So. It's been awhile huh? I have excuses I'm sure nobody cares about but let's just say I have been busy and move on. Also trying to figure out where I wanted to go from here was also a headache and a half. As always I appreciate all the reviews, it's got me thinking about how I wanted to do this chapter and finally I just thought, lets just write and see where it goes. This isn't going to be a full chapter, kinda an inbetween one. Chapter 5.5 if that makes sense.

From my computer to yours.

A void. An endless expansion of darkness.

That is what I woke to, an endless dark sky that extended in all directions. Dark mist and clouds constantly flowing in all directions. The only thing under me was a barren floor of stone that extended to the horizon, without a hint of movement or landscape.

I opened my mouth to speak but not a sound emerged. Shocked, I looked down at my body to see my form made up of a deep shadowy mist, not a hint of skin to be seen.

~time moves ever forward~

I can't tell how long it has been. I tried counting the days as I walked this endless expanse but time has no meaning here. Had it been hours? Days? Months?

I wasn't sure.

I keep walking.

~time keeps on moving moving moving~

I'm worried about Izuku. What happened after I fell? Did he get home alright? What about school the next day. Bakugo won't be happy.

Does he even realize I'm gone?

Something I have never really thought about, was silence. I have always been a quieter guy, but I have always needed noise of some kind. Do all people need that? Even when I was reading or working at the store I needed to have background noise playing, if I didn't then I had a hard time focusing.

I shouldn't have hit the assistant. I know I shouldn't have, I didn't mean to Izuku, it was just a knee jerk reaction. It was his fault! He shouldn't just be showing his hands into things he doesn't know about!

It made me jump when it happened. The very first sound I heard since I got put into this world. A crack of thunder and a flash of lightning in the distance. I stumbled and fell as I stared into the void at where the lightning struck.

I began to run once more.

Like I said, a fairly short in between chapter, but if you can read in between the lines some excellent content. To be honest I think even though it's my shortest chapter It was one of the most expressive and informative. Mostly I wanted to get this chapter out because it's been quite awhile since I posted anything. Don't worry the next chapter will be a much more meaty beast, should have it out in a week or two at the most. And if you can read some context clues and subliminal messages in this one you probably will figure out what's going on!
