~At Another Planet~
The scene shows from the outer space a planet, where it zooms to a specific continent, and eventually at an advanced city, with the architecture showing difference to that of Deviluke, but with a few heavy similarities, where mostly people that have blueberry skin and one big horn upon their forehead are seen walking about, being the obvious inhabitants of the planet. The scene then moves to show a large very well made building, with a big and seemingly iron wall fence around it that leads to a big iron gate that writes with big golden words above, "Welcome To Ionos Academy". From outside, an armored foot can be seen stepping toward the iron bar gate, with the scene then showing that it is Ion, along with Nana, Mea, and ten royal guards behind them, all looking at the gate which opens its doors for them automatically. Then through the now open iron bar gate a female figure steps through, with blueberry skin and horn, like the inhabitants we saw before, who's wearing what looks like a black/gray office uniform. She stops only a few steps in front of Ion.
?: *Bows And Smiles* We have been expecting you, King Ion and Queen Nana of Deviluke. *Straightens Up* I am the one currently representing Ionos Academy, along with everything within its walls. An honor to have you inspect this grand building yourself, my liege.
She says the last one as she moves her hand toward Ion for a handshake. Ion grasps her hand and shakes it in response.
Ionas: The honor is all mine, miss. Now please, lead the way.
Academy's Representative: Of course. This way my liege.
Everyone steps through the gate, going for the academy's entrance of the building itself. On the way, many students of the academy can be seen outside walking about, stopping everything as they take notice of the famous rulers of Deviluke with their royal guards walking toward the building, with most of them being both surprised and in awe of their presence. As they continue walking, Ion takes notice of a large statue of himself at the middle of the courtyard to the side, sculpted oddly enough with great accuracy.
Ionas: Not that I don't appreciate it, but was the statue really necessary?
Academy's Representative: But of course, my liege! You're the reason this academy even exists, after all. It is important for the students to look upon your image every time they walk about outside, so they will never forget who's responsible for their academy's creation, and so they can feel inspired by the fact every time.
Ionas: Ok, that makes sense, I suppose.
The group reaches the two doors to the building and enter through, drawing every students' attention on the inside too, as our trio check out the well made inside of the academy's large entrance.
Nana: *Looks Around Her Impressed*
Mea: *Looks Around Her Somewhat Impressed* It's big.
Academy's Representative: *Smile* Here at Ionos academy, our top priority is to ensure that our students will surely learn everything they need to know. Other than the basics, like history, we also have classes for most if not all professions and everything. A few guards stationed at certain areas to ensure there is no bullying and/or any inappropriate behavior in general. And of course teachers more than happy to help the students here to gain the necessary knowledge for the profession they aspire to achieve. Every rule, every detail as instructed by you, my liege. Everything simply perfect.
Ionas: *Sarcastic* Yeah sure, if you say so.
The academy's representative stops at the sound of that, with the rest stopping as well, and turns around, looking at Ion worried.
Academy's Representative: *Worried* My liege, is-?
Ionas: Oh no, it's not that I've seen something I don't like in the academy already, I mean we barely even saw anything so far. It's just that I don't really believe in the word "perfect". At least not nowadays. Things can be great, beautiful, magnificent, etc. But never perfect. There is always something, even the tiniest possibility that something, somehow, can go wrong out of nowhere, no matter how well you planned it. I know that from experience.
Academy's Representative: But... *Sweat Drop* What could a great person like you, who has given security and prosperity to his people across the galaxy, and who actually cared a lot more for said people than the previous king, go through to make you lose hope in a word that I could even say represents you at this point?
Ionas: *Somewhat Surprised* (Wow, this one really knows how to compliment you. And she doesn't appear to be just saying that.)* Well, miss representative, since you asked, I can tell you how my days usually go to understand that "what", and just this week only as an example. First, on another planet, I went there after fixing the place last year from its older poor state and after giving jobs to everybody. Well, most of the citizens at the city where I landed was revealed to have weapons at the ready *Annoyed* which they immediately started firing at me without warning! No need to tell you how that went for them later.
*A Flashback Shows The Rebels Of Said City Being Slaughter By Ion In A Fit Of Rage*
Ionas: Then, a big protest at a different planet, which I was able to make its group to settle down without fighting, and was THAT close to peacefully talk them out of it. *Annoyed* But a random one among them suddenly decided to talk, convince his fellow protesters to not trust my words, and had as a result every single one of them to go into frenzy and attack me.
*A Flashback Shows The Protesters About To Reach Ion, With His Eyes Closing, Before Opening Again To Show His Famous Glowing Red*
Ionas: *Shakes Head At The Thought* Poor sons of dogs.* And then just the next day, at my palace on Deviluke, that one day only, I was attacked by many assassins while I was performing my kingly duties and doing other stuff in general. At my office while signing important paperwork.
*A Flashback Shows Ion At The Said Office Signing Said Papers, With The Room Suddenly Being Invaded By An Assailant Through The Door, Who Gets B*tch Slapped Toward A Wall As Soon As He Gets Close To Ion, Before Some Guards Two Seconds Later Come In To Drag The Man Out Of The Room As Their King Continues His Work Without Taking His Eyes From The Papers As The Flashback Ends*
Ionas: At my ceiling.
*A Flashback Shows Ion Walking Alone Through A Hallway, Before Looking Up For A Moment And Stopping As He Notices The Figures Of Two Black Cloaked Humanoid Individuals Stuck Up There, Looking At Them For A Moment As They "Sweat Drop" At The Fact They Have Been Found Out So Early, And With Ion Annoyed Taking Out A Small Advanced Gun Which He Sets Ready As The Flashback Ends*
Ionas: *Real Annoyed* Inside my food.
*A Flashback Shows Ion In The Royal Kitchen Grabing The Ladle Of A Metal Pot With Red Soup Inside, And When Lifting It To Taste Some, He Instead Sees A Small Imp-Like Creature The Size Of His Hand Inside The Said Ladle, Instead Of Just The Soup, Which Holds A Knife In One Hand, And While Evilly Smiling Attempts To Stab The King With It, Only For Ion To Turn The Ladle Upside Down, Making The Small Creature To Fall Inside The Metal Pot With The Soup Again, And Sealing The Said Pot Just As Soon, Before Starting To Hit Repeatedly Its Metal Side With The Ladle In Great Irritation As The Flashback End*
Ionas: At my royal bath.
*A Flashback Shows Ion Inside The Warm Water Of His Great Royal Bath Relaxing Alone For A Moment, Till He Warily Starts Looking Around Himself To See... Nothing Really As The Flashback Ends*
Ionas: Actually nothing there, but later I was informed that the guards outside apprehended a woman, who tried to pass as someone I supposedly called in for a "fun" time, having been found carrying a concealed weapon under her clothes after careful searching. And that's only part of how my days are most likely to go. It is THAT annoying at times.
Academy's Representative: *Real Surprised* My word, that bad? But I don't understand... Why would people-
Ionas: Because when there are bad people, and even more stupid ones in the universe, things can't always go your way, even if you're obviously doing more good than bad for all. One of the reasons I am building schools and academies nowadays. To ensure that the future will be calmer with more knowledgeable and ethical people around. Now you know why I don't really believe in the word "perfect". *Crosses Arms* I will accept it as a compliment, but not as an actual thing.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* And he is too dogmatic about it.
Mea: *Sweat Drop* *Smile* Isn't he?
Academy's Representative: *Disbelief* I...* *To Ion* *Somewhat Determined* W-Well, I still believe you can have trust in its concept. And I'm sure your inspection here will prove it. *Clasps Hands Together* Please, my liege, have more faith in such a beautiful word, don't give up on it so easily.
Ionas: *Raises An Eyebrow* (Someone appears overly affectionate about it...)* We'll see. Let us proceed with the said inspection for now.
Academy's Representative: Right, let's continue. *Smile* This way, please.
And with that, Ion and the rest start to follow once more the blueberry woman around. The inspection takes some time, with her showing them the offices, the different classes, their underground warehouse, the different papers about the whole thing, and the building up and down in general. Currently the team was walking through a hallway which was filled with classrooms.
Academy's Representative: And with that we have officially seen everything the academy has to offer. *Smile* Everything as you saw is as they are supposed to be, and without flaws at all. I hope you enjoyed your inspection as much as I did, my liege.
Ionas: *Pleased* Indeed, I can't disagree with you here. Things here are as they should. I can even dare say that this is simply per-
?: *Loudly From Somewhere* PERVERT!
At the sound of that, Ion run like a thunder toward the source all the way back, till he reaches a class's open door to look inside, and see among the students three in particular that have to do with the commotion, two girls and a guy.
Male Student: *Sweat Drop* I-I didn't do it on purpose!
Says as he moves his hands defensively in front of him.
Female Student 1: *To The Supposed Victim* *Sweat Drop* I pushed him by accident on you, he really didn't intend to touch you anywhere.
Female Student 2: Oh, really? *Rubs Head Out Of Embarrassment* Sorry for overreacting so much then.
Male Student: *Sweat Drop* *Smile* I-It's ok.
Ionas: ...
Seeing that, Ion moves away from the class as the rest of the group catch up with him, concerned about what exactly happened.
Ionas: False alarm. Was nothing to worry-
?: *Loudly From Somewhere Else* GUNS!
Ion once more runs like a thunder toward the staircase behind a corner nearby, and sees many students looking at a male student showing off his big muscles.
Muscly Student: *While Showing Off With A Smile* Look at these guns here! So big I should call them bazookas!
Random Watcher/Student: *Rolls Eyes* Big deal, dude.
Ionas: ...
Ion moves away from the place and goes back to the group, looking at him now confused.
Ionas: Nothing worrying it seems-
?: *Loudly From Somewhere Else Again* KILLING!
Ion looks fast out of a window beside him and the group, only to see one student dancing with incredible flexibility and rhythm with the music coming from a small advanced radio-looking device, with other students around looking amazed at his mad dancing skills.
Different Random Student/Watcher: *Amazed* You're really killing it, man!
Ionas: ...
Nana and Mea move beside Ion.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* I think you should sit down and relax for a moment.
Ionas: Yeah... *Looks Down Weary-Like* I should...
Ion moves back and goes to sit on a chair beside the wall, which two of his royal guards took from somewhere for him to use, and continues to look down as he appears to be tired psychologically.
Mea: Poor Ion-Sama. All those past conflicts really make you go crazy over the smallest things nowadays.
Ionas: *Keeps On Looking Down* ...
Academy's Representative: With all due respect, my liege, I know you must be going through a lot most of your days, I can't even imagine how tiresome that must be for you, but you must understand that not every day and place is ought to be filled with bad situations. *Smile* Things can always be better. I mean, look at this place. It's something you have built, and there is nothing wrong about it.
She says as she motions at the place around them.
Academy's Representative: *Smile* And everything else is no different. All you need for a good day is good planning, and positive thinking. You should start thinking more positively. That's what I did all of my life, and have absolutely no complain about it till this day.
Ionas: ... Normally I would say that you're way too optimistic... *Lifts Head* But you're not wrong.
Ion gets up, seemingly feeling a bit better.
Ionas: I should not let my worries cloud my judgment like this. Maybe I am not thinking about this as I should indeed. In my entire reign, which is barely more than a year so far, I was always thinking about the bad, and what is the best way to deal with them. Never has my mind found time for actual peace, certain personal moments being excepted, and they say that being negative most of the time can affect your day by pretty much jinxing it. I don't say that I should be less careful, but I should definitely start thinking more positively about my days, my plans, and everything else. *Smile* Thank you for the positive talk, miss. I can already feel my day brightening.
Nana and Mea smile at him, the royal guards remain emotionless, and the Academy's Representative couldn't be happier about the fact that she convinced the king of the known universe, and pretty much help him change his negative view of things. It was obvious all over her face, which unsettled our trio a bit, before realizing herself.
Academy's Representative: *Fake Cough* *Awkward Smile* Happy to be of any help at all, my liege.
The scene then moves to the group descending from the main staircase.
Academy's Representative: *Smile* I'm glad you found the academy not lacking in anything in the end, and know that we will do our best to produce only the best from each student for the good of our community's future.
Ionas: *Smile* Happy to hear-
?: *Loudly From The Main Entrance* MAKE NO FUNNY MOVE!
That catches the attention of the group as they continue walking down the stairs, wondering what is the fuss about.
Ionas: *Smile* Oh, I'm sure it's probably just one of those metaphors most teenagers of this age use or something. Not falling again for-
Walking down the stairs a bit more, what they see shocks them. A man right at the middle of the entrance hall of average height and body with blueberry skin and horn, like the planet's inhabitants, yes, is seen along with a woman of the same species, with said woman wearing a teacher's uniform, that shows to belong in this academy, who he is holding against her will with one arm around her shoulders and arms to lock her arms in place, and with his other hand holding a thin cylinder device with a button at its top, and his thumb right above it.
?: *Serious* Else I will blow everything up to smithereens!
He says as he uncovers a little his shirt with the hand that holds the device, careful to not activate it, and shows what appears to be a vest filled with advanced bomb devices attached to wires, shocking everyone even more as they stay paralyzed in place.
Alien Kamikaze: *Serious* Now listen well! All I wanted is a work here, *Aversion* and instead this b*tch got the position!
Pointing at his hostage who's scared for life.
Alien Kamikaze: *Serious* If I am to be thrown out without being given an actual chance, then my demands will be heard and accepted, *Real Serious* or I will take this building and everyone in it along with me!
He says as he moves his thumb around the button to make his point, making everyone panic for a moment in place and begging him to not push it.
Ionas: ...
Ion begins to walk down the stairs on his own, as he motions to the rest behind him to stay where they are and let him handle this himself, with Nana about to reach a hand to him at an attempt to stop him, before deciding to take it back as she just looks at him worried. The alien man notices him coming from the stairs that moment and fast turns to him.
Alien Kamikaze: *Serious* Hey, what did I say about- *Notices* About...
The man finally fully notices who is the one approaching him as he reaches the end of the stairs, and starts trembling, shocked at the fact.
Alien Kamikaze: *Shocked* Wh... What are you doing here... *Real Shocked* KING OF DEVILUKE?!
Ion says nothing at that, as he simply looks at the man with a straight face, while everyone keeps on looking, now at both, in shock.
Ionas: ... I actually believed for a moment, you know.
Ion begins to walk slowly toward him, with the man recoiling from fear in place at the fact.
Alien Kamikaze: *Troubled* I-I will not hesitate-!
As the man tries to make his point by moving the cylindrical device in front of him, the device itself is suddenly cut in half out of nowhere, as its lower part falls onto the floor in front of his eyes, and letting the part he was holding fall down as well while taking a step back, startled by the whole thing. He looks at Ion again.
Ionas: One... *Eyes Turn Bright Red* Motherf*cking moment.
The man just now realized in how much trouble he is, and that there is no going back now. He reaches fast for the inside of his vest, and grabs an advanced gun that he takes out, but before he can even aim it, it is too cut in half out of nowhere, as Ion does nothing more but keeping on approaching. Menacingly. The guy finally getting desperate, raises his hand upward while tossing the half of his gun away, with long claws coming out of his fingers, and brings the down in an attempt to stab his hostage with them, only for his hand the last moment this time to be cut apart from the rest of his body out of nowhere, with the man screaming as his hand falls onto the ground, and his wound releasing great amounts of blood, with him falling to his knees as he grabs his wound in pain, and at the same time giving the chance to the woman he was holding to escape from his grip and run past Ion and right behind of the Academy's Representative in her panic. As the Academy's Representative comforts the woman, Ion reaches the man who is now grunting at the great pain on his stump that was once his hand, before he looks up to the king who is now standing before him, terrified of his presence.
Ionas: I don't know why you would go to such lengths for a simple position like this, *Menacing* but after that I think we both know that you're due for a very well known broadcast.
The man looks down and begins crying, knowing that he cannot escape from his fate anymore.
~Not Long Later~
The scene shows the known group outside of the academy's gates, with Ion arm crossed in front of its bowing representative.
Academy's Representative: *Apologetic* I'm really sorry for all that, my liege. That man came for an interview the last day, and due to his problematic behavior we disqualified him for the position, to ensure our students safety and learning future. I never expected he will act like that.
Ionas: And I must now say it. *Serious* You were way too optimistic. Now you should truly understand why I don't believe in the word "perfect". Things can always get bad at the most unexpected times, no matter how well you have planned them, and no matter how positive you're about them.
The woman says nothing and keeps her head low.
Ionas: Not saying to stop being you, but always be ready to learn when you're wrong, as I will too after that.
Ion turns his back on her, facing Nana, Mea, and his royal guards.
Ionas: *Still To The Woman* Everything in the academy is acceptable. Just put two extra guards at the outer gates to avoid the today's scenario from happening again, and we will not have to worry. Much. *To His Guards* Alright, men, we are moving out, call the ship.
Royal Guards: *Salute* Yes, sir!
And with that, the scene moves to the point where Ion and the rest are in their spaceship, flying off the planet toward the space above, before the scene then shows the known trio inside their cabin.
Nana: You know, I feel kind of bad for that woman. Everything was going so well, till that man decided to ruin it out of nowhere.
Mea: Yeah, that WAS indeed unfortunate.
Ionas: That's what she gets for being too optimistic. Hopefully she will learn from this experience to take things more seriously.
Nana: Think she will be fine? She seemed quite devastated before leaving.
Ionas: She will be fine, don't worry about it. Though, I feel quite uneasy all of a sudden thinking about it for some weird reason. Don't know why.
As the ship leaves from the planet completely eventually, the scene moves to where the alien woman is, showing her still looking up to where the king's spaceship was before leaving from their planet's sky.
Academy's Representative: ... What...
The scene then shows one of her fists being closed tightly.
Academy's Representative: What...
The scene then moves along with her fist upward, which she opens and places the hand upon her cheek.
Academy's Representative: *Blushing And Smiling* What an inspiring person. I hope he comes visit us again soon.
