Girl bedroom. Morning. Hermione on bed, rolled over. Stretched all her bones and yawned so hard. Her tired eyes show that she needs more sleep than going to class.

What happened to Hermione Granger we know? brilliant academic mind, gifted student and most important.. her insufferable know-it-all attitude. Did someone put a spell on her or was she just lazy?

She yawned hard again. "Can you be quiet, Granger!"

"I'm sorry, Parvati". She looked to her right. Four poster beds include her. "Can I skip my routine today?".

Parvati under her blanket, said. "Who cares about your timetable routine".

"I care".

"Then GO!" shouted Parvati, time beside her bed showed her at 4.50am. She grunted. "Your insane Granger! How come you wake up so early and make an annoying sound while we are trying to sleep".

Parvati rolled over. "There's plenty of time to sleep. And shut up, Granger!"

"Sleep tight. I should go to the Library".

"You're crazy, Granger!" Parvati muttered under her blanket.

Hermione off the bed. Walk to the window. She looks over her shoulder where Parvati and others are still asleep.

She smiled a bit. Facing back to the view. At that moment, she rushed to the bathroom and shower.

Library. After having breakfast alone at the Great hall. Before class started, she went to Library. Madam Pince nowhere to be seen because it is still early morning.

No student, even staff teacher, wouldn't awake so early like Hermione Granger.

Hermione walks to her usual table and then she stops as her eyes see a dark figure sitting at the same table she uses.

Severus Snape.

What on Merlin is he doing here early in the morning?

Though Hermione. Her feet back away, but not for her luck, her elbow hitting hard on the shelf book. That makes her bite her lips, and try not making any sound.

Snape caught her. She smiled. "Good morning". Then she ran. Before she could reach the door. Demands to leave the library, Snape traps her inside with him.

He cast a silent charm. Where no one couldn't hear her scream for help. She feels Snape getting closer behind her, she runs between the shelved book.

She runs like a maze, circling around the room, not wanting to be captured by Snape. She has felt weird about his behavior since.

What is wrong with him?

Hermione looks behind her. No one. Snape wasn't chasing. Feeling glad but still not safe for her.

"Silly me. He can't run like me". Chuckles then breathe, she walks to another shelf. Snape standing right in front of her, she screams.

Her back head almost hit the shelf, he grabbed her arm. "Why are you running, Miss Granger. Exercising yourself".

"You locked the door, of course I ran. Why do you do that?" she asked him.

Snape studied her face. He grew to love her. She tormented him, she became his obsession.

"Because you are about to awaken the whole castle by your running, panic and screaming. So, I cast a silent charm and locked the door. All I asked you to calm yourself down, Miss Granger".

He stared. "What are you doing waking up early in the morning. Class begins at 8.00am and you are already in the library".

"Nothing. Why are you here, Professor?"

"Guarding the castle".

"In the morning?"

He was smirking. "I'd just got back. My feet brought me in here instead of my dungeons. I was about to sleep when I heard someone open that door. Thought it was Madam Pince. Just you.."

"Oh". silent. "I'm sorry. I should wait for my friends at the Great Hall". Snape nods, as he is about to wave his wand. Hermione turned to him again. "I was wondering, Professor". their eyes met. "Can you consider me as part of your life".

"I don't understand, Miss Granger. Part of mine?"

She walked closer to him. "I mean, did you really mean what you say.. that you love me, Professor".

"My love toward you never changes, Miss Granger". he smiles. "Why did you ask?"

"Maybe I could.."

Snape stops her. "If you love me because you pity me, or should I say.. deserve it. You better not say anything if it wasn't from your heart".

"You were there when I caused a lot of trouble. You were there when I didn't need you. You were there for me no matter what. I am starting to think about whether the Ministry of Magic allows students to have a relationship with their own teacher. If they find out.. What are the consequences?"

She gets closer to him. Tilted her head so their eyes meet again. "I wonder why you love me, Professor".

With his surprise. Hermione kisses him on the lips. A seventeen year old Hermione Granger has a true love first kiss with greasy git Severus Snape.

He returned her kiss as his hand wrapped around her waist, the other one back of her head. Their kiss is full of lust and hunger.

Finally, Hermione accepts Snape's love. Not by force. After Black's dead last year, she thought about it. He is always there for her when she needs it.

"I love you, Professor". she said between their kisses. Snape nods, so did he. He had loved her for the first time he laid his eyes on hers.

He will not let her go. Hermione Granger is his. No love potions she or Snape had to take. All they need is pure love.

Suddenly, the door bangs from the outside. It was Madam Pince. Both Snape and Hermione broke their kiss.

"What on Merlin who locked this door? Open up! If you are a teacher it's fine, but if you're a student, consequences will be upon you! Headmaster will hear about this".

Madam Pince cast a spell. And nothing seemed to open the door to listen to her. "OPEN UP!"

"Pince". Snape kisses her button nose then up to her forehead. "I must leave you here.. she can't know about you and me".

He smiled. Give her last kiss on lips, then Snape out of her sight. He lifted his spell. Madam Pince bursting inside the library.

"Miss Granger! On what Merlin you are doing here and why you locked this door!" she demands the answer. "Answer me, Miss Granger?"

"I can't sleep, so I went here alone after breakfast. Study a little bit before class". She lied. "Good morning". she blushed then out of the library.

As she arrives at the Great hall. She saw Harry and Ron sit at the Gryffindor table, enjoying their breakfast.

"Good morning boys". She takes a seat beside Harry. "So, where are you two heading?"

Ron frowned, his mouth full of food as he spoke. "You sound weird, Mione. Did you have a bad dream last night?"

"No. I have a wonderful dream". her face blushed and smiled. "Well, see you two again. I'm going to class".

As she exits, Ron looks up at Harry. "Bit weird isn't she?" Harry shrugs, and eats his breakfast.

Slughorn's Potion Class. Day. As Harry drags Ron inside, the other students turn in unison. Hermione frowns. Lavender, seeing Ron, beams.

"Harry m'boy! I was beginning to worry! And I see we've brought someone with us..."

"Ron Weasley, sir. But I'm dead awful at Potions, a menace actually, so I probably should just be going".

"Nonsense, we'll sort you out. Any friend of Harry's is a friend of mine. Right then, books out".

Harry and Ron share their glance. "Um, sorry, sir, but I haven't got my book yet.. nor's Ron. You see until this morning".

"Not to worry. You can get what you need from the cupboard".

As Harry and Ron step to the cupboard, Slughorn resumes, gesturing to the cauldrons bubbling before him.

"Now, as I was saying, I've prepared a few concoctions this morning. Any ideas what these might be?" Hermione raises her hand. "Yes, Miss...?"

"Granger, sir. That one there is Veritaserum. And that would be Polyjuice Potion. And that..."

In the cupboard, Harry and Ron find two textbooks, one new, one shabby and soiled. Both snatch for the new when a box marked BEZOARS tips.

As Harry makes a grab for it, Ron wrests free the new textbook and goes off grinning.

"... is Amortentia! The most powerful love potion in the world. It's rumored to smell differently to each person, according to what attracts them. For example, I smell freshly mown grass and new parchment and spearmint toothpaste".

Hermione blushes, stops herself. Slughorn regards her. "One of my best friends is Muggleborn. She's the best in our year..."

Harry, settling into his seat with the soiled textbook, looks up just as Slughorn's eyes shift to him for confirmation. As Harry nods, Hermione glances curiously at him.

"Now Amortentia doesn't create actual love, of course. That's impossible. But it does cause a powerful infatuation or obsession. For that reason, it is probably the most dangerous potion in this room".

Slughorn turns, finds a sea of dreamy faces leaning into the vapors. Instantly, he clangs a cover onto the cauldron, bringing them round.

As Ron blinks, he finds Lavender still staring dreamily at him. Noticing, Hermione's eyes narrow.

"Sir, you haven't told us what's in that one".

"Ah yes..." Slughorn steps to a small black cauldron. Begins to ladle a bit of golden liquid into a tiny vial. "What you see before you, ladies and gentlemen, is a curious little potion known as Felix Felicis. But it is more commonly referred to as..."

"Liquid luck".

A buzz runs through the class. Even Malfoy perks up. "Yes, Miss Granger. Desperately tricky to make. Disastrous should you get it wrong. But brewed correctly, as this has been, it has remarkable powers. One sip and you will find that all your endeavors succeed... at least until the effects wear off".

I like my chances. Say... think you could introduce me to your friend Granger?

Common room. Night. Harry scans his Potions book. Hermione peruses the Prophet. Ron cracks walnuts, pitching the pieces into the fire.

"Have to admit, I thought I was going to miss that last one. Hope Cormac's not taking it too hard".

Behind her paper, Hermione rolls her eyes. "Has a bit of a thing for you, Hermione. Cormac".

"He's vile".

Ron considers this, then glances across the room at Lavender. "Ever heard of this spell?" Harry points to a notation in the margin underlined three times Sectumsempra For Enemies Hermione frowns.

"No I have not. And if you had a shred of self-respect you would turn that book in".

"Not bloody likely. He's top of the class. Even better than you, Hermione. Slughorn thinks he's a genius".

Hermione casts Ron a withering glance. "I'd like to know just whose book that was. Let's take a look, shall we?"

"NO!" Harry held it out of reach.

Hermione is suspicious of Harry. "Why not?"

"It's... old. The binding is fragile".

"Is the binding fragile?"

She makes another grab for it, but Harry holds it clear. Then Ginny appears, plucks it out of his hand.

"Who's the Half-Blood Prince?"

"Who?"

"That's what it says. Right here... This Book Is The Property Of The Half-Blood Prince".

Ginny points. Written on the front is piece is π’―π’½π’Ύπ“ˆ ℬℴℴ𝓀 β„π“ˆ 𝒯𝒽ℯ π’«π“‡β„΄π“…β„―π“‡π“‰π“Ž π’ͺ𝒻 𝒯𝒽ℯ ℋ𝒢𝓁𝒻-ℬ𝓁ℴℴ𝒹 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓃𝒸ℯ.

Hermione smirked. Ginny hands the book back to Harry.

Hogwarts. Day. Snape and Hermione spend their life together. She will sneak inside Snape's office and wait for him to come.

As he entered his office, he found her standing in front of his collection jar. In a smile, Snape locked the door behind. He hugged her.

"I've missed you my love". said Snape, she turned to him. "I hear Potter beat you in potions class. Wonder why he'll do that".

Her head leaned on his chest. "Surrender my love?"

"He won't beat me in class. I'm the most insufferable know-it-all than him". Snape chuckled with her statement. "You say that to me".

He kissed her forehead. "Silly girl". She laughs at his robes. "Feeling strange doesn't it?" She looked up. "Don't you regret your decision to love an old man like me?".

"I never felt this way around boys my age. It feels different to you.."

Snape kisses her forehead again. "Because your heart belongs to me my love". his smile wider. "Always.."
