ahead and found a yellow switch. Kira stepped on it and a red square appeared connecting their land to the next where they took the green Warpzone to the next area.
They marched on ahead and a Torchic a Mankey and a Mothim. The Fighting Pokemon charged while the Fire Type covered them by spewing flames, and the Bug Pokemon flung a whirlwind.
"Gallade, defend!" Tanvir's Pokemon batted the fireballs away with its arms.
"Gardevoir!" Kira's Pokemon stepped the Mankey with its Psychic powers and made them pass out.
"Alright!" Ravio drew another Sign. "Come out Aaron!" He summoned another Pokemon that threw a rock into Torchic and Mothim, knocking them out. "Alright, onward!"
They pressed ahead and the path split into a loop again. Only in the gap they saw a small land with a WarpZone. "That's the way forward, but I don't see how we're supposed to get there."
"I know. Follow me." Ravio led they to the other end of the loop where two bigger yellow switches were. "Kira, stand on that one."
"Okay." The woman stood on the switch to the left, and Ravio stood on the one to the right. The bridge opened. "Oh, wow. So, you need to hit two switches at the same time?"
"So, wait, how did you manage this on your own last time?" Tanvir asked.
"Oh, I wasn't alone. Right partner?" Ravio grinned at Celebi and he cheered. "Anyway, let' press ahead!" They proceeded through the WarpZone.
They entered a new room and went north. A Hariyama, and two Graveler barred their path. Looking ahead at the snaking path, more Graveler and even a couple of Ursuring were standing guard. "This could get ugly…" Kira said.
"I suppose we'll have no choice but to fight them all." Tanvir said.
Ravio shook his head. "No. When I was last here, Mew, set this up to soften me and Celebi up. I knew we'd be way too tired to challenge it if we fought all of this."
"So, what did you do?"
"I ran."
Tanvir and Kira gave him a strange look. "What?"
"I ran past all of them. One of the Graveler almost hit me with a giant rock, but I managed to get by…barely."
"Barely? Um, Ravio? It'll be even harder to sneak past them with a group like this."
"Don't worry, I got a plan." Ravio drew another sign. "Buizel, come forth!" A Water Type Pokemon appeared. He bent over and whispered to it. Then he stood up and looked at his friends. "Okay, when I give the signal, start running."
"This doesn't sound like a very thought out pla-
"Buizel!" Ravio pointed forward and using Aqua, Jet his Pokemon zoomed ahead. It blew by all the wild Pokemon making them turn around to look at it in surprise. "Okay, now! Go!"
"Wait, wha…?!" Before Tanvir knew what was going on, he and Kira were already running after him as he ran. They got past the first three Pokemon no problem. They didn't have time to react until the humans were out of reach. Things got dicey when the Ursuring spotted them. Kira yelped as she was caught in the arms of one of them and held up, before Gallade kicked it in the back making it drop her. Tanvir narrowly ducked under a rock thrown by a Graveler. When they made it to the end where Buizel waited before it went into the green WarpZone. One by one they followed.
When they got into the next room, the team stopped to catch their breath. "N-next time Ravio, want to tell us your plan it detail?!" Kira glared.
Tanvir sighed. "I see where Celebi gets his mischievous antics from."
"Heh, heh. Sorry about that." Ravio grinned. "Oh, I almost forgot. To get to the red WarpZone, we need to catch fire Ninetails."
"Ninetails?" Kira asked. "Those are some fast Pokemon."
"Right. It took a while for Celibi and I to tag all of them. "Fortunately, I got something else we can do this time." Ravio tapped his staff onto the floor and Buizel, Croagunk, and Aaron disappeared. He then drew three new signs. "Come forth! Raikou! Entei! Suicune!" Three legendary Pokemon appeared. "With these guys, we'll catch up to them in no time!"
"Good idea!" Kira smiled. Then that smile vanished. "Wait, why didn't you summon them to get us through that last room?"
Ravio went quiet for an awkward moment. "…I did not think of that." Kira and Tanvir groaned. "Well, anyway, let's get on with this, shall we?"
They dashed ahead. Ravio on Raikou went to the left, Tanvir on Entei and Kira on Suicune went to the right. Though some wild Agron tried to get in their way, they brushed past them. Ravio caught up to one of the Ninetails and tagged it. Kira did the same for the other. Then they proceeded to ne north, past a red bridge and to the next WarpZone.
The next land they were on was in the center of a loop shaped space. By hitting a set of double switches they crossed over to it. Then a Pelipper charged at them. "Raikou!" Ravio's steed zapped it. While Ravio was fending it off, Entei and Suicune were chasing after two more Ninetails. When the Pelipper fled, Ravio spotted the last Ninetails and gave chase. Once all three were tagged, the team met up. "That should be all of them. Now the red WarpZone will open."
"The Steelhead must be hiding in the depths of the temple." Tanvir said. "Let's hurry. Ravio, where to next?"
"To open the path, we need to activate a switch in a hidden room. Follow me!" Ravio led them to a WarpZone in the upper left corner. The room had a switch in the center and two Pellipper. "Celebi, do your thing!"
"Bi!" Celebi used Psychic on them to hold them in place while Ravio ran up to the switch.
"Okay, now let's move!" They exited the room and went to the room on the far right. A Venusaur stood in the way with the red WarpZone right behind it.
"Let us handle this one Ravio." Tanvir said. "Gallade!"
"Gardevoir! Psychic!" Kira's Pokemon flashed pink and Venusaur roared in anger and pain. Gardevior teleported away just as vines rose up where it stood.
"Psycho Cut!" Tanvir's Pokemon's blades glowed and it smashed into Venusaur's back. "Entei, lend us your power!" Tanvir said. The Pokemon he rode on shot fire at the Venusaur, finishing it off.
"The poor Pokemon…" Kira sighed. "That Steelhead won't get away with this!"
Ravio nodded as they dismounted. "Let's go." One by one they along with their six Pokemon went into the WarpZone. They entered the final room and ascended to the final area. And there stood a Steelhead and next to him was a Pokemon. "There you are."
The man gasped and turned around. "You…! The so-called hero…"
"Sabios is gone. What are you hoping to accomplish?"
"Lord, Sabios, will rise once again. If I can conquer any part of Oblivia before he makes his return here, even if just a small piece, then that will serve as a foothold for his invasion."
"That's wishful thinking." Kira replied. "Sabios has been exiled. If he ever was seen in Oblivia again, we'd immediately chase him out. The Sky Fortress is sealed away, the Goldnen Armor is scattered and the bird Pokemon he used are asleep."
"Even so, lord Sabios will rise again. He's genius is beyond your comprehension."
"Why did you choose this place?" Ravio asked.
"I was hoping to find the Pokemon that gave you your power in this temple, but it seems to have eluded me. That being said, if I eliminate the hero, here, things will go much more smoothly for him."
Ravio grinned remembering his friend who helped him thwart Sabios's return. "Is that a fact? You don't seem to understand something."
"Hmm?"
"Say you do destroy me here. And Sabios comes back to conquer Oblivia. Nothing will change. Do you think I'm the only one capable of stopping him? Please. I was just first in line. There are many others just like me. People who follow their hearts and do the right thing. There are plenty of people like that now. And there will be even more in the distant future."
Kira and Tanvir smiled as they were reminded of Ben and his friends.
"Is that so? Then I'll just have to make sure to destroy every last one of you that rises up! And I will do so, with this!"
The mysterious Pokemon howled. It was red and greenish with humanoid arms. "That must be the Pokemon we were told of." Tanvir said. "I've never seen anything like it."
"Hah! You mean to tell me you've never seen the legendary Deoxys? The Pokemon that lived in the deep regions of space among the stars?"
"Deoxys?" Ravio asked.
"Indeed."
Kira then gasped. "The troops reported of a falling star landing near the volcano…was that…Deoxys?!"
"Now face the might of the legend! Deoxys! Destroy these intruders!"
"Guooooooooon!" The Pokemon backflipped before charging towards.
"Here it comes!" Ravio said.
Raikou charged first, but Deoxys flipped over it and charged into it from above with Zen Headbutt. Entei spewed fire at it, but it evaded. When Suicune shot a whirlpool at it, it blocked it with its bare hands. "It's speed, defense, and power are well balanced." Tanvir said. "It seems what the first party reported was accurate."
The Steelhead cackled to himself.
"Then let's hit it hard! Raikou, Wild Charge!"
"Entei! Flare Blitz!"
Cloaked in lightning and flame two of the legendary Pokemon charged at Deoxys. It tried to push them back but was flung into the air. "Hydro Pump!" Under Kira's command, Suicune capitalized with a torrent of water. "Alright!"
Then Deoxys glowed and healed itself. "Hmph. Did you fools really think it would be that easy?" the Steelhead gloated.
"It knows recover?!" Tanvir asked. "This could be troublesome…"
Kira put a hand on the neckless she wore. On the center was a multi-colored stone. "In that case…it's time to use our secret weapon!"
"Indeed." Tanvir tapped the stone on his necklaces.
Gallade and Gardevoir cried out as stones they held glowed. A shell formed around each of them and they transformed. Gallade's arms were sharper, red and green, and it had a blue cape. Gardevoir had a gorgeous white dress and green and white hair.
"What is that?!" the Steelhead gasped.
"Hey!" Ravio grinned. "You two mastered Mega Evolution? When did that happen?"
"We've been training." Tanvir replied.
Kira winked at Ravio. "We couldn't just leave everything to you."
The Steelhead growled. "This changes nothing! Deoxys! Go!" The Pokemon shot three multiple colored energy blasts from its chest. Gallade bashed them aside one with its arm and Gardevoir's eyes glowed before the other two crashed into each other.
"Now go!" Tanvir ordered. "Night Slash!" Gallade charged and swiped at Deoxys again. Then it jumped back and over a MoonBlast at it, knocking it back.
"Celebi, Energy Ball!" As Deoxys staggered, Ravio's partner hit it again. "Now! Surround it and strike at once!"
Celebi, Gardevoir, Gallade, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune circled around Deoxys and shot an Energy Ball, a MoonBlast, a Psycho Cut, a Thunderbolt, a Flamethrower and a Hydro Pump towards it.
"Deoxys! Defense Form!" the Steelhead yelled. His Pokemon flashed white.
Then it suddenly…changed. It was bulkier, the upper body was rounder and its arms were thin strips. It crossed its arms and a pink shield formed around it that the combined attacks couldn't even scratch. "What just happened?!" Kira gasped. "His Pokemon…"
"It…changed!" Ravio gapped.
"Gallade! Smash that shield! Attack with Close Combat!" Gallade charged and threw a flurry of furious punches but couldn't do anything to the impervious bubble around Deoxys. "Im-impossible! How can it withstand an attack like that?!"
"An impenetrable defense…" Kira muttered. "This is just like what the second team described!" The barrier started shooting energy spheres at them, bombarding all six of the Pokemon.
The Steelhead laughed. "Deoxys has the ability to transform! Each of its other forms excel at different things! Deoxys! Speed form!"
Then it changed again. It was sleeker with the back of its head pointed. It had black legs, a greenish thin arm and a red thin arm. "What now?!" Kira asked.
Raikou attacked one of them and it disappeared and reappeared behind it. It then fired a Hyper Beam at it then swooped behind Entei and shot another at it. Suicune tried to charge at it, when it suddenly split into seven that surrounded the Pokemon confusing it. Then at a speed far too fast for the naked eye, it bombarded it with blows. "A speed impossible to keep up with…" Ravio said. "That was also in one of the reports!"
"And finally…" the Steelhead grinned. "Deoxys, Attack Form!" And then the Pokemon changed again. It had four arms now. The upper two were red and the bottom two were greenish. Its head had a point at the top and two on the left and right. It roared and black beams fired everywhere from its chest. All the Pokemon were hit simultaneously. The legendary beasts were knocked out.
"Everyone!" Ravio yelled.
Tanvir shuddered. "What power…!"
The Steelhead laughed. "Do you see it now?! Nothing you do can stop Deoxys! It is the ultimate Pokemon! And now "Hero of Oblivia". It's time for you to be the first of your meddlesome kind for it to wipe off the face of this earth!" The man pointed at Ravio. "Deoxys! Psycho Boost!" Deoxy's four tentacle like arms generated a pink light and fired a massive blast at Ravio. Celebi ran in front of his partner and formed a barrier, but both were blasted against an invisible wall.
"Ravio! Celebi!" Kira ran towards them when Deoxys swooped in and rammed her with its right arms and her Mega Gardevoir with its left, wrapping its stretching limps around them and threw them into another wall.
"Kira!" Tanvir yelled before Deoxys went to Speed Form and split into two. Both Deoxys rammed a knee into Tanvir and Mega Gallade's torso flinging them into the other end of the room.
"Bwa, ha, ha, ha, ha! To think it would be this easy! Well done Deoxys! My master will be pleased! You will be our ultimate weapon in conquering Oblivia-No! The World! Nothing will stand in our way!" the Steelhead's laughter echoed throughout the room. Then he saw a light. "Eh?" He looked towards it. It was shaped similarly to a star. "What?!"
Ravio was hurting on one knee. But he was right behind the sign with the Weaver of Light in hand and goggles over his eyes. "I won't…let that happen!"
"You can still stand after that?!"
Ravio slowly stood up. "Doggedly and with all my might, exabit endurance like a hard black iron." the sign in front of him glowed brighter. "Come forth! Latios! Latias!" The two Eon Pokemon emerged.
"Do you really think those two stand a chance against Deoxys?"
"Maybe they don't on their own…" Ravio said. "But together, we can do anything. A friend told me…that I have the team to become like him."
"What are you-
Ravio pulled off something tied around his neck. "That friend told me Oblivia will have a beautiful future with humans and Pokemon living side by side. I must ensure…that peaceful future…Ben's future…safely comes to pass…I won't let you ruin it!" Ravio held up the Key Stone and Latios and Latias started to glow. The entire room started to shake s light sprayed in all directions. They howled as they Mega Evolved.
Tanvir looked up and gasped. "Ravio!" Kira also looked up from the floor at the magnificent light.
Now back on his feet with Celebi at his side, Ravio stepped towards Deoxys with Mega Latios and Mega Latias at his left and right.
The Steelhead growled. "Deoxys! Put them in their place!" The Speed Form Deoxys charged towards Ravio. Mega Latios and Latias also charged to intercept. All three Pokemon seemingly disappeared as clashing sounds echoed through the temple, and shockwaves from impact were seen everywhere.
When the combatants were seen again, the Guardian Sign Pokemon rammed into Deoxys, sending it into the air and then they charged at it again. "Gah! Deoxys! Defense Form!" the Steelhead ordered. Deoxys changed forms and set up it's barrier right before it was hit. Latios and Latias bounced off it, and it fired orbs at them. But Latios and Latias just stood there. The attacks did nothing to either of them. "Wh-what?! Deoxys, Attack Form!" Deoxys transformed again and shot more black beams at them, but they swirled around the attacks and rammed their claws into Deoxys from above, slamming it into the ground. "How can this be?!"
Ravio grinned. "Deoxys may excel at power, speed and defense when in the right form, but it can only use one form at a time. Latios and Latias on the other hand can excel at all the above in their one Mega Form. Even if Deoxys surpasses them in one field it still falls behind in the others."
"Grrrr! Deoxys! Return to Normal Form!" The legendary Pokemon reverted to it's original form. "Psycho Boost!" It fired another pink blast at Mega Latios and Mega Latias. This time Celebi came up and caught it. "What?! Impossible!"
"Latios! Latias! Luster Purge! Mist Ball!" Ravios Pokemon fired at Deoxys. The Pokemon tried to push the projectiles back with a Hyper Beam. They clashed in midair for a bit until Celebi threw Deoxys' Psycho Boost back at it. Combining with the Luster Purge and the Mist Ball they pushed through the Hyper Beam and blasted Deoxys. The Pokemon collapsed onto the ground.
"No…!" the Steelhead growled. "Deoxys! Reco- The Steelhead gasped when Gallade brought one of its arm blades near his throat. Gardevoir held up a pink energy blast aimed at his head.
"You're done giving orders." Tanvir said. "Just be quiet."
Ravio walked over to the tired Deoxys and gently put the weaver of light against its head. The Pokemon slowly started to calm down. "No! The Steelhead yelled what have you done?!"
"I removed your control on Deoxys. It's over." The Pokemon slowly straightened up. It slowly leaned back. "Guooooooooon!" It fired a beam through it's chest, piercing a hole through the roof of the temple and flew out of it. "Deoxys?!"
"Where is it going?" Tanvir asked as they stared at the hole it left in.
"I…I don't know…Want me to give chase on Latios?"
Kira shook her head. "No. Let's leave it alone. It just got to this planet and must be confused. We should give it some space."
"I guess so…" Ravio then heard a noise and a small pink Pokemon flew over. "There you are Mew! I guess you managed to stay hidden."
"Mew!" The Pokemon spun around him playfully.
"Well in that case…" Ravio pulled his goggles from his eyes and performed a pose with Celebi. "Mission Clear!"
The Oracle looked at him oddly. "…What?"
Tanvir glared at him. "As for you, you're coming with us. We have some questions for you…afterwards you need to atone for what you've done to Deoxys."
Later in the Light Temple, Ravio, Kira and Tanvir gave their report to Ellios. "…and then it just flew out of the temple." Ravio concluded. "We have no idea where it is now, or what it will do next."
"I see." Ellios nodded. "I'm surprised it didn't become your ally, like the other legendary Pokemon you encountered."
"I felt something…when I tried to use the Weaver of Light on it. It felt…scared and confused. Kira thinks it's because it just got here, but I get the feeling it isn't ready to trust humans."
"That would make sense." Ellios sighed. "Especially considering what the first human it met did to it…speaking of which, what about the Oracle?"
"Me removed his armor and will have him put on trial for his crimes. Just like Sabios and the rest of his men." Tanvir replied. "I can only hope this is the last of the trouble Sabios will give Oblivia."
Ravio looked solemnly at the floor. Ellios noticed his son looked troubled. "Hmm? Is something wrong Ravio?"
"Huh? Uh, nothing! Nothing's wrong!" Ravio smiled.
"Ravio…don't worry about Deoxys." Kira smiled. "Maybe it doesn't trust humans yet, but someday I'm sure it'll meet someone who it will open its heart to. Just like how you won the hearts of many Pokemon. Even Arceus!"
Tanvir nodded. "She's right. Like I said earlier you are not the only one who believes in helping Pokemon."
"We did what we could." Kira added. "Let's just leave it at that. By the way, are you ever going to tell us where you've been?"
"Eh, maybe some other time." Ravio casually said resting the back of his head against his hands.
Ellios smiled. "Tanvir, Kira, Ravio, well done. Thank you for your help. Kira, Tanvir, you're dismissed. Ravio, if I may have a word with you…"
Tanvir and Kira bowed before they left with their Pokemon. Once they were gone Ravio turned back to his father. "What's up dad?"
"You used Celebi's power to go to Ben's time, didn't you?"
Ravio and Celebi's eyes expanded. "What…? How did you-?!"
Ellios looked down. "What Sabios said before we exiled him troubles me…It sounded like he was planning to go after Ben and his friends for revenge rather than us. You were bothered by that thought as well, weren't you?"
Ravio sighed and thought for a moment. "Father…you feel the most responsible for everything Sabios did because you trusted him. So, I'm going to tell you and only you this…what I saw…and what I did…"
And so, Ravio explained everything to his father. The vision he had of Eternalmon backing Ben and his friends into a corner, how he went to the future to try to help them behind the scenes, how Sabios survived and his One World Plan, and how Ravio, Celebi, Arceus, and Mewtwo planned their counterattack that ultimately proved to be Sabios' undoing, and how he destroyed the Golden Armor and the Sky Fortress for good. "…and when Celebi and I got back, Kira and Tanvir told me about the rebelling Oracle with Deoxys, and well…you know the rest."
Ellios nodded. "I see."
"I know what I did was wrong, even if it was for Ben and the others…but I just…I just couldn't let the world we protected fall into darkness. I wanted Ben and the others to have a happy future. Even if I can never be a part of it."
"Ravio…"
The hero smiled. "Don't worry. I have no regrets. Sabios has been delt with once and for all. Just like we promised Ben."
Ellios smiled. "Yes. Yes, you're right. You did good Ravio. I'm proud of you. Now our friends can live in peace. As can we."
Ravio looked into the sunset. "Dad…I wanted to tell you something…tomorrow I'm going on a journey."
"What? Where to?"
"The whole world. The events I saw in the future taught me something. Each world is full of endless possibilities. If you reach out and try, you can make something brilliant. So, I want to create many great things around the world that will build the future for Ben and the others. That'll be my final gift to them."
"Ravio…I understand. But promise me you'll remember something."
"Yeah?"
Ellios smiled. "Oblivia is your home and you are my son. You are always welcome to return here whenever you please."
Ravio hugged his father. "Thanks dad." Celebi smiled at the golden moment between father and son.
On the night of Sabios' final defeat and Ravio returned to his time, Solana and Lunick were looking Ami and Arata embracing on the grass from the roof of Rand's house. Solana giggled. "I knew it would work out."
Lunick laughed as he put an arm around her shoulder. "They do make a cute couple, don't they?" He then looked up at the stars. "Quite a sight, huh?"
Solana smiled as she stared upward as she put a hand on Lunick's chest. "Yeah…the world is kinda small compared to everything up there, huh?"
"Hey…remember Deoxys? What do you think it's doing right now?"
"I'm not sure. Maybe it finally found a Trainer or something. Speaking of it, I was wondering…why was Deoxys so agitated when our leader found it anyway? He blamed his thoughts during the capture attempt for making it more uneasy, but that doesn't explain why it started acting up."
Lunick pondered a moment. "Hmm…maybe something happened to it that made it doubt humans? But it doesn't matter now. We captured Deoxys and it's safe now. Shouldn't that be enough?"
"You're right." Solana smiled. "I'm sure it's happy now…wherever it is."
And there's the Deoxys Quest. I decided to give Ravio some time in the sun for this one as it's a mission from the past.
