"Kenji, can you switch the tracks?" Darius asks and the Asian teen rushes to the control console, hitting any possible button without any change.
"The thing which tried to take Ben must've wrecked the controls." Kenji says worriedly.
"Then we have to get off this monorail, now!" Darius tells them.
"The track dips down up ahead, we can jump there." Brooklynn tells them, looking out a broken window.
"Jump?" Ben and Sammy asks worried.
"We can't it's too far." Yasmina says.
"It's our only way, or do you want to head back to Toro and miss the Escape boat?" Darius tells them.
"Darius is right everyone. And we have to take this chance, because there isn't another space where the tracks are so low above the ground for at least 4 miles." 10k agrees.
"Come on, to the window everyone. We can all fit through here together." 10k says, joining Brooklynn at the broken window she was looking out of.
"One, two, three. Now!" Darius counts down, before all of them jump out almost simultaneously with Kenji having taken Bumpy in his arms.
The group crashes through the treetops, some branches slowing their descent before they all roll downhill and crash against some trees.
"Is everyone alright?" Darius asks.
"Ish." Brooklynn says, getting up with Yaz, who landed right next to her.
"Bumpy! Bumpy!" Kenji shouts.
"Where is Bumpy?" Ben asks worriedly.
"I lost her when we hit the ground." Kenji replies.
"We have to go looking for her!" Ben insists.
"Ben… There is no time." 10k tells him.
"What are you talking about? She can't be further away than a couple dozen feet." Ben says.
"That may be true, but if we drag her along behind us again, we definitely won't make it. You know I'm right about this." 10k tells says.
"So what? We're just going to leave her behind?" Ben shouts angrily.
"Well… I am. My focus is on getting us out of this mess." 10k says, pointing around the circle of 7 people.
"Fine, then… Go without me. I won't abandon her." Ben yells, stomping off.
"Ben…" Sammy shouts, trying to stop him.
"Guys, we have to leave now. No more getting side tracked." 10k tells them, crouching down in front of Yasmina and nodding for her to climb on his back.
"Let's go!" 10k says, leading the group away while giving Yasmina a piggyback ride, with most of the group looking in the direction Ben disappeared to worried.
"We can't just leave him there." Darius protests after a minute or so of them walking in awkward silence.
"We can and have to. He made his own choice." 10k says in a cold voice.
"Attention, all parkgoers must report to the south Ferry Dock for immediate evacuation. The last Ferry departs in 60 minutes." An announcement can suddenly be heard in the distance.
"We have an hour, let's go back and…" Sammy says, agreeing with Darius.
"We can't go back for Ben. Don't you get it? There is no time. We won't even make it to the Docks on our current way within an hour." Brooklynn shouts sorrowfully.
"Stop wasting time by talking about this. We have to hurry." 10k says annoyedly with Yaz looking at him worried from above, seeing the panic in his eyes and feeling the sweat pour down his body.
"10k. Let me down. If I can't keep up on my own… then I won't make it but I can't slow you all down like this." Yaz tells him with a heavy heart.
"Shut up and think of a shortcut." He grunts back in reply, tightening his grip on her thigs, almost painfully so.
"Shortcut! Kenji, the tunnels." Darius shouts, everyone having been able to overhear Yaz's and 10k's conversation.
"There has to be a maintenance tunnel that leads to the docks right?" Darius asks the oldest of the group.
"Kenji, is he right?" 10k asks, turning to the teen, who is looking in the direction Ben disappeared to as if in a trance.
"Yeah. There is." Kenji finally says after a few seconds to get his head back in the game.
Moments later everyone is in the tunnels with 10k again carrying Yasmina on his back and they follow Kenji's lead as the teen runs down the tunnels.
"Are we sure Mr. MVP knows what he's doing?" Brooklynn asks.
"Kenji took me down here before. Just trust him." Darius tells her.
"Everything looks all different with the lights all freaky like this!" Kenji shouts panicking when they stop at a gate.
He leads them down another corridor, which is also blocked by a gate.
"What? This wasn't here before." Kenji says shocked.
"Why are there so many security gates?" Yaz asks, voicing everyone's anger.
"The evacuation. The park must be locking down automatically!" Brooklynn tells them.
"Brooklynn is right. The problem is, I don't know what the protocol for all of these are, so I can't lead us around the gates." 10k agrees.
"Screw it, we'll just have to go around it!" Kenji shouts angrily and leads them down a different way yet again, coming to a halt in front of yet another security gate. Seeing a door to their right Kenji tries to open it somehow, but it's bolted shut. While he's doing this, Sammy and Brooklynn are looking through some lockers until they find an electro-shocker staff.
"We can use this." Brooklynn says.
"To bust open this door?" Kenji asks freaking out due to their cornered situation.
"No, as a crutch." Brooklynn replies while 10k is letting down Yaz, who accepts the staff, using it as a walking-stick.
"Thanks." Yaz thanks the two girls, giving Brooklynn a hug while only glancing at Sammy.
"Uhm, Kenji Darius. The way we came from? Where does that tunnel end?" Sammy asks the two worriedly.
"It opens up into the park I'd guess, why ar…" Kenji replies before they hear a screech coming from their side.
"Alright, where do we go?" 10k asks, stepping in front of the group with his knife at the ready.
"I don't… I don't know." Darius says losing hope.
"That, that are just Compys." Darius says relieved when the shadow on the wall turns out to be some of the cat sized Dinos.
"Uhm, it's not alone." Yaz tells them, pointing at the whole herd of small saurs, maybe 15 alltogether.
"That's not good. In a croup Compys can…" Darius says worriedly.
"They're not our problem. They're scared of something…" 10k tells them, seeing the Compys walk past their feet in a hurry.
The six of them then hear a loud roaring echo through the tunnels and the Compy take off in a matter of seconds with Toro walking around the corner the Compys originally came from.
"Go, go, go!" 10k shouts, taking the rear of the group while gripping onto his knife tightly as the group follows Kenji down some tunnels.
"Do you even know where we're going?" Brooklynn shouts while they are running away from the Carnosaur.
"You want to stop and ask him for directions?" Kenji shouts back in reply.
The group runs down a few more corridors, managing to put some distance between themselves and Toro, due to it being bad at turning.
This continues on until they stumble upon a large Vent opening, where all of them cram into.
"We can't stay here. The Ferry…" Sammy says quietly while Toro runs past them and searches for them in another corridor.
"Shh." Yaz shusses them and crawls down the Vent with Darius, coming to another opening not too far down, which has white streaks of light pouring through its openings.
The two nod at each other and try to push it open, but it doesn't work. They then try to use the shocking staff to ram it open, causing a lot of noise.
Moments later Toro busts through the Vent opening they entered and tries to eat the person sitting closest to the opening, which turns out to be Brooklynn.
"Brooklynn!" 10k shouts, giving her his hand, which she quickly accepts while trying to crawl backwards away from the Dinosaur and 10k yank on her hand, pulling her further into the Vent just as Toro would have managed to catch onto her leg.
Yasmina and Darius try to pry open the other Vent side again, succeeding with Kenji coming to their help.
"Quick!" Darius yells while everyone rushes past him, with him holding the staff at the ready if Toro would manage to squeeze through the Vent.
"Guys, look!" Sammy shouts happily while everyone was breathing heavily after escaping from the Vent.
"Exit to Dock 1000 feet!" Darius shouts happily and everyone runs down the path they came out of, ending up in front of closed Dock doors.
They try to find some kind of exit, but everything is locked down.
"There's gotta be a door!" Kenji says panicking.
"There is no way out. They must've sealed it off after the park was finished." Brooklynn tells them.
"Can't anyone associated with this place make just one good decision?!" Yaz curses angrily.
The group then hear a loud roar echo down the hallway and look towards the direction they came from with panic.
"Darius, what do we do now?" Kenji asks, while Darius is leaning against the sealed up dock doors defeated.
"I don't know." Darius says.
"But you always know." Sammy says.
"Leave him be. Think for yourself guys, he's been the groups crouch enough already." 10k berates the others, picking up a 5 feet long metal bar, going towards the large opening they originated from, giving Brooklynn his backpack as he passes her.
"hang onto that will ya?" He says, trying to come of as calm, but is in reality terrified and grasping at straws, hoping to find a way to hold off whatever is heading for them.
"I'm just a Dino-nerd who was good at a videogame. I'm no good at this." Darius tells the rest of the group disappointed.
"But you are. None of us would have known what do to Darius, it's only because of you and 10k that we managed to survive this long." Kenji tells them, looking towards the teen who's standing a yard away, trying to set a trap for the Dino heading for them.
"He's right. You kept us all together." Sammy says.
"We're a team. We're your team." Yaz agrees.
"Things fall apart and that's OK right? Because when that happens…" Brooklynn says, trying to remind him of his own, and his fathers words.
"We pick up the pieces and keep going." Darius says, calming down somewhat and turns to his new friends.
"Let's see what's in these crates." Darius says and they open some crates that are nearby, finding medical equipment, consisting of pressurized oxygen.
"Kenji, Brooklynn let's get this crate onto that cart! Sammy, use those Bandages and tape to make a fuse. And we're going to need something to light it with." Darius instructs everyone.
Yaz activates the shocker of the staff, showing the crackling lightning between the contacts.
"Here." 10k says, hurrying over with some rubbing alcohol that was in another box.
"We'll need this to light the fire." He tells them, helping Kenji, Brooklynn and Darius load the box onto the Cart.
Not long after they finished seeting up their makeshift bomb Toro enters the Docks, peering around the large hall.
"Light it up." Darius whispers while everyone is hiding behind the crate and cart with Toro standing on the same side of the pier, very slowly making its way towards them.
"Yaz activates the staff on the end of the fuze, lighting the fire.
"Now!" Darius yells once the fire has been started, with 10k yelling "No!", trying to stop them but Darius and Kenji, who were leaning against the crate have already pushed it towards Toro, who runs towards the moving object, shattering the crate and throwing the air containers around the Dock harmlessly.
"Run everyone! To the other side of the Hall!" 10k shouts, pointing to the opposite pier with a small fire burning in front of them, harmlessly around Toro, it only being parts of the burning wooden crate.
Toro roars and runs toward sthe group, who run to the side, making the large Dino crash into a cargo container head first.
It then swipes its tail at the group, who are taking cover behind two stacked crates and he knocks the first one off into the distance with 10k barely beign able to pull Brooklynn's head down before the tail passes over them.
The saur then focuses on Kenji, trying to eat the Asian teen who rolls into the tracks of the pier and climbs over the divider not a moment too soon with Toro's mouth snapping behind him the whole time.
The saur then runs towards Sammy and Brooklynn, who are trapped against the closed doors of the bay and Sammy follows Kenji's example, making her way across the tracks while 10k rushes over to Brooklynn, tackling her into the tracks of the pier, both of them landing on the concrete below hard.
"Sammy, help her over!" 10k bellows, already getting back on his feet, seeing Darius try to help Yasmina away from Toro with Yasmina's clanging of the walking stick catching the beasts attention.
"Darius, get Yaz and yourself out of there!" 10k shouts, seeing the 5 foot bar he found earlier lying on the ground behind Toro. He quickly jumps back onto the pier and runs towards the bar, grabbing onto it moments before Toro slams him against a wall with the end of his tail, knocking the wind out of him momentarily.
Darius manages to distract Toro, by throwing a piece of wood against its head while Yaz hurries ove the tracks of the dock, getting helped onto the other side by Kenji.
"Darius! 10k!" The group shout worriedly, seeing Darius run away from Toro with it being hot on his tails and 10k getting up from the wall he crashed against, bleeding from a cut over his left eye.
The younger of the two manages to throw himself into the track of the dock, before accepting the others help in getting up onto the other pier.
Toro chased him into the tracks and runs into some of the oxygen containers, making them crash against the outer dock doors with three of the nozzle's opening.
"Guys, run away!" 10k shouts, running towards Toro with an angry expression on his face.
He jumps at the saur from behind, stabbing it with the bar, impaling its leg a few inches deep, making the beast roar as it goes down, falling over on its side.
"Run, what are you waiting for?!" 10k shouts, grabbing onto the bar he rammed into the trashing saurs leg, letting go of it when the creature manages to pull it out with its mouth and fling it off to who knows where.
"10k, look!" Darius shouts, pointing at the open oxygen containers only a handful of feet away from him and Toro.
"Come on, come and get me!" 10k challenges Toro, stabbing it in the same leg as before with his knife while jumping over the saur, barely jumping out of its maws reach before he starts to parkour over some of the knocked over crates until he's standing in line with the Dock's door, waiting for the enraged Dinosaur to charge at him.
Only two seconds later Toro is back on his feet and running toward 10k who quickly jumps up to Kenji's offered hand and the teen pulls 10k up to the pier, behind some metal crates with everyone else and Yaz steps out from behind the cover shouting "Leave my boyfriend alone!" while throwing her walking help at the oxygen container, causing a massive explosion while she dives back to the group for cover.
"Is everyone OK?" Brooklynn asks coughing while the smoke settles.
"I think so…" Darius says.
"Yeah." Yaz says.
"We did it!" Kenji cheers before they see Toro rise out of the smoke, burned red skin patches sticking out all over its body as it whines sorrowfully.
It looks at the group for a few moments before it takes off, limping away.
"Yeah! That's what you get!" Darius cheers loudly with everyone else.
"Here, let me help you." 10k tells Yasmina, stepping next to her and putting her arm around his shoulder to support her.
"No, no, no. I'll do it." Brooklynn insists, pushing 10k away from Yaz.
"Guys! Look." Sammy then says, pointing at an opening to the outside which got blasted off the doors from the explosion.
"Let's go!" Kenji shouts excitedly and they hurry out of the building before rushing towards the bay, only to see every Ferry gone from their spot.
"They're gone." Darius says.
"They'll be back for us won't they?" Sammy asks worriedly.
"Of course they will and until then we have each other." Darius replies.
"Hah, sorry guys. I failed you all. I promised to get you on that boat…" 10k apologizes to everyone guiltily, slumping down at the bays edge, feet dangling over the water.
"10k…" Yaz says worriedly.
"Hey man. You've already done more than you should have had to." Kenji tells him, joining him at the edge of the dock, overlooking the sunrise across the ocean.
"He's right. Without you we wouldn't have gotten anything done." Darius agrees, sitting down beside Kenji.
"Yeah. We're all in your debt." Sammy says, sitting down next to Darius.
"Not to mention the countless times you threw yourself into the line of fire for us." Brooklynn agrees, sitting down next to Yasmina, while she takes a seat next to 10k.
"And it's not over yet. We're all still alive thanks to you, so you'll just have to try and get us on the next Ferry." Yasmina says, turning his face towards her and gives him a gentle kiss.
"Thanks guys. I just thought I… We could make it." He says, brushing one hand over Yasmina's shoulder while turning back to the Ocean.
"So what now?" Kenji asks, turning to 10k and Darius in particular.

To be honest I haven't decided on that yet, so far I'm holding my options open whether I go ahead and think of my own version, or wait for the next season to be released or maybe do both.
