Scratchansniff and Hello Nurse plodded along the dark, musty corridors of the underground lair. Most of the passages seemed to have been repurposed maintenance and electrical tunnels made of brick. Though some of the brick tunnels connected to more modern cinder block passageways. For the most part, the corridors were dimly lit by old work lights, though some were pitch black. The two made sure to avoid these at all costs as they were unsure how long their flashlight would last.

The tunnels continually branched off into more spiraling, maze-like paths that seemed to loop back on themselves and leave both Hello Nurse and Scratchansniff even more confused. They stopped at a crossroad they were almost certain they had been in before. One path branched off into a brick tunnel lined with pipes. The other turned into a cinder block corridor with electrical wire running alongside it.

"Where are we going?" Scratchansniff pleaded, his voice become increasingly more desperate.

Hello Nurse glanced down each path, shaking her head, "There has to be another exit. I'm sure of it."

Scratchansniff paced around the area, muttering to himself about how he wished he hadn't come. Suddenly, a crackling noise came from his back pocket. He pulled out the Geiger counter and pointed it around until the crackling became an almost steady noise. There on the floor was a puddle of dried blue gunk, flowing down from a darker corridor the two hadn't noticed before.

"That blue liquid." Hello Nurse said, "Seems to be a stream of it coming from there."

Scratchansniff gulped, "Please don't tell me we're going to follow it."

"We're going to follow it." Hello Nurse repeated, "It may lead us to some clues. Remember, we're still here for evidence."

She took out the flashlight and made her way down the tunnel. Scratchansniff followed behind nervously. They walked for a while, following the trail of blue liquid. More of it streamed forth down the hall; some of it even began to turn a slight purple.

"W-why is it purple?" Scratchansniff asked.

Hello Nurse stared at it. Perhaps it was just the dirt mixing in with it. Though that wouldn't make much sense...

Unless the dirt was a pure red.

A sense of unease started to settle in her as she led the way.

They finally reached a door. This one did not have a keypad. It was incredibly old and rusty. As Hello Nurse tried to open the door, it creaked loudly and would barely budge. Scratchansniff came to her aid and helped her push it open. As soon as the door was pushed open, they were met with a hot, pitch black room. They saw a puddle of the blue stuff glowing in the corner, surrounded by a small mass of... Something.

They stepped into the room, making sure to keep the door propped open. Hello Nurse waved her flashlight around, her sights immediately settling on a massive, steel machine. She furrowed her brow.

"What in the world is this?" She asked, "It feels hot... An oven maybe?"

Scratchansniff went to investigate the puddle in the corner of the room. The Geiger counter was going nuts as he got closer and closer to the source of the puddle. Hello Nurse noticed from the corner of her eye that the puddle wasn't blue, but rather a sickly shade of purple... A panic welled up in her, which was only confirmed when Scratchansniff let out a terrified scream, running back to where Hello Nurse was.

"Wh-what is it?!" She demanded, trying to keep her voice steady.

Scratchansniff could barely get out the words. He was shaking uncontrollably, "A...! A-a-a...! A-! A h-h-hu-!"

Hello Nurse grab him by the shoulder and shook him, "What?! What did you see?!"

Scratchansniff swallowed hard, "A...! A human...! A human arm!! A severed human arm!!"

As soon as he said these words, the door slammed shut, Hello Nurse's flashlight went out, and the sound of devilish laughter filled the air. Before them, the huge metal machine began to flare to life, blasting the room with heat and light. There, on top of the incinerator stood Yakko, staring down at them with a crazed look in his eye as the flames of the machine rose up around him.

"Welcome..." He rumbled deep in his throat, "To your worst nightmare!"

The flames burned brighter, forcing Hello Nurse and Scratchansniff into the corner furthest away from them. Yakko threw his head back and laughed maniacally, relishing in their fear. However, this intimidating sight was quickly diminished when Yakko lost his footing and fell off the incinerator, landing face first on the floor. From behind Hello Nurse and Scratchansniff came hysterical laughter. They turned around and saw the ghostly form of Dot wheezing with laughter at her brother's prat fall.

"I told you, standing on the incinerator was an awful idea!" She cackled, now crying and laughing.

Yakko sat up slowly, groaning with either pain or embarrassment, "It would have been perfect if you didn't turn the lights off so soon!"

Dot was still giggling, "No dear brother, that wasn't my fault. That was all you!"

Yakko sneered as he stood up again, brushing off his lab coat. He then turned to the two humans and smiled, "If you'll excuse my sister's rudeness and her sabotaging my grand entrance... Welcome, expected guests, to our humble abode!"

As he spoke, Yakko picked up the arm sitting in the corner of the room and examined it. It was leaking both blood and the blue stuff from the severed end, as if it was still relatively fresh, "You see, my siblings and I have been expecting you. We know what you've been up to. We know you've been poking your nose where it doesn't belong."

"I even tried to get you jerks kicked out!" Dot added, "But noooo that wasn't good enough!'

"Y-you knew we were coming?" Hello Nurse asked, trying to keep her voice from shaking.

"Of course!" Yakko replied cheerfully. He suddenly threw the human arm into the incinerator. The flames roared even more as it burned through the arm in record time, though Yakko seemed unaffected by the heat, "We have eyes everywhere in this studio. We know all about you, that Brian guy, and the pigeon trying to foil our plans. You think we wouldn't take extra precautions against curious people like you?"

Dot approached closer, setting her unhinged stare on Scratchansniff. He yelped and tried to hide behind Hello Nurse to avoid her. This put him in direct sight of Yakko however, making him awkwardly try to hide to the side of Hello Nurse to avoid both of them.

"Of course, now that you're here..." Yakko continued, hitting the side of the incinerator. It chugged like an old steam train before it spit out a pile of charred bones on the floor, still glowing white hot from the heat, "We can't exactly let you leave, now can we?"

Dot creeped up behind them, static electricity flying off her form. Scratchansniff and Hello Nurse stood back to back, facing the two psychotic toons.

Yakko chuckled sinisterly as he pulled a comically large syringe from his belt. It glowed with an unnatural green liquid, "Oh come on you two. Consider it a once in a lifetime opportunity! You get the chance to experience immortality and toon powers!"

"And what if we don't want that?!" Hello Nurse shot back, staring him down.

Yakko snickered again, "Then I guess we'll just have to kill you, won't we?"

The two Warners closed in on the two humans. They both lunged. At the last second, Hello Nurse grabbed Scratchansniff and rolled out of the way. Yakko passed straight through his ghostly sister and hit the wall behind her, leaving a Yakko-shaped imprint in the brick. Dot erupted into a fit of laughter once again. Hello Nurse and Scratchansniff took this chance to dash for the exit and slam through the rusty metal door.

Yakko pried himself off the wall and growled at his still laughing sister, "What are you doing?! You're letting them get away!"

Dot giggled uncontrollably, "I'm sorry! That was just so funny!"

"Well stop laughing and start chasing!" Yakko roared, "After them! AFTER THEM!!"

Hello Nurse and Scratchansniff didn't stick around to listen to their conversation and instead chose to sprint as quickly as they could down the hall. The rusty door slammed open behind them as Yakko and Dot gave chase. Dot's ghostly form sparked and lit up the dark tunnel while Yakko's face was illuminated by the deadly green chemical in the vial of his syringe.

Scratchansniff screamed in horror, running ahead of Hello Nurse. He broke off from her and took off down the brick hall. Before Hello Nurse could follow him, Yakko suddenly appeared from above, hanging upside-down with his face directly in hers.

"Hellooooo Nurse!" He greeted, about to jab her with the syringe. She screamed and punched him in the jaw, surely taking out a few of his teeth in the process. He fell from the ceiling and at her feet. Instead of groaning in pain, he gave an unnerving laugh. Rather than sticking around, Hello Nurse took off down the opposite tunnel. She heard Yakko get up and give chase. His maniacal cackles echoed down the claustrophobic corridor, making Hello Nurse's fear rise.

"Oh nurse-yyyy!!" Yakko called after her in a sinister sing-song voice, "Come back! I just want to give you a little sleepy time medicine!"

Hello Nurse only sped up. She was not going to be caught by the creepy little dog boy with an oversized needle. Through her panic, she knew she had to reunite with Scratchansniff first and foremost. She had the magnet, and she assumed Dot went after him. But first she had to outrun the psychotic elder Warner currently brandishing an oversized syringe. She pressed on, hearing Yakko's laughter getting closer and closer.

"I've got a surprise for yoooouu!" He sang in-between his cackling.

With no warning, something huge whizzed past Hello Nurse's head. She screamed in surprise as the massive thing hit the wall in front of her, nearly decapitating her. It was a huge, medical grade bone saw nearly as big as Yakko himself. She didn't have time to examine it closer as she ducked down below it and ran to a corridor to the left. She hoped it would loop back to the same passage Scratchansniff had taken.

"C'mon you sexy lady!" Yakko taunted her, "Why run from your old pal Yakko Warner? I won't bite! That's what my saw is for!"

Up ahead, Hello Nurse heard Scratchansniff screaming and Dot's laughter. She sped up and followed it. It seemed like she ran for hours in those corridors trying to find Scratchansniff, getting progressively more tired even as her desperation grew. Yakko's laugh grew closer and more triumphant.

"Finally!" He cackled, "The conventionally attractive lady falls into the clutches of the eviiiil scientist!"

Hello Nurse couldn't run anymore. Her hazmat suit felt heavy. She was sure her oxygen tank was running low as she felt herself getting lightheaded, as well as finding it a challenge to breathe. She stopped, barely able to keep herself standing. A cold needle went straight through the suit into her neck as a chilling laugh echoed in her ear. She fell forward, her vision rapidly fading and her senses failing her.

The last thing she remembered was Yakko dragging her off down the hallway, laughing and singing to himself about his victory.
