Keith, Kate and Kellyn were walking around Aqua Resort. The siblings were just introducing Keith to their grandmother. And they were about to head to the pier when they heard a voice. "Keep fishing spots clean. Make sure to pick up after yourself."

They turned to a Fisherman nearby. "Huh? Were you talking to us?" Keith asked.

"I'm not a signboard. This is not a place to fish, either. I was just thinking out loud about manners. I always take care of my own litter, except one day when I was fishing in the Canal Ruins. I must have been a little careless."

"What happened?" Kate asked.

"I dropped some of the trash I was holding. That's been bothering me. What's worse, a Lumineon swam up and left with the litter in it's mouth."

"That's not good." Kellyn muttered.

"I know. That really worries me. I wounder if that Lumineon is okay. Rangers, can you check on the Lumineon for me?"

The Rangers posed. "Quest On!"

"Where is the Lumineon?" Kate asked.

"I dropped the litter near a hole deep in the Canal Ruins."

"What? A hole? There was no hole when we were patrolling there before."

"Well, there was when I went there."

"Did something happen in Canal Ruins?" Keith asked.

"I guess we'll have to find out for ourselves." Kellyn replied.

In a house inside Aqua Resort, Nokia, Ben, Summer and Chitose were listening to an old man. "A dream you say?" Ben asked.

"That's right. I've been having dreams about the same thing lately."

"Can you describe it?" Summer asked.

"It's like this…It's a place with nonstop lightning. There is an Electivire looking at me sadly. But I don't recall this Electivire. I try to talk to it, but when I open my mouth to speak…"

They waited for him to go on. "…Well? What happens next?" Nokia asked.

"And that's the end of the dream, and I wake up. I have a feeling this is no ordinary dream."

"How do you figure?" Summer asked.

"Maybe the Electivire in my dream is real, and maybe it's here in Oblivia somewhere. It may be trying to tell me something." The group looked at each other until the man spoke up again. "It's not a pleasant thing to dream about the same thing every night. I hope you'll help me, Heroes."

"We'll see what we can do." Ben replied before he and Summer posed. "Quest On!"

"The Electivire in my dreams was on a mountain covered with black clouds. Does that help?"

"I believe it does…We'll go check it out." Summer said before leading the group outside.

"Guys, can we talk about this?" Chitose asked. "Do you really think this dream means anything? The old guy could just be going senile or something."

"Well, we don't have anything else to do right now." Sumer replied. "We might as well check it out."

"I believe it was real." Nokia said.

"Why is that?" Chitose asked.

"Back before the world was changed…me, Takumi, Ami and Arata would start having these weird images of us together as kids. We brushed them off every time, but then we found out there was something to them…That we did in fact share a bond when we were kids. So, I can't help but think…does this man share a bond with that Electivire? I just can't let this go…"

"Nokia…alright. We'll see what we can do. But do we even know where to look?"

"Sure do!" Nokia nodded. "Mt. Ladya!"

"Layuda." Summer corrected.

"Layuda!"

"Oh, yeah. He mentioned a place with nonstop lightning. Nowhere else on Oblivia fits the bill." Chitose said.

"Let's move out!" Ben smiled.

Traveling down Sophian Road on Staraptor, the three Almia Rangers went towards Canal Ruins. But just as they were approaching the entrance, they saw something big in the water. "What's, that, a Wailord?" Keith asked.

"No…that's Whamon." Kellyn said. "That can only mean…" they spotted someone ridding on it. "Yu?"

"Hey, Yu!" Kate flew over to him.

"Huh? Kate?"

"We're here too." Keith said as he and Kellyn caught up.

Just then something else came out of the water, floating next to Whamon. "Huh? Who's there?"

Kate was nearly startled off her Staraptor. "Whoa! Where did you come from?!"

"Easy Kate, this is Divermon. He's Whamon's swimming teacher. He asked us to help him with something."

"Divermon, this is Kellyn, Keith, and Kate. They're three of the Pokemon Rangers we told you about." Whamon said.

"Ah, the humans who dedicate themselves to protecting Pokemon and nature." Divermon nodded. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."

"Likewise." Kellyn replied. "What brings you to Canal Ruins?"

"Apparently, there's a massive hole somewhere in the ruins. I don't know where it came from, but I thought it would be best to fill it up before someone gets hurt. I asked Yu and Otamamon to help me to investigate it first though. I'm curios to where it leads."

"A hole, you say? Could it be the one the fisherman was talking about?"

"What?"

"A fisherman at Aqua Resort said he accidently dropped some garbage down a hole and that a Lumineon swallowed it. He got worried and asked us to help it."

"That's bad." Divermon said. "We must make haste! Come Otamamon!"

"Okay!" Whamon replied. "Yu, hang on tight!"

"Right! Kellyn, Kate, Keith, we'll help you on your mission."

"Well, it's a Quest, not a Mission, but thanks." Keith replied.

One the second floor of Mt. Layuda Ben and Summer captured two Electabuzz that tried to attack them and released them. Ben looked towards the cave in front of them. "Okay, let's see what's in here." Inside the cave was a Electivire. "There's an Electivire." Ben said. "Think it's the one?"

"Well, we haven't seen one since we came to this island." Chitose replied.

"Well, let's catch it and bring it to that old guy." Nokia said.

Ben and Summer launched their Stylers. "Capture On!"

When Electivire saw their gadgets start twirling around it, it roared and threw bolts of lightning at them. They skillfully avoided the attacks and continued the capture. Electivire then decided to take aim at the Rangers themselves rather than their Stylers.

"Oh, no you don't!" Vikemon jumped in front of Ben and shielded the attack with his arms. WarGreymon protected Summer with his Brave Sheild.

"Freezing Breath!" MetalGarurumon blew a blue jet of ice that froze Electivire's feet to the ground. Once it was grounded, Ben and Summer completed the capture.

"Thanks for the assist." Ben said.

Once the Pokemon was tamed, WarGreymon slashed the ice at it's feet, freeing it. Electivire hurried over to the Rangers. "Huh…this one seems friendly." Nokia said.

Ben turned to the group. "I think…Electivire sensed through our Stylers that we want to take him to the old man."

"Well, they can convey your feelings to the Pokemon, right?" Chitose asked. "Makes sense I guess."

"If that's the case, it has to be the one he was talking about!" Nokia exclaimed. "Let's hurry back to Aqua Resort!"

Divermon lead the team deep into Canal Ruins. "Alright, it should be around here somewhere…"

Kellyn pointed forward. "Look, there!" He pointed ahead. There was a hole in the ground on the stone footing ahead of them. "That must be the hole."

"Alright, now let's-

Everyone heard a distressed animal's cry. A Lumineon cried out as it jumped out of the water and into the hole. "What was that?" Yu asked.

"That's a Lumineon." Kate replied. "And it looked like it was in pain…"

"I bet it's the one the fisherman told us about." Keith said. They all hurried over to the area and dismounted, before gathering around the hole.

"Well, looks like we get to investigate where this leads to." Divermon said.

"Yu and I will stay up here and make sure nobody else falls in." Kate said. "The rest of you go after that Lumineon."

Yu took out his Digivice.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Whamon Digivolve to…MarineAngemon!"

"Okay, good luck down there." Yu said. "And please save that Pokemon."

"We're on it." Divermon nodded. "Otama-no, MarineAngemon, show me what you've learned!"

"Okay!"

Keith and Kellyn put on their Aqualungs before diving in with Buizel, Divermon and MarineAngemon. They spotted the Lumineon whimpering. "Hey, Lumineon!" Keith said. Lumineon was startled by them and swam away. Deeper into the cave…

"Come on, we better hurry after it." Divermon swam ahead.

Keith grabbed onto Buizel. "Alright, let's move!" His Pokemon carried him further ahead.

MarineAngemon turned to Kellyn. "Kellyn, grab onto me."

"What?"

"Come on, hurry! We gotta catch up!"

"Okay…WHOAAA!" As soon as Kellyn took hold he was nearly shaken off. Before he knew it, they had already caught up to Keith and Divermon.

Keith couldn't believe it. "You gotta be kidding me."

Divermon laughed. "That's my pupil for ya! Now let's catch that poor little fish!" The scared Pokemon spat bubbles and shot whirlpools at them. Buizel and the aquatic Digimon maneuvered around all the attacks and Divermon narrowed his eyes as he sped up. Without a Ranger slowing him, he easy caught the Pokemon. "Gotchya!"

Keith examined it. "Looks like the poor guys swallowed something…"

"Let me take a look." Kellyn came over and opened it's mouth. He gently wrapped his arms around it and gave it a firm squeeze. The Lumineon spat out some rubbish. "There you go. Better?"

The Pokemon smiled at him and swam away. Keith sighed in relief. "That worked out."

Divermon looked around. "Looks like this place goes even deeper in. From the looks of the structure…I'd say it's connected to the underwater Canal Ruins. Once we get to the surface, I'd best fill up this hole."

"Yu and I will give you a hand." MarineAngemon said.

"Want us to help as well?" Kellyn asked.

"No, the three of us will be enough." Divermon said. "You should tell the human who sent you here what happened. I'm sure he's worried."

"Alright. Thanks for the help Divermon." Keith replied.

"Heh. That should be my line."

"Still, how did this hole get here?" Keith asked.

"Good question. Wish I knew."

While Keisuke and Ryuji were training in Mt. Sorbet…

"Justice Kick!" Justimon charged from above towards HerculesKabuterimon who jumped out of the way.

"Giga Blaster!" Keisuke's Digimon shot a gold beam from his horn. Justimon caught the attack with his armored hand and with effort, pushed it aside.

"Not bad." Ryuji said. "Both Justimon and HerculesKabuterimon's performance are improving. …Keisuke? Are you listening?"

"Um, guys?" Keisuke pointed at HerculesKabuterimon's deflected attack. "What should we do about that?"

Justimon watched the attack fly off into the distance. "Oh, I'm sure it will dissipate…eventually…probably…"

"Oh, that's reassuring."

Ryuji shrugged it off. "Stop worrying Keisuke, what's the worse that could happen?"

Back in the old man's house, the elder looked at Electivire. "What a surprise! This is the Electivire I saw in my dreams! It's looking at me just like in my dreams…"

"So…what does this mean?" Patamon asked.

"Huh? Electivire! Show me that pattern on your neck." Electivire turned around. The man gasped. "It can't be!"

"Uh, sir?" Ben asked.

Tears came running from the man's eyes. "I've always wanted to see you again! I cannot believe how big you've grown…"

"So, you do know this guy?" Chitose asked.

The man turned to them. "Heroes, I think you deserve an explanation. It was when my wife and I were still living in the Almia Region that we saw this Electabuzz on Nobiki Beach. It was in danger of drowning and we rescued it. Then several years after that, we headed for the Aqua Resort with it…"

"What?" Summer asked. "But then how did it end up-

"We faced a storm…"

"Oh my…"

"The ship almost sank, and although we were safe, our Electabuzz was swept away with just a life ring…"

"How horrible…" Nokia muttered.

Ben turned to the Pokemon. "And then you landed on Mt. Layuda, right?"

"Electi!"

"Now it makes sense." Summer said. "You told us that you never saw the Electivire before…But you just couldn't recognize it because it evolved."

The man hugged the Pokemon. "My Electabuzz! Or should I say…Electivire! You've evolved and come back to see us! I'm so sorry that we couldn't find you…I'm so sorry for that."

His wife joined them. "We are together now."

Nokia wiped tears from her eyes. "This is just when I finally met Agumon and Gabumon again in this world…I'm so happy for them!"

"Me too!" Agumon jumped up and down.

"Electiii…"

The man backed up. "What's wrong, Electivire?" The man paused for a moment. "I see…You are fully grown now. Just as children leave their parents eventually, I see that you have your own life now. I understand."

"What? Are you sure?" Armadillomon asked. "You just finally got to see it again."

"It's okay." Chitose smiled. "Even if they part ways, they'll always be connected. You've seen how powerful that bond was with me and you."

"Yeah…"

"We'll make sure Electivire gets home to safely." Ben said.

"I hope you have a happy life there, my Electab…I mean, Electivire. You can come see us anytime."

"Electiii!"

"This makes me feel like I'm sending off my own child. Heroes, you've dissolved our sad feelings from the past, too. Thank you for believing my dream."

"Electi!"

Ben and Summer posed. "Quest Clear!"

Keith, Kate and Kellyn were explaining to the fisherman what happened. "Let me see the litter Lumineon swallowed." Kellyn gave him the object. "Yes, this is it. This is what I dropped. So, how is the Lumineon?"

"It's fine now that, that thing is out of its stomach." Kellyn replied.

"It's fine? I'm so glad to hear that. Now the knot in my stomach is gone, too! So, the hole leads to a subterranean lake? I'd better seal it before anything happens."

"A friend of ours is already on that." Kate replied.

"Ah, I see. In any case, thank you for helping me. I'll be more careful in future."

The three Rangers posed together. "Quest Clear!"
