Only one period remains and we are free for the day. So close to the end! The previous periods passed calmly. For me at least. Rito was always in trouble due to his clumsy nature. He was always ending up falling and grabbing the private parts of the girls, by accident like always. I can't say the girls liked that very much. He received a lot of slaps so far today. From my view, that was pretty frigging hilarious to watch.
Ionas: *Amused Chuckling*
Poor guy. Despite silently laughing at him, i was always feeling bad for him at times. But, at least he has people who care about him, even if he is ridiculously clumsy. He is a very lucky guy considering that.
Rito: Hey, Ion!
Ionas: Hm?
I see Rito and a boy approaching my desk. That spiky black hair- Definitely that Saruyama guy.
Ionas: What's up?
Rito: I wanted you to meet one of our friends. Ion, this is Saruyama. Saruyama, this is Ion.
Saruyama: Nice to meet you, dude.
Ionas: Me too.
Saruyama: The school talks a lot about you from the moment you appeared, Ion.

Ionas: Oh right, i almost forgot about that.
Rito: Me and Saruyama were going to meet up with some other friends of ours. Wanna come along?

I get up, stretching for a sec while standing.
Ionas: I'll go for a walk on my own for now. Later.
And like that, i left the classroom, almost hit my head on the door's upper frame on the way out again, and start walking through the hallways. I'm still adapting in my new environment, and i still have some difficulties to accept a few things. At least i have a house to live in, new friends, and a power that makes me something more than a human. Oh yeah, and the knowledge of To Love-Ru. It might be helpful in certain situations. Though, i only know what i saw in the anime, not in the manga. This might be a problem in the future.
Lala: *Happily* Ion!
I look behind me, and see Lala approaching.
Ionas: Hey, Lala, how's it going?
Lala: *Smile* Great! You?
Ionas: Surprisingly, not so bad. I'm still adapting though, but i can say that i'm starting to get used to this new environment. In a few words: *Smile* I have a nice day on school.
Lala: *Happy* That's great! I'm happy you started to like the school!
Well, not really that much, but let's leave it at that.

We look the other way, and see Nana and Mea apporaching as well.

Ionas: Fine, i guess. I'm still kind of new with all this "Universal Anime Case", though.

Ionas: Yeah. And i have a somewhat hard time adapting to my new environment yet.
Lala: Oh come on, it cannot be that bad. I mean, the town here is nice, and the people are even better!
Ionas: You- *Realization* Actually, i haven't seen the city yet now that i think about it.

Lala: Then after the school, *Excited* we are going for a tour!
Ionas: *Panic* NO!
Lala: Huh?
Oops, i panicked there for a second.
Ionas: I mean, sorry Lala, but i think i'll choose someone else to show me the city. No offence but you're just too energetic and fast to guide me in a tour.

Ionas: Because unlike with the rest of the gang, she is the most trustworthy and reliable of them all. No offence to the rest, but i'll need someone i know i can rely on, to show me around. *Annoyed* And someone who will not start pulling me around like i'm some kind of a flag!
I said that last one while looking at Lala, with her looking at me confused, pretty much not understanding what i mean.
Ionas: So, what do you say, Nana? Will you show me the town? Only if you want of course, i will not force you into this.
Nana was thinking about it for a sec.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* Well, since you asked so nicely... *Seemingly Annoyed* Ok fine! I guess i can do that.
Ionas: *Smile* Thank you, Nana. Very nice of you.
She turns her head the other way, seemingly embarrassed.
Nana: *Blush* *Seemingly Annoyed* Do-Don't get the wrong idea! I'm just doing it because i have nothing else to do later! It's not like i'm doing this for you, or anything.

That tsundere attitude of hers... Must... Hold back my laughter...!
Lala: Are you ok, Ion?

I run away, going toward the men's bathroom as quickly as possible.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* What is his deal?
Lala: *Shrugs* No idea.
When i reach the bathroom and get inside, i burst into laughter.
~After The School~
After school came to its end, i was waiting for Nana outside of the school gate. I hope she hasn't forgotten about our little tour.
Kremant: That's how you call a date now?
Ionas: *Startled* Oh sh-!
Kremant appeared out of nowhere, leaning on the wall behind me with his arms crossed. One day these sudden appearances of his will be the end of me!
Ionas: *Realizes* Wait a moment- A date?
Kremant: Yes, a date. You know, when two people are going somewhere, chat with each other, maybe eating something together. *Grin* Oh yeah, and having fun. *Wink* If you know what i mean, of course.
Ionas: ... *Sarcastic* Ha, ha, very funny*. Let me tell you that those kind of jokes don't work on me. *Irritated* And that's, not, a date!
Kremant: It sure is. Believe me, i've seen this before many times already. It starts with a walk, continues with a nice heartwarming chat, and before you know it, you get closer to throw her in the bed! *Looks Supposedly At The Camera* The rest are known.
Ionas: *Upset* Shut your hole, you pervert!
Kremant: Pervert? Oh please, like i have any need for those kind of things anymore. Nah, just messing with the lives of the living is enough.
Ionas: *Confused* Of the living?

We were walking for quite a bit, with Nana showing me the places around. I saw shops, Cafes, restaurants, and a lot more. But i knew that we were only at the start of the tour. Along the way, i was thinking what Kremant said. About that date thing. How can he think something like that? Me and Nana? Just the thought about it is simply ridiculous.
Ionas: ...
I look at Nana and think about it for a moment.
Ionas: *Thinking* ...* Nope, definitely impossible.
Nana: Huh? What?
Ionas: Oh nothing, nothing. I was just thinking out lou- *Stomach Growl* ...

Ionas: *Rubs His Head In Embarrassment* Sorry. I haven't eaten anything all day long.
I was so anxious with my whole case today that i totally forgot to.

~A Few Minutes Later~
We found a restaurant and took our seats outside. I didn't want to become much of a burden to her, so i decided to just eat some rice in a bowl, and a glass of water. Nana decided to just have a glass of water for herself.

Ionas: Yeah. Why?
Nana: *Sweat Drop* Well... I thought you would eat something more, since you're... You know...
Ionas: *Somewhat Offended* Hey, just because I have a big body, doesn't mean that i must eat a lot all the time, you know!

But, because of reasons, i can't fully trust them on certain things. Take Rito as an example. A dependable, nice guy. But unbalanced. Always ready to fall when you don't expect it. Bringing trouble to himself and to others around him just like that. Kinda feel sorry for him.
Nana: Nah, you're right to not trust HIM. *Annoyed* That perverted beast doesn't deserve your sympathy.
She is always calling him that even if he is not really one. But, i better not argue about it. Safety comes first.

Ionas: *Raises An Eyebrow* You seriously need to ask me such a thing?* First of all, you showed me understanding and respect, even when you saw me and Mikado in a somewhat weird scene back there. And also, you came to comfort me when i was sad about my current situation. And if there is something i know, is to have a lot of trust for those who showed me kindness. For those who understood me. And for those who helped me unconditionally. And if i see that those actions of theirs are truthful and not a ploy, I can even consider them my friends. And to have someone i can depend on, is very important to me.

Ok, that was kinda funny. I might be too much of a troll with her tsundere case, but i'm not doing anything too terrible, so i will have a laugh with this bit at least.

After she paid for the rice, we continue our little tour through the city. We passed from many more places, and i can say that i'm starting to like how this town looks. Probably because of the anime colors. Don't know. Don't care.

I miss my friends back in the old Earth. I'm lucky that i was able to make some new friends here so fast, like Nana. What i know about myself, is that i always want a friend beside me. And even if Nana is rude sometimes, i enjoy her company anyway. Well, she is a tsundere, so that makes things more... Amusing.
Ionas: *Grinning and trying not to chuckle*
Nana: *Raises An Eyebrow* Why are you grinning about?
Ionas: *Smile* Oh, it's nothing, really. So, where are we going next?

The surprise was big, to say the least, for Nana and me. We saw three cloaked and hooded people, sitting on a couch, close to Mikado's desk where she was sitting at. The first had red-colored cloak and hood, the second blue, and the third one green. The red one had something that seemed like two curved, and clothed horns on his hood's sides. The blue one had a more feminine figure, with pointy shoulders, and her hood being long and curved backward. And the green one had a hood that looks like an inverted triangle. We could only see their eyes, which had the same color as the color of their clothes. But what really surprises us, was the fact that they looked to be similar to Kremant.
Mikado: *Smile* Oh, Ion, Nana-Chan. So you came indeed. These people here were expecting you.
The Green One: Please, allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Gnostis, *Bows His Head* pleased to meet you.
The Blue One: *Raises Her Hand High* *Happy* Hello there! I'm Agathe, nice to meet you too!

Ionas: Like the one Kremant mentioned the other day?
Gnostis: Exactly. As you already understand, those crystals were not ordinary. They were holding mysterious energies in them. And not the good kind.

Gnostis: As we learned, when one of those crystals touches the victim's body, it corrupts the soul within, destroying the body in the process. When the transformation is finished, we are no longer ourselves. We become the shadows of our former selves. Cursed to never rest. We even forgot who we were. We have almost no memory of our previous lives.

After Deinos said that, we notice a happy looking Agathe holding something that looks like a big golden trophy in her hands, representing a hand with the victory sign as gesture.

Ionas: It's one of their abilities. They can create anything they want, out of thin air. Well, at least that's what Kremant has demonstrated so far.

Gnostis: Not quite precise. Till now, only Kremant has shown to be able to create living beings.

Nana throws a punch on Deinos, but it passes through his "face", making Nana hit the wall behind him, and cracking it a bit.
Ionas: ...*Places A Hand On His Face* Punch the ghost.
So much for the warning. She stays motionless for a moment, before taking her hand fast away and shouting from pain as she holds it.
Nana: *In Pain* OUCH, OUCH, OUCH!
Mikado: Oh my.
Nana rubs her hand, trying to ease somehow the pain. Even with the Devilukean strength, something like that obviously would hurt.
Gnostis: *Somewhat Amazed* That's some impressively durable wall knowing their strength levels.
Deinos: You'd think that after trying the same thing on Kremant, she wouldn't be such an idiot to try again.
Agathe: *Upset* Deinos!
Agathe gets up from the couch, and goes close to Nana.
Agathe: Stand still for a bit.
Before Nana could react, Agathe places her hand above hers, emitting a blue light from it.
Nana: Hey, what are you-? *Alleviation* Oooh, that's a good feeling...
Pardon? Oh, i think i get it.
Agathe: And... Done!
The green light from Agathe's hand fades, and takes her hand away from Nana's. Nana seemed to be in surprise as she was looking at her hand.
Nana: My hand... *Sweat Drop* It's better! What did you-?
Agathe: Just a little healing of my own. It is useful when someone is injured or hurts.
Yep. That's what i thought.
Mikado: Very interesting.
Of course Mikado would say that.
Nana: Why you helped me?
Agathe: Because it's not nice when someone gets unnecessarily injured. And we didn't come here to cause any such trouble.
Ionas: Then you better put a leash on that dog of yours.
That moment, Deinos turns into a... Doberman Pinscher?
Deinos: What can i say? I'm quite the pinch.
Ionas: *Facepalm*
Worst. Joke. Ever!
Mikado: *Somewhat Amazed* Ooh, so you can change morphs too.
Deinos: Yep. We can turn into anything, anytime.
Deinos changes into his original form.
Deinos: Pretty nice, huh?
Mikado: You sure draw my interest.
Mikado seems to really enjoy learning more and more about these Reshaped. She is a researcher, so i guess it makes sense in a way.
Agathe: I want to apologize about Deinos's behavior. He is not so nice with the living.
Deinos: Hey, that's not true! I just can't stand people who always ask about the obvious. *Annoyed* It's just SO annoying!
Agathe: *Upset* That doesn't mean you must make them hit themselves onto walls!
Deinos: *Shoulder Shrug* Her fault, not mine.
Agathe goes close to Deinos, quite angry.
Agathe: *Upset* Now listen here you-!
That exact moment, Gnostis snaps his fingers and a big green bubble-shield appears from nowhere, surrounding Deinos and Agathe. It somehow prevents us from listening their intense conversation.
Gnostis: Their little quarrel might take some time, so this soundproof bubble will ensure our tranquility for now.
Ionas: *Somewhat Troubled* Just how many powers you Reshaped have?
Gnostis: It depends on the Reshaped.
Ionas: Wait, for real?
Gnostis: Every Reshaped is different. So and the powers their souls hold. "What i mean" you will ask. Well, by that i mean that when a human becomes like us, he/she becomes as strong as his/her soul. Some are weak. But some others, are powerful. The crystals that transformed us, cursed us with the inability to rest in peace. But, the power is inside in our souls, not in the crystals.
Wow, that's in a way deep.
Gnostis: A Reshaped can do almost anything if he/she is powerful enough. Almost anything you can imagine, for us it's possible to make or do.
Mikado: I see. I must say that your kind is quite fascinating. One question, though. What role the cloaks you wear have?
Gnostis: Cloaks? Oh no, these are not cloaks. They are our forms as ghosts. It is part of the curse. Why? No one really knows. But there are some of us who believe that this is some kind of seal that surrounds our soul. But in the end, we are just not sure.
Mikado: Not a bad theory actually.
Wait, i just thought about something!
Ionas: I have a question to make, and i hope you can answer THAT at least.
Gnostis: Tell me and i'll tell you.
Ionas: I want to know, what is the ACTUAL reason, that Kremant brought me on this world.
Gnostis: That's all? Kremant never said anything about it. I guess i can tell you freely.
Ionas: Really?
Gnostis: Really.
YES! At last i will learn the actual reason!
Ionas: *In A Hurry* Don't leave me like that! Tell me!
Gnostis: Certainly. The reason is-
Agathe: Gnostis!
Ionas: Eh?
Agathe comes out of nowhere, grabs Gnostis, and starts shaking him like crazy. When did she-?
Agathe: *Excited* They are throwing a party, they are throwing a party~!
Deinos: *Excited* Our friends from the Shadow Zone just called, and wants us to come too!
When did they come out of the bubble?!
Gnostis: *Excited* Really?! Then what are we waiting for?!
Excuse me?!
Gnostis: Let's go!
Ionas: *Troubled* Wait, what about-!
They vanished before anything else is said.
Ionas: ... *Loud Frustrated Groan*
I can't believe this! I was so close to learn the truth! And i lost my chance because of a party?! I was so angry at that moment that i actually got a headache!
Oshizu: *Sweat Drop* Wha-What's the matter?!
Ionas: *Places a hand on his face in pain* Do you have anything for the headache? My head is killing me.
Oshizu: *Sweat Drop* I-I'll bring a pill for the headache, and some water!
Oshizu leaves the room, closing the door behind her.
Mikado: Is your headache that painful?
Ionas: *Frustrated* It's not just the headache! I was about to learn the reason about why Kremant took me away from my home, and place me in this world for! Do YOU know how it is to be SO close to learn the big "WHY", and then suddenly a ridiculous event take your chance away, just like it was nothing important?!
Nana: *Sweat Drop* D-Don't you think you're overreacting a little, Ion-?
Ionas: *Angry* Overreacting?! *Tears Slowly Start To Fall From The Eyes* I lost my home, my family, my peaceful life, my friends, and even my literal world! And all that because of some supernatural jerk who decided to just take me away from them, against my will! Because of him, my family thinks i'm now dead due to what happened. And thanks to Kremant, i will never be able to see them ever again...
Silence fell in the room. Sad faces from both Nana and Mikado, after saying all this. Now i feel worse... I wipe the tears off my eyes, and try to remain calm.
Ionas: Look, you don't need to feel bad for me. Like i said before, "what happened, happened". I'm just mad that i still don't know Kremant's motivation behind all this. That's all.
That moment, Oshizu comes inside, bringing me what i asked for.
Oshizu: Here. Take the pill, and you will feel much better later.
Ionas: Thanks.
I take the pill, and drink some water to gulp it down. I hope it will do its work.
Ionas: At least we learned some things about those Reshaped.
Mikado: Yeah. They are quite a fascinating race i must tell. Never have i seen something similar to them before.
Ionas: Yeah, whatever. Oh, by the way, have you learned anything about those robots?
Mikado: I'm sorry, still no report about them i'm afraid.
Ionas: I see. Well, thanks for your hospitality, miss Mikado, but me and Nana still have a tour to finish, so we better go.
Mikado: Very well. Have a nice walk you two.
Oshizu: *Smile* Bye, Nana, Ion!
And like that, we left miss Mikado's clinic, and continue our tour in the town. Nana was surprisingly silent from the moment we left the clinic. Better check.
Ionas: Hey, Nana, is something the matter?
Nana: Eh?
Ionas: You seem a bit down. Is something bothering you?
Nana: *Sweat Drop* N-No, it's nothing like that, really!
I was staring at her, intensenly, knowing that she is not telling the truth.
Nana: ...
Ionas: *Even More Intense Staring*
Nana: *Sweat Drop* Fine, fine!* *Feels Bad* I still feel a little bad about earlier. I didn't really mean to-
Ionas: Nana, i told you i'm not angry for that! I'm just angry that i still don't know why Kremant brought me on this planet in the first place. Seriously, you worry too much about me.

Ionas: Ok, relax, miss tetchy.

Nana was a little annoyed, but at least she doesn't appear to be sad anymore. I think that's better. In a way. I feel my throat somewhat sore.
Ionas: Nana?
Nana: Yeah?
Ionas: I'm a little thirsty. Can you give me some money to go buy some water for the way?
Nana: Oh, sure.
Nana gives me a few Yen.
Ionas: Thanks. You want me to bring you one too?
Nana: I'm a little thirsty too. Fine, but don't be late!

And with that, Ion runs to go get some water. I can't understand that guy. At the beginning, he was sad about losing everything and everyone that was dear to him. But now... He just keeps saying that "What happened, happened" making it seem like no big deal anymore. How can he accept what happened just like that? If i was in his place i... I wouldn't know what to do. I would feel so lost...
Nana: ...
I really cannot understand him at all. Maybe... Maybe he is more hurt about it than he shows to be. Wh-Whatever, it's not like i care or anything.
?: Well, well, well, what do we have here?
Nana: Hm?
I look and notice three suspicious-looking guys coming toward me.
?1: *Smile* She is quite the cutie, isn't she, guys?
?2: *Smile* Yeah. Maybe we should hang out a little with her. You agree?
?1 And ?3: *Smile* Su~re.
They seem like perverts to me. How annoying. They stop in front of me.
?1: *Smile* Hey there, little girl! How about hanging out with us the big boys for some time?
Nana: *Annoyed* I don't have time for losers like you.
I was about to leave, when another one of those appears from the other side of the way, now having me surrounded.
?4: I'm afraid that we must insist.
Then immediately, he grabs tightly my arm.
Nana: *Really Annoyed* Hey! Let go!
?4: *Big Smile* You're going to have a LOT of fun with us, cutie.
Ionas: *Ahem*
Hearing that, I look behind the guy who grabbed my hand, and see Ion standing behind him, with crossed arms. The three behind me who notice him seem startled by his sudden appearance.
?1: *Sweat Drop* Umm... Boss?
?4: What?
?2: *Sweat Drop* B-Behind you...
He looks behind him and sees Ion, towering over him with his height.
?4: *Startled* What the-
As he sees Ion, the guy backs off a little, looking at him with surprise, while still holding my arm.
?4: *Sweat Drop* Dude! What the hell are they feeding you?!
Ionas: A lot, but that's not the point here. Now tell me. *Serious* What do you think you're doing there exactly?
The guy who was holding my arm looks at me for a sec, and then looks again back to Ion.
?4: You mean this? *Smile* I think that's none of your business, pal.
Ionas: *Serious* MY friend, MY business. *Real Serious* And unless you know what is good for you and your friends over there, YOU will leave her alone, before i lose my temper with YOU, "pal".
Ion has a very serious look on his face.
?4: Heh. You think you will scare us just because you're big, and that you play it all serious?
That moment, Ion strikes the guy in the face with his forehead, throwing him down while making him let my hand free.
Ionas: *Serious* How about i make your face meat then?
The guy who received the strike gets up, holding his face in pain.
?1: *Sweat Drop* Boss, are you-?!
?4: *In Pain* Argh! I think he broke my nose!
Ionas: The next one will have his skull broken! So... *Menacing Knuckle Cracking* Who's next?
?2: *Sweat Drop* This guy is crazy!
?3: *Sweat Drop* Let's get the hell out of here!
The other three run away, while the remaining guy was still trying to recover from the hit. He gets up and looks at his hand, somewhat in the blood of his nose.
?4: *Hateful* I'll remember this. This is not the end, you hear me?!
Ion raises his fist fast, startling the guy and making him run away like hell by that way.
Nana: ...
I... I actually don't know what to say.
Ionas: *Concerned* Are you ok, Nana?
Nana: *Sweat Drop* Huh? Y-Yes i am.
Ionas: *Relieved Sigh* Good to know.* People like those are quite dangerous.
Nana: *Annoyed* I'm capable of protecting myself! It's not like i needed your help, you know!
Ionas: I know that. But, i couldn't just stand there and do nothing, you know. You're my friend after all.
Nana: *Blush*
I turn my head away to hide my embarrassment.
Nana: *Blush* Wha-Whatever!* So, how come and you came back so quickly?
Ionas: I found a vending machine on the way, so it wasn't that difficult.
When he said that, he takes out of his pockets two bottled waters.
Ionas: Here.
He hands me one of the bottles.
Nana: Thanks.
Ionas: Don't thank me. The money was yours after all, so I must thank you.
Well, he is kinda right, but even so-
Ionas: Anyway, we still have a tour to finish.
He drinks some of his water, and then places his remaining bottled water back in his pocket.
Ionas: So? Shall we continue?
I may not understand him so well... But i can at least say that he is a good friend to have.
Nana: *Smile* Sure.
And with that, we continue our walk through the city.
~A Few Hours Later~
{Ion's POV}
The day quickly became night. Our big walk is finished, and we are about to reach Rito's house. Thanks to Nana, i learned the roads around the city just fine. Now i can walk outside whatever time i want, without worrying about losing my way back.
Ionas: Thanks for helping me learn the roads around, Nana.
Nana: It was nothing.
Ionas: I hope the others are not worrying for us, just because we are a bit late.
Nana: It's not that late, relax.
After some more walking, we reach the house and walk in.
Nana: We are back!
Ionas: Is there any food left?
Nana looked at me, with a somewhat annoyed face (Known and as the "Really" face).
Ionas: What? I'm starving.
Nana just rolled her eyes. As we look inside, we see Lala and Celine, sitting on the couch.
Lala: *Smile* Nana, Ion, you're back! How was your walk?
Nana: It was nice, i guess.
Ionas: Hey, Lala, where are the others?
Lala: Rito and Mikan were getting late, so Momo decided to go check on them.
Getting late this hour? Something doesn't seem right. Darn! I can't remember what happens in this part of the series. How could i forget?! I know that it's been long since the last time i saw the series, but still-!
Ionas: *Serious* Let's go search too.
Nana: Huh? Why? Momo is already on that.
Ionas: *Serious* The more the people, the best the chances!
Nana: But-
Ionas: *Real Serious* Our friends might be in danger, Nana! What happens if Momo is not enough to help? What if those Insectbots are watching them, ready to attack at any moment during the dark of the night?
Nana: ... *Sweat Drop* Ok, maybe you're right to worry.* We'll go too!
Ionas: Lala, you stay here just in case they return home.
Lala: Ok!
And like that, Me and Nana started our search for Rito, Mikan, and Momo. I know that i must not worry that much, but after the last events, i better be sure.
~After A Few Minutes~
We were searching here and there to find our friends, when i at last spot them. And oh boy. Things doesn't seem very good.
Ionas: Nana, i found them!
Nana: Where?
Ionas: There.
I said while pointing at the park in front of us, while crouching behind a cover to keep myself hidden. When Nana comes to see too, she was surprised with what she saw.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* What the...?
Yami was lying facedown on the ground. Mikan was close to her, having a blank expression on her face, obviously controlled, and Rito was also lying on the ground for some reason, somewhere not far from them. And there was also a woman with a blonde long ponytail and somewhat revealing clothing close to Yami and Mikan, who was also holding a whip in her hands. Wait a minute! Is that Azenda the tyrant? Oh! Now i remember the episode!
Azenda: *Mischievous* How admirable. You must care about your friend a lot.
When she said that, she looks at Mikan. She then raises her whip, attempting to strike her with it. Just the last moment, Yami gets in the way, and receives the strikes of the whip, one after another, with Azenda laughing while at it. Looking at that scene in reality is a lot worse than i thought. The strikes of the whip were tearing Yami's school uniform bit by bit. Why am i still standing here doing nothing?!
Ionas: *Serious* Nana, let's go. You handle Mikan, and i the space bdsm mistress-looking wannabe.
Nana: Not sure what you just called her, but yes, let's!
?: Not so fast, you vermins!
Nana: Eh?
We look behind us, and see someone landing on the ground not too far from us. It was that robot, B-R-29.
Nana: It's that robot again!
B-R-29: That's right! And this time, we will make sure that our mission, will be a total success!
Ionas: We?
The moment i said that, two figures appeared from the dark, and beside B-R-29. They were insectbots like him. But these ones seemed a little shorter than him. They must be at least two and a half meters tall. Each of them were carrying a spear-like weapon in their hands.
B-R-29: This time, i brought soldiers with me, just in case.
Ionas: Only two?
B-R-29: These two are just enough for the likes of you, worm. This time, YOU will lose the fight!
Ionas: *Serious* We don't have time for this! Nana, go help the others!
Nana: *Sweat Drop* And you?
Ionas: *Serious* I can defend myself! Now go!
Nana: Ok!
Nana was about to go, when suddenly an electric-like spark hits her.
Nana: *In Pain* AH!
After receiving the shot, she falls onto the ground.
Ionas: *Concerned* Nana!
I quickly go beside her, to see if she is OK. I notice no injury where she was shot.
Ionas: *Concerned* You alright?
Nana: *Struggling* I... Can't... Move...
Ionas: What?
I look at the Insectbots, noticing one of them pointing its spear-like weapon at Nana. Wait! That spear has a gun barrel on its end?!
B-R-29: Good shot, soldier!
Ionas: *Confused* What was that?!
B-R-29: Oh, just a little Stun Shot, to ensure she will not go anywhere she shouldn't. Good function, right? Oh, and as for you-
The second soldier shoots me in the torso just before that sentence is finished, paralyzing and making me fall onto the ground as well.
B-R-29: This time you will stay down, and do nothing.
My body is totally paralyzed! What am i gonna do now?!
B-R-29: *To Soldiers* Seize the princess! Let's end this mission quickly this time!
Insectbot 1: And the the other one?
B-R-29: *Thinking* Hmm...* He is too dangerous to just leave him alive. End him.
Insectbot 1: As you command, sir.
This is bad. The soldiers were coming. One to seize Nana, and one to finish me off. No! I will not let it end like this! I must get up and fight back!
Ionas: *Struggle* I... Must...
I was trying my hardest to move. I think it's working somehow. I must try even harder! The Insectbot was now standing in front of me. If i don't break free from the paralysis now, this will be the end for me, for Nana, AND for this planet and universe too!
Insectbot 1: Well, this was easier than i expected.
The Insectbot raises its spear above its head, ready to strike and finish me off. It's NOW or NEVER! I use all of my strength tο break free, and the moment the robot was about to pierce me with the tip of its spear, i get up a little and grab it the last second, stopping its attack.
Insectbot 1: *Surprised* What?!
Before it makes any move, i grab it from one of its legs, and use my Electric Palm on it. The insectbot stopped moving immediately, and it was pretty much out of order. I get up and look at the other insectbot, who was about to grab Nana. Losing no time, i lift the robot i deactivated and throw it straight at the other one, hitting it and knocking it down along with the other, and away from Nana.
Insectbot 2: *Troubled* What the-! Get off me!
While the insectbot was struggling to take out of the way the other insectbot that fell on it, i take the opportunity to quickly jump over them, land close to the downed one's head, grab its face, and use my Electric Palm on it like with the other one. After that robot was out of order as well, I go fast close to Nana. She was still immobilized by the paralysis, but other than that, she was ok.
B-R-29: Hey!
The moment i turn to look, i receive a metalic punch in the face, which threw me away and down onto the ground.
B-R-29: *Serious* Don't think that you won just because you defeated two of my soldiers! The real fight starts now!
I may be more durable than a normal human, but strikes like these still hurt! I get up, facing B-R-29.
Ionas: Alright then! *Cheeky* I just hope this time you will not teleport away like a coward!
B-R-29: Oh, don't worry. *Menacing* This time, i will not need to.
That was quite sinister-sounding. I must be careful for surprises. B-R-29 loses no more time and rushes toward me at high speed.
Ionas: *Surprised* Wha-?!
He was already in front of me, ready to throw me a punch, with me dodging it by moving to the side the last moment, and backing off a little from it, to keep my distance.
B-R-29: *Cheeky* Oh, what's wrong? Did my great speed scare you?
I don't get it. The last time i fought him, he was not that fast. How did he become so fast in just one day?! Scratch that! I need to end this fight quick, and go save the others as soon as possible!
Ionas: *Cheeky* Even with that speed, i don't expect a scrap metal like yourself to last for long.
B-R-29: You will not say the same once i finish you off.
Ionas: *Cheeky* Personally, i believe you will end up just like the last time. Broken and ready for the scrapyard. Your parts will make an excellent trash can.
B-R-29: *Offended* WHAT?! Ok, that's it, you're dead!
B-R-29 makes a quick leap forward and pulls its arms back, obviously preparing to punch me with all four of its fists. I stand on my ground and bring my arms in front of me to defend. Its four punches strike me, pushing me a little backward due to the force of the attack, but without breaking my defence.
Ionas: Bad move.
That exact moment, i step to the side while grabbing all its four arms within my own arms, pull them toward me strongly, raising the robot up in the air by that way, and then force it down at the other side of the ground currently behind me, making the said ground below the robot to crack from the impact.
B-R-29: *Seemingly In Pain* Oow!
Ionas: *Cheeky* Not so tough now, are we?
The moment i said that, B-R-29 used its four arms, which i was still holding, to throw me away, making me fall hard onto the ground by that way.
Ionas: *Somewhat Dazed* Deja vu.
I was about to get up, when suddenly something pushes me forcefully down onto the ground again.
Ionas: *Somewhat In Pain* OW!
I look up and notice B-R-29 stepping on me.
B-R-29: *Smug Smile* This time, i have you where i want.
Don't be so sure about it!
Ionas: Time to pull you out of the socket.
I bring one of my hands to its foot, and use my Electric Palm to put the robot out of order as well. But for some reason, it did nothing to it.
Ionas: *Extremely Confused* What! Why is it not working?!
B-R-29: *Smug Smile* Nice try. I expected you will use that against me eventually. So i made some improvements in my system, to protect it from the electricity.
Are you friggin kidding me?! How did they even know about it?! Not even a day has passed after unlocking this power!
B-R-29:Since your end is near, i might as well tell you about the fact that we have spies almost everywhere in this town. There is no way for something to happen and not know about it already, you foolish creature! And if improvements are necessary to deal with it afterward, then we simply do so if possible, and as SOON as possible. Anyway, i think it's time at last for you to say goodbye.
The robot raises one of its fists, ready to give me the finishing strike. This is going to hurt a lot.
B-R-29: This time, *Big Grin* I win!
Nana: Leave him alone!
That last moment, Nana comes out of nowhere and kicks the robot hard on its head, moving it off me and allowing me to get up. When up, i notice Nana above of the robot's head, continuously hitting it with punches.
B-R-29: *Annoyed* Why you little...!
The robot grabs Nana and throws her away, making her collide hard against a wall, cracking it from the impact, and then falling down onto the ground unconscious.
Ionas: *Concerned* Nana!
B-R-29: What an annoyance. This fly will have a harsh punishment once i move her to the you happen to know if Devilukeans need their tails on them to live?
Ionas: ...
This thing... Is frigging pissing me off! I turn around, facing the insectbot. Then, i start walking toward it.
Ionas: *Irritated* Listen carefully you giant piece of scrap. My days were not the best. For example, today i had to go back to school, forcing me to repeat the second and third year, once more. I forgot to eat for the whole FRIGGING day, because i was anxious with my strange case, and then i met some criminally annoying people who were acting like the town was theirs.
I was coming closer and closer, while the robot was trying to understand what i was talking about.
Ionas: *Irritated* And then YOU appear, once again, doing something that i hate with every fiber of my whole being.
B-R-29: Really? *Smug Smile* And what's that?
Before it could react, with a sweeping move of my leg, i strike both the robot's legs to lose its balance, making it fall on the ground. I then quickly move around, and close to its head, preparing to strike it with a strong kick.
Ionas: *Furious* MESSING WITH MY FRIENDS!
I kick it on its head with all my strength, having as a result to push the Insectbot's head inside into its neck collar, breaking some parts from the inside of the torso, and inflicting great pain, somehow, to the robot. Almost like the last time.
B-R-29: *Screams In Pain*
The insectbot holds its neck collar, as it struggles with the pain.
B-R-29: *Still In Pain* ARGH! Not again!
Ionas: *Serious* This is the last warning, bug-bot. If you dare hurt any of my friends ever again... *Menacing* I will make sure to break every single part of your rusty, metallic, body, the next time we meet, and end you for good.
The Insectbot gets up, and extends its arms to where the "out of order" insectbots are. It grabs them from around their bodies, and then withdraws its arms, bringing them close to it.
B-R-29: *Serious* This isn't over, human. Say whatever you want. We will never stop coming. We will continue until we take what we want. There is no hope for you, or your friends. And-
Ionas: Blah, blah, blah! *Annoyed* Just go back to your hole already!
B-R-29: *Extremely Annoyed* Grrr, i will definitely kill you next time... TELEPORT BACK TO THE BASE!
And like that, the three insectbots teleported away.
Ionas: *Concerned* Nana!
I run toward Nana to see how she is. Thankfully, she was still alive. Unconscious and with a few scratches, but alive. What a relief.
Ionas: *Remembers* The others!
I take Nana in my arms, and then run to where i saw Rito and the others last time. Thankfully, there was no problem anymore it seems. Momo apparently has already handled the situation herself. Azenda was down and unable to fight, and Yami, Mikan, and Rito were all ok. Yami's school uniform was almost in ruins, but at least no one appears to be truly injured. Just like in the actual series.
Ionas: *Smile* It seems i was anxious for nothing in the end.
I have forgotten some episodes from the series, so it was logical of me to be anxious for the situation. I feel like an idiot right now... Anyway, seeing that everything was fine, i approach them.
Rito: *Notices* Oh, Ion!
From the moment Rito notices me, the others turn to see me as well. Then, they notice i was holding Nana on my arms.
Momo: N- *Concerned* Nana!
Momo runs close to me and the unconscious Nana.
Momo: *Concerned* What happened to her?
Ionas: Well-
~An Explanation Later~
Momo: So that's what happened, huh? *Feels Bad* Poor Nana.
Ionas: Yeah.
Momo: *Smile* It seems that i must thank you once again, for saving my sister.
Ionas: You don't need to. It was thanks to Nana that i was able to defeat that thing again. SHE is the one you should really thank in the end.
Rito: Well, at least everything is ok now.
Ionas: I don't want to be annoying, but don't you think it is time to go back home? I'm famished!
Rito: Oh, right. We better get going. Lala and Celine must worry after being so late.
Yami: I must go as well. Goodnight, Mikan.
Mikan: *Smile* Goodnight, Yami! See you!
And like that, with a smile, Yami grows wings, and flies away.
Ionas: What a day.
I notice that moment that Nana was starting to gain her consciousness.
Nana: *Waking Up* Whe... Where am i?
Momo: *Relieved* Nana! Thank goodness, you're ok.
She looks around, and notices that i was carrying her in my arms.
Ionas: *Smile* Good to see you awake, "little princess".
Nana: *Blush* Wha-What do you think you're doing?! Let me down!
Ionas: Jeez. Ok relax, miss tetchy.
I let her down, and she looks at me angrily.
Nana: *Annoyed* I am NOT tetchy!
Ionas: *Sarcastic* Yeah right*.
Nana: *Annoyed* Grrr!
It's not easy to hide my smile. I find the moment pretty funny.
Mikan: It's good to see that you're alright, Nana-San.
Nana: Oh, *Rubs her head in embarrassment* sorry if i worried you.
Mikan: It's ok.
Nana: *Remembers* Wait! *Sweat Drop* What happened with that robot!
Ionas: Don't worry, we won the fight. I'll explain the details later. By the way, thanks for saving me back there when i was in trouble, Nana. *Smile* I really owe you one.
Nana: *Blushing And Looking Away* D-D-Don't mention it.
Ionas: *Stomach Growl* Ok, it's time to move on at last, everyone! There is a house that awaits us after all.
Also i'm terribly hungry...
Rito: Right! Let's go.
And with that, we start walking finally on the way for home. After what happened today, i understand that if i want to protect my new friends, i WILL have to start training. With those robots around, the least i can do is to become stronger. For my new friends and family!
