Wow, it's been awhile since I had a chance to sit down at the ol keyboard. Busy week but that's what being a store owner does to you I guess. Yesterday really sucked as I went from 7 hours at the store to 10 hours of watching my nieces so I'm running on piss vinegar and granola bars. Sleep is for the weak, let's write.

Story Suggestion is Ere we go, Plus Ultra! A good story that also kinda inspired this one. Izuku gets a warship of Orc stuck in his head and hijinks happens.

Also a new feature program called I pick and choose to respond to reviews that catch my attention.

To Yupino: I'm glad you like it and quirks are weird lol? Like what in the blue hazes could have caused dark shadow to happen or any kind of sentience quirk. If I was to spit ball and answer, the weak tiny soul of an overworked store owner counts as a small thing and fire has classically been considered symbolically tied with a soul? Sure let's go with that.

To ImposterYellow: I actually sat down and planned out the hows of what he will be able to do in the future and it will definitely get stronger overtime! Though as the Lucas Baker in me says, "I don't do spoilers!"

To Everybody else you know who you are: Yes I don't plan to stop but my muse is an ornery lady and doesn't like to write sometimes probably cause I'm so new at it. I'm planning to have at least one chapter out a week as long as they stay shorter like this but if they don't then they dont and I apologize but my brain has wanderlust and likes to explore.

Now from my computer to yours! Let's gooooooooo.

'Thoughts thoughts thoughts' signify thinking

"Talk talk talk" signify talking

~the song in my head goes round and round and never stops round and round~

'Daycare is weird' I thought to myself as I watched the kids run around and play. Twenty something kids running around like chickens with a fox in the coop. Izuku mostly stuck to himself on the playground, with me, his invisible companion following him around. He wasn't getting invited to games; the blond kid Katsuki ran like a tiny dictator. Snaps and cracks coming from his hands. Now wasn't that a shock to the system?

Apparently in this world 'No chance I'm in mine anymore.' people had superpowers that could be pretty much anything. Quirks they called them. One kid in the class had wings on his back that let him fly, another had hair that grew randomly throughout the day, going from fuzz on his bald head to straight flowing to his ankles in just a few seconds. Katsuki could make fucking explosions from his hands! Can you imagine a toddler being able to explode things? How had the school not been blown up yet? I remember just dealing with kids that came into the store and they were already a handful, could you imagine them with powers? I would have been out of business within a week.

Izuku just sat in the sandbox staring at the sand muttering to himself quietly, seemingly unconcerned with being stone walled from his classmates. I sat across from the kid and watched him stare at the collection of stuff he brought to the box to try and use his 'quirk' on. A couple rocks and sticks stared back at him mockingly daring him to move them with his mind.

"It isnt working….does it need a special activation method?" He whispered to himself with a sigh. He turned away from the collection before bringing a hand to his mouth muttering to himself.

"Izuku!" The shout rang over the playground causing the kid to startle before looking at the blonde menace screaming like a banshee. "We are going to play heroes and villains! Get over here you get to be the hostage again!"

Izuku with a wobbly grin stood up and walked over slowly with a nod. "Kaachan! I can be a hero now though I have a quirk too!"

"Shut up! If you can't make it do anything then you're just lying again! Prove it or shut up about it, loser!" Katsuki snarled before walking over and roughly grabbing Izuku's arm to pull him over to the group.

I watched with a frown on my face before getting up and following the group. "Oi, not so rough kid, he is already coming dont fucking hurt him." As if he heard me, Katsuki let him go before pushing him at another kid who grimaced at his role. The designated villain of the game. "I'm going to be the hero! Wings and Spiral are going to be my sidekicks!" He said with a grin pointing at two kids, one a chubby boy with wings while the other wore goggles and seemed to have pink eyes in the shape of a spiral. The villain of the group didn't seem to have anything going for him power wise but maybe it wasn't physical like Katsuki's?

The game quickly started with Katsuki and his two 'sidekicks' rushing at the boy and Izuku and fighting the villain. 'That's one way to call it I guess' as I watched with a concerned look on his face as Katsuki shoved the kid down harshly. Playground bullyism happens in every world I guess. I remember when I was a kid and got some of the same treatment before my growth spurt. I was always the short chubby kid in the first couple years of school. I learned quickly to keep my head down and look out for myself. Better to not paint a target on my back. Thankfully when I was fourteen I grew two feet over the summer becoming the tallest kid in class. Nobody messes with the tall kid who doesn't talk much.

"Kaachan! That isn't nice!" Little Izuku called out before stepping in to block the kid from Katsuki. 'Excuse me? What the hell is this kid doing?!' I thought as I watched him try and stop the fight. 'Does he want to get hurt or something?!' I thought panicked as I watched the impending disaster. Katsuki's face turned dark for a moment before he rocketed forward to sucker punch Izuku in the stomach. Izuku folded quickly and hit the ground with a gasp, tears welling up in his eyes.

"Shut up Izuku! Hostages don't get to talk and stay out of heroes' ways! You can't protect a villain or your one yourself!" he snarled like an angry pomeranian. Izuku slowly got up with tears in his eyes as he stared at Katsuki. He shook his head quickly before saying "That doesn't matter if someone is hurt! You can't be too rough it's just a game!" 'Wrong thing to say kid.' I thought as I watched the proverbial fuse in Katsuki's eyes get lit and he jumped forward again pushing Izuku down on top of the other kid, snapping the kid out of his shock over getting pushed and making him start to run.

'Classy kid.' I thought as the proverbial victim that just got saved ran with his tail between his legs. Katsuki watched the kid go before whipping on Izuku again with a snarl. "Fine! You're the villain then!" He said, raising another fist to hit Izuku with. Izuku cried out, raising his hands in front of him as if to ward off the blow. Katsuki took a step forward before swinging in with a right hook. The look on his face was worth it when it flew wide from me hitting the arm away from Izuku.

"Yeah no, that ain't happening kid." I muttered as I stared down at Katsuki with Izuku hiding behind me wide eyed at the miss. "IZUKU!" Katsuki screamed before charging Izuku again like a wild animal. "What the fuck kid seriously?" I said as I grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt, tossing him back on his back before he faded through my grip.

The kids looked wide eyed at Izuku who stared at Katsuki on the ground in shock before he ran forward and helped Katsuki up who looked shell shocked at the proceedings. "Izuku does have a quirk?" The fat kid with wings said shocked at the group, Katsuki turning to stare at him in confusion before his face turned blank. Izuku looked at him with a grin, tears still streaking down his face. "I did it! I knew I had a quirk!" he yelled happily.

Katsuki's face went blank as he stared at the group and where he landed before snapping. "Well it's about time! It's nothing as good as mine but at least you're not useless any more!" He said with a savage grin. The few kids seeing what happened came over to start talking to Izuku asking him about how he found out about it and what he was going to call it.

I ignored the group as I stared at the hand I used to grab Katsuki. "I was able to hold him longer than those notebooks this morning." I said with a frown. I looked up at the sky, "Am I growing stronger or is there a different reason?" I said as a loud bell echoed over the playground calling the kids back inside. I followed Izuku back in while I stared at his back. 'I'm going to have to figure this out.' I thought with a growing grin.

~dance to the song as it goes round and round and round~
