In Cocona Village, Ben, Summer, Keith, Erika, and Ryuji were looking around. "So, this is Cocona Village?" Erika asked.
"Yup. It's the first Village I've been to in the region." Ben replied.
"So, this is where Takumi and Ami landed after the ARC Incident then?" Ryuji asked. "According to your report at Ranger Union, you met them first out of everyone form our world."
"No…I met them at Dolce Island." Ben replied.
"Oh? Can we go there next?" Wormmon asked. "It sounds nice!"
Ben sighed. "I wish we could, Wormmon. I really wish we could show you…"
"Did something happen?" Erika asked.
"Wait…Dolce Island?" Ryuji asked. "Isn't that Pichu's home? The island that was destroyed by the Sky Fortress?"
Pichu tilted his head down sadly. "Pi…chu…"
"Ryuji!" Erika glared at her brother.
"Sorry…forget I said anything."
Summer turned to Ben and his partner. "Hey, cheer up you two. At least all the Pokemon made it out safely."
"Summer's right, things could have been a lot worse if it weren't for you guys." Keith nodded.
Erika looked at the platform in the center of the village. "Is that a stage?"
"Yup. It's based off of the Rainbow Dais."
"That's what you used to summon Ho-oh, right?" Keith asked.
Ben nodded. "During the Rainbow Festival, Pichu and his friends performed here. Right partner?"
"Pi!" Pichu nodded and took out his ukulele. He gave it a twang.
Erika smiled. "That sounds amazing! I wish I could have seen that…"
Nick walked over. "Oh, there you are!"
"Nick? Did you need something?" Ben asked.
"Actually, my boss asked to look for you. He said he needed your help with something."
"Tell him we're on our way." Summer replied.
"Thanks. See you at the house." Nick then walked away.
"What do you think that's about?" Keith asked.
Ben shrugged. "I don't know. But we should go see what Booker wants."
Booker sighed to himself as he looked at the Pichu sitting in one of his unfinished boats. Nick came in first, and then Ben followed. "Oh, Ben!"
"Nick said you were looking for me." Ben said as the rest of his group entered. "We were just showing Erika around Oblivia."
"You must be getting' out of shape what with all the peace in Oblivia."
"Huh?"
Booker then glanced at Ben's Partner Pokemon. "Pichu, you want to see your friends, don't you?"
"Pichu?" The Pokemon started at Booker and tilted his head.
Booker then looked back at the Pichu living with him. "Hey! Lonely Pichu! Your ukulele friend is here to play!"
The Pokemon hoped out of the boat and over to its old friend. "Pichu!"
"Pichu! Pichu!" Ben's Pichu smiled.
"Hahaha, look at them, so happy. Those seven Pichu lost Dolce Island—their home."
"I heard." Keith sighed. "It's so tragic…"
Booker nodded. "That's why I brought 'em here. They may look the same, but each has its own personality. They were trying to make each other feel better in the beginning."
"Is this one the only one here?" Summer asked. "Where did the others go?"
"They've set out to find their own favorite place to settle all over Oblivia, all of them except this one lonely Pichu. It likes this noisy house, it seems."
Booker's Pichu looked at the carpet sadly. "Pichu…"
"Pichuu!" Ukulele Pichu tried to cheer him up.
"It seems to feel lonely." Booker sighed. So, I thought that they should have a reunion for Dolce Island's Pichu."
"That's a great idea!" Ben smiled. "It's been over three months since you got to be with all your friends, hasn't it partner?"
"Ukulele Pichu, don't you want to see your old friends?"
"Picchuu!" Ukulele Pichu smiled.
"All right!"
"That's why you were looking for us, right?" Summer asked. "Don't worry Booker, we're on it!"
"How many Pichu are there?" Ryuji asked.
"Eight. Including these two." Nick replied.
"So, there are six others." Erika replied. "I don't suppose you know the exact details on where the others are, do you?"
"I'm afraid not." Booker shook his head. "I do know they haven't left Oblivia. Can you bring over the six Pichu that are now all over Oblivia? If you can find them all, we'll get all eight Pichu together again."
"I just thought about it…" Nick said. "When eight Pichu get together, they might emit flashing light to start combining themselves into one…Ta-da! Huge Pichu!" Everyone stared at him. "Nah, that's impossible. Speaking of that! There is a Pichu that visits the signboard just outside sometimes."
"That's a start. Thanks Nick." Ben replied before he, Keith, and Summer posed together. "Quest On!"
They all exited the house and spotted the blond boy who was previously making quizzes with CatchMamemon talking to the Digimon. "This is gonna be great!" the boy grinned.
"That Nokia girl said she'd invite some Digimon to help!" CathMamemon smiled. "Oooooh! We're almost ready! I'm so psyched!"
"Excuse me." Ben approached. "Have you two seen a Pichu around here?"
"Are you looking for Pichu?" the boy asked. "I just sneezed, then I saw one sticking it head out from behind the signboard there."
CatchMamemon nodded. "Yup. It spotted us and hid again. It must be a shy Pichu."
"I see. Thanks."
The team went over to the wooden sign nearby. "This is it." Summer said before looking around. "But I don't see any Pichu."
Ben turned to his partner. "Try calling out to it."
"Pichu!" Pichu took out his ukulele and played a tune. Shortly after another Pichu jumped out of the bushes.
"Alright!" Ben caught it quickly. "That's one! Five to go!"
"The question is, where do we go from here?" Keith asked. "The others can be anywhere.
Erika put a finger on her chin. "Hmmm…"
"I know that look Erika." Ryuji smiled. "You already have an idea."
"Naturally. Let's take these two to the Wireless Tower."
"Okay. On the way, I'll call the others to meet us there."
"Good idea." Ben nodded. "If we're going to search the entire region, it's best we have the whole gang."
The team marched towards the Wireless Tower. They were walking across the bridge when they heard something. Ben stopped and looked at his Partner. "Hmm? Something up Pichu?"
Pichu stopped and turned to him. "…Pi?"
"Huh? That wasn't you just now?"
Monodramon turned around. "Hey! Look!" He pointed over towards the other side of the bridge. Another Pichu ran up to the cliff and looked at the sea. "Pichuu!"
"Well, what do ya know!" Keith grinned. "Capture on!" He fired his Styler and caught it. "Alright! That makes four, including the one at Booker's place!" Just like that we're halfway there!"
Takumi, Ami, Kellyn, and Kate caught up to them. "Hey guys!" Takumi waved. "Wow! You found two of them already!"
"It was sheer luck." Ben replied. "The others will be more of a challenge."
"Are the others with you?" Ryuji asked.
"Solana, Lunick, Keisuke, Yu, Chitose, Arata, Nokia, Yuuko, Yuugo, and Fei said they're on their way." Kate replied. "I'm sure they'll meet us at the tower like you asked."
"Come to think of it, you haven't told us why we're going there." Summer said, looking at Erika.
"I have an idea. I'll tell you when we get to the top."
Keisuke was the last person to show up at the top of the Wireless Tower. "You're late." Ryuji said.
"Sorry. Any luck finding Pichu's pals?"
"We found two on the way here." Summer replied. "Add Ben's Partner and the one at Booker's we have four out of eight."
Erika was at her Memetan in front of the three Pichu. "Alright…try it…now."
"Pichu!" The three Pichu sparkled with electricity. Erika started typing into her keypad.
"What's she doing?" Keisuke asked.
"She's trying to analyze the frequency of the Pichu's energy." Arata replied. "From there we can use the Wireless Tower to scan for similar frequencies."
"I get it." Tentomon nodded. "Where we find a matching frequency, we'll find a Pichu!"
Erika finished her work and looked at the monitor. Blinking red lights appeared. "Got it!"
"You found them?" Fei asked.
"Where are they?" Yuugo asked.
"One of them is on Renbow Island. It's somewhere in either Rasp Cavern or Teakwood Forrest. Another one is somewhere near Tilt Village…near a lower part of the island..."
"Dangerous Cliff?" Ami asked. "Oh boy…I hope the little guy's okay…"
"What about the last two?" Yuuko asked.
Erika looked at her screen. "That's the bizarre part…it looks like they're moving around all over Sophian Island."
"What? Did they go crazy or something?" Nokia asked.
"I don't know."
"Well now that we know where they are, it's time for a Pichu roundup!" Summer grinned. "I'll head over to Teakwood Forrest!"
Takumi nodded. "Okay. Ami, Nokia, Arata and I will go with you."
"I'll take Hudie over to Tilt Village." Keith said.
"That leaves the rest of us with Sophian Island." Kellyn said.
"Ben and I will stay here with the Pichu we have so far." Erika said.
"Then once we find the Pichu, let's meet back here." Ami said. "Then we can all go back to Booker's place together."
"Sounds like a plan." Chitose said. "Now let's get to work!"
Takumi, Summer, Ami, Nokia and Arata were heading towards Teakwood Forrest when a man spotted them. "Oh, if it ain't the Heroes of Oblivia. Heading to Teakwood Forrest?"
"Yup. We're looking for Pichu." Nokia replied.
"You're looking for Pichu? What about the one with the Ukulele? Isn't he always with the other Ranger?"
"No, no, not that one." Summer said. "We're looking for that Pichu's friends."
"Oh, I remember. I saw one playing in a tree in Teakwood Forest. I think it looked a little mischievous, but maybe that's just me."
"Do you remember specifically where it was?" Takumi asked.
"Near the exit of Rasp Cavern."
"I see. Thank you." Ami replied.
Takumi and Ami knew the location well and led the team there. A tall tree near the exit of Rasp Cavern. "This is it."
"Now how do we get it out?" Nokia asked.
Summer looked at a Friend Pokemon she caught on the way. "Kricketot, can you clear that target?"
"Krick!" The Pokemon rammed it's skull into the tree shaking it. Then it left.
Everyone waited for something to come out. "Huh…Maybe the guy was wrong." Arata said.
"Or this is just the wrong tree?" Summer added. "Oh, well. Let's looked somewhere el- Suddenly a Pichu jumped out of the tree and onto her back. "EEEEEEEK!" It gave her a small jolt by zapping her. Summer was stunned as she stuttered thorough the shock before it jumped off her and laughed. Summer turned around. "Where did-Oh you little…!"
Takumi, Ami, Arata and Nokia laughed as she caught it with her Styler. "He was right. The little guy's mischievous." Ami giggled.
At Tilt Village, the girl whose brother Ami, Summer and Arata helped in her Quest spotted Keith as he led Keisuke, Ryuji, Chitose, and Yu towards the entrance to Dangerous Cliff. "Are you looking for something, Ranger?"
"Yeah. Have you seen a Pichu?"
"What? A Pichu?"
"That's right. We're looking for the Pichu of Dolce Island." Monodramon said.
"You've come to the right person. I saw a Pichu running through this cave towards the cliff. It looked like a very determined Pichu."
"Determined?" Yu asked.
"Looks like Ami called it." Chitose murmured. "We better find the little guy before he does something reckless."
"Right. Let's go boys!" Keith hurried into the cave with the team following. When they passed through it and were back in the open, they were at Dangerous Cliff. But they didn't get far until their path was blocked by boulders. "Oh, shoot!" Keith groaned. "That's right! Rockslides occur frequently here and cause blockages in the path! Ben and Summer needed Entei to get past!"
"Well, we may not have Entei…" Red aura erupted from Ryuji. "But I got something that can fill the part."
DIGIVOLUTION
"Monodramon Warp Digivolve to…Cyberdramon!" Ryuji's Digimon Digivolved to Ultimate. "Desolation Claw!" He destroyed the row of boulders with a blue blast. "I'll scout ahead and clear any other obstacles."
"Thanks. You do that."
Cyberdramon flew ahead and the others took their time down the long path, following him. When they caught up to Cyberdramon it stopped in front of a huge gap in the road with many also ahead. "It looks like we'll need to fly the rest of the way. Keisuke, we'll need Tentomon to Digivolve too."
"Right." Blue Aura glowed around Keisuke as he slid on his visor.
DIGIVOLUTION
"Tentomon Warp Digivolve to…MegaKabuterimon!"
"Alright gang. Climb on!" Keisuke, Yu, and Chitose climbed onto his large Digimon and Cyberdramon grabbed Ryuji and Keith. They flew across the damaged road and towards the sea. Once they saw the end of the trail they landed.
"It doesn't look like the road goes any further from here." Ryuji looked around. "But I didn't see a Pichu, did you?"
"No." Keisuke replied. "Where could it have run off to? That girl said it was here. Hmmm…"
"Pichuu! Pichu! Pichu! Pichu!"
Everyone looked ahead. "Did you hear that?" Keith asked. "It sounded like it came from…"
"Uh, oh…" Keisuke murmured. The team ran to the edge of the cliff face. A Pichu was holding on for dear life. "Hold on little guy!"
The Pichu lost it's grip and fell towards the ocean, but Patamon swopped in and caught it. "I got him!" He flew back up with it.
"Nice catch pal!" Chitose smiled.
Patamon dropped the Pichu onto the ground, and Keith caught it with his Styler. "Jeez, this guy's nuts to come all the way out here!"
"No, he's just determined. Just like that girl said." Cyberdramon replied.
Yuuko, Yuugo, Fei, Kellyn, Kate, Solana, and Lunick landed in Aqua Resort either from Digivolved Digimon or a Staraptor. "Okay, we're here." Solana said. "Now what?"
"Let's ask around at the plaza." Yuuko replied.
As they made their way there, over by the fountain they saw two elders who were watching two Pichu on two Staravia. "Is…that what I think it is?" Yuugo asked. They all hurried over.
They birds took off with the Pichu on them and the elders watched they fly around. Then they noticed the Rangers and their friends approach. "Ohh! Did you see that, Rangers? Two Pichu on Staravia, soaring through the big sky! They must both be adventurous!"
"Yeah, that or just crazy!" Kate shouted.
"Now…I guess you can call it a dream come true, but I'm worried about this strong wind." The man said.
The woman nodded. "One flew toward Silver Falls. The other one went toward Faldera Island, I think. I'd say they were riding the wind to there, rather than flying, though."
"Yeah, I noticed!" Kate turned to her fellow Ranger. "Bro! Solana! Lunick! We need to get more Staraptor and go after them!"
"There's no time for that!" Yuuko replied. "Just get on ShineGreymon and TigerVespamon!" Yuuko, Yuugo, Kellyn and Kate got on her Digimon. Solana, and Lunick joined Fei on hers and they ascended.
"I'm heading towards Flandera." ShineGreymon said. "You guys head for Silver Falls."
TigerVespamon nodded. "Right!" They then flew off.
Pichu smiled as it enjoyed the air of the sky while ridding on Staravia. ShineGreymon was starting to catch up. "Staravia has been detected." Hagurumon said. "Pichu is also confirmed." Staravia was startled by its pursuers and made a hard right. The Pichu fell right off it's back. "The falling object is Pichu."
"Thank you Hagurumon!" ShineGreymon groaned. "This isn't good, everyone, hold on tight!" He divebombed towards the falling Pichu. But just as he got close a hord of Pidgey flew in front of him, making him stop. "Argh!" By the time they passed him, the Pichu was out of sight.
"Oh, no!" Kate cried. "That poor Pichu!"
"It must have landed on the island!" Kellyn said. "ShineGreymon, take us there immediately!"
"Right!" ShineGreymon landed on the island, and everyone jumped off.
"I don't see it anywhere." Yuugo murmured. "You don't think…"
"Oh, no…" Kellyn shuddered.
Kate then heard something. She looked behind her and noticed something was in the water nearby. "Wait! Look!" Everyone turned in her direction and they saw Pichu jump out of the water and shake itself dry. "Pichu?"
"It's unharmed, but it looks quite frightened." Hagurumon stated.
"Oh, thank goodness." Yuuko sighed in relief. Kellyn captured it alongside Kate.
"Quite the adventure he had." Yuugo chuckled. "Alright, let's get out of here."
TigerVespamon was catching up to the other Staravia and Pichu. "There they are!" Solana gasped. "Now how are we going to get Pichu off of it?"
"TigerVespamon might scare that Staravia when we get close." Lunick said. "Hmmm…There's got to be something we can do. After all we're Pokemon-
"RANGERS!" Suddenly plasma shots pelted TigerVespamon from the left. She gasped as she staggered. Solana almost fell off when Lunick grabbed her hand. They then saw four Z.Z. Flyers rush at them. One of the Pinchers growled. "Wait, they aren't the Rangers from back then…but you! The girl with the weird hair! You remember us, right?! We're the ones from Canal Ruins! When Entei and Suicune sent us flying we were sore for like a month because of that impact! In fact my backside still hurts! And when we were delivering the Emblem to Red Eyes he yelled at us for taking too long because of you!"
Fei growled as she looked around. They lost Staravia and Pichu.
The four Z.Z. Flyers surrounded TigerVespamon. "Now spill it! Where are those other brats that were with you!? We're gonna make sure you all regret you messed with us and ruined the Pokemon Pincers!"
"If you don't talk, we'll blast you out of the sky! Actually, we're going to do it anyway!"
"Yeah! Even if the gang is done for, we will reclaim our honor!"
Fei growled as TigerVespamon swung her Royal Meister. "NOBODY CARES!" the Tamer and Digimon shouted simultaneously as the blade unleashed a Thunder Fall that swatted all four of them.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" They all went flying and crashed into the ocean.
Fei let out a huff. "Great. Just great! Thanks to those pinheads, we lost them!"
"Maybe they landed in Silver Falls?" Lunick suggested. "Let's go check."
They landed near the waterfall and looked around. Fei climbed down with the Rangers. "I don't see em…did the Pichu fall into the water?"
Lunick took out his Aqua Lung. "Wait here, I'll go check." Right when he was about to put it on, he heard something. "Wait…what's that noise? Do you hear that?"
"Yeah, and it's getting closer." Fei added.
Everyone looked up. Pichu screamed as it fell into the water. It came out, growling angerly. "Wow. He looks nettled." Fei muttered.
"Well, at least he's safe." Solana replied. "Luncik, let's catch it! Then we'll meet up with the others at the Wireless Tower and we can return them to Booker."
"Right! Capture on!"
A few minutes later, the gang met up with all the Pichu at the Wireless tower where Ben and Erika were waiting. Then they all headed straight for Booker's house. Nokia marched as she led the group to Booker's place singing. "I've got a lovely bunch of Pichu! Here they are all marching in a row! Singing Pichu! Dancing Pichu! All as big as your head! Catch every mouse! Bring em back to my house! That's what old Booker said~!"
As Takumi laughed Arata rolled his eyes. "I think I can hear Danny Kaye rolling in his grave back in our world."
"Who?" the Rangers in the group asked simultaneously.
Arata sighed. "Nevermind."
They all entered Booker's house. Ben came in first. "Oh, Booker! We brought company!" Starting with Ukulele Pichu, the Pichu the Rangers rounded up all came pouring into the room.
"Ohhhh!" Booker gasped. "All the Pichu are here! It's yellow all over! Good job, Ben!"
"If you want to thank anyone, thank Erika." Keisuke smiled. "She was the one who figured out how to track them all down."
"I-it was nothing really…" Erika muttered.
"Thank you." Booker smiled at the girl before turning his attention to the Pichu. "How have you been? …I see." He turned to another. "How are you? How come you look so messy?" Then another. "Are you eatin' enough? …You are? Okay."
"You don't think…he can actually talk to them, do you?" Yu asked.
"Who knows?" Ben smiled. "Some people just have special connections to Pokemon. Right Pichu?"
"Pichuu!"
"Wow, Pichu everywhere!" Nick smiled. "I've never seen anything like this, guys!"
The Pichu that was staying at Booker's place jumped. "Pichu!"
The one next to him nodded. "Picchuu!"
"Picchu!" Ukelele Pichu looked around him. His fellow Pichu were all staring at him. "Pichu! Pichu! Pichuchu!"
One of them clapped. "Picchuu!"
Starting with Ukulele Pichu, all the Pichu ran out the door. "Huh? Where are you all going?" Nick asked.
"Come on. Let's follow them." Ben led everyone outside.
When they reached Cocona Village, Ukulele Pichu was on the stage playing his instrument. The other Pichu were dancing around him. "Pichuchu! Pichuchu! Pichu!"
The team surrounded the stage. "Awww! It's a Pichu show!" Kate giggled.
"Wow, he's good with that ukulele!" Chitose laughed.
A little boy and girl were first to approach. "So many Pichu! Wow!"
"So cute!"
A man and a lady approached. "They must be the Pichu from Dolce Island, the ones Booker saved! They sure don't look like they lost their home island."
"Just watching them makes me feel so excited! Pichu! Pichu! Pichu! Pichu! Pi!"
"Yeah! Rock on Pichu!" Terriermon cheered as he and the other Pokemon and Digimon jumped up and down.
Erika was smiling at the show. Ben grinned at her. "Looks like you got what you wished for. A reward for your help in this reunion."
"Huh?"
"This is what it was like that day…on the Rainbow Festival."
Everyone smiled as they watched the show. Just Kyoko, appeared with a girl behind her. "That brings back memories. Ah, there you are my Watsons."
"Oh, Kyoko! Is this a client?" Takumi asked.
"Yes. She wanted to bring something to our attention. Hopefully, you or the Rangers can deal with this."
The young lady walked up to Ben. "Excuse me, Rangers?"
They looked at her. "Hey. Is something wrong?" Summer asked.
"I've been concerned about one thing. There is a Pokemon that flies around the spot where Dolce Island used to be, and it's crying. It seems like it will be looking for it forever…"
"Oh…" Bun murmured.
"Can you let the Pokemon know that the island is gone?"
"Ben and I can handle this one guys." Summer asked. "Flying is an easy matter for us."
Ben nodded. "Yeah. Especially with Latios and Latias on our side."
Kyoko nodded. "Alright. But I want Takumi and Ami to accompany you."
"Roger!" Takumi and Ami replied.
Ben and Summer posed. "Quest on!"
"Let me explain again." The lady said. "That Pokemon is flying over the spot where Dolce Island used to be. It must be looking for the island to go back to…"
"Okay." Ben and Summer jumped into the air as Takumi and Ami put on their goggles.
DIGIVOLUTION
"Go, Guardian Sign! Latios, come forth!"
"Go, Guardian Sign! Latias, come forth!"
"Terriermon Double Warp Digivolve to…BlackMetalGarurumon!"
"Palmon Double Warp Digivolve to…Magnadramon!"
Latios and Latias appeared under Ben and Summer for them to land on while Takumi and Ami climbed onto their Digimon. "We'll be back soon." Ben said.
"Okay. Take care." Lunick replied. They all waved to the four as they took off.
Latios, Latias, BlackMetalGreymon and Magnadramon hovered high in the air. Ben's Styler spoke up. "Dolce Island used to be nearby."
Everyone looked down sadly. "I know that all the Pokemon were safely evacuated. And I'm grateful…but seeing it gone…it hurts just thinking about it…" Summer mumbled.
"I have many important memories of that place." Takumi murmured. "It's sad to think that such an important mark in my memories has vanished forever just like that…"
"Yes…this is where I first met both of you. And Pichu and Booker." Ben let out a sigh. "And now it's gone…never to return…"
"A Pokemon is approaching." The Styler warned.
"Huh?"
Something burst out of the clouds and flew around in circles. "Togekiiiiss!" It had a white body and graceful wings. It had tears in its eyes.
"Is that it?" Summer asked. "The Pokemon she was talking about?"
Ami scanned it. "Togekiss. Fairy/Flying Type. It visits peaceful regions and offers gifts of kindness and sweet blessings to those who respect one another's rights and avoids needless strife…"
"It looks so sad…" Takumi said, looking at the crying Pokemon. "It must have loved Dolce Island…"
Ben stood up on Latios. "Togekiss!" The Pokemon looked at him. "The Island you're looking for…it was destroyed three months ago by the Societea…it no longer exists…I'm sorry…"
The Pokemon's lip quivered as fresh tears welled up. The sight hurt everyone. "Togekiss, I know it's hard, but wandering around here won't change what happened." Summer said. "You need to accept that."
"Togeeeeeeeee!" The Pokemon shot blades of wind at them.
"Whoa!" Ben moved Latios and the others evade before they saw the Pokemon fly away. "Togekiss, wait!" Ben shouted as they flew after it.
"Togekiss listen!" Takumi yelled. "You can't just deny the past! You'll be trapped in it forever!"
"It's not too late!" Ami shouted. "You can still move on! But you can't let your sorrow take control of your life!"
Togekiss squeezed its eyes shut. It turned around, spread its wings and purple orbs flew everywhere. The others had to slow down to evade. But just as Togekiss turned around and prepared to escape in rammed into crimson armor. It looked up and saw Kentaurosmon leering over it. "Going somewhere?" The Pokemon shrieked and flew in another direction. But Kentaurosmon zoomed in front of it, bringing it to a halt again. "You're fast, I'll give you that. But sill nowhere near my level of speed. Don't bother trying to escape."
"Kentaurosmon!" BlackMetalGarurumon was the first to catch up. "When did-
"Alphamon contacted me. Thought you could use my speed to help you in your little hunt."
"This isn't a hunt!" Ben said. "That Togekiss is sad over the loss of Dolce Island. It can't accept what happened."
Kentarausmon looked back at the Pokemon. "Is that what's going on here?" The Pokemon looked down sadly. "Hmph. Grow up!"
Everyone looked at the knight in shock. "What?! Kentaurosmon! How can you-
The knight cut Summer off. "You think you're the only one who lost something? That Island was not just your home. It was something to many people. So why should you be the only one who gets to sulk? And I'll have you know, there was once a point where my entire world was taken from me. Hordes, upon hordes of monsters devoured our home and our allies. Every day I would wake up with more land taken and less friends by my side."
Takumi looked at him sadly. "Kentaurosmon…"
"What I felt during those dark days is something I'll never forget…I carry it with me to this day…But I won't let it hold me down. Four of my fellow knights let that past get to them. And do you know what happened? One by one they perished while walking down a dark path. Their final thoughts being of that miserable past with what they lost, not thinking for a moment of the damage and sorrow they themselves caused. What do you think you'll gain if you let that happen to you? Nothing! You'll die a coward. Too afraid to move on with their own life."
"Tog…" The Togekiss looked at him sadly.
"I have only been in this world for a brief time…but even I can tell you this. Even with the loss of one island, this region is much bigger than Dolce Island. And this world even larger. You can find a new home. Make a new start. New friends. New memories. Of course, that's not to say you should forget what you lost. But are you honoring those memories by wandering like this? It's time you moved forward. Change your fate, like I did!"
The Togekiss was moved by the knights words. It didn't even notice Ben and Summer launch their Capture Stylers. As they looped around it, it started to feel warm… "I think Kentaurosmon got through to it!" Takumi smiled.
"It's weird hearing a motivational speech from him of all people though."
"BlackMetalGarurumon, don't kill the mood!"
Summer gently patted its head. "Togekiiiiss!" The Pokemon cooed.
"Hey, Togekiss." Summer leaned in and whispered to the Pokemon. It's eyes widened. It then flew straight towards Renbow Island.
"Where is it going?" Kentaurosmon asked.
Summer smiled. "Cocona Village."
Everyone was watching or dancing to the music Ukulele Pichu played. "Man, he's really going all out today." Fei grinned.
"That's youthful energy for you." Kyoko smiled.
"Togeeeeeee!" Togekiss flew towards the stage. It stopped in front of the Pichu. "Togekiiiis!"
The Pichu stopped and looked at it. "P-Pi?! Pichuchu!"
"Whoa, where did that come from?!" Armadillomon asked.
Ben, Summer, Takumi and Ami dropped down. The Partner Digimon returned to Rookie form and Kentaurosmon landed nearby. Alphamon came out of Kyoko's Digivice. "That was fast."
"Naturally. No being in any world can best me in a contest of speed." Kentaurosmon replied.
Nokia turned around. "Oh, hey guys, were you out somewhere?"
"You didn't even notice that we left?!" Ami asked.
"I was fixated on the Pichu's performance! Anyway, who's the cute flying Digimon over there? It looks like the Pichu know it…"
Ben walked over to the lady that asked for assistance and pointed at Togekiss. "That's the one, right?"
"Yes. That's the Pokemon I saw."
"It was flying around sadly. It didn't want to accept what happened to Dolce Island." Terriermon said.
The young lady looked at the Pokemon. "Rangers, I'm starting to think that the Togekiss understands that the island is gone."
"I think it always knew." Takumi replied. "But it struggled to accept that fact."
"But it's okay." Summer smiled. "The Island wasn't the only thing it was looking for…"
The Togekiss looked at the Pichu on stage. "Togekiss…"
Ukulele Pichu gasped. "Pichu! Pichu!" He jumped off the stage and ran towards the beach.
"What's going on with that Pichu…?" the lady asked. Pichu shortly returned with more company. A Ursuring, and two Marill and many other Pokemon. "Oh, my."
"I know these Pokemon…" Booker said. "I know every one of them!"
The flying Pokemon gasped. "Togekiss!"
Summer smiled. "I told Togekiss that thanks to Booker building boats everywhere on Dolce Island, even those Pokemon that can't swim were saved."
"So, they're the Pokemon that were saved?" Keisuke asked. "The ones from Dolce Island?"
"Togekiss must have been longing to see it's friends again." Yuugo said. "I know that aching pain…"
"Me too…" Erika murmured.
"Togekiss…" The Pokemon flew around them.
"Pichu!" Ukulele Pichu jumped. He got onto the stage and started playing again.
"Summer called it!" Keith smiled. "This Togekiss wasn't just looking for the island! It was looking for its friends! The Pokemon that lived on that island!"
The young lady turned to Summer. "You saved the Pokemon that was feeling sad. Thank you so much, Rangers. And you too Cyber Sleuths."
"Thank Kentaurosmon." Takumi said pointing at the knight. "We wouldn't have gotten through to the guy if it weren't for him."
"Hmph. Don't get the wrong idea. I was only stating the facts. I knew what I said wouldn't guarantee this thing any happiness. Moving forward isn't something just anyone can do…"
Agumon looked down. "He's right. If your heart is too weak, you'll lose sight of what's important…It takes a strong heart to push past the worst of pain and find the true answer."
"Leopardmon and the others weren't able to do that…" Gabumon added.
"Yeah…" Nokia sighed.
"I came close to that once." Arata said.
"Been there myself." Ryuji added.
Yuuko nodded. "Sometimes it's impossible to do that on your own…but…if someone reaches out their hand…that helps a lot I find."
Alphamon nodded. "And I feel you have also overcome your past, Kentaurosmon. Would I be right to assume it had something to do with someone reaching out to you?"
The Knight looked up and thought back to a Tamer and her Digimon. "Heh…I guess so. Anyway, I'm done here." Kentaurosmon flew away.
"That guy is hard to read." Keisuke muttered.
"Ah, who cares?" Kate shrugged. "It's part of his style. But thanks to him, everything worked out! Right Ben? Summer?"
Ben and Summer posed. "Quest Clear!"
Later that evening the party and the Pichu moved back to Booker's place. "Pichu! Picchuu!" Booker's Pichu smiled.
"There, you're not lonely anymore, are you?" Booker grinned. "I'm glad you have good friends."
"Pichu! Pichu! Pichu! Pichu!" Everyone turned to Nick. "Pichu! Piichu! …How do you like it? Sound just like Pichu, don't I?"
"No way, you gotta be more like this!" Nokia cleared her throat. "Pichu! Pichu!"
Ukulele Pichu shook his head. "Pichuchuchuchu!"
Booker laughed. "Not in a million daydreams, you two."
"Pichu! Pichu! Pichu! Pichu!" Pichu cried out of tone like Nick. "Pichu! Pichu!" he then finished imitating Nokia.
Everyone burst into laughter. "Good one Pichu!" Ami giggled.
"This is so funny!" Booker chuckled. "Ukulele Pichu's copyin' Nick and Nokia!"
"Oh, come on Pichu!" Nokia groaned.
Kellyn looked out the door. Togekiss and the remaining Dolce Island Pokemon were just outside. "All those Pokemon lost their home…but they're pressing forward. Like Kentaurosmon said, that's a special accomplishment. The Pokemon of Oblivia are stronger than I thought…"
Booker stroked his beard. "For eight Pichu…And for all the Pokemon that used to live on Dolce Island, Renbow Island will be your new home! We, the villagers, and the Pokemon on Renbow Island welcome everyone!"
"Picchuu!" they all cheered.
The Pichu stared at Ben. He smiled knowing what they were waiting for. "Alright, everybody, all together now!"
The Rangers possessed. "Quest Clear!"
"Pichu!" the Pichu chanted as they did so.
