We were in front of a black cloaked, and hooded person who calls himself Kremant. He is the person who brought me somehow here. And now, i want to know why.
Ionas: So, you're the one who brought me here!
Kremant: I think we already covered that part. Don't you have anything else to say?
Ionas: Now that you say, yes, i have. *Serious* Why you brought me here? Why you took me away from my home?
Kremant: So weird. And here i thought you would enjoy your transportation here.
Ionas: *Annoyed* Don't change the topic and answer my Darn question!
Kremant: Such a hard question. What if i told you, that i brought you here just because i can?
Ionas: Are you making fun of me? *Upset* Show the face behind the hood! I wanna see with what kind of smart-ass i am dealling with, before i punch that said face of yours!
I really hate it when others make fun of me!
Kremant: Oh, how threatening. But i'm afraid you lose your time. This blackness you see, IS my face. Literally, no joke.
Well, that was an unexpected answer. But even so, i want to learn with what purpose he brought me here.
Lala: Peke? Do you know what this Kremant guy is?
Oh, right. I forgot that Lala has always with her this Peke companion on her hair. Known also as the "all-costume robot".

Nana rushes at Kremant and goes for a punch, but when she reaches him, her punch, along with the rest of her body, passes through Kremant, and she ends up falling onto the ground.
Mikan: Nana-chan!
Nana gets up, having a very surprised look on her face.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* What just happened?!
Kremant: You really thought this will work? It looks like the stupidity goes cloud.
What the- That's a greek type of insult! How he-! Oh, it can't be...
Ionas: *Real Surprised* You are a greek too?!
Everyone exclaims in surprise once more at what i said.
Kremant: *Grin* You noticed i see! I was, until i became the being you see in front of you.
Ok, now THAT, was unexpected.
Ionas: And what you're supposed to be?
Kremant: I'm the being known as Kremant of course! But nice to meet you again anyway!
Ionas: *Annoyed* That's not what i meant! Don't play with my nerves, you-!
Kremant: Ok, ok, enough with the teasing. The truth is, that i brought you here for two reasons.
Ionas: What are those reasons?
Kremant: First, like i already said, because i can. And second, for my personal entertainment.
What?! He is kidding. He is kidding, right?
Kremant: No i'm not.
Ionas: *Confused* What the-?
Kremant: That's right, i can read minds if i want to. And i can tell you that i'm not kidding this time. *Red Eyes Glow Brighter* }}I am totally serious!{{ *Eyes Return To Normal Glow*
He said that with a deep voice, and made me shiver. And i don't think i'm the only.

And like that, he disappeared in the blink of an eye, like he was never even there.
Ionas: ... Another mystery appeared. *Troubled* And this one is as illogical as it can get!
Nana: *Sweat Drop* What was even that guy?
Ionas: *Troubled* I would like to know that as well!
Mikan: Whatever he is, let's not let it trouble us for now. We better get home. It starts to get dark.
Lala: Right! Let's not leave Rito wait more, let's go!
And with that, we continue our way for Rito's house, having many questions in our minds after we encountered Kremant. I have a feeling things are gonna be real stressful from now on. Like i didn't have already enough things to worry about.
Mikan: So, Ion, right?
Ionas: Yes?
Mikan: Are you really a greek from another Earth?
Ionas: Yes. Yes i am. Why?
Mikan: Oh, no real reason, really. It is just kind of weird to tell you the truth. I see aliens almost every day, and even live with some, but this is the first time i hear about someone that actually came from another universe.
Ionas: Believe me, if that sounds crazy to you, to me that i actually lived it, is even more crazy.
Mikan: I guess so. But why did that Kremant brought you here for? What was his intention on doing so?
Ionas: I don't know, but if we forget about the nonsense he was spouting about "personal entertainment", i don't think it is for good.
Nana: What about the robot that attacked us at school? You know anything?
Ionas: Nothing. And not even Mikado knew anything about those robots. It's like they came out of nowhere. Those two things could be related with one another. Probably. Speaking of which, how did that robot captured you in the first place?
Nana: It surprised us with its sudden emergence and caught us off guard. *Frustrated* That sneaky little-
Ionas: Don't think about it. It's not your fault for not seeing it coming. Everyone can get surprised by things like that. See it like this. In the end we gave it a good beating that will never forget anytime soon. Right?
Nana: I guess...
Ionas: And the next time, if more of them come, we'll send them straight to the scrapyard! Right?
Nana: Right!
Ionas: *Smile* That's the spirit!
Mikan: It is nice to see that you two are getting along.
Ionas: Well... I wouldn't say that. Yet.
Nana: What is that supposed to mean?
Ionas: Because of what happened to the infirmary earlier. When miss Mikado accidentally fell on me.
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* What now?
Ionas: What you heard. And let's be honest, it was still a weird placement that one. I can understand that Nana hates when things like that happen, and that she will think bad of me for that, possibly. So, how can we get along if she thinks that i'm some kind of pervert?
Nana: What? You believe that i'm mad at you just because of what happened back there?
Ionas: You get angry when Rito gets himself on those kind of situations, don't you?
Nana: Yes, because he always falls without any real reason! And you have already proven that it was not your fault for what happened back there. So tell me, why even think bad of you?
Ionas: *Thinking* Well...* Ok, you've got a point there. I guess i'm just afraid of making a bad first impression. I don't want the people around me, and who now i am going to live along with under the same roof, to think bad of me.
Nana: Well, you don't need to worry about it. I can tell you for sure that compared to him, you're just ok.
Did not expect her to be that reasonable. So strange. Anyway, after a few more minutes of walking, we reached Rito's and Mikan's house.
Mikan: And here we are.
Ionas: Looks like a nice house to stay in.
Mikan: *Smile* Thanks. Well, let's get in.
We were about to get inside, when Lala hits herself lightly onto... Nothing?
Lala: Huh?
She then starts to knock the place where she hit. It seems like an invisible wall was blocking our way.
Lala: There's an invisible wall in front of the house.
Nana: Did you mess with another invention again, big sis?
Wait a minute?! I know this part! And if i remember well, that means-! Before i can finish that thought, we hear a loud noise, and then the invisible barrier in front of us started to react in a way like it was suffering from malfunction.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* What's going on?!
Yes, now i'm certain about it. After the light show ended, the invisible wall was gone. From what i remember from the anime, that was Mea's doing.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* The barrier is gone.
Lala: *Smile* Then we can get in!
I was about to get inside as well, when i accidentally hit my head onto the door's upper frame.
Ionas: *In Pain* Ouch!
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* A-Are you ok?!
Ionas: *Annoyed* Ugh!* *Calmer* I'm fine, don't worry.
This door is much shorter than it should! When we all get inside, the lights were all closed. Mikan tried to open them, but the lights were not working for some reason.
Ionas: Blackout?
Mikan: Probably.
Lala: Rito is not down here.
Mikan: He must be in his room. Let's go see.
We all move upstairs, and we were getting close to Rito's room, just before the lights suddenly light up on their own.
Ionas: Ah, the lights are back.
Mikan: Rito, are you in your room?
We open the door, and go inside.
Lala: *Smile* We're back! Sorry we got home late!
Mikan: We bought dinner- *Notices*
We saw Rito along with Yui, which she was dressed in a not so appropriate way.
Nana: *Blush* Ri-Rito! You didn't-
Yui: *Sweat Drop* *Blush* Wait a minute, Nana!
Rito: *Sweat Drop* *Blush* I-It's not what it looks like! We got rained on, so i lent her my clothes, that's all!
Lala: Eeh? But there was no rain today?
Rito: *Sweat Drop* Huh? That's weird...
Yui: *Sweat Drop* But it did!
Nana: *Upset* You and your lies again, Rito!
It is so hard to hold my laughter like this! All this misunderstanding... It is just so funny that my cheeks hurt from the incoming laugh.
Lala: *Notices* Are you ok, Ion?
Ionas: *Tries to hold his laugh back* Where... *Tries more* Is the bathroom?
Lala: The bathroom? It's that way
Without losing time, i run quickly to the bathroom, and close the door behind me. Then, i burst into laughs.
~Some Minutes Later~
After things calmed down a bit, Yui decides to return back to her home. Mikan asked her to stay for dinner, but she declined. Then a few minutes later, Momo came into the house from the main door.
Momo: *Smile* Hi everyone! Sorry for being late.
Nana: Where you were all this time?
Momo: Oh, nothing special. Just a little night walk.
*Sarcastic Thought* Yeah sure you were. And i'm a dwarf.* Anyway. After that, Mikan serves us with the food she bought, which must be what they call " bento", and we all sit down at the table to eat. Basically, there was no chairs to sit on in the living room, so we all sat down on the floor, japanese style, with the table in front of us. I was sitting between Mikan and Lala, for no actual reason about my placement, it just happened.
Mikan: I hope you like bento, Ion.
I look at its inside. Overall good, but...
Ionas: *Awkward* Well, i can't say that it looks bad, but if you don't mind i'll leave the fish out of it.
Rito: You don't like fishes?
Ionas: I don't like seafood in general. The smell is just too much for me to handle. But, all the other foods in this bento look great.
I grab the chopsticks and try to use them and start eating, but i just couldn't use them right. The food just kept on falling down and back into the bento box every time.
Ionas: *Sigh*
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* Let me bring you a fork.
Mikan brings me a fork, and i was able to start eating normally. I take a bite from the bento's rice and the other foods inside, and i can say only one thing.
Ionas: Great indeed!
Kremant: The fish is not half-bad either, you know.
Everyone: ...
We all jumped from our seats as we notice Kremant sitting besides us. We also notice that he was holding a black bento box in his hands, filled with the fishes i cast aside.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* Where did you come from?!
Kremant: *Grin* From nowhere, duh. Along with this little bento box of mine. *To Ion* Thanks for the fishes by the way, friend. *Gulps A Fish*
With a snap of his fingers, the bento box he was holding disappears from his hand.
Rito: *Sweat Drop* Wh-Who are you?!
Kremant: Right, we haven't met yet. I am Kremant, nice to meet you, Rito and Momo.
Momo: You know who we are?
Kremant: But of course! It is my job after all to know everything about my victims- I mean friends, before i officially start the show!
Rito: *Sweat Drop* V-Victims?
Momo: *Confused* Show?
Nana: *Annoyed* What the hell are you talking about?! Why are you even here?!
Kremant: You don't remember? I thought i told you i'll explain everything later. Well, the "later" is now and here i am! Ready to start explaining about Ion's case, and probably more.
Ionas: Really? *Serious* Then speak! And i want a good explanation this time, about why you took me away from my home!
Kremant: *Grin* Sure things! It's not like i have anything to hide, after all.
What are we gonna hear again? Let's just get this over with.
Ionas: *Serious* Tell us everything you have to tell. No lies.
Kremant disappears and reappears in front of the living room's TV.
Kremant: I hope you have some time, because it will take long. As in-
Kremant pulls fast out of one of his sleeves a TV controller, pushes a button, and opens the TV in an unknown channel, where we hear him narrating his story.
Kremant: "Long ago, in a distant world, I, Kremant, the shadowy master of madness and darkness, was born from an mysterious crystal, making me lose my human existence from a mysterious human that used it upon me. But the foolish man never expected that his life will end that very moment. *Claws Stab Sound* *Distant Scream* My strike was vicious, and the man turned to dust, leaving behind only his cloak, and the crystal with the mysterious power.
Truth be told, i kinda like the plot.
Kremant: "I took the crystal in my hands, feeling great power inside. And so, i did what i thought right that moment. I absorbed it."
Ionas: *Raises An Eyebrow* You absorbed it?
Kremant closes the TV.
Kremant: Yes. And it was quite delicious i can say. Though, i didn't actually ate it. Anyway! The crystal became one with me, giving me not as much power as i expected, BUT, compared to the others of my kind, i-
Nana: *Sweat Drop* Wait, there are more like you?!
Kremant: Yes. Quite a fun bunch i must say. But they are not all really like me, though. Some are good, some are evil, some are crazy, and some are a combination of the three, or just not sure and go with the flow of things. But nevertheless, we are all just like a big and happy family.
Ionas: *Troubled* A family full of supernatural weirdos.
Kremant: *Grin* The one i like!
What an uneasy thought.
Kremant: Well, as i was saying, compared to the others of my kind, i'm the only who has the power to create life from nothing.
Momo: *Surprised* Life from nothing? Is such thing even possible?
Kremant: For me it is.
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* Wait! That doesn't explain why Ion is here.
Kremant: But, THAT'S how he is here!
Mikan: Eh?
Ionas: What do you mean?
Kremant: See, my kind is not able to bring living beings from one world to another. Bu~t, there is one exception. The soul.
Ionas: The soul?
Kremant: Yes, the soul. But as you can understand, a soul without a body is just a wandering spirit that is waiting for its peace. So, I created one especially for you!
Ionas: *Raises An Eyebrow* Come again?
Kremant: That's right! For you to be here, i created a similar version of your previous body in this world. And when it was ready, i just needed to take your soul, bring it to this world, and place it inside this new body you now possess.
Lala: *To Peke* Is that possible, Peke?
Peke: No! This is totally illogical!
Kremant: Illogical? For you maybe, little robot. For me, *Big Grin* way of life.
Nana: Ok, now that's just ridiculous!
Ionas: That doesn't even make sense!
Kremant: Make sense? Where is the fun in making any sense? Like it or not, that's the truth.

Kremant: I'll answer that with another question. What happens when a body loses its soul?

I fall down onto the floor with my backside. I was feeling really depressed, and small tears were falling slowly from my eyes. I just couldn't believe it. How could he just take me away from them? They were everything for me. And he just...
Nana: *Upset* How dare you!
Nana stands up and points her finger at Kremant.
Nana: *Upset* Who do you think you are to just take him away from his family against his will?!
Momo: *Upset* Yeah!
Momo stands up as well, with the others doing the same.
Momo: *Upset* You can't take people away from their families just like that! Why do that? What you will achieve by bringing him here?
Rito: *Upset* Yeah!
Mikan: *Upset* That's not right!
Lala: *Upset* Not nice of you, you big meanie!
Kremant said nothing. He was just standing there, before starting to chuckle amused.
Nana: *Annoyed* What's so funny?!
Kremant: Oh, nothing really. But, i must say thought, that i like seeing you supporting your new friend so much. Especially now, in his time of need. *Seemingly Sincere* You all are really good people in your own unique way.
He just showed a good side of his, or i'm too confused to understand?
Kremant: *Eyes Glow For A Moment And Grins* That's the kind of people i like to tease the most!
And i was wondering. I stand up and pull myself together as much as i can.
Rito: *To Ion* You ok?
Ionas: I'm fine.
I must just admit that what happened happened, stand on my ground, and face this demon!
Kremant: I see you're back.
Ionas: *Serious* I think you have something last to tell us before we kick your unwelcomed bottom out of this house.
Kremant: If you mean the sudden strength you gained, which helped you defeat that robot, then you are right.
Ionas: We are listening.
Kremant opens the TV again, to show his explanation, while pointing around the TV window with a stick, which appeared from nowhere in his hand.
Kremant: As you can understand, just bringing an ordinary person to this world wouldn't be a good idea. Mostly because of the dangers that are most likely to pop out of nowhere, like that big metallic insect you defeated some hours ago. And so, to make sure that you will be able to survive from future dangers, i made sure while i was creating your new body to place inside it, something that i refer to as: Energy Upgrade!
Ionas: Energy Upgrade?
Kremant: This special energy of yours grows stronger as long as you use it, in any way imaginable, giving you the chance to unlock randomly one new power or ability. See it as filling an EXP Bar in a game to earn new skills. The difference is that, as i said, is random. Took me a week to make it work that way. By the way, remember those headaches you had after the landing?
Ionas: Yeah?
Kremant: It was me who was trying to activate the energy.
Ionas: *Raises An Eyebrow* Seriously now?
Kremant: Yes. And the strange sensation you felt back there was the energy that has been activated for the first time. For now you were able to unlock the powers that gives you enhanced strength and durability, same as those of a Devilukean pretty much, as your "starter pack". You also unlocked the ability to heal rapidly from almost any physical injury, while you were fighting that robot. In other words, a Healing Factor. Lucky you!
Lala: *Amazed* Wow, that sounds awesome!
Kremant: But you unlocked only a small portion of these powers, so they are not that great at the moment. I suppose because they were used too soon after the Energy Upgrade was activated for the first time. I will guess that it will unlock the rest of their actual potential by tomorrow morning.
Kremant closes the TV again, and the controller along with the stick he was holding vanish from his hands.
Ionas: I see. And by the time, you said that i'll have more powers?
Kremant: Yep! But i'm not telling you what kind.
Ionas: Why?
Kremant: Because if i tell you, then where's the fun of the surprise? Even so i will tell you this. This energy is connected with your endurance. If you use it too much, you will be too exhausted to even use it or move at all, and you'll need some rest until you can use it normally again. But don't worry. When a power is unlocked, the energy inside you grows in power by a certain amount, along with your endurance, and how much you can use each power. And there you have it! Now i guess it's time for me to leave, so-
Ionas: Whoa, whoa, not so fast! If the energy was not activated during my big fall on this world, then how am i still in one piece after such landing?
Kremant: Oh, that. Just a little protection i gave you temporarily while you were falling, to help you endure the great fall.
Ionas: Ok, that explains it. But now that i think about it, why was i falling in the first place?
Kremant: *Grin* Thought i'd give you a fright. *Amused Giggling*
Ionas: ...

Kremant: Oh, wait, that's mine.
From his cloak, Kremant takes out a cell phone and places it on the outside of his hood?
Kremant: Yes? Oh hi, friend, how's it going? You don't say. Awesome! Alright, i'm coming in a moment. See ya!
He closes his phone and places it back in his cloak.
Ionas: *Surprised* You even have and use cell phones?!
Kremant: Don't you?
Ionas: *Confused* Well, yeah, b-but, I mean-
Kremant: Anyway, a friend just told me that there's a big party that is taking place in the Shadow Zone. That's the name of our home by the way. So, time to go, all, bye!
And like that, he disappears in a blink of an eye like before.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* What a weirdo.
Ionas: I agree. *Sigh*
So, that's it. No matter what i'll try... I will never see my family again.
Ionas: *Saddened* I guess we cannot undo what happened. So, i better not bother you with my impossible case anymore. I'm leaving.
I turn around, and take a few steps toward the exit.
Rito: Wait!
I stop immediately, and look behind me, wondering.
Rito: You don't need to go, you can still stay here.
Ionas: I can still stay here? Didn't you hear him? I cannot return back to my world anymore, and i will just be a burden for you all if i decide to stay.
Mikan: You will not be a burden at all! You can stay here as much as you want.
Ionas: Really?
Mikan: Can't just leave you all by yourself now in your time of need.
Momo: Yeah! I mean, it's also the least we can do after you saved us from that robot that attacked us in school not long ago.
Lala: *Smile* You heard them! You can stay here with us!
Ionas: ...
This is quite the touching moment, actually. I guess it will not be a bad idea to stay here after all. I mean, it's my best option if you think about it.
Ionas: If you all have no problem with it, *Smile* then neither do i.
Mikan: So you will stay?
Ionas: *Smile* I'll stay, and thank you for having me.
Mikan: *Smile* Great!
Lala: *Enthusiastic* Yay, a new friend!
Like that other time, Lala suddenly hugs me tightly.
Nana: *Blush* Ah- Big sis!
Ionas: *To Lala* Ok, ok, i get it, you're a hugger. *Somewhat In Pain* Can you please leave me now? *Hardly Breathing* I think... Losing... Oxygen!
Lala: Oh, sorry.
Lala releases me from her grip, letting me breathe normally again. She is indeed a lot stronger than she looks.
Mikan: Now that i see you again, you seem to be a very tall guy. How much is your height?
Ionas: *Proud* Exactly two meters.

We finished with our food, and i only have one question in my mind now.
Ionas: Not that i want to become annoying, but where am i going to sleep?
Mikan: *Thinking* Well, i guess you can sleep in Rito's room.* *To Rito* I hope you don't mind sharing your room with Ion, Rito.
Rito: *Smile* Not at all.
Mikan: Good. Now, i'll just need to prepare a futon for you to sleep in, Ion.
Ionas: What is a futon?
Mikan: You don't know?
Ionas: Not sure- *Remembers* Ah, wait! Is it like a Japanese mattress or something?
Mikan: Actually yes. And don't worry, it's quite comfortable.

Mikan goes upstairs to prepare the futon for me. After all those things that happened today, i'm really gonna need some nice, goodnight sleep.

Lala: I heard you are from a place called Greece. How's that place?
Ionas: Greece? *Smile* Well, you can say that it's a nice place to live. Beautiful beaches, tasty foods, lots of places you can visit for a walk, see the ruins and items of its ancient times, and plenty more!
Momo: *Smile* Sounds like a good place for vacations.
Ionas: It sure is! One of the best. *Sigh*
Rito: Is something the matter, Ion?
Ionas: It's nothing. I'm just a little homesick, that's all. You know what? I think i'll go to bed early for the night, if you don't mind.
I get up and start walking upstairs, going toward Rito's room. The door was open, so i decided to walk in. While i was about to do just that, i didn't see Mikan about to come out, having as a result to accidentally make her hit her face on my stomach, and making her fall with her backside on the floor.
Mikan: *Somewhat In Pain* Ouch!
Ionas: *Troubled* Oops, sorry for that, i didn't see you!
I gave her a hand, helping her to get up.
Ionas: You ok?
Mikan: I'm fine, but i think you should be more careful when you walk around.
Ionas: *Rubs His Head In embarrassment* Yeah...
Mikan: *Smile* Anyway, your futon is ready.
I look inside and see a white and long futon beside Rito's bed.
Ionas: *Raises An Eyebrow* Are you sure i will fit in that?
Mikan: Don't worry, it's long enough for you to fit in without problem.
Ionas: Nice! And- *Realizes* Oh!
Mikan: What's the matter?
Ionas: I... *Somewhat Troubled* I just remembered that i don't have any pajamas. Actually, i only have the clothes i wear.

Kremant: Delivery for Mr. Ion!
Ionas: *Startled* What the-?!
Mikan and i saw Kremant riding a bicycle, and wearing a delivery man's hat, inside the room close to us. He was also holding on his hand a large package.
Ionas: What are you doing here again so soon?! *Confused* And what with this getup?
Kremant: Just bringing a little welcoming gift. Here.
Kremant hands me the package.
Ionas: What is this?
Kremant: *Grin* Open it and you'll see.
Before i say anything more, he has already disappeared.
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* What was that about?
Ionas: Let's find out.
Without hesitation, i open the package and see something unexpected inside.
Ionas And Mikan: Clothes?
There were clothes inside the package. Lots of them.
Ionas: *Confused* Ok, now i'm even more confused. But, i guess this solves the clothing problem.
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* I guess.
Ionas: Let's not think much of it. He probably wants to confuse us, or something.
Mikan: Maybe... Anyway, i'll go down to clean the table. You will sleep?
Ionas: In a few minutes. I'll change and get straight to it.
Mikan: Alright. Goodnight to you, Ion.
Ionas: *Smile* Goodnight, thanks again for your great hospitality.
Mikan: *Smile* Don't mention it.
And with that, Mikan walks out of the room.
Ionas: Ok, let's see what we have here.
I searched the clothes in the package and found a nice pair of green pajamas.
Ionas: Good enough.
I remove my current clothes and changed into my new pajamas.
Ionas: *Checking Himself* Fits well. Not bad actually coming from that fu-
As i was checking myself, i notice at the open door Nana looking at me with a somewhat troubled face. Did she see me while i was changing?! I'll play it fool for now and see how it goes.
Ionas: *Seemingly Confused* Why are you looking at me like that?
Nana: *Flustered* N-N-Nothing! I saw nothing!
She definitely saw me changing.
Ionas: Ok... So, what brings you here? Came to say goodnight?
Nana: Well, actually...
Nana gets in and closes the door behind her, before coming a little closer to me, still looking a bit troubled.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* I came to th... Tha...
Ionas: Hm?
Nana: *Sweat Drop* I came to thank you, ok!?
Well, that's unexpected!
Nana: I wanted to thank you properly too, for saving us from that thing earlier. If you were not there, who knows what they would do to us.
Ionas: *Smile* Nice of you, but you didn't really need to thank me better. I'm just satisfied that no one is hurt.* *A Bit Concerned* By the way, how's your tail?
Nana: It's fine, thankfully...
She looks at her tail behind, while moving it a bit.
Nana: I'm happy that i still have it. Thank you again for what you did back there. And Ion?
Ionas: Hm?
Nana: *Somewhat Saddened* I just want to say that i feel sorry for what happened to you. About you not being able to see your home ever again, and-
Ionas: Don't you worry about it. I kind of got over it already. Need to adapt some more to the fact, but it will soon feel like nothing special at all. *Smile* But thanks for the special caring. It means a lot.
Nana: *Blush*
Nana that moment turns her head the other way, with her arms crossed.
Nana: *Blushing And Looking Away* We-Well, i thought you might need it!
Ionas: ... *Amused Smile*
She is always so funny to watch when she shows that tsundere side of hers.
Nana: A-Anyway, i'm going to sleep. Good- Whoa!
While Nana was about to leave, she slips on the clothes i dropped down earlier.
Ionas: *Alarmed* Watch-!
I tried to catch her, but as a result Nana fell onto me, throwing me down.
Ionas: *Somewhat In Pain* Ouch!* Nana, you allr-
I realize that moment that Nana was on top of me, with her back on my front and with my hands on her stomach. When she realizes how she is placed on top of me, her face becomes full of embarrassment. That... Is never a good thing with her. Soon after, someone opens the door.
Rito: Hey Ion, are you still awa- *Notices With Surprise*
Rito see us in that position and freezes after witnessing me and Nana like that, having his known awkward reaction. Ok, this is way too embarrassing!
Nana: *Blushing And Upset* Y-Y-You~!
I close my eyes, while moving my hands away, to not see the incoming slap. I hear a strong slapping sound, but i wasn't feeling any pain for some reason.
Ionas: *Opens Eyes* Eh?
I open my eyes and see that Nana was no longer on top of me, and that she actually slapped Rito instead. Rito was lying on the floor with a red hand mark on his face, while Nana was standing there, looking at him with an angry expression on her face.
Nana: *Blushing And Upset* Learn to knock, you beast!
Nana leaves the room, forcefully closing the door behind her.
Ionas: *Confused* ... Ok, how in the world i avoided this?
Rito: *Sweat Drop* And why was I the one who received it?
This cannot become more confusing. After that odd incident, me and Rito later got prepared to sleep, with him in his bed, and me inside the futon. This was a really frustrating and strange day. I wonder how things are gonna be tomorrow for me now that i'll be here for who knows how long. With that in mind, i close my eyes and attempt to sleep.
~Some Hours Later~Somewhere In A Forest During The Night~
{Mea's POV}
After the meeting with that woman, Azenda, was over, Master Nemesis was explaining her story, and how that will lead in the awakening of Yami's fighting instinct. Leading eventually to Yuuki Rito's elimination.
Mea: Rito-Senpai's elimination?
Namesis: What's wrong?
Mea: Uh, nothing. I was just wondering how Nana-Chan would react if Yami-Oneechan kills Rito-Senpai.
Nemesis: Don't think about anything unnecessary. Both you and Golden Darkness are weapons created for the sole purpose of fighting. You can only live inside the darkness.
Mea: *Smile* Yes. I understand Master!
I guess i was overthinking too much about that issue. But now that I remembered...
Mea: By the way, Master?
Nemesis: What is it?
Mea: This morning in school, something unexpected happened. A big bug-like robot came out of nowhere, and caught Nana and her sisters! Nana told me it was supposedly from an empire of some sort, and that it was saying something about a plan to take over Deviluke. Did you somehow send that empire after them as part of your plans, Master?
Nemesis: No. To tell the truth i was surprised too with that sudden appearance. I never heard of such empire before. But if their goal is the devilukean princesses, that might actually act as a great factor for our own plan, if the said party do as it needs to.
Mea: And it seemed like that robot's plan was going well. Until that guy showed up. *Smile* He was able to rescue Nana and the rest, and also strong enough to defeat that robot barehanded. His name is Ion. He said that he is a human from another universe and Earth. *Amazed* That sounds amazing, doesn't it?
Nemesis: That sound like quite of a stretch to be true. *Thinking* Hmm...
Mea: Is something the matter, master?
Nemesis: Now that i recall, one day ago i was feeling a strange aura in the air. A strong one. But i was unable for some reason to find its source in the end. That human has a similar aura around him, but in a different scale. They must have some sort of connection those two. That Ion fellow is not as human as he says he is, that's for sure.
Mea: You think he will cause us any problem?
Nemesis: I don't think so. But it will not hurt to learn more about him. Just to be sure what we might face in the future. What do you think, Mea?
Mea: *Sly Smile* I think this is going to be an interesting investigation for me, Master. *Giggling*
~Early In The Morning~
{Ion's POV}
Celine: *Happily* Mau!
Ionas: *Startled* AHH!
I was sleeping nice and good, when suddenly, Celine comes out of nowhere, and starts pulling my nose.
Rito: *Sweat Drop* What happened?!
Momo: *Smile* Good morning, guys!
Rito: Huh, Momo?
Ionas: *Holds Celine* *His Nose Closed* Don't forget about Celine here. Come on now little one, please let my nose!*
Celine unhands my nose, and jumps onto Rito's bed and in his hug.
Ionas: What are you two doing here so early in the morning?
Momo: Sorry for waking you up so early. See, Celine woke me up and made me come here.
Ionas: Ok? And the reason?
Momo takes out something that seemed like a 3DS.
Momo: *Smile* To play of course.
Ionas: *Raises An Eyebrow* Seriously now, so early for that? *Yawn*
Momo: *To Rito* Rito-San, wanna play?
Rito: Sure, why not?
Rito gets a 3DS for himself as well, and start playing together with Momo, while Celine was watching at the moment.
Ionas: ... Ok, this is and officially the weirdest waking i ever had so far.
I get up, and walk to the big closet where i placed my clothes last night. I took some of the black clothes and moved inside the closet, closing the door behind me and use it to cover myself while changing. I then change into my black clothes, and walk out of the closet.
Rito: Nice clothes.
Momo: They look good on you.
Ionas: Thanks.
Rito: Plan to go outside?
Ionas: Yeah, for a little walk. It will help me to wake up better.
Rito: Ok, see you later then, Ion.
Momo: See you!
I walk out of the room, and go downstairs. Because it was so early in the morning, there was seemingly no one down here yet. I open the front door, and while i was about to leave the house, i accidentally hit my head onto the door's upper frame, like the last time.
Ionas: *In Pain* Ouch! *Annoyed* Seriously now?!
Hate! After that, i moved outside normally. The sun was still a bit down, but its rays were enough to light the morning sky just enough for the road lights to be unlit. I was looking around, seeing that there was not a single soul outside. It's still early, so i'm not that surprised.
Ionas: *Yawn*
I'm still a little tired after that sudden waking. I hope a bit of walk will fix this. I walked at the middle of the empty for now road just outside of the house, and was about to start my walk, till i realized something.
Ionas: *Realization* I haven't learned the place and roads yet, *Annoyed* how am i supposed to go for a walk when i don't even know the frigging roads around me?!
I facepalmed myself for realizing this only just now! It must be because i woke up too early.
Ionas: *Irritated* What a waste of time, going back inside.
I was about to walk back to the house, when suddenly a blade comes from above and strikes the ground right in front of me, making me jump back from surprise.
Ionas: *Startled* What in the-?!
I see more blades coming from above, and coming straight for me. I jump around as fast as i can, and dodge them all just in time. The weird with those blades was that they seem to be connected with some sort of yellow rope or something.
?: You appear good at dodging.
Hearing a girl's voise coming from above, i look and see a giant spiked iron ball coming straight down at me.
Ionas: *Alarmed* Sh-
I leap forward quickly, dodge the iron ball, and smashes the road beneath instead. When i turn around, i see a girl with long blonde-haired Yami standing on top of the giant iron ball, wearing her normal gothic clothing.
Yami: *Serious* ...
Why she looks at me like that? As i was wondering, she turns the iron ball into her usual leg. I know that i'm in danger, but that Trans-Ability thing is so amazing to look at!
Yami: There's no mistake. This strange aura is coming from you.
Ionas: Aura? What are you tal-
She turns in an instant one of her hands into a blade.
Ionas: *Troubled* Whoa, whoa, wait now! There is no need for-!
Yami rushes at me, closing the distance fast. Realizing the danger, i quickly back off and dodge the incoming blade strike before it cuts me in half.
Ionas: *Troubled* Whyare you attacking me?! I'm not your en-!
Without giving me any response, or chance to say more, she keeps trying to slice me into ribbons with her blade. I'm trying as hard as i can to avoid the attacks, but I cannot say my big stature makes it any easier. Why is she even attacking me in the first place- What did i do?!
Ionas: *Troubled* Wait just-
She turns some of her hair into a big fist, and immediately punches me fast and strongly in the stomach with it, with the pain being enough to bring me to my knees.
Ionas: *Holds Stomach In Pain* Ow! Why...?
The pain is too much to say more. Yami was looking down at me with her usual expressionless look upon her face.
Yami: You don't look like a dangerous individual. But you must have bad intentions to come here and walk around in such a suspicious manner.
What suspicious manner?! What made me seem so bad in her eyes?!
Yami: *Serious* I will not risk it. Giving you a potential chance to hurt Mikan or the others, is out of the question. Begone.
Ionas: *Troubled* Wha-No, Yami, wait! This is all a big misunderstanding! You have to li-!
Without listening to a word, she rises her blade and she attempts to strike me down. I move my arms in front of me in a desperate attempt to defend myself, even if i knew this was a bad idea, and when the blade hits my arms... The blades were not able to slice through, surprising both Yami and I. I got the chance and used one of my arm to grab the arm with the blade, and pull her toward the opposite direction before throwing her away. The throw was strong enough to actually take her at a good distance from me. She regains her balance while in mid-air, and lands safely with her feet onto the pavement. Other than that, i didn't think i will end up being THAT durable.
Ionas: *Somewhat In Pain* Ouch!
I look at my arms, seeing a cut on both of them from the blade. The wounds were not that serious, while they seemed to heal quite fast already.
Kremant: Looks like your energy works better now.
Ionas: Eh?
I heard Kremant's voice, but couldn't see him anywhere.
Ionas: *Confused* Where are you?
Kremant: {Nowhere you can see me. I'm talking to you via telepathy. Cool huh? By the way, she's coming.}
Ionas: *Realization*
I see that moment Yami coming with great speed toward me, having her hair turned into a giant fist once more.
Ionas: *Troubled* Oh my-!
With a powerful thrust, she extends forward the giant fist of hair at me, with me placing my hands at the front, with the giant punch colliding with them, pushing me backward, till i was able to stop its advance almost immediately.
Yami: *Surprised*
Ionas: *Annoyed* Ok, you asked for it!
I pull my way the giant fist of hair with an sudden and strong movement, raising Yami up to the air by that way, and then throwing her hard at the ground on the opposite side with her back, with her reacting in a pained manner.
Ionas: *Serious* ...* *Surprised* Wow, that actually worked. To tell the truth i never expected-
Before i could finish that sentence, Yami uses the giant fist of hair, which i was still holding with my hands, to pull me and throw me away, ending up with my front at the ground.
Kremant: *Amused* {HA! Classic!}
Ionas: *Annoyed* Shut it!
I get up and look at Yami. She was already standing, and i have a fear that she still wants to kill me.
Yami: It appears that i underestimated you.
After saying that, she turns her whole hair into multiple blades.
Yami: *Serious* I will not do the same mistake twice.
Kremant: {It looks like the fun has been multiplied!}
Ionas: *Troubled* Oh boy.
This is definitely bad! She even turned her two hands into blades now!
Ionas: *Troubled* Seriously now, can't we just sit down and talk-!
She ignores what i said, and rushes my way in great speed, having her multiple blades on the ready. It is useless. She will not listen at all. Seeing her coming closer and closer, makes my heart beat like crazy from fear. I will end up getting stabbed to death! The pressure is too much for me to handle, thinking that i have no way of even defending myself against all that! At that moment... Something strange happened. Everything around me became red. The houses, the ground, the sky, everything had a red color on them.
Ionas: ...
I look again at Yami. She is... Moving in slow motion? What is going on? I was feeling so strange, like something was happening to my body. Then all of a sudden, my body started to move on its own, rushing at Yami. She was still moving in slow motion, but i was seemingly moving at normal speed. When i reach her, i start throwing punches and kicks repeatedly, stopping her advance and making her back away with every strike. My body was attacking on its own, and i had no control on it!
Ionas: ...
I couldn't even speak! I could only see myself, striking Yami here and there, non-stop. Why she is just taking the hits?!
I don't understand any of this at this point! After a few more hits, i give her one last punch in the stomach, that sends her some meters away, before falling again onto the ground. After that, everything around gained their normal colors again. For some reason i was feeling so weak, that i fell down onto my knees.
Ionas: *Troubled And Confused* What... Happened?
I looked at Yami. She got up somewhat with difficulty, and holding her stomach. She then started walking at a normal pace toward me.
Ionas: *Struggles To Stand*
I can't stand! Yami was now in front of me, still holding her stomach in pain. Just how hard did i hit her?
Yami: *Somewhat In Pain* I must admit. I was not prepared for that.
Yami takes the hand from her stomach, and turns it into a blade.
Yami: *Serious* But now, this is the end.
I couldn't move myself to get up, so much defend! I was totally helpless... She raises her blade high, ready to strike. This is it. I'm finished.
Mikan: Yami, no!
Yami stops as she hears Mikan, and seeing her approaching us fast along with Rito.
Yami: Mikan.
Talk about timing! After reaching us, Rito crouches beside me worried.
Rito: *Sweat Drop* Hey, Ion, are you ok?
Rito gives me a hand and helps me to get up and remain standing.
Ionas: *Weary* I'm still alive, so i'll say yes.
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* Can someone explain what is going on here?!
Yami: I was sensing a strange aura not too far away from here, so i followed it to see what it was and then saw this person, walking toward your home. I have never seen him before in this area, so i thought he was an assassin, and decided to take him down.
Ionas: *Confused* What aura, what assassin?! *Frustrated* I just went outside for a little walk, come on!
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* Yami, this is just a big misunderstanding, he is not an assassin.
Yami: He is not?
Kremant: But of course not.
Kremant appeared out of nowhere, surprising everyone.
Kremant: *Grin* He is their guest.
Rito: *Sweat Drop* Kr-Kremant!
Kremant: Present and happy for how things are evolving!
Yami: *Serious* You!
Yami takes a battle stance as soon as she sees Kremant.
Kremant: Eager for a fight as always i see, eh, Yami?
Mikan: Yami, you know him?
Yami: I met him the last day. I felt a strange aura in the air back then as well, and then saw him standing over the school's building, watching with a Grin full of mischief. When i tried to approach, he flew away. I was chasing him around the town, until he disappeared from my sight. When i felt a similar aura close by today too, i thought it was him again.
Kremant: And when you found Ion instead, you thought it was me in disguise. *Makes an "X" with his arms* Wro~ng!
Ionas: What?! *To Yami* That's why you attacked me?!
Yami: That is correct.
Ok, now i understand the "why".
Kremant: Anyway! *To Ion* I came to congratulate you, my friend!
Ionas: *Confused* Congratulate me? For what?
Kremant: Don't tell me that i'm the only one who noticed your first unlock!
Ionas: Eh?
When?!
Kremant: Remember when everything became red in your eyes during your last fight?
Everyone else look at him confused. Also yeah, i remember that moment. Everything was moving slowly, and i lost control over my body.
Ionas: So, it was a new power?!
Kremant: *Grin* Correct! And it's one of my favorites. I call it "Adrenal Activation". As the name suggests, it gives you the power to activate your own adrenaline at the highest level imaginable, enhancing your physical condition, durability, and senses in a level that in your eyes, your opponents are as slow as a turtle if not more. In this state, in your eyes you move normally, but for your opponents, you're so fast that it's almost impossible for them to fight back while you have it active.
Ionas: What a fearsome power...
Kremant: However, there is just one drawback in it. It drains much of your energy while remaining active, so if you use it for a long period of time, you'll be too weak to even move a finger. But, you will be able to move again after some minutes of rest. Because it was your first time, jokes aside, it affected your body in such way, that you were unable to control your movements, while it was active, and pretty much instinct took over. Don't worry, you'll have much better control over it the next time you use it. But until then, i suggest you to be really careful with it. Remember, you can always deactivate it whenever needed. Use it wisely.
He may be a bad person, but at least he informs me about how my powers work, to help me.
Ionas: Wait, and why was i seeing everything in red?
Kremant: Not pretty sure. Blood pressure maybe?
I'm not sure it works like that.
Ionas: So, anything else, or was that it?
Kremant: Now that you mention, there is something else i wanted to tell you as well. *Thinking* But i don't seem to remember.* Anyway, if there is anything else, i'll inform you in my next visit. B-!
Ionas: Wait! Yami mentioned something about an aura. Care to explain?
Kremant: Oh. You see, the energy you have, creates an aura around you, because of its great amount. The more energy you have, the more the aura grows, and when in use, the more easily it is tracked by those who have the means. And of course because I was the one who created this energy, we have similar auras. That's why Yami got so confused about.
Ionas: Ooh.
Kremant: Ok, that's enough from me. *Grin* For now.* Have a good day!
And like that, he vanishes from sight.
Mikan: *Sweat Drop* Seriously, that guy is so creepy, acting and vanishing suddenly like that...
Ionas: Well, at least we had a good explanation about- *In Pain* Ow!
My stomach still hurts after the punch i ate from Yami.
Rito: *Sweat Drop* Are you sure you're ok?
Ionas: I'm fine, no need to worry. I'll need to rest, though. *To Yami* Yami?
Yami: Hm?
Ionas: I know that we didn't start well, but let's not let a little misunderstanding get in the way. I'm Ion. I'm sure you remember me from the other time.
Yami: You're the tall guy who was with Kotegawa Yui the other day.
Ionas: *Smile* Yep, that's me!
Yami: Nice to meet you. Sorry for the trouble, i didn't know you were friends with Mikan and her family.
Ionas: It's ok. I mean, i would do the same if i thought that one of my friends was in danger. Also, i'm sorry for my uncontrolled attacking. I'm still new with these powers. Are you hurt?
Yami: The pain is only temporary, you don't need to worry about me.
At least nothing really bad happened.
Yami: Tell me, who is this Kremant exactly, and in what way you're associated with him?
Ionas: Long story.
I quickly explained about Kremant, and the story about what he did to me.
Ionas: And now i'm stuck in this universe, and planet, with no way back. *Smile* But, at least i made some good friends that helped me in my time of need. by giving me a place to stay.
Yami: I see. It seems that we have a powerful enemy to deal with.
Ionas: Maybe, maybe not. One is sure, *Annoyed* he is annoyance personified!
Mikan: Rito, you better go prepare for school. It is almost time to go.
Rito: *Sweat Drop* Ah, you're right!
Ionas: You can leave me. I feel strong enough to stand on my own already, no worries.
Rito: Alright, if you say so.
Rito let's me to stand on my own, and rushes into the house quickly, in order to prepare for school as soon as possible.
Yami: I must go as well. See you later, Mikan. Ion.
Yami grows wings, and flies away.
Mikan: *Smile* Bye Yami!
Ionas: See you around!
Mikan: I think we better get inside too. *Concerned* You sure you don't need a hand, Ion?
Ionas: If i fall down, it's a "maybe". *Somewhat Amused Chuckle* Ok, ok, just kidding, don't worry i can walk.
Before we could take a step, Kremant appears out of nowhere again in front of us, blocking our way.
Kremant: *Seemingly Serious* Not so fast.
Mikan: Huh?
Ionas: *Annoyed* What now?!
Kremant: Wait for it.
Kremant snaps his fingers and my clothes turn into a school uniform, same as the one the males wear in Rito's School.
Ionas: *Confused* What the- Why am i wearing a school uniform?
Kremant: *Grin* Because i remembered what i wanted to say.* You're going to school.
Ionas: ... *Real Surprised* EEH~?!

Ionas: *Sigh* I don't believe it. Even in this universe, even in this world, i still have to go back to school!
Lala: Yay! Ion will come school with us!
Ionas: Why god, why?!
