Chapter four:

Raph returns from doing some work on moving the hay around in the barn. He got rid of any that might be going bad. He knows that whenever they visit they take care of things when they can. He and Leo are on their third day out here. He hasn't noticed any migraines from Leo so he thinks he's doing pretty well in helping. He has been trying to not argue with the other so he won't get stressed. He knows that this isn't like back home and that Leo needs to relax. He makes it back to the farm house when done. He had left Leo laying back on the couch so the other could relax. He doesn't see him there anymore. He checks the kitchen to find nothing. So he heads to Leo's room. He pauses as he gets close as he hears a groan. He hurries inside worried that a bad migraine has hit. "Don't worry Leo! I'm here! Are you okay?" He pauses as a strong unmistakable smell hits him.

The smell of an omega.

Raphs wide eyes land on Leo who is laying on his side on top of the sheets. He hurries to Leo's side seeing the sweat and hearing him panting. "Leo? Are you okay!? Are you presenting?!" You don't have to if you don't want to. I just." He glances away before working up the courage to speak. "I guess if you are going to know me as an omega then you should know this. "I'll go clean the sheets. You relax here." Raph tells Leo and leaves the bathroom after getting a nod. He takes the sheets off of the messy bed then hauls them to the laundry area. He is glad that they were able to have a modern washer and dryer.

It makes things so much easier to do laundry.

Raph knows that when Leo is ready Mikey and Donnie will be understanding. He just doesn't plan to push his mate into confessing the truth before he is ready. He will make sure that he knows that it'll be okay though. He wonders if it'll be soon because now he knows Leo's secret.

Only time will tell for sure.

Back in the turtle lair Mikey enters into Donnies lab. "Donnie? Are you busy?"

Mikey is sitting on the couch watching some TV.

Raph takes him to the living room and Leo gasps at what he sees.

The couch has been moved back with the cushions missing. In front of it is a pillow fort with a blanket roof constructed well.

He hops in the shower making it a quick one so he can race back to Leo. He dries himself off then quickly joins Leo in the fort.

"I could listen to you all day beautiful." Raph places a kiss on the top of Leo's head and smiles seeing him blush. He keeps his arms around the other, planning to be there for as long as said other wants. He just does know that they'll need to eat something, and he will make sure Leo eats. He doubts that will be hard.

"Later can we watch Ghostbusters 2? I wanna see the titanic scene especially." Leo questions staying where he has found himself comfy.

"Sure we can." Raph agrees to this. He really likes that movie too and knows the titanic scene is Leo's favourite moment.

"Thanks."

The two fall quiet and after a little bit Raph thinks he should get them food.

Raph glances down to Leo and hears the soft snores. He smiles letting the other rest as he must be pretty tired. He is just going to be stuck here for a bit. He moves his free arm, the other arm trapped under Leo's body, and checks his phone at getting a text. He looks to it seeing that it is Donnie asking how things are going. He uses his one hand to type a response after turning his phone to silent. He doesn't want to risk waking Leo up.

'It's going pretty well. We've been able to avoid bad migraines. How about with you guys?'

Raph gets a message back not too long after sending his own.

'Pretty peaceful here. It's good that Leo hasn't had any bad migraines. You two take as much time as you guys need. I don't want to make the work you've done be for nothing, and Leo ending up having a bad migraine episode. I made some more pills for his migraines so we have them.'

'Thanks. I'll make sure that he'll be okay before we decide what day to head back. Enjoy your time with you and Mikey back home there.'

'Already doing so.'

Raph smiles to himself at that response. He plays on his phone quietly while letting Leo sleep. He'll get them food when the other wakes up.

The next day...

Leo is lounging on a cushioned outdoor lounge chair. He is looking out to the nature all around the farm house. He feels better than the day before which is nice to be able to move without Raphs help. Plus he is super glad that they have pain pills here, so if he is too sore he can have one. Leo opens his eyes and turns to a smiling Raph. "Yeah actually." He confirms to the other smiling more. He returns the kiss when Raph gives him one then they look into each other's eyes. "Wanna join me out here?"

"Sure." Raph moves another chair closer then sits in it. He looks to what Leo turns to.

"I love the nature." Leo mentions as they stare out what is out there. "Out here it is so beautiful. I feel like I could spend hours taking in its beauty."

"Heh. I can see what you mean." Raph smiles a little. "The nature out here really is something special." He guesses that Leo prefers to spend his heats here, so while recovering he can stare out to the nature here. He doesn't really understand how there is something that is so relaxing about it. "The views make it worth it to come here. Plus you make it worth it too." He looks to Leo smiling at seeing the blush on his face.

"Well we're out here alone and mates now after all." Raph tells him seeing him look to let their eyes meet. "Just don't always expect such snappiness."

"Wouldn't dream of it." Leo chuckles and Raph shakes his head as if Leo is being silly. He motions Raph closer then when the other does come closer he pulls him into a kiss.

The two break said kiss and let their eyes lock.

"Before we go back, but after I recover enough, we are going to have some more fun." Leo tells Raph who lets out a happy rumble in his chest at hearing this.

"Sounds good to me."
