~At Another Planet~
The scene shows a calm wasteland, just before multiple people with little to no armor and advanced guns run forward, determined to face what is before them, before that something falls right at them, sending many of them flying back as it shows that it was actually Ion in his notable white/blue armor, who is standing on top of an unfortunate man, who then has his skull pulverized by the king's armored boot, with Ion soon after pulling a huge sword from behind his back forward as he looks behind him at his men who shoot at all the enemies around.
Ionas: *Loudly* CHA~RGE!
He says as his men advance forward while shooting and shouting at the enemy army in response, as he moves forward himself.
~At A Different Planet The Next Day~
The scene shows Ion in the middle of a battlefield fighting an army with his own, with him that moment slashing one man in half, before grabbing another one, who was coming from behind, by the neck and lifting him off the ground.
Ionas: *Loudly* EAT DIRT, SCUM!
He says as he forces the unfortunate man with his head first onto the hardened ground with a powerful thrust, crushing his head completely that way, before Ion soon after slashes in half another enemy that was coming at him.
~At Yet Another Different Planet The Day After The Last~
The scene shows Ion at yet another battlefield, slashing two men simultaneously that were coming at him from behind, before hacking another one in front of him with a downward slash to the shoulder, deeply injuring the man, and making him kneel due to the sudden pain and force of the attack, with the sword being stuck into his flesh there, as the king raises a fist at that moment.
Ionas: *Loudly* EVEN GOD'S MAY DIE!
Says the last one as he punches the guys head so hard that it explodes into a bloody mess.
~Once More At Another Planet The Very Next Day~
The scene shows Ion sitting at a table and chair, obviously made by his bone-power, reading a piece of paper with some of his royal guards behind him, as an obviously rebel type of leader with a handful of his followers are standing in front of them waiting for something.
Ionas: Ok, this is actually true, and most of your demands are indeed sensible. I can't give you independence, but my men will do everything else so you can be at ease from now on about those. Agree?
The rebel leader looks at him men, with all of them nodding at him before he nods at Ion as well in agreement.
Ionas: Good. *Raises An Eyebrow* Also you do realize you didn't need to raise an entire rebellion for this, right?* You could have just come and talk with me at my palace or send a report so I can help you anyway since you truly needed it.
All the rebels rub the back of their heads out of embarrassment at that.
Rebel Leader: *Embarrassed* Yeah.
Rebel 1: *Embarrassed* That's true.
Rebel 2: *Embarrassed* We were too stupid and desperate to think about it.
Ionas: Hey, at least no one got hurt and no one will have to, right?
The scene then proceeds to show once more Ion at a series of different planets, with his royal guards always following him behind, slashing, shooting, and screaming as he kills his varied enemies, with the last scene showing him to be transformed into a horrific nightmare, covered in blood and screaming even louder than the previous times-
~At The Royal Palace Of Deviluke~
-Before the scene cuts straight to him, in his normal form now, groaning as he falls face first onto a couch, obviously tired, inside what appears to be a royal-like waiting room, with Nana standing beside him.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* Rebellions have been too hard on you, huh?
Ion lifts his head and looks at Nana with his tired expression.
Ionas: *Tired* It has been like this for more than a week already. Rebellions just keep appearing out of nowhere as if it's normal. I must have committed a genocide if you think of how many I killed in total so far. *Frustrated* *To The Imaginary Rebellions* I have already proven I'm not a bad leader damn it, put it in your dry heads already!
Nana: *Feels Bad* ...
Nana feeling bad for him, sits onto the couch right next to his head, with Ion soon after moving enough on his own to place that head of his onto her lap, making her blush for a moment in her surprise, before finding her composure just as soon, and simply looks down at his tired self.
Ionas: *Melancholic* You know, it's days like these that make me look back at our old life. I remember when we never had that many worries. I mean, yeah, we had the insectbots, but it was not as chaotic as how things are now with the constant rebellions, and the full with duties schedule.
...
Ionas: *Melancholic* I miss those times... Spending time with our friends and family without caring about a thing in the world other than how we will spend that very day together... From before I become king... *Surprised* Hell. I miss those days so much, that I even dare say I missed going to school too. And I hated school!
Ion turns his head and buries his face into Nana thighs after saying that, with her holding his head with one hand, and stroking his hair with the other in an attempt to comfort him. He then turns his head sideward again, still looking sad about.
Ionas: *Melancholic* I feel like we have lost every chance we had to even feel how it is to live a free normal, or at least somewhat normal, life after taking the throne. We used to be so much more carefree back then. So much more... Peaceful...
From Ion's face that moment runs a single tear from one of his eyes across his cheek, which he doesn't realize, but with Nana noticing.
Nana: *Feels Bad* Oh, Ion...
Nana wipes the tear off Ion's face with her hand, before taking back to place the said hand onto his head again, which makes him realize he was unintentionally tearing as he places a hand on his now clean cheek, with him then turning his head to look at her above him.
Nana: *Sad Smile* I know how you feel. I really do.* *Contemplates* There are times I wish we could just go back to the way we used to be as well.
Ionas: ...
Nana realizes she is contemplating too much to the past, and looks again at Ion with a somewhat awkward smile.
Nana: *Sweat Drop* *Smile* B-But what we have now is not all that bad, really. You need to look at the bright side of things.
That moment, the door to the room opens, revealing Mea who is holding in both hands two cups and one more with her ponytail, as she kicks the door to close it behind her as she enters, before approaching the duo.
Mea: *Smile* She is right you know, Ion-Sama.
After saying that, she hands to Nana her cup, and places the other one at the table in front of the lying Ion, as she grabs with one of her now free hands the other cup from her ponytail.
Mea: *Smile* Things might have changed, but you can't say they are bad. I mean, you became the king of Deviluke and of the entire-
Ionas: Known.
Mea: Known universe. You made changes the previous king didn't even bother with, making people's lives on all of your planets much better.
Mea takes a sip from her cup.
Mea: *Big Smile* And also don't forget.
Mea crouches down, lifts with both her hands Ion's head and top, and as she presses her cheek onto his, she uses her ponytail to pull Nana's head also close to his, so their cheeks can touch each other as well, much to both their surprise all that.
Mea: *Blushing And Smiling* You have two women that love you very much.
That causes Nana to blush, but then hugs Ion with a smile to show said affection, which causes him to smile a bit at that, while Mea unhands them and leaves them like that as she makes a casual turn behind the table.
Mea: What if some people decided to rebel against you? You know that everything you do is for the good of all. Now if some can't see it the way you do, and are easily swayed into rebelling about, it is not your fault. And after all, isn't all the planning you've been making all this time, so in the future the whole rebellion case will have no reason to exist ever again? Because people will be more satisfied, smarter and all? Just be patient.
Nana: *To Ion* Yeah, Mea is right. Don't let all that pressure get into you just because of some idiots. *Raises An Eyebrow* Also, if you really miss the others on earth that much, you know you can go see them at any time you wish, right?* You could just put someone else in charge, like mom, and do just that. You're the king, after all. *Sweat Drop* The only thing that keeps you from doing that, is your dutiful attitude. Always want to be there, to see things done well.* *Serious* The universe will not be destroyed if you're missing from the throne for one day, you know.
Ionas: ... *Chuckles*
That catches the confused attention of the girls, making them wonder why he laughs like that. When Ion stops chuckling about, he looks at Mea with a smile.
Ionas: *Smile* You keep surprising me with your insight and actual logic, Mea.
Mea smiles at that, as Ion decides to get up.
Ionas: *To Nana* And you know what, Nana? You're right. *Serious* I'm the bloody king! Even I deserve a day off once in a while. And wanna know something else?
That instant Ion takes his cup from the table, drinks it whole, and places it back down at the table empty.
Ionas: *Smile* I'm gonna do just that. And you both are coming with me, obviously.* Nana, you will go make a call to the others, and ask them what time today they are free.
Nana and Mea smile surprised at Ion's decision.
Nana: *Smile* Yeah!
Ionas: *To Mea* Mea, you and I will go with her, make sure she is safe, and obviously say "hi" to the others as well.
Mea: *Smile* Sure!
Ionas: *To The Door* Royal Guard behind the door!
The door opens that moment by a random royal guard.
Royal Guard: Yes, my liege?
Ionas: Inform Sephie Michaela Deviluke that she is in charge of the throne duties for the day, and prepare a team to escord the three of us on Earth. *Real Serious* That's a order.
Royal Guard: *Sweat Drop* R-Right away, sir!
The guard runs at high speed straight to his destination, startled by his king's sudden and great seriousness.
Ionas: Also, girls?
Both of them simply look at him and wait.
Ionas: *Smile* Thank you for always being my psychological support, and helping me realize how much of an idiot I am for not seeing the simple solutions before my very eyes.
Mea: *Smiles Widely*
Nana: *Smile* Always there for you. *Wink* Idiot.
Ion smiles amused at that, before looking at the door determined.
Ionas: *Determined* Alright, girls. Let's go prepare, and then later enjoy our well deserved day off.
Both: *Enthusiastic* YE~AH!
And with that, the three start walking. Ready to make their plans for their now free of duties day. In this empire of theirs and life, there will always be times that will be good, and other times that will be bad. But one thing is sure. Those three together... Will go far.
