After the battle, Hogwarts was repaired. Some students, such as Hermione Granger, returned to the school to complete their education. Normal school life had resumed with McGonagall still as Headmistress.
Voldemort upon arrival at Hogwarts, demanded that the school turn over Harry, and the Battle of Hogwarts began. Harry surmised that the Horcrux had been hidden in the Room of Requirement. Harry, in the meantime, was worried about Hermione and Ron, who seemed to have disappeared.
They had gone into the Chambers of Secrets, where Hermione destroyed Helga Hufflepuff's Cup with basilisk fangs, which were one of the few weapons able to destroy Horcruxes.
Pregnant Hermione protecting herself, and two of her best friends Harry and Ron.
Harry will look after her as Snape requested.
Once the trio arrived at the Shrieking Shack, they witnessed Voldemort order Nagini to kill Snape, as he believed that Snape was preventing him from being the true owner of the Elder Wand.
Before he died, Snape gave Harry memories to view in the Pensieve and asked him to look into his eyes. So did Hermione, he asked her to forgive him and raise the child without him.
Harry viewed the memories given by a dying Snape. Harry also learned that Snape was, all along, with Dumbledore because he loved his mother Lily Evans.
After Harry's mother died. He is now loved by Hermione Granger and the unborn child.
Hermione cried over Snape's death as Harry told her the truth about him. She will not forgive herself but life must go on. The baby needs her.
After Voldemort died. Immediately, Harry was surrounded by overjoyed fellow fighters, Hermione and Ron reached him first, and then Ginny, Neville, and Luna.
Victory celebrations began and Harry was an indispensable part of the grief and celebration.
Harry ensured that Severus Snape's portrait was hung in the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts which Hermione will go there when she missed him.
Present day. The Burrow. Ginny Weasley bedroom. Careful rolled over her body, six month pregnant Hermione Granger wasn't that bad before her graduates.
It is very common to get backache or back pain during pregnancy, especially in the early stages. During pregnancy, the ligaments in your body naturally become softer and stretch to prepare you for labor. This can put a strain on the joints of your lower back and pelvis, which can cause back pain.
She breathed heavily. Laid flat on bed.
"Good morning, Princess". her eyes peers up to the door. Ginny in view as she walks toward her bed. "Exciting?"
"About what?"
"Breakfast. Thought food was your favorite part. Now you feed for two". she points at Hermione's baby bump. "How's that feeling having Snape's child with you, any regret?"
Hermione shakes her head. "The baby grows inside me, I can feel Snape's presence around me and the baby. It was like.. Snape was here with me. I don't think my school uniform fits me anymore".
"Getting fat of course. I'll tell you what, Mione. We're going to Diagon Alley and find you a new uniform. Mum insisted. Harry and Ron won't return to school - just us". She tried to lift Hermione but failed. "You are quite heavy too".
"Duh!" she stroked her belly. "I missed my parents Ginny. I can't travel and I know they are still in Australia. After the baby is born I find them, tell them everything.. include the baby and who the father was".
Ginny strokes Hermione's belly then she smiles. "Ron thought about you lately, the baby needed a father and he had to do something about it".
"Becoming a responsible boy or man?".
Shrugs. "Perhaps. Ron asks you to marry him sort of.. after your graduates".
Hermione laughed. She never loved Ron nor found interest in him. How could she marry him?
"What do you think about my stupid brother?"
Hermione shakes her head. "I love Snape, Ginny. My love toward Snape never ended even though he's gone, hurting my heart. No matter what he did - he is still part of me and the father of my baby". She smiled. "How's George?"
"Losing Fred was the most painful and devastating for our family. Especially Percy. He wouldn't leave Fred's side, becoming extremely furious that he chased down Rookwood in an attempt at revenge. Bellatrix almost got me, and mum killed that bitch".
"I am sorry. I believe when your family sees me around. I'm the one who caused Fred's death. Because of Snape". Ginny reached her hand. "I am very sorry for what Snape did. Please forgive me, Ginny".
"Hermione don't! Wasn't your fault neither Snape. Not both of you. This is Voldemort we talked about, he is obsessed with Harry and mental to be one of the power wizards. We don't blame you both, even the baby".
Both girls hug and cry. Ginny spoke again. "We should go downstairs. Mum will think we are doing something crazy here".
"You go down first. I want to see Harry and Ron, are they awake?"
"Snoring".
After shower, she went to Ron's room which he shared with Harry. She pushed the door, smiled as she saw the boys still asleep and snoring.
She took a seat on Harry's bedside, woke him up. "Harry?" she jolted his body. "Harry wake up!"
"What?" he reached her arm with eyes closed. "Still morning, Mione. Let us sleep".
"Molly wants to go to Diagon Alley. I think you two should come and besides I need my new uniform. I can't fit in anymore".
Harry snorts, said. "Are you really going back to school? Hermione.. you're pregnant".
"So? It stops me from graduating. I don't care.. get up!" she shouted to Ron, he was awake. "Ron! You better awake now, your mum is waiting or else.. you figure it out".
She bolted out from the boys room. Ron muttered. "She needs to lay low". Then he fell asleep back.
Diagon Alley. Day. Weasley's family. Harry and Hermione arrive in Diagon Alley. She stroked her belly with a smile.
After the battle, the wizards and witches return to open their shop. Death Eater no longer exists after Voldemort is defeated. Students and family are happy to be back again and buy school supplies.
"This is it". Hermione talks with her baby. "Look. This is Diagon Alley, Baby". She turns to Molly. "What should we do first, Mrs Weasley?" she asked. "I need my uniform first".
"Don't worry dear we're going to every shop you need". Molly looks up at Arthur. "Should we go, Arthur?"
Arthur nodded. "Well yes darling. We should then visit George in Wheezes. Like we know Bill and Charlie help him there". he feels sad about losing his son, Fred. "Come on boys, girls. Not wasting our time".
Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions. Same time. Hermione admires the robes and suddenly the witches Madam Malkin herself stood behind them and smiled.
"What an honor to see". her eyes on Harry, Ron and Hermione. "The trio who defeat the only idiot wizard who is named, Voldemort. New uniform?"
"For me yes and Ginny".
The witch nodded. "What about you Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley?" her eyes at the boys. "Something different?" Harry shakes his head.
"We'll be not returning".
"I understand. Miss Granger, same uniform?"
Hermione nodded. "But a bit different. You'll see.." she shows her bump. "It grew inside me. So I may need a stretch uniform, bigger robes. Bigger uniform.. maybe".
"I wonder who the father is". the Witch winked at her. "No problem at all. Everything is under me, the best tailor in Diagon Alley". her eyes stare. "Did you need a button dear?"
After she and Ginny purchased the uniform. They went to Flourish and Blotts for books, the first time she met Snape before she went to Hogwarts.
She cried. Ginny tapped her shoulder from her back. "Mione you're okay?" she wiped her tears.
"Being pregnant is too emotional to carry. But this.." she pointed around. "I met Snape here before my first year. He purchased his books and I blocked his way between these shelves". she laughed.
Ginny smiles a bit. "Since then everything has changed".
"Do you want him to come back? I saw a book that could bring someone we loved back to life".
"We're not.. I mean don't. I do wish Snape would come back but I can't do something idiot that could hurt me and the baby". she stroked her belly. "Mrs Weasley must've waited for us outside, we should hurry, Ginny".
The Burrow. Attic. Night. Ron ate sweets. Harry studied Hermione as she read her favorite book Pride and Prejudice with a smile.
He cleared his throat and made both Ron and Hermione look up at him. "Are you excited to go back?" she nodded. "Sorry we two didn't return".
"Ginny is with me. Don't worry about that".
Harry nodded. "So? Since you're pregnant obviously. I asked McGonagall to look after you while you were there. I floo there immediately if I get a letter from her".
"Thanks, Harry. I can manage myself. Just.. Hogwarts is changed without Dumbledore and Snape".
"I'll make sure they hang Snape's portrait in the Headmaster's office. I do that because.. you and the baby need Snape, also in case you've missed him. Your brave Hermione. You fought in battle while you were pregnant, none of us can't, not even the Death Eaters know you are pregnant. Let's say Snape does protect you from them until he last breathes''.
Harry saw her stroke her belly. "I always wonder how it feels when the baby kicks inside you". She smiled.
"Give me your hand, Harry. Feel it". Harry gently touches Hermione's belly, feeling weird when you touch your best friend's belly. And then he realized.. It was all a miracle. "Can you feel that Harry?"
He nodded his head. "I can't wait to meet.."
"Him.." she smiled. "It's a boy, Harry". Harry and Ron look up with excitement. "You're both gonna be an uncle".
"So where did you give birth?" ask Ron.
"Muggle hospital. I'll take this as a challenge without the person I loved and my parent".
Harry frowned. "Did you say they are still in Australia?" she nods. "Ginny says after you give birth, you will look for them". she nods again.
"What about you, Harry? The Dursley's?"
"I don't think so. They are never fond of me".
"No kidding. You blew your Aunt Marge".
Harry, Ron and Hermione laugh. "Yeah. That doesn't matter now. I'm happy for you, Hermione. Graduates. We accompany you to the platform".
"Thanks. I also want to thank you.. both of you. You protect me and the baby".
Harry and Ron reach her hand, say together. "We protect each other, Mione". They smile.
