Gregory and Glamrock Freddy sit behind a tree as they watch the city. The city was recovering from a fire that burned a section of Freddy Fazbear's Mega PizzaPlex. And they had found the animatronics to be damaged. However, there was no evidence to be found, and the city knows Glamrock Freddy went missing. Gregory felt awful for having to cause a lot of turmoil that the city had to fix.
"Gregory... Do you think Vanessa could've gotten out of there?" Glamrock Freddy asked, worried for the nightguard's safety.
"I'm sure she did. She's a guard, after all. I doubt she couldn't have gotten out." Gregory replied, unsure of Vanessa's fate.
"Well, if she did survive, they'll find her..." Glamrock Freddy nodded his head in agreement with Gregory.
They both looked back and watched the city for a few moments.
"Gregory... I know this may be asking a lot, but..." Glamrock Freddy passed for a moment.
"But what, Freddy?" Gregory asked him.
"I want you to be honest with me. I must know your past. And why you came to the PizzaPlex. Please, Gregory..." Glamrock Freddy expresses his guilt with a depressed expression on his face.
Gregory became shocked at what he heard from his animatronic friend. He didn't mean any of what he said, did he? If he did, then why would he want to know?! His life was already hard enough from being homeless! But now, his friend wants to know what his past is like?! Why should he tell him everything?! It's not like Glamrock Freddy truly cared about him, does he?
But if telling Glamrock Freddy his past means Gregory was cared for by him, then that's what he'll do.
Gregory exhaled deeply before beginning to tell Glamrock Freddy his past.
"Well, my mother gave birth to me by my father, who was a war veteran... I was 5-years-old when I first met him. I was excited to see my father. Same with my mother. We were going to throw a celebration for his early retirement from the military..." Gregory begins to open up to Glamrock Freddy.
"But when he showed himself at the door, he was battered and bruised. He had cuts all over his face from a war he survived from. The next thing that happened is, when he tried to walk into the house, he collapsed from his injuries..." Gregory continued his story.
Glamrock Freddy was unnerved by what he heard from Gregory.
"After that, we called 9-1-1 and took him to the hospital. He had a concussion from one of the landmines he narrowly ran from. The doctors said it'll take him about six months to recover from his other injuries. So, all we had to do was wait." Gregory sniffed, remembering the horrific event.
"I don't remember much after that. But what I do remember is when I was sleeping, I woke up to a gunshot on the 5th month. I was startled by the sudden loud noise. When I ran down to see where the gunshot was, what I saw changed my life for the worst..." Gregory paused.
Glamrock was becoming more unnerved the further he heard Gregory's story.
"It was my father... Holding the Glock, pointing to the wall where the bullet fired. I saw my mother lying on the floor, having the life leave her eyes as blood poured from her head. My father had that horrified expression on his face because he killed my mother..." Gregory's eyes start to be overtaken with tears as he remembered what transpired.
Glamrock Freddy became horrified at what he just heard from him.
"He turned over to see me. I was shell-shocked as he saw me. He started crying uncontrollably, telling me he was sorry for everything. He told me he didn't mean any of this to happen. I didn't believe a word he said. The next thing he did shatter my life." Gregory's voice shivered from the sadness that was overtaking him.
"He pointed the Glock to his head, telling me he can't live with what he did. And after he could no longer speak, he pulled the trigger, killing himself..." Gregory lets the tears flow as he remembered the gruesome sight.
Glamrock Freddy was left awe-stricken as he heard the whole story.
"I became homeless because of my father... I've been living to survive because of my father!" Gregory's voice rose from rage.
"EVERYTHING I AM IS BECAUSE OF MY FATHER!" Gregory gets up and punched the tree.
"Gregory!" Glamrock Freddy reacted with horror.
The child's fist becomes bloodied.
"IT'S HIS FAULT! EVERYTHING IS HIS FAULT!" Gregory punched the tree as hard as he could over and over.
Glamrock Freddy stops and restrains the child from hurting himself further. Gregory tried to break free from the animatronic to no avail. Giving up after five whole minutes, he collapses and lets himself sob softly in Glamrock Freddy's arms.
"Shh... It's okay, Gregory..." Glamrock Freddy uses his soothing voice to calm the rage-stricken child.
After a long time of Gregory regaining his composure, Freddy grabs out a medkit and brings some medical supplies to disinfect and bandage Gregory's bloodied fists. Glamrock Freddy hugs Gregory before staring into his eyes.
"Gregory... No matter how that happened, none of that is your fault. Do you understand? No one in the world would blame you for what happened..." Glamrock Freddy rubs Gregory's back.
"OK, Freddy..." Gregory nodded his head, wiping his tears away.
"Thank you... for being honest with me. Just know, I'll always care about you..." Glamrock Freddy pat Gregory's head.
"I know you do..." The child smiled a little.
Glamrock Freddy's battery starts beating with them realizing his battery is low.
"I believe you must go... The staff will come looking for me anyway..." Freddy feels his power starting to go out.
"No! You know I'm not going to leave you here!" Gregory yelled in panic.
"Gregory, if you don't leave, they'll ask questions to you, and they may suspect you caused the fire..." Glamrock Freddy sits down, attempting to conserve some power.
"W-What will happen to you?" Gregory asked worriedly.
"Once they find me, they'll attempt to find out if I had any viruses with me. They will ask me some questions, but I will deny my involvement with all of this. I'll say to them that I didn't know what to do and I couldn't save my crew from danger. They may or may not believe me, but this is the only thing I can do to save you from further danger." Glamrock Freddy replied to him on what he must do.
"Oh... Well, I hope they don't replace you!" Gregory sniffed.
Glamrock Freddy caressed his head in comfort.
"They won't. I'm too valuable to be replaced. They need someone like me to keep the success of the PizzaPlex going." Glamrock Freddy replied.
"OK, Freddy... I'll go." Gregory sniffed, holding back his tears.
"You're always a good kid, Gregory... Now go..." Glamrock Freddy uttered his final words before deactivating.
Gregory toughened himself up as he took one last look at his fallen friend. Gregory runs down the Hill as fast as he could, not looking back as the staff found Glamrock Freddy sitting behind the tree. Adrenaline rushed through Gregory's veins as he ran further and further to the city...
Until he can live his life again, Gregory will continue fending for himself at the PizzaPlex...
