When an Island wide warning starts blaring the teens all meet up in the middle of the stands.
"Attention! All park goers must report to the south Ferry dock for immediate evacuation. The last Ferry departs in two hours." An announcement says.
"That's it? That's all we get?" Brooklynn says annoyedly.
"We have to move, the only way we'll make it is if we run." Darius tells the group who then looks at Yaz concerned.
"You should be more worried about Ben and Bumpy." She tells them.
"I'm fine, but naturally we have a problem." Ben tells them, taking out a map from his pouch.
We're here. The docks are all the way here, we can't possibly run fast enough to make it." Ben tells them, showing them the spots on the map.
"You don't know that." Sammy says.
"No, he's right." 10k tells them.
"Ok, so we need another way there. Can we somehow use that?" Darius asks, pointing at their kayaks.
"No, the water here isn't connected to anything else as far as I know." Kenji says.
"Hey, I know. We should befriend a unicorn. Let's face it guys. It's hopeless."
Brooklynn tells them, but moments later the monorail can be seen heading towards them.
"Monorail, what-what." Kenji cheers.
"Let's hurry." Darius says and the group runs up the stairs towards the monorail station, with Yaz being supported by 10k.
When Brooklynn, Sammy and Kenji run out of the stadium they see Toro standing to their right and hurry back, taking cover behind the stadiums wall.
When everyone reaches their position Darius and 10k look around the corner, seeing Toro trying to get into an empty garbage can.
Darius waits for the right opportunity and when Toro is looking the other way he dashes across, to the staircase of the monorail, where he takes cover while waving for the others to come over.
Kenji and Brooklynn are attempting to follow when they see Toro turn towards them and they run back to cover.
With Toro looking directly at the others' hiding spot and walking over to it Darius takes a rock that's lying around and throws it into a bush that's under the monorail's bridge.
When Toro heads towards the bush the others dash across, 10k still helping Yaz and they crawl up the stairs to stay out of sight, with the concrete railing being only waist high.
When 10k hears Toro's steps go directly towards Yaz, who's crawling just behind him, he grabs her carefully, pressing them both against the railing while motioning for her to stay quiet, the two of them being able to see Toro's snout peek over the railings edge before he walks away and they continue climbing up the stairs again.
Brooklynn, Sammy, Kenji and Darius all reach the top around the same time, with bump having run ahead of them, but shortly after the four get to the top and look to their three crawling friends in the middle of the stairs the monorails recording starts playing, catching Toro's attention, who then storms towards the stairs.
"Run!" Darius shouts and the three get up to run up the rest of the stairs while Toro is starting to climb the stairs behind them.
They narrowly escape the saurs first bite, before it slips on the stairs and falls forward and basically crawls up the stairs after them, more focused on snapping its jaw at them than climbing the stairs in itself.
The saur flops down again after snapping its jaw twice, shaking the bridge and making Yaz, who's the only one still on it fall down, crawling up the stairs backwards with Toros maw being within arm's reach.
"I got the doors!" Kenji shouts, standing in between the closing doors of the monorail, with Darius, Sammy and Brooklynn helping pry them open.
"Ben, get in." 10k yells, running back down the stairs, as he passes the blonde teen.
"Yaz, duck!" 10k yells and the limping girl makes herself as small as possible, while continuing to crawl backwards up the stairs.
"Run!" 10k then shouts, jumping over her and landing on the knocked over Toro's maw with both feet stomping down with all his power, making the saur slide down the stairs, but 10k goes flying over the railing's edge, managing to hang onto it with one hand.
He then tries to pull himself over the railing but is taking too long and he looks to Toro, who is getting back up, snarling at the stairs and yells, "Get out of here guys!" Before he feels Yaz's hands grab onto his arm, helping him climb back over the railing.
Once he's back on the bridge he sees Toro storm at him and Yaz again and quickly picks her up, carrying her in front of him while running to the monorail, where the others are holding the doors open for them, letting them close after the two are inside with them.
"You idiot! That was too reckless." Yasmina berates 10k, punching his arm while he's sitting on the ground exhausted, Yasmina still in his arms.
"Yeah, you're right." He sighs exhausted and feels Yaz's warm lips press against his cheek.
"Thank you." She tells him meekly, leaning into his chest gratefully.
"What and no thank you for Kenji, who held open the doors?" Kenji protests cockily.
"Thanks Kenji." 10k thanks him with a relieved nod.
"Yeah, well OK." The teens says, surprised by 10k of all people thanking him.
"Guys, I think we're safe now." Sammy says relieved.
"We were, until you said that." Kenji says.
"How's your foot?" Brooklynn asks Yasmina, helping her up from 10k's lap.
"I'll live, though I probably won't be running marathons for the time being." Yasmina replies, touching her foot gingerly after Brooklynn helped her to her seat.
"Phew. Guys, we did it. We're going home." Darius says relieved, staring out of the monorail's window before exchanging a look with everyone else, except 10k and the six of them start to cheer happily.
"Come on hero, lighten up." Brooklynn tells 10k, tapping his extended feet with her own, while he's still sitting on the floor of the train.
"We're still a few miles away, a bit early for a victory celebration, don't you think?" 10k asks her, looking at the pinkette, a worried expression on his face.
"Come on a little celebration never hurt anyone." Brooklynn says.
"And I have just the stuff for it." Ben exclaims, holding out six candy bars.
"Here, I'll share with you." Brooklynn says, breaking off half the bar.
"Thanks." 10k says, accepting the food.
And takes a bite, same as everyone else.
"Ben. Someone took your candy bars and put dirt in them." Sammy says, spitting out the food, same as everyone else but 10k and Ben himself.
"You like this junk?" Brooklynn asks 10k shocked.
"No, but who knows when we'll come across food again." 10k tells her.
"Party pooper." The onlinestar says, before taking a seat next to Yasmina.
"Well I for one cannot wait to be home. Once my ankle healed up it's back to training, with a new sponsor of course, since my current one is jurassic world..." Yasmina tells the group, going back over to 10k, handing him the rest of her bar while sitting down next to him with her juice pouch with carob juice, which Ben also distributed.
"It's going to be weird for things to get normal again, like are videogames going to be boring now?" Darius says.
"What about you Kenji? What'll you do when you get home?" Darius asks.
"Depends which wing of our mansion you're talking about... But dad and Candy are away on a trip, so I'll probably go bowling in our bowling alley." Kenji says, realizing that he's rather lonely.
"So, what have you missed Ben?" Sammy asks the blonde teen.
"Obviously restock." Ben chuckles, patting his fanny pack.
"Hey guys. I found the first thing that works." Kenji says, twirling around a flashlight and turns it on.
"I still can't believe how much went wrong." Brooklynn says chuckling.
"Yeah, like the handful of times we almost got eaten." Yasmina agrees.
"Let's all raise our carob juice and toast to not getting eaten." Darius says and everyone raises their box before taking a sip.
"Here." Yasmina says, pushing the carton towards 10k, who shrugs his shoulder before downing the contents in one go with a shudder going down his back.
"To no more running away!" Brooklyn toasts, but no one tries to take another sip from the bad tasting juice.
A loud boom is then heard in the distance, shaking their monorail.
"What was that?" Brooklynn asks dreadful.
"An explosion, but it wasn't nearby." 10k tells them, getting up from his seat on the floor before pulling Yasmina up after himself.
"We're still OK." Darius says, trying to calm everyone, but they are looking down doubtfully.
"Hey, I know Camp wasn't what anyone wanted it to be, but at least we're going out of this with 6 new friends." Sammy says trying to lift the mood but is only to be met with awkward silence.
"Guys? Wait, do you not see us as friends?" Sammy questions surprised.
"Doesn't it usually take more than a few days to become friends with someone?" Brooklynn says.
"We were thrown together at random. We have nothing in common." Yasmina agrees.
"That can't be true. We've been through more than most friends will in a lifetime." Sammy says.
"But now that it's over, what are the odds we'll ever see each other again?" Ben asks her and the group falls back into awkward silence.
"What about you 10k?" Yasmina asks, looking at him with everyone else.
"What about me?" He asks not getting the question.
"What are you going to do when we get out of here?" She asks.
"I don't know, I'm sure I'll find something, though I may not get rid of Masrani as easily as you Yaz." He tells them.
"What do you mean?" Brooklynn asks.
"Well, I owe him. He got me out of a bad situation and this job was supposed to be my way of repaying him for his help." 10k says with a sigh.
"Bad situation?" Darius asks before their attention is shifted to the monorail which shakes as though it got hit by something.
"What was that?" He asks, storming into the last compartment with everyone else and looks out of the back window, squinting his eyes since darkness is already falling around them.
"Guys… We gotta turn of the lights!" He shouts, grabbing Kenji's flashlight and jumps onto a seat, hammering at the lights shining from above until it breaks.
When he manages to smash the very last light the group can see a whole flock of flying Dinosaurs heading for their train.
"Pteranodons are attracted to shiny moving objects. Meaning us right now." Darius tells them.
Everyone but Yasmina and Ben then take a flashlight, since there are only five in total.
"Yaz. Get on." 10k tells her, patting his shoulders and the girl follows his directions, sitting down on his shoulders while he hands her the flashlight.
"Hammer away." He tells her, standing up so she can reach the lights without the two of them having to climb onto chairs like everyone else is doing.
"We got this compartment, let's move onto the next." Darius tells the group, opening the door to the neighboring compartment and rushes through it with Kenji and Brooklynn directly behind him.
10k kneels down, so Yaz can walk and he helps her across the passage to the next compartment, while Sammy helps Ben get Bumpy through once the two made it through.
"Same thing again."10k tells Yaz, who wastes no time getting back on the kneeling teen's shoulder and the group starts to knock out the lights in that compartment as well while the raptors are crashing into the train from all sides, cracking the windows every so often.
When the group gets to the last compartment, right behind the driver cabin, which is empty, running on autopilot they hear another boom and can see the burning wreck of another monorail sitting in their way to the south docks.
"If we don't switch tracks or stop this thing right now we're going to hit that thing at full speed." Darius tells everyone while they are tacking out the last lights.
"At the front of the car, that's the control station." Kenji shouts and Darius rushes over, trying to get in but the door is locked and he can't smash the small window with his flashlight.
"That's reinforced. It won't work. The only way is around it, from the outside." 10k tells everyone while he lets Yaz off his shoulders and points to the small hatch on the trains roof.
"I'll do it!" Darius says, running towards the hatch, but the train shakes and he falls down. In the short time he's down, Ben gathering his nerves is already through the hatch, yelling to them "I'll do it. For Bumpy!"
"We have to help him." Darius says panicking.
"Can we use the flashlights to keep them away from him?" 10k asks, turning his light on and shining through a window, making a saur fly right against the window panel.
"Yeah, that'll work, come on everyone get them away from Ben!" Darius shouts, leading the charge, running towards the back of the train while waving his flashlight.
"Yaz, you stay with Bumpy." 10k tells the hurt girl, getting a nod positive in reply.
Ben gets to the control station safely and starts hitting any possible button and pulling on every lever and luckily one of them switches the train's tracks, making them swerve to the right rails while skidding along the wreck of the other monorail.
Once they got past the wreck everyone shuts off their flashlights and rejoins Yaz in the front compartment, waiting for Ben to exit the control station.
They only have to wait a few seconds before Ben's smiling face shows itself through the now opened door.
"I did it guys!" He cheers happily, when all of a sudden a Pteranodon crashes through the window next to him and grabs onto the skinny teen while flying towards the next window, breaking it with its beak. Darius manages to grab onto Ben with both hands, but is also slowly getting dragged towards the busted window with the Pteranodon trying to fly away with Ben.
"Help! Darius!" Ben yells panicking.
"Hold on." Darius grunts, trying his best to stay aboard the train and just when he's reaching the edge of the train's side 10k arrives next to him, grabbing onto Darius and a pole in the trail, pulling the teen back inside, while he's holding onto Ben.
When the Pteranodon sees a tree coming up towards him he drops Ben, who down, now dangling over the trains edge with Darius holding him by his arms.
"Kenji, spot Darius!" 10k shouts, holding onto the teen, before the Asian teen takes his spot.
"Ben, grab on!" 10k yells, sliding to a halt next to Darius, leaning over the trains edge, while wrapping his legs around a metal pole in the compartment.
Ben manages to grab onto 10k's hand with some difficulty. 10k and Darius then pull the blonde teen back aboard the train, all of them lying on the floor.
"Back to the other compartment!" 10k tells them quickly and the three dash over to the dark compartment behind the control station.
"You guys OK?" Sammy asks them, while Bumpy comes over, nuzzling Ben.
"I'm good, just a few scrapes. You Darius?" 10k replies, looking at the afro-american teen.
"I'm good too." He says, checking his arms, relieved that he didn't get hurt by the broken window's glass.
"I'm fine too. Thanks you three." Ben thanks the other males of the group, pulling them in an awkward hug.
"No prob." 10k says, before he looks outside.
"Guys, we have a problem." He tells them.
"Again?!" Brooklynn screeches pissed off.
"Afraid so, we're going away from the docks. This track does a loop and goes back towards the Lagoon." 10k says, pointing at the split in the tracks up ahead, where they just escaped crashing into the other monorail.
"Great." Brooklynn says annoyed.
